I've been too lazy lately to post my own things, but this calls for some attention.

So you all like idol groups. Here's a (semi) new one!

It's called Obachaaan and if that's not dynamic enough for you, there's more:

They consist of 47, yes 47 members! That's 47 obachans for your viewing pleasure! It makes them comparable to both AKB48 -1 and the 47 Ronin (a pretty sweet comparison, might I say)

The group plays on the stereotype of Osaka Obachans - talkative, aggressive, loves animal print and hands out candy anywhere, anytime and to anyone, especially on the train.

Apparently, what with the average age and all, the memorization of dance and lyrics are a little slow and Obachaaan Pink has already dropped out due to a foot injury (bless her heart). But they're still rowdy and going strong!!

FYI: they offer counseling and advice at performances with their collective obachan wisdom.
