Thinking a bit more about this Steve Has Older Siblings AU I’ve got going on (here, here, and here). Specifically about Richard Harrington’s first wife, and two things:

1. She’s a saint. Theresa Kline (former Harrington) stood by her husband through multiple extramarital affairs but a not-quite-yet nineteen year old mistress with a baby was her breaking point. She bowed out gracefully.

Richard married his mistress and Theresa moved on. She never said a bad word about him to her kids or to anyone. She never spat an insult at the child that ruined her marriage or about her baby boy.

Though, she didn’t have to.

Her kids said enough bad things about Steve and his mom on her behalf to fill a book. They never miss an opportunity to remind Steve that while both their parents were from two of Hawkins’ more influential and wealthy families, his mother was a high school dropout homewrecker and a whore that didn’t love him.

Even after his siblings tried fixing their relationship with him, they all still take shots at his mom. Jason’s favorite analogy seems to be that him and his siblings are ‘purebred’ and Steve is a ‘mutt.’

Or, well. It was until Robin heard it and said, ���Pure? Like the Nazi’s ideology?? Yikes.”

2. I realize that this AU does not really contradict anything important in the Officer Noodles (and also here) universe. You’d just have to make Angela Harrington Callahan’s little sister.

Due to scheduling conflicts we're celebrating Tintin Day early this month! 🥳

Someone said in tags that they could totally see Tintin needing International Rescuing at some point. What better way for the Hood to put iR's integrity on the line than revealing all to a world-famous reporter? Would the Tracys jeopardise their whole operation to save just one life?!

(Un)fortunately Tintin hasn't shown up at work since 1929, so the only sacrifice here will be an old man's dignity. Again. 🪦

Walter: Since entering, his gaze was either focused on the restaurant around, or his phone. "Hi, may I have a--" He freezes for a second when looking at Canela. "Uh, wait.."

A shrug, this must be ordinary after all. "Nevermind, a mushroom ramen pretty please."

Canela: Seeing as you're our first customer for the night, your order will be right up!

The young Frogadier excuses herself and goes on to hand the order over to her parents working in the kitchen. Tearing the paper from her notepad, she slides it over the window behind the front counter and waits for the dish to get prepared.

The sound of something searing along with the clanging of pots quickly fill the quiet room, followed by a wonderful garlic aroma wafts in the air. A bell dings soon after, signaling Canela to go back and collect her order.

She walks towards the table with one hand confidently balancing the tray holding the bowl, and places it gently in front of the gentlemen with a smile.

When i was a little kid i would always imagine myself in dangerous scenarios so i could 'prepare' or some shit, and i remember it took me a while to figure out what to do in the event of drowning, but i settled on "breath in as much water as you can so you die faster and it hurts less". but like. only recently have i realized,,, what if that makes me unsaveable in the event of a drowning. like if i'd just hung on a little longer than i would've saved my life, but because i used the "breath in water" tactic i just. fucking die

Eddie’s trying to film a Tiktok showing off what he thinks is the best Chinese food in Chicago but has to stop because he’s getting the most judgmental look from Steve so… “What? What’s that look?”
