that school system did have a pretty hefty issue w violence though, so i’m assuming some 7th graders just decided fuck this and committed a violence

my personal thought is someone got beat down against the wall by multiple people bc iirc there were like smears in addition to splats

and uh. and then i went to art class and drew furries while being annoyed at my teacher (for being sucks) and my friends friend (also for being sucks. she had a tendency to punch people and then guilt trip you about being like dude don’t punch me)

#dude that school was just. it was kinda fuckin weird #trying to remember if there was anything else weird about it #that was the main issue i ever really had w it was that it was a violent district #also uhhh my history teacher that year kept antagonising students and then giving them detention/basically public humiliation if they -#- responded to him #fuckin hated that guy he sucked ass #one time there was effectively a full class . not intervention per se but it felt planned even tho it wasnt #after he antagonised some kid we were basically just like dude what the fuck is your problem #had a panic attack in math once also. the teacher was incredibly intimidating sometimes #and i forgot to do my homework once and also managed to lose it too so i couldn’t even be like lmao sorry bro didn’t do it #i was like oh fuck oh shit where did it go #and managed to work myself into such a frenzy i had to be sent to the counselor bc i was crying and shaking #i was. not on any sort of medication yet #not entirely sure what might have caused that tbh but. yea #wasn’t fun #glad i got outta that school #luckily was only there 5 months or so #then we moved #and the ppl at my new school (which was a really good district n school n all that) were always like #ohhhh this school sucksssss its so badddddd #meanwhile im like dude i walked past a crime scene on the way to art once. stfu #…#anyway. lore drop i guess #shark answers asks #ambersky #shark originals #shark rambles

a One Piece restaurant opened up relatively close to where I live so I think that was the final push to get me to finally consume OP so I can go there and experience childlike wonder

#apparently the food is actually good and they aren't coasting on the IP alone #the last time I experienced anything OP related was the original 4kids dub back when I was in middle school #oh and the live action Netflix show I enjoyed that #but yea other than that everything I know about One Piece was acquired via osmosis #I also have Pirate Warriors 4 but like...the opening mission starts in a part of the story waaaaaayyy past what I've experienced #so I'm holding off on playing that until I catch up #at least until I get to the point where Yamato joins up #I left off when Chopper shows up but didnt watch past that #I didnt even see the episode where that blue haired girl shows up

Art is a form of creative expression no matter how good or bad, and that's what makes it special :3 same with writing, music, painting, and any other form of art.

Draw what makes YOU happy!!!

And if you aren't happy with where your art is currently at, don't give up. Improving takes a long time, finding a style you like takes a long time. Art takes a long time, and you don't ever have to be perfect at it. Art is solely for you to express your creativity, and I believe you can do it no matter your current level of skills

ooooh apparently the pjo show is out? or is it just the first episode? i'm not sure but. hm!!

#shrimp thoughts #once again i fail at being a human being because i first read a pjo book in HIGH SCHOOL yes high school #a friend i'm no longer in contact with lend me their books and i Ate them all up in like a week or so #and then i got so into it that i 1. got an english version of hoh online and 2. pre-ordered the polish version that iirc arrived before the #official premiere... so i read it quickly and passed it on to them and one other classmate i think? lol #i remember i had a fondness for octavian. funny little guy #now that i think about it... i don't... really... have any 'childhood series' that i'd get super nostalgic over if they got a tv show/remak #or wtv. i could read when the... 2nd? hp movie came out but for some reason i didn't like the Vibes (i only got into hp after i accidentall #caught the poa movie on my father's tv in 4th grade and at that point i think the book series was already over)#i was also into the witch comics and in ~2006 i think i got into manga and anime #but only specific series and back then it wasn't as easy for me to watch them in the first place so i can't relate to naruto kids either #when i started jpn studies everyone was an expert on the most popular shows and i... I always hear horror stories about school therapists but mine was a really nice one. I spent the last ten minutes talking about issues unrelated to school and she asked if she could hug me at the end, really nice woman :]

#oh also I confessed to a frier in camp grounds #before the school therapist I was sent to the help Center #I knew he was a religion teacher going in #and I knew he was a frier going out #surprisingly chill tho even tho the advice was as good as you can imagine it was #at one point he was even like ‘but that’s not a very Christian solution’#OH AT ANOTHER POINT HE WAS LIKE ‘but you’re water you can’t act as if you were wine’ YOU LITERALLY BELIEVE JC DID THAT #anyways I want you to guess #between the nice therapist lady and the help Center frier guy #who I told I was gay to #yea #but hey he was super chill #great guy really just not the best. for the help Center.#felt like I was going in for confession

:angy: the fact i can’t talk about [redacted], a character who’s such a interesting culmination of how hopes peak and their system fails and neglects people, and also of how having a school like this has given people the opportunities to do great things which change lives, all because they’re a spoiler for something THAT IS LITERALLY [redacted] fucking GETS ME sometimes.

#on the one hand they’re like. oh hopes peak will drop people at the drop of a hat #they care more about their image and having 16 shiny new students to show off. so they’re like #‘oh fuck someone got incredibly injured doing the thing we were gonna scout them for. well. guess we need to fill the spot #that we were going to give to them. not like we could just. wait for them to be out of the hospital! cuz what if they say no and the class #is left with only 15 students? :(…… yk if we stopped being Evil and removed a Evil policy we could easily scout them next school year.#but why would we stop being evil all for one student who was only in this situation bc of how we’ve impacted labor laws?’#and so it’s like that’s horrible and fucked up hpa what the hell #and then the character gets out of the hospital and it’s like. oh by the way betas seen some incredible technological advancements #in the medical/mobility field (<- obligatory i am disabled! i should make a list of disability rep in beta just bc it’s fun but like #there are characters born disabled characters who become disabled later in life. characters with invisible disabilities characters who need #mobility aids 24 7 et cetera et cetera. and any issues they face the message being sent is always we should change the way #people talk about and handle disability and how disabled people are treated. and never ‘we should ‘fix’ disability’!#this characters mobility aid is in part me expressing my own feelings on my being disabled.#and also in part me commenting on how people talk about and treat disability! nuance) so yea. new adaptive tech #and it’s like woah if hpa didn’t exist i wouldn’t have this this prolly wouldn’t have been invented. thanks hpa :]#but i CANT TALK ABT IT IN MORE DETAIL.
