Because most of their terms are untranslatable in languages with grammatical gender, which the majority of the world speaks, and because I have noticed that monolingual Anglophones tend to associate feminine and masculine qualities to inanimate objects in ways that people who speak (not necessarily natively) gendered languages would never do.

Neo-pronous/NB ideology literally wouldn't exist if most native English speaker weren't monolingual

#For example: USians saying “I'm non-binary” vs Italians having to say “sono una persona non binaria” because binary is gendered #or non-USians saying things like “faeself” without even attempting to translate it into their languages or translating it literally and #ending up with 4/5 separate words instead of one #Or having to add dozens of @ £ * or X because that's the only way they have to “hide” the gender the word whereas in English that word is #genderless to begin with and requires no censorship #I probably could explain myself better but it's not easy because English is such a poor language 🙃#Of course if it was idk monolingual Tagalog speakers who came up with gender ideology then it would have remained in the Philippines #but it was USians and since everyone speaks English and thanks to US cultural imperialism other countries immediately started imitating the #with no critical thought whatsoever #Ah me misera!
