Ocean El Faro, the New and Spectacular Colonial-Style Resort in Punta Cana

H10 Hotels has opened its new five-star resort Ocean El Faro in the Dominican Republic, located on the seafront on the magnificent Punta Cana beach with crystal clear waters. The newly built establishment offers Suites equipped with all the amenities needed to guarantee guests maximum comfort and well-being, top-level facilities and a varied range of exceptional services, including various themed restaurants, the Despacio Spa Centre wellness centre and the Privilege service , for those looking for a more exclusive stay. One of the project's iconic buildings is an impressive lighthouse, which is the hotel's namesake and which is located on the seafront, serving as a privileged vantage point with incredible sea views. Among the facilities of the resort are its four large swimming pools, as well as a lazy river, an attraction for adults and children that consists of a water circuit with fun jets and waterfalls. This lazy river ends in a Pool Bar ideal for relaxing in the water. The renowned Lázaro Rosa-Violán studio was responsible for designing the landscaping, architecture and interior design opting for a pronounced colonial style, characteristic of the island. Welcoming the guests and immersing them in the colonial atmosphere that permeates the entire complex, the Lobby building contains high-rise arches that make it an impressive and unique space. The different functional areas of this building are distributed according to 5 themes inspired by the different departments of a natural history museum: the marine world in the Lobby Bar; botany at the general Front Desk; butterflies at the Privilege desk; planetarium in the Piano Bar and birds in the Library. Guests will be amazed by the 12-meter whale skeleton that presides over the main hall and is located above the Lobby Bar. The new resort has spacious and bright Suites equipped with LCD TV, complimentary Minibar, electric coffee machine, in-room safe and a fully equipped bathroom with whirlpool, rain-effect shower, double wash basin, professional hairdryer, scales and magnifying mirror. Wood and the color white predominate in all the rooms, whose interior design features maritime details such as a series of framed drawings of historic lighthouses. Its Swim-Up Junior Suites stand out for being located on the ground floor of the buildings and offering direct access to a pool from their terrace, as do the Rooftop Junior Suites, located on the top floor and which include a terrace with sun loungers and Jacuzzi. The establishment also has Royal Masters Suites – sumptuous rooms that include a bedroom, a separate living room and privileged sea views – and Swim-up Privilege Master Suites, which also have a private terrace with Jacuzzi and direct access from the terrace itself to a pool, offering the chance to take a dip in the water directly from the room. As for its dining options, the Ocean El Faro has a wide culinary variety with a total of eleven restaurants, eight of which are à la carte establishments specialized in cuisine from different parts of the world:  Italian, Mexican, Asian, Caribbean and American, among others. In addition, the resort includes the Main restaurant El Mercado, which offers varied options of freshly cooked dishes, as well as the romantic adults-only restaurant Blue Moon and the Pez Dama restaurant, located on the beach and known for its fish specialties.
