Sharad purnima lalan svarup shringar | शरद पूनम | શરદ પૂનમ - 16th Oct 2024
Excellent demo of how to do shringar in Pushti seva. Interesting to note, she also makes the same type of 2 cut vastra as me :) Its obviously created from experimentation on how to keep Lalan warm during the cold weather :) Excellent view of the string at the back of the gadi to hold malas. You can't do heavy shringar on the gadiji without it! Covering the strings at the back with an odhani or a pitamber is a must :) Only thing is, I use bluetac instead of the black lagau / mina because it is less messy and doesn't damage the vastra and shringar like lagau / mina does. Excellent use of camera at the front and back to give you a full view of how to do seva.

Tumblr media
When travelling in the mountains of Uttarakhand, one view that often catches the sight apart from the majestic landscape is the jewellery of Uttarakhand. Hailed as Dev Bhoomi (Land of Gods), this northern state of India is blessed with multiculturalism that often acts as a driving force behind the rising tourist count. For women, the state of Uttarakhand holds a distinct emotion because of the intricate pieces of jewellery it offers. The rich mythology and beautiful surroundings of this hill city are often exhibited through its perfectly carved gold and silver jewellery. This blog will throw light on the particularity of Uttarakhand jewellery pieces, and how Battulaal Jewellery is the one-stop place for you to buy.
The Uniqueness of Uttarakhand Jewellery
Pahadi women are extremely beautiful, and their choice of jewellery adds to their charisma. They are quite fond of wearing jewellery, and you will often see them effortlessly carrying a Nath or a Hansuli. Pahadi women often pick from the myriad collections of Uttarakhand jewellery online, especially from jewellers like Battulaal. These pieces instantly add to their grace and exude a refined look that Pahadi women are often praised for.
What truly makes Uttarakhand jewellery stand out from the others is its ingrained traditions and culture. Pahadi women, when drape their sari in their unique ‘Pichora’ style paired with a vibrant and embellished blouse, cover their head with a ‘chadar’ or ‘odhani’, and put on that Maangtika and Nath, exhibit sheer beauty. Most of Uttarakhand's jewellery is adorned with precious stones or pearls. Women are found totally decked up during auspicious occasions like weddings or religious celebrations. They are mostly noticed wearing -
Multiple bangles made of gold or silver having detailed designs,
Maang Tikka covering their head,
Hansuli is a broad neckpiece comprising expensive precious or semi-precious stones. This sleek design is worn close to their neck and is regarded as a symbol of beauty and grace.
Pahunchi is a remarkable bracelet studded with precious or semi-precious stones. It is tied with a thread-like structure and is a symbol of elegance.
Mangalsutra is the most dignified piece of Uttarakhand jewellery among married women. A Mangasutra is the emblem of serendipity, prosperity, and a happy life. This piece is made of gold or black beads and worn with a pendant.
The intricate designs of Uttarakhand's jewellery, which have been handed down through the years, are a reflection of the rich traditions of the area. Every artwork tells a story of exquisite craftsmanship and showcases the creative abilities of regional craftspeople. The natural splendour of the area is a common inspiration for the jewellery, which features motifs of celestial elements, flora, and animals.
Uttarakhand jewellery is known for its intricate designs. The artists create pieces that are more than just accessories—they are works of art—by paying close attention to every little detail. Every component, from the colourful use of semi-precious stones to the intricate filigree work, adds to the distinctive charm of Pahadi jewellery.

Heavy anarkali suits for weddings in a variety of styles. They pique your interest by giving you the appearance you want.
What To Consider While selecting Anarkali Suits
We must first understand the history of this fashion accessory before continuing. Women in the Middle East were initially known to like anarkali outfits before spreading to the Indian Subcontinent. These garments were in great demand throughout the Mughal era, and they continue to captivate people's attention now. This outfit, which was once distinguished by a floor-length pleated suit and a tight salwar (now known as leggings), has undergone several changes over the ages, but its fundamental structure has not changed.
1. Fabric
To fit various events, different fabrics were used to create this lovely gown. The fabrics used to make anarkali suits include silk, satin, cotton, georgette, and even net. For wedding attire, heavy Anarkali outfits are often composed of silk with glitter borders. With the emphasis on the upper body, where the most of the embroidered work is done, they are extensively pleated. Despite the fact that cotton-made Anarkalis have revolutionised fashion, the silk or satin fabric's elaborate embroidery is always what gives Indian heavy anarkali suits for wedding
2. Types Of Anarkali Suits
Designer Anarkali Suits are elegant suits that are meticulously made with a style that is ideal for wearing to weddings. These bulky Anarkali outfits for weddings come in a variety of designs; among the most well-known are the Anarkali dresses, which exude charm via their variety of shapes and embellishments like laces and sequins. Fashionista models adore the asymmetrical anarkali suits that are the modern spin on this outfit and wear them to show off this stylish appearance. Some of our collection at Matsya World Includes:
Raatri Anarkali With Dhara Dupatta
Tumblr media
Kurta with a royal neckline, broad sleeves, heavy patterns on the hem, and delicate embroidery in resham thread and sequins. The front yoke and neckline of the flared kurta are exquisite. matched with a deep crimson organza dupatta that contrasts with the trousers and has tassels falling from the corners. A seductive monotone potli rounds off the set. Even more entrenched and private are the clothes from the resurrection collection.
The Riwaaz Anarkali with The Kiyari Odhani
Tumblr media
The Riwaaz anarkali in pink features a front yoke with a keyhole on the neckline and is a classic flared kurta with beautiful filigree embroidery on the neck and sleeves.
On the kalis, sequins, and motiya pittan hem of the silhouette are intricate hand stitched designs. Comfortable straight palazzo trousers and a blue organza kiyari odhani serve to complete the ensemble. The fabric is chanderi silk, a smooth and opulent material.
The Gulali Kota Anarkali Set
Tumblr media
The Gulali Kota Anarkali Set consists of a short, muted grey Anarkali with a heavily embroidered front bodice that displays stunning garland hand embroidery. Notch-v neckline and delicately embroidered quarter sleeves are part of the design. The mysterious shape was influenced by a mash-up of old crafts like resham ari, hand appliqués, and zardozi. "The Humble Tales of Alwar" is a reminiscence of an evolving narrative.
3. Accessorising
Statement jewellery, such as oxidised jhumkas for an ethnic style or pearl earrings for a refined look, can be used to complement these heavy anarkali suits for wedding outfits. Even a nose ring or nathni can be worn with this hairstyle.
4. Creating A Masterpiece
The bridal anarkali beautifully combines traditional artwork and techniques to create a garment that evokes the spirit of Indian heritage and culture. In these stunning wedding Anarkalis, the zardozi and dabka work, which come from the Persian and Rajput dynasties, respectively, are carved by the artists who maintain the Indian tradition and give it a new character.
Conclusion
The most beautiful day of the bride's life is undoubtedly her wedding day, but let's face it, weddings may be stressful due to caterers being late, last-minute checks, several occasions, a lot of faces to remember, and dance rehearsal for sangeet.
And to make it even more memorable, Matsya World provides you with the gift of lovely clothing that, when worn by you, becomes incredibly attractive and unique. Numerous clients like their bridal Anarkali suit assortment because it is created with a number of factors in consideration. It truly is a one-stop shop for all of your wedding dress needs.
