What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

@brooklynislandgirl While I have gone on to the point of endless circles about how Jayden loves Beth. It is more than a love of being friends. There is such a deep connection, may be not soul-mate status, but close enough that if it were true, then I would have no reason to argue against it. They are a close as they can get as friends, as family, and more. Beth and Jay were created, on paper with pens and pencils, sticky notes and yarn to connect the dots. Looking a lot like a conspiracy board to outsiders. But Turtle and I spent a solid six months, if not more, working out details of the girls' lives and how they fit together with each other. Across different verse and timelines. How they know that the other will be there when all hope is lost and there is nothing left but each other.

All of my ships are near and dear to me. To know that there are those out there that are putting in the time and effort like I am to make the Ship, no matter what shape it takes, to work. I can't give specifics as to why one is greater than another when the reality is that I see them all as stars in my night sky of written words.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

It would be easier to state what I will not write when it comes to shipping. Meaning I will NOT write things like Non-Con, Age Play, Daddy/Mommy Kinks and closely related themes to the listed ones. I refuse for many reasons that do not need explanation further than I'm just not going to do it.

The Following are Available if the Muns are friends for at least Six Months and are consenting to: Dub-Con could only come up as a suggested plot if I have written with you over a regular basis and that we talk near constant OOC. Toxic and Negative Ships can be brought up provided that we the Muns have a healthy understanding and plot it out over several weeks.

Sex and BDSM topics can be talked about after two months of OOC of conversation. Or if we the Muns feel comfortable enough with each other to talk about such things. But that is a preference of mine.

That being said, I am open to most types of shipping from romantic, to friendship, to familial, and even frenemies. With the clear statement being that, and let me say it loudly for those in the back of the auditorium, COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

For me to be able to write out certain things, I need to know where my partner is at. I will check in with them at every reply, ask questions to the point it might feel like an interrogation to the outside the thread. If it becomes clear that the ship is starting to harm or make my RP Partner uncomfortable, I need them to be honest with me and I will terminate that specific ship and all threads relating to it.

I am not here to get my jollies at the risk of my partner's; mental, emotional, and physical health. Nothing is worth hurting another human being for.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

Age gaps do not really bother me so long as again, We Communicate. I do prefer the Muse in question to be over 21 as I am not going to even pretend to enter the Underage thing. It honestly creeps me out now that I am older in real life. I get a few years, but after they are approaching being about five years younger than Jay is where I draw a hard line.

Are you selective when shipping?

I have to say that I am to a certain point. I like the semi-realism of watching Muses meet, grow and interact. Seeing that relationship develop and blossom gives the Ship a certain fondness for me. Something I can look back on and go "Yeah, that was the moment it became something real." I have stated that I am a slow-burn kind of girl, but that doesn't mean we can't plot the past and jump into an established friendship.

I am open to figuring out pre-established romantic relationships, so long as it is not fresh following each other. I need to know you a bit more than a name and a "hey baby, how you doin'" if that's okay.

I will be honest, unless I have known the Mun for a spell and it is something that we have plotted for, Jayden is not going to just drop her panties and say please within the first ten minutes. That is something that I don't feel right about as I think it betrays who she is as a person. Yes, she is an OC of canon characters from a show. But she is more than her parents. She belongs to no one, except maybe Beth and even then Jay does not always listen. She can make her own choices.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

Personally, I like to stick to T.V. standards. If it would be considered rate R, then of course I am going to tag it as such. But for me, I like to take it somewhere more private if the Scene goes to Third Base. Mostly because A) I do not have a lot of experience with writing for the public, and B) It takes days if not weeks to make sure that I am follow where my fellow Mun wants to take things.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

I have several ships that I will go down with. But I understand that life happens. To list them all would keep us here for several hours. And even then I would feel like it wouldn't do the Ships justice. Because I love them all in different ways.

For those standing Ships, it takes a weight off my soul to know that my mutual Muns have taken the time to chip away the near indestructible wall of Jayden's exterior personality to get to that soft gooey center. That they can see she has flaws and still choose to love her on purpose. No matter what that love is.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?,

Don't get me wrong, I would like a head's up that it is something you, the Mun asking, is interested in. If it happens by accident, that is awesome. I'll be fair and honest, unlike my Muse, I am in real life oblivious to people flirting and the associated actions. So if you are subtle about it, I won't see it. And my goal is to not intentionally hurt someone because I was "Madam Not Getting the Hint."

And if I am asked, then I have a better grasp of what direction we want these stories to go. And yes it will change how my Muse interacts with yours.

How often do you like to ship?

I am not looking to force anyone into anything. As it has been a very large Issue in the RPC. Only getting followed for sex and nothing else just isn't my cup of tea. Not to say that you can't do that, I'm just respectfully bowing out of that.

I want us to know each other, to be able to be friends before putting a label on what our Muses are. But I would like to hope that our Muses could have at least and "I tolerate you" and "I would save you from being on fire" kind of ship.

Are you multiship?

I am. Each ship is in their own bubble pocket universes and timelines. Think of them as Pants of Time. There are two choices, and each one taken changes that timeline differently.

That is not to say that I can't enjoy watching other relationships come into being. Even if there are multiple crossover verses with several Muns, UNLESS TALKED ABOUT BEFORE HAND, there is very little butting into someone else's relationships. There is no "Oh my God, Becky you're dating my man! How Dare?!" Honestly cheating plots are not something I am all that interested in? But that is just me.

Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?

I mean, kind of More or Less. If one happens I am here for it. But even if one never comes up, that is okay too! Sometimes you just see Bob Joe at the park when you walk your dog and exchange a "Still breathing?" in passing.

I have had a standing Mutual that at first our Muses would just annoy the shit out of each other for like a year's worth of multiple threads. And we as Muns were fucking tickled pink by it. To this day I am not sure if He considers Jayden His friend or that woman the bane of His existence. I am looking at you my feathered friend.

What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?

I have so many that it is silly and that there is very little time to explain them and why I will die on their respective hills.

Finally, how does one ship with you?

Talk to me. Be honest with what you want to see and I will do my damn best to make it happen for you. I sadly cannot read minds from my desk chair. SO in order for us to write something we are both enjoying, I need to have a head start and a map to get to the right path we want to take our stories into.

PLOTTING / WINGING IT / MEMES : All three? I am horrible with coming up with initial plots, but I like the outlining and world building once one gets started. Winging it can be fun and a liberating way to light the fuse and see what happens. Memes are always welcome. Be it ice-breakers or to start a new chapter in a story involving our muses.

GENDER : I am a Female Mun. I can write female muses with ease as that is what have real life experience with. Can I write male muses? Yes, Is it odd, sometimes. Do I ask my RL male friends for advice, 1,000%.

MULTI OR SINGLE : I can work with both. I am a dual muse, though one is “Sir Hasn’t been assed since just after being fleshed out” but who’s to blame him? Though I will reference other Muses in shared verses when given permission. That way the world feels more real? IF that makes any kind of sense.

LEAST FAVOURITE FACECLAIM(S) : Not really? Everyone has an idea when it comes to their Muse(s), and I respect that.

ANGST: I can. Is it my go to? Generally not. Am I avoidant of it? No. Like Fluff it has a time and place, considering I am a slow-burn real life inspired relationship oriented. 

SMUT: I prefer fade to black, but off the dash I can and will write smut. To be honest it is mostly what I write when I need a break from Tumblr. Or life? Hmm... maybe that is something I need to unpack?

most active muse :  Jayden is slowly getting louder. Then there is the useless lump of werewolf on the couch that I am concerned if he is still breathing. -shrug-

experience / how many years :  I've been writing fanfic since I was in middle school, mostly on my own, but I did get a partner and have more than one composition note book of rp-fic buried in boxes somewhere. But on this platform I have had several failed attempts since.... I wanna say.... 2010? Yeah I know I’m old af. Thank you.

best experience : Since I actually found people to write with Jayden, I have to say that her third active year was the best. I had mutuals, a groove, and just enjoyed writing.

rp pet peeves : Having no Canon Characters, and being a more dominant personality leaning Female Oc... yeah to say finding a foothold or even having someone deign to give me a glance let alone actually read my writing is a bitch with the toxic demands. To say the standards that have been set since the beginning is fucking awful to live up to. Unpopular Opinion, that is sure to get me hate, BUT... as it has come up in many an offline conversation is that *Your Canon was someone’s OC at some point in history!* Just saying, maybe don’t be a dick?

fluff, angst, or smut : Yes? All of them? Though I am not great at writing smut, preferring to fade to black or even move that off the dash. I am not shy about talking about sexual things. I can fluff till the Highland Cows come home. And just don’t ask about Angst. Or if you want just ask @brooklynislandgirl and mention JAHSFF. 

plots or memes : Both?? Both is good.  I prefer plotting even if it takes me 10,000 years and a crick in the neck to even approach you with one to begin with. But Memes are a great ice-breaker. And it gives the chance for Muses to get a first impression. Though existing ships of all kinds are welcome to memes too.

long or short replies :  I am a multi-para writer. I always have been? Meme answers can vary between two and three paragraphs a minimum. I occasionally can do one or to-liners for a meme answer but that is rare.

time to write : For the rest of July, anytime. I just have to actually get off my ass and just write. Between August and May, with Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays being weird. I’m on in early afternoons.

are you like your muses : I mean maybe? 

Jayden is confident, shaped like I wish I was, know what she wants and goes after it. Doesn’t take shit and is loyal to her friends and family. I have the loyalty part. She is proud where I am not. Full of life and spontaneous where I am more introverted and have to plan every single thing down to the minute with back up plans which lead to me bailing on most things. I over think too much where she is one intrusive impulse from getting arrested most of the time.

Avery is different. As he and I share the level headed, mediator, councilor, voice of reason traits. But clearly he is male and over a foot taller than I am. And far more charming than I could ever be. 

Even then they are parts of what I wish I could be. A living fantasy in written form and escape from what I am as a Mun and person.

There are Four People I wish to discuss. And while many of others are equally amazing, I can’t fit everyone in one post. Otherwise this post would go on for miles and no one wants to scroll all that way. So I have decided that I will post as the Pheasant of Positivity and tag four people a month. 

That being said we begin.

The First I will mention is @brooklynislandgirl: Turtle is my everything. She is my best friend, my sister, my advice giver, my mentor, and my role model. She never fails to come to my aid when I need her. She is kind, she is sassy, she is sarcastic. And most of all she is there for me when I need her the most. She never gets the credit she deserves. Not nearly as much praise gets sent her way. But I know that I can’t wait to sing her achievements even when she doesn’t want me to. 

Why, because she is the best thing in my life and I would never have come back to Tumblr if it wasn’t for her. I have tried in the past and never got my feet under me. But now, I have had the best four years of role playing and getting to know some amazing people. All because we came here together. She is the Lilo to my Stitch. The Sun rise to my Sunset. The Ying to my Yang. She keeps me balanced and I woe her more than I could ever repay her. 

The Second I will mention is @riggsanity / @jerseysass / @goodlawman: This beautiful Mun has a way of bringing her Muses to life. To giving them more depth and substance than they had before. In every post you can hear what Muse that she is writing, swearing they stepped off the screen and where writing themselves into posts. This is a hard thing to do and yet, they have mastered the art of it. 

And if you need a positive spot in your life, this is a person you need. She is always kind and I can’t thank her enough for lifting my spirits when things got too dark. Need to scream about headcanons? Want to swap ideas? just need to talk to someone. Come to her she will always be there. 

The Third I will mention is @stevenjmcgarrett​ / @diazxeddie: Speaking of positive, this amazing person is new to my life, but I can’t imagine what it would be like without her. She is always ready to start a thread. She bright, bubbly, funny, and one of the most interesting people I know. We have so much in common that it blows my mind. And the kindest, sweetest person that leaves me feeling better about life. 

I suggest that if you need someone to chat with, one of the best to do it. She always has a story at hand that will leave you smiling. And so welcoming that you never feel out of place. 

The Fourth I will mention is @whosxafraid: My bird. One of my closest friends, and one of the first people who was willing to give my Muse a chance. There is so much I want to say that I can’t even put into words. I can only hope that I have brought her as much cheer as she brings to me. I can’t thank you enough for the last four years. Four can you believe that?

The way this Bird writes is gorgeous. There is nothing that isn’t pure creativity. And yet reading it is like being inside of someone else’s head. Having a front row seat to the thoughts and feelings that my not be expressed. It takes your breath away and the devotion to writing an accent is dumbfounding. To have the courage to stick to your style and never give into the demands of others. It just leaves  you wanting more.
