Where Roland is Logan and Lara is Jean Grey. I mean, from that 2000s movies, u know? Ofc Roland is more Logan than Lara is Jean, but it's also bc her appearance combines two images actually, and the other one is from manga "Beagerutā" ("Die Wergelder"):

This is the closest to canon image of the two I could create.

My other housemate has only watched a few episodes from the ST marathon and none of the movies (and has kind of magically escaped a lot of pop culture awareness), but that was enough for her (someone with her own deep investment in very different fandoms) to be O_O at the Kirk and Spock interactions.

We were talking about how shitty the parent corporations etc were towards many slash shippers of the 70s and 80s, and she was like, "I don't really get why anyone would be mad about people seeing their particular relationship as romantic, it's just... this isn't coming out of nowhere. There's a lot of intensity and they obviously care deeply."

me: Yeah, the series finale includes Kirk saying that Spock is closer to him than anyone else in the universe.

Ash: Wait, really? Like, literally?

me: Yes. That's just about the exact wording, actually.

Ash: Damn.

I finally had the chance to cosplay as my favourite ship with my partner earlier this year. I've lowkey been obsessed over the connection that Free and Eruka share with each other for well over a decade now. Their chemistry is one of my favourite parts of Soul Eater, and it felt amazing cosplaying as them with someone very special to me. ❤️

I've been doing some thinking about Buck and Eddie dressing up as Crockett and Tubbs and it is pretty obvious that they had been wanting to do that for a while. I think that if the occasion of Chimney's aborted bachelor party hasn't come up, I think that Buck and Eddie would have done on Halloween or an 80s theme birthday party for one another.

OKOYE AND ATTUMA MADE UP IN HUGS. FISH MAN MAY AS WELL BE TREE MAN TOO.

Alex was so NICE and COOL to talk to! We our chemistry hit it off when I met him at his booth in my Okoye cosplay! Ya'll, his face lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw my cosplay and gave me the Wakandan salute and I gave him the Talokanil salute in return. I told him how so many fans admire him online and how because of him, the cast, and movie, so many black and brown fans came together through the representation. He looked so touched about it 🥺 But ya'll, he not only signed my fanart of Chibi M'Baku and Attuma chilling in a box as a meme redraw from Spongebob Squarepants' "The Idiot Box" episode, he saw the timelapse for it and even asked how I drew it because it amazed him that someone actually drew art of him in that style! He even noticed the chibis swapping clothes! Ya'll, I gave him a copy of the chibis for him to keep and he was so happy about it, HE LEAPED OUT OF HIS CHAIR AND GAVE ME A TIGHT BEAR HUG. WE ROCKED BACK AND FORTH A BIT AND JUST LAUGHED TOGETHER 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I met up with him again two hours later for this photo op and he gave me another bear hug AGAIN before we took the pic! He said it was up to me to do the pose and I said to do a hug and he was down with it 😭😭😭😭 Everyone with us were just all smiles and laughing together 🥺 He gave me ANOTHER HUG before I left out! And he was the guest judge for the cosplay contest for the night! If ya'll saw his face journeys of being impressed and surprised by the detail and effort cosplayers put into their costumes 🥺 And before we fully left for the night, he gave me a goodbye hug before I see him the next day ���🥺🥺🥺

This tall tree nerd is such a ray of sunshine! I would legit just talk with him on a deck and have a drink with him all night. That's how much of a cool person he is 🥺 And yes, his hands are HUGE. THEY LITERALLY COVERED MY ENTIRE HAND. AND THAT MAN IS PURE MUSCLE. HE MAY AS WELL BE A FIRM MATTRESS 😭😭😭😭 I hope Alex knows how well-loved he is and I wish so much more for him in his future! 🥺💖💕
