#white collar#There was this period where there were lots of really silly but awesome 'procedural' shows#and it was glorious#White Collar did fuck itself over somewhat later on#I don't think I ever watched the end of the last season#but when it was good it was very very good#And it had one of the best television marriages I have ever seen#Whatever else it did#it had a loving married couple who communicated. trusted each other. and were supportive of each others lives careers and interests#Any time it seemed like there was going to be 'drama' in their relationship it was neatly sidestepped#OMG will Peter cheat on El? No no he won't!#Will El believe that Peter has been lying to her? No no she won't because they have in fact already discussed this issue#What's this?Qd#a misunderstanding where it looks like Peter is having an affair?#El is literally laughing at the very idea because she knows her husband and trusts her husband#Even Neal didn't fuck up their relationship#El was just like 'okay I guess we're a throuple now I'm good at sharing'#and Peter was like 'I'm so sorry I just can't let him out of my sight he's feral please don't be mad'#And Neal had already stolen their house key and made himself a copy#Then back to El who has poured Neal a glass of wine and started a 'can you believe what Peter did' gossip session on the sofa#I'm not even joking about any of these things#Qd
