Writing an essay was dreadful by itself but your body decided that was not enough pain. You were currently uncomfortably sitting in a chair with your legs pressed against your chest. Your laptop was open alongside a milion different tabs and papers sprawled out on your desk in hopes of helping you.

You felt a stabbing pain in your lower stomach every few minutes and with every move of your body you felt your pad move. You cringed at the feeling, but continued typing down the words. Gavi was out training and just came home. He went upstairs and slowly pushed your door ajar.

“Hey baby, what are you doing?” he asked, peeking trough the crack since there was quite a few incidents of him launching in the room while you were studying and earning a scolding. You turned your head in his direction, discomfort obvious on your features.

“Pablo” you whined extending your arms for him to hug you. He walked over, pushing you against his chest.

“Are you okay?” he whispered.

“No, I’m not. I have to finish my homework but I got my period. It’s hurts like hell”

Gavi was never sure of what to do when you’re on your period and this situation wasn’t helping him. He kissed your forehead gently.

“Okay, wait here, I’ll try to help” he said before rushing downstairs. He called his sister, asking how to make you more comfortable, and even wrote down some stuff in his notes.

Gavi returned to your room and placed down a cup of tea and some sweets he knew you loved. Then, he brought your fuzzy blanket over, draping it across your lap and practically tying it around the chair.

“My sister told me I should keep your tummy warm, so don’t you dare move. Oh and here’s a pain killer,if you want to take it” he said, placing it down next to your tea.

You smiled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“Thank you, I feel better already” you said. Gavi smiled back and then pulled over an armchair that was in the corner of the room.

He sat it down next to you and got comfortable in it.

You let out a confused laugh. “What are you doing?”

“I’m gonna help you with your work. What are you even doing?” He said, leaning in so he can read what’s on your screen. History essay: world war 2 events. Gavi made a face, letting out a sigh. “How does this even work?”

“Pablo, I appreciate your desire but” you said trying not to burst out laughing. Your mood completely changed with Gavi’s actions, and you were glad he came home ready to help you “but I’m sure you can’t even pronounce half od these words”

“Hey! Is that a thank you?”

You kissed him softly, “Don’t worry about my work, you’ve done enough”

“Okay, I’ll go and prepare you a warm bath so you can jump in after finishing it” he said, getting up. He paused at the door frame, turning to you once again.

You looked at him, and felt safe. Everything he did made you feel safe. You basically forgot about the pain, Gavi’s presence making everything better.

My favourite album is something I can answer, thankfully. I have a lot, though, so bare with me 😅🥹. My favourites are Going Seventeen, Teen Age, Heng:garae, Semi;Colon, Face The Sun, Sector 17, Seventeenth Heaven, Attaca, and FML. Again, I named almost every album lmaoo. But I recommend starting with Going Seventeen and making your way up. They have a lot of good music so you won't be disappointed even by their oldest albums!

Iconic tracks you NEED to listen to would be Fear (a classic), Mansae (another classic and a banger), Highlight (I might be saying this because I'm a performance unit girlie but that song is genuinely amazing), Clap (that song is so iconic omg), Don't Wanna Cry (that song is a masterpiece), Home;Run (the song that drew my interest to Seventeen!), Hot (honestly, just check out the whole album because it's amazing. It was also my first album as a Carat), Thanks (another classic, that song is beautiful), and then you can go in order (either oldest to newest or vice versa!).

Sunday Week In Review XIV

How's everyone doing? I skipped out on last week's update since it was a really slow week on all fronts for all the things for me last week. Things picked up a bit this week - but I'll be honest, I'm having a hard time finding my feet around here at the moment and finding a groove to get into.

Not sure if it's that time of year, a bit of a writing lull or what - but I've been a little meh, not in the sad sense - more like I'm a petulant child offered six different things and I turn my nose up at all of them because I don't know what I want lol.

Also trying to figure out a system for getting through my TBR list, right now it feels like it's out of control and there are only so many I can read in a week. Especially since I want to get through some of my physical TBR pile and dedicate a couple nights a week to offline reading.

Guide to glow up before June?

Omgggg I’m glad you asked!

1. Working out:

I’ve been working out on and off this entire winter. That’s all bout to change. I hired a personal trainer & got on a meal plan. I suggest working out because everybody likes to show off their summer body! So it’ll be something exciting to look forward to.

2. Hustle:

You can’t go into the summer a bad bitch but broke bitch, you’re not gonna have any fun. Stack your money before and during the summer as well, the hustle don’t stop just because the season changes. Hustle so you can have a fun summer instead of being that friend that has to cancel & stay in the house all the time because your funds are low.

3. Wardrobe:

Being half naked in the summer is a must (my personal preference) Mini skirts, denim shorts, mini/maxi dresses, sexy bodysuits, high heels, etc.. is all apart of my summer wardrobe. Anything tight & revealing is what I’m wearing all summer 2021. Period.

Hair:

I love going blonde in the summer time because it just makes you appear brighter. Short hairstyles are cute to in this weather change because it can be hot & you don’t want 28” - 30” of hair crawling up your neck

Makeup:

Cake face in the summertime is NO bueño. Never was & never will be. The summertime should make you feel light & airy. Natural makeup looks are always a go. Makeup looks with pops of color are cute as well. Whatever you decide to go with, don’t OD it.
