#ONE letter/postcard/baseball card from every single person in the fandom will make a difference

#PickUpPitch Campaign Phase II

Pitches,

It has been two weeks since we kicked off the official #PickUpPitch Campaign to find Pitch a new home. We have had some time to think and refocus some things. 

We are now targeting Hulu and Netflix only. We think that MLB network is our longest shot of being picked up by. We also wanted to keep the efforts as simple as possible to garner the MOST participation. 

Today we are pleased to drop the #PickUpPitch postcard that you can mail off to the content managers at Hulu and Netflix. You can email them and we encourage you to do that, but the physical pieces of mail will make the biggest and most lasting impression. PLEASE CONSIDER SENDING A PHYSICAL LETTER OR POSTCARD TO HULU AND NETFLIX. 

We know that you guys spent money on postcards and baseballs last time so we are asking that you send just a few postcards,if you buy them, to Hulu and Netflix. If two is all that you can afford that is MORE than okay. Also, there is no obligation to buy the postcards. They are just something fun and eye catching. .You can also print the baseball cards at home in black & white, but your own stationary or an old fashioned letter works just fine.

 Also, PST does not make any profit off of these just like the other postcards, the price is manufacturing only. 

Don’t know what to say? No worries, Pitches made a template that can be found here that you can use. Just tailor it for the person that you’re writing to! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!!

Next order of business: Tracking. Tracking. Tracking. Please track what you send so that we have an idea of what’s going out and the impact we’re having. 

Also, please continue to Tweet @Hulu and @Netflix asking them to #PickupPitch. The more noise we make in as many places as possible, the better chances of getting and keeping their attention is. 

IMPORTANT: Metrics matter. Metrics can be the difference between Hulu taking a serious look at us and blowing us off. Watch Pitch on Hulu. Turn it on and run it on mute in the background while you do other things if you have to so that our counter goes up. The more views they see, the more likely our chances of getting them seriously considering picking us up.

Lastly, Pitch showrunner Kevin Falls mentioned in an article that they want to do a closure episode. Listen, we all want a season 2 and that’s what we’re fighting for here but we will take a wrap up episode if it’s what we can get, right? So, let’s remind creator Dan Fogelman (@Dan_Fogelman) and our showrunner Kevin Falls (@KevinFalls) that we still stand by our show by tweeting them support. Don’t harass them, just let them know we are still all in and willing to watch literally anything that contains Ginny Baker. ONE tweet from each of us should be good.

As always, we need all Pitches on deck if we would like to make this a reality. We cannot stress how important it is to participate right now. Every single letter, baseball card, postcard, email, and tweet is SO important. SO! IMPORTANT! We cannot make this happen without everyone on the team doing their part. That’s right - we are a team. A big international team. We need to show these networks just what we’re capable of and we need to work together in order to win this World Series. We can’t expect Hulu or Netflix to take our requests seriously if we don’t put in the effort to show them how serious we are. Every single one of us needs to do at least one of the multiple things we’ve listed. Just one. There are a LOT of us. If each of us just do ONE thing minimum, we will be heard. 

Send your emails, tweet them, but most IMPORTANTLY send those physicals mailings. Let’s do this TOGETHER. Nobody wins alone. We CAN do this. Precedents are being set right now. Let’s set ours.
