Me making more character designs for side characters that really don’t need them.

The ruling family of sin, the spooky vampire hotties, the Potolemea family!

Raeveen is absolutely the leader of this family, the morticia aadams of the realm, her husband practically kisses the ground she walks on. She’s the more talkative, friendly and outgoing one while Astare is more serious and professional. The twins are giving the twins from the shining vibes, always together, keeping to themselves and moving so quietly they jump scare people by showing up right behind them. People often view the family as scary, since they can be absolutely ruthless when they need to be. But they’re all a bunch of softies for each other.

My dumbass realised I haven’t actually designed appearances for the rulers of sin yet, so that’s my side quest. They don’t get too involved in the overall story, but sin lore does get mentioned here and there since Micha is originally from sin. So here’s a quick lil lore dump on the royal family of sin and some other sin tidbits:

Vampire family of a mother, father and twin brother and sister.

Twins are called October (M) and Odette (F), sticking with an O theme. Both are 18-19 over the course of the story.

King and queen are Astare and Raeveen

Family name is Potolemea

Classic case of twins being very close to one another, preferring to spend time with each other over going out places.

October protected Odette from an attack when they were young, and he’s got a stab scar on his chest from it.

Many species in Sin drink blood because it has nutrients they need to survive. Any blood will work, but some animals/creatures are richer in that nutrients than others. Most blood is taken from bigger animals.

Blood deprivation results anaemia like symptoms, and when it’s dangerously low will drive blood drinking creatures into feeding frenzies where they’ll lock onto the first person or creature they see and attack with a boost if adrenaline.

Demons CAN drink blood, but they don’t NEED it like vampires too. So Micha has never drank it, doesn’t want to either.

A lot of demon athletes and those with certain chronic illnesses will drink blood for the nutrients it holds though.

The Royal family was invited to Haru and Michas wedding, and attended to support Micha in particular as he’s originally from their realm.

The king and queen are rather strict and formal, their kids are more carefree but keep to themselves. So Micha was SHAKING with nerves about meeting them.
