ultimately even disregarding the legal reasons why they had to tone down violence filming a scene with extremely young child actors— the decision not to turn blood and cheese into a red wedding style pop culture behemoth shock and gore fest intensely choreographed Big Jaw-Dropping Moment is good for the culture in my opinion. thinking about all the pre-s2 comments sections hyping it up being like You dont wanna miss this… two words…. Blood and Cheese TM…. ;-)….. and having to face a narrative that refuses to reward that impulse! it genuinely does feel refreshing how this gruesome violence is rendered mundane and the viewer is utterly denied any catharsis from it ❤️😌
