When did Tim and Heidi get engaged? Long time ago for fundies.....

They got engaged on october 6th, 2023. That's 302 days as of august 3th. It's longer then his sisters (259 and 254 days). Carlin Bates had the longest Bates engagement with 245 days. Josiah Duggar had the longest Duggar engagement with 126 days. For the others families are the data less accurate so I think Timothy&Heidi are actually having the longest fundie engagement so far.

Some of this is very misleading, and designed to incite your emotions. It's better to be angry while also having correct information.

To give a little bit of context to what's happening:

The wind farm was legally built, had all its permits.

The wind farm was constructed in 2016-2020.

They started producing electricity in 2017, and were fully operational in 2021.

The wind farm produces electricity for 100'000 homes.

Removing said wind farm would cost over $10 million.

The indigenous Sami people herd reindeer, which is one of their main sources of providing for themselves.

It's only in the past 40 years that the Sami people/culture have gotten special legal protection. They still face many issues.

In October 2021, the Supreme Court ruled that the wind farm was a human rights violation because it greatly harms the Sami people's ability to herd reindeer in this area.

The original permits were declared invalid.

500 days since the ruling went into effect, the wind farm was still fully operational.

February 23rd 2023, peaceful protesters were blocking entrance to the government energy department.

The 27th, less than 10 protestors were carried away by police - to outside the barriers.

They were not arrested or taken into custody, but at least 7 will be charged and will have to appear in court later.

There has been no violence.

Hundreds of people have showed up to support.

Demonstrations ended after a week, marked by speeches outside of the royal castle.

The prime minister has apologised and has stated clearly he agrees the wind farm is a human rights violation.

Friday March 3th (today), the prime minister had a meeting with the affected reindeer herders, to repeat the apology and start looking ahead for solutions.

IN SUMMARY:

The human rights violation in question is the continued existence of the wind farms, harming the Sami way of life.

No protestors were harmed or arrested, though a handful may be charged for resisting verbal police directions to move themselves.

The government has apologised for the wind farms, and are working with the Sami to find a solution.

There's still a long way to go to solve the actual problem.

The Sami absolutely still deserve your support, and this case deserves attention. You may still donate to help their cause.

A new comment always makes me nervous, but I'll start Reflection #2 with the happiness of knowing that Reflection #1 was sufficient and that I got a good grade.

For this reflection, I received a similar comment to the previous one. Until the #1 reflection, I used Gibbs' Reflective Cycle. Gibbs' Reflective Cycle is a reflection tool comprising six detailed sections, so it was easy for me to follow as I was unfamiliar with blogging reflection. However, after #1 reflection, I was writing in a new way to find my own new blogging style.

"Using a model from the Reflector's handbook will help you articulate effective reflections in your report" (Nick, 2023)

However, since Nick recommended using the Reflector's handbook, I thought using a new reflection toolkit would be a novel challenge. After comparing five different reflection tools, excluding Gibbs' Reflective Cycle, I was intrigued by 'The CARL framework of reflection (hereafter CARL)'.

CARL tool: 4/5: The CARL toolkit was the only one that didn't directly mention emotional expression. Writing blogs has allowed me to become more comfortable and natural with expressing myself and my emotions through this semester, so I wanted to use a toolkit to help me develop new areas. While writing my blogs, I realised that my weakest area was how I 'analysed' them. The advantage of CARL was that I could naturally describe and analyse my experience through Context, Action, and Results. The biggest advantage was that the toolkit was easy to understand, even with my limited English skills. :D

This part of Nick's comment struck me the most, as I actually looked back at my own blog after reading the comments and realised that my reflection on myself as a designer was comparatively less than my reflection on the project. By focusing on the project for such a long period of time, I didn't reflect enough on my personal development and reflection as a designer.

I hope this reflection will serve as a foundation for me to reflect and develop my own designer thoughts and abilities.

It's autumn break. Twenty eight more days till Halloween. I'm fond of Halloween and i'm glad that it's autumn because i felt overloaded during the summer.

Whenever it's a Tuesday on a school day, i don't want to have gym class. One part is due to my laziness, and the other part is because the teacher is a male teacher. I feel this wave of unease whenever we have a male teacher, almost like they're hiding their inner nature inside of them. I wouldn't forget my gym bag if the teacher was a female teacher. In fact i feel comfortable with the female teachers and uncomfortable with the male teachers. It's been like this for so long and yet i've never had a man commit a cruel act on me. There is just something that makes me uncomfortable about adult men or just the male species in general. Why do some men believe that they're in a position of superiority because of their gender? They're just ignorant fools who don't know their place in this world as a product of society. Those who have conformed to society are nothing but folks who don't know who they are, really. They strive to become an idealistic version of themselves and proceed to claim that it's realistic. People like those have no pinch of humanity in them.

I don't get the point of confiding in with others these days. They're simply wanting you to conform to society's ideals of a happy and healthy person.

I like birds because of how free they are. They have the ability to fly freely whenever and where they want. They're a great metaphor for freedom. Freedom is when you think, feel, do, say, etc. without having anything stop you which in most cases is society stopping people from reaching true freedom. Nowadays, there is an untrue, fixed idea on what freedom is.

"You can do, say, and think whatever you want, but don't be a bad person."

That completely destroys the meaning of freedom. Good and bad is a chain that chains us from reaching freedom and expanding our mind to run away from ignorance.

Dear god, who thought that i would actually start making posts with this blog? But I think I want an archive to keep track of my weight cause... well... who knows where I will end up.

A little history first:

All my life I was a little under weight and had body image issues because of it. It wasn't until I became older and my body matured and developed an adult physic that I started to feel a little better about it.

Last October I started to live with my partner and the first two months where okay... but last December? Well, we wouldn't be here if for the first time in my life I hadn't start to gain a little.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a feede nor have any intentions of activily gain, I felt comfortable at my current size... but I can't deny I am a little obssesed with the little weight I gained. Part panic cause I was sure I had it under control, part fear because of the same reason, and part excitment.

So let's put some numbers there.

Startting weight, October 2022: 70,2 kg/154.7 lbs

Current weight Jaunary 3th 2023: 71 kg/156.5 lbs

Wow, considering a few days ago I was almost at 160 lbs my weight swings rapidly like crazy. That or the holidays effect. But, up or down, I want to keep a record either way. If this month I see that my weight doesn't change that much in a weekly manner I will just do it monthly.

We recently discovered something big! We know that the missing grandDuggar, #29, is now solved. Josiah&Lauren had a 3th baby, a boy.

There was a babyregistry with a due date of may 3th 2023

JimBob mentioned in Joy's pregnancy announcement video that she was expecting grandDuggar #30

JimBob mentioned in Joy's birth video that she had #30 and that they are now in a tie, making #29 a boy

There surfaced a photo of Hannah Duggar with her daughter Brynley and Lauren pregnant, so the photo has to be of this year

With this info I decided to put Josiah&Lauren down with a 3th baby, a boy and I put the due date of the registry as date of birth. We don't know if that's correct but it's something to go from.

With the birth of this 3rd baby both Josiah as Lauren move up in the list. Lauren goes from place #39 to #34. She is now 27 places ahead. That put's her almost most ahead. Only Kendra is more ahead for her age. Josiah stood on place #38 and is now on place #33. He is now 14 places ahead, the same as his brother Joseph.

For the future Josiah&Lauren really changed my mind about how fast they are going. I'm predicting we will find out again about them having another baby in october 2024. What do you think?
