So, Tsumiki is definitely present in the Threshold universe! Gojo didn't mention her by name when he was telling Megumi's story, but when he said Megumi didn't want the Zen'in fortune because he's "stubborn as hell", he was talking about Tsumiki.

It's a parallel to canon basically. The Zen'in — obsessed with bloodlines as they are — seriously underestimated the strength of the Fushiguro siblings' bond when they refused to factor Tsumiki into their discussions with Megumi. Hence, he followed Gojo into music rather than rely on their dirty money. That's why the Zen'in blame Gojo, even though it's really just because Megumi's a spiteful little so-and-so! 😏

Because of the parallels with canon, Megumi would try to keep Tsumiki away from the toxicity of the music industry as much as possible — hence why she wasn't at the album launch. However, I like to think that her career is adjacent to Megumi's in some capacity! As much as I love writing about the Fushiguro siblings' relationship with Gojo, the inclusion of that story served more to give Suguru a look into the real Gojo Satoru, so she's unlikely to feature in this fic. I think continuing their story would require a sequel — which I'm not even gonna think about until Threshold is finished... I'm not, I'm not thinking about it!

As for Gojo's dedication at the concert, he spoke in Japanese so Suguru would understand him, so most of the audience wouldn't have known what he was saying immediately. However, I'm sure the online reactions once the videos were translated and passed around were very interesting! Having said that, it's hard to communicate the nuances of the Japanese language in an English language fic. To most English speakers, "this was the first song I played for them" seems like a deliberate omission of gender, but that's not the case in Japanese. So, I imagined Gojo using his native tongue very responsibly in that moment, sticking to language that sounds purely professional — but that wouldn't stop fans from speculating 👀

I'm not planning to explore Gojo's past in *too* much detail because it's mostly his present and his future that are relevant to the story. Meanwhile, it's Suguru with the big fat question mark over his past... 🫠 So, if you want to ask questions, go ahead and I will simply avoid sharing spoilers! As for where to ask questions, Tumblr lends itself to longer answers so if you enjoyed this response, probably best to ask here! However, AO3 comments feed my body and soul so feel free to leave those too... It's whatever you prefer really 🥰

Unlock Tour in LA Experience

I’m going through PCD right now, and I just want to list out everything that I remember from the concert before I forget so here goOOES all of my Y/N moments at the concert :’)

First of all: front row tickets. Holy shOOT I got so lucky with those. I can’t believe that I was able to score 3 front row tickets for Ruby, Aurora and I ahhh (+1 ticket from Aurora for Val hehe). And the fact that I was able to get seats in front of Changbin and Seungmin for Aurora and Ruby made me extra happy hehe.  I’d first like to start off by saying: the Microsoft Theater is so unorganized. Outside of the theater and inside the theater, it was chaotic. But anyways IMMA MOVE ONTO MY INTERACTIONS WITH STRAY KIDS BECAUSE THAT’S THE IMPORTANT PART HERE. 

I’d first like to start off by saying that Minho pointed at me with his blue rose and called me “baby”. And then Seungmin took his rose, but Minho stayed in front of me and waved. Then Minho went away, but he came back to wave at me some more, he saw that I was recording him, and he gave me a heart. My phone tilted away from him a little bit because I couldn’t see what I was recording (I had my screen facing Minho so that he could stop the recording) so Minho followed my screen and to give me a heart :((. SIR I HECKING LOVE YOU. But then I gestured to my phone screen to tap on it and I kept saying “TURN IT OFF”. In the video you can audibly hear me bEGGING Minho to turn off my phone. Minho just teased me by shrugging and going “Should I turn it off?” But then he gave in and turned off my video, and then he tapped on the screen again to start a new recording for me :((. He was so gentle with it too. Minho, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. But Minho was the first member that I looked at and purely thought, “Wow he looks like a God”. His facial expressions? Minho himself? He looked so manly and handsome, I sincerely could not take it. When he got so close to me I almost blanked out because he is just wow. Minho’s voice in real life is so beautiful, I can not get his verse in 3rd Eye out of my head. 

At the beginning of the concert (didn’t catch it on video) during a quick ment, I started hyping Changbin up by jumping up and down, pointing at him and yelling, “LET’S GO CHANGBIN YEAH CHANGBIN”. He saw me, and started dancing and laughing. 🥺I held up a Changbin slogan and he saw, so I got his attention a lot :(( He would wave at me in between dances, and for some reason, he just kept looking at me? Or at least in my direction? I have so many videos where he just kept looking at me, but I’m not complaining. Idk I was recording Changbin a lot because I just had to stand there and think “Wow he is real” and he caught me slipping in those moments. The spotlight was RIGHT on me since I was front row center, so pretty much all of the skz members could see me bright and clearly. As a result, I was definitely not discreet when recording Changbin. I was so in awe of him that I kept recording and taking pictures of him. He waved at me the first time when I waved a finger heart at him, and then in all the videos that I took of him, he was looking at me. He was probably this ��This bitch again ??? Stop recording me” AKJGH 

SO. MANY. MFING. HYUNJIN INTERACTIONS LIKE YESSIR THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Hyunjin saw my Hyunjin slogan and waved at mEEEEe multiple times as he constantly bent down to grab a napkin/towel ahhh please sir I loVE YOU Omg rip me after skz watched the fanmade VCR for them, I thought Chan was gonna cry so I yelled out “울지마!!!!” AND HYUNJIN HEARD AND STARTED POUTING AT ME 😭😭😭 And he kept pouting and looking at me but his gaze was too powerful and strong so I hid behind my slogan hhhh Also, during the ments, the boys would randomly start getting hyped up, so I would get hyped up too. As a result, I did that one little dance that Hyunjin does where he puts his arms up into the air and waves them around while wiggling a little (the dance that Hyunjin did when they were going to go eat meat during the finding skz up where they were in chan’s aussie house). I kept doing that, and Hyunjin saw me dancing like that, and he started doing the dance too :( Sir, you and I are the same huehuehue. Also, Hyunjin kept bODY ROLLING IN FRONT OF ME. I WAS LIKE EXCUSE ME, I DO NOT HAVE THE STAMINA FOR THIS PFFt. 

Chan interactions were just him clowning me 😭😭 Hyunjin had a sweaty towel, and he threw it down but it landed SUPER close to me. So I laughed and pointed at it, but Chan saw me point at Hyunjin’s sweaty towel and was like “Are you gonna take it?” 💀💀 Then when I showed Chan my “Can I have a water bottle please :(” sign he asked me “Do you really want one? Can I really give one to you?” LMAOOA GKLHJG G AH IM SORRY CHAN AHAHAH Chan also said like “I don’t know if I can give one to you :(” So I just waved my hand and said “No it’s okay I’m kidding!!” But everyone around me saw my interaction with him and they started freaking out with me hahaha. I also made half a heart with my hand in hopes that Chan would complete it. I waved it at him, but he didn’t complete it ;-; He did wave and smile at me when he saw my heart though huehuehue anyways bang chan best leader I LOVE YOU Also Chan got so embarrassed when he Stays would chant “BEST LEADER”. Chan, please, you really are the best leader and we will forever cheer you on for it.  I couldn’t clearly hear what the members were saying during their ments because the speakers were a little further away from me, but I saw a video of what Chan said online about how it doesn’t matter what gender, age, identity you are and that makes me so :(( He sincerely is the best leader ever and I hope that he knows that. 

I waved a finger heart to Seungmin and he smiled, winked and waved back. I also just want to thank Minho for coming over to me so much during encore because Seungmin also came over to play with Minho and they were both so cuute :(

ONE JEONGIN INTERACTION !!! HE WAVED AT ME I WAS LIKE “FINALLLLYY AFTER ALL NIGHT”. I also just have to get this off my chest, I called Jeongin “오빠” during hi Touch and he was like “EH?” But.. it’s.. fine. I’m fine. I have no shame. 

ONE Jisung interaction 😭😭 when he smiled and nodded a little at me during I Am You because I waved a finger heart at him.

I had more interactions with the backup dancers than I had interactions with Felix LOOL. Their backup dancers are kinda cute though no lie... one dancer kept dancing right in front of me and I would just smile and wave at him trying to hype him up and he would smile back and nod at me. I was like “You’re doing great sweetie!!” 

During a couple of their ments, I would turn around so that my back was facing the stage and so that I could take a selfie with the skz members in the background (LMAO I HAVE NO SHAME). But when I took one of the pictures, Felix was looking and he caught me taking a selfie ha ha ha 🤡 That’s really the only “interaction” I had with Felix. He wouldn’t look at the front row :(( He kept gazing over our heads and into the void pfft 

I brought so many slogans to the concert. I brought a slogan for Minho, Hyunjin, Changbin, Bang Chan and Seungmin. I was constantly switching out my slogans during the concert so that I could get a member’s attention and I definitely do not regret doing so :) Those slogans helped a lot heheh. I also got slogans with pictures that horizontal instead of vertical so that it would be easier to hold during concerts. I do not regret anything one bit :))

Imagine you are having a travel around the world. You're having this moment bcoz you've been busy for the past few months.

 You're in Hawaii and everyone's been greeting you "Aloha". All of the people were friendly-- exceptionally these 6 men.

 They were all crossing the street with their hands up in the air, doing the aloha sign. You smiled. 'They're handsome though. They look like those people who people are dying for--- oppa?' you thought.

 "ALOHAAA!" a man was shouting. he's so handsome. he looks like an actor. They were crossing the road going to where you are from while you're crossing to the place where the 6 boys came from.

 "STOOOOP!" another man shouted and suddenly ran to the pedestrian lane causing him to bump onto you and your wallet to dropped.

 "Omyghad! Shorry!" you didn't know if you'll smile, frown or laugh at him.

 He got the wallet and was about to run again when he suddenly stopped. "Where are they?" he asked suddenly.

 "Uh..." you hesitated for a bit. "My wallet?" you asked.

 The man suddenly faced you, startled. "Oh! Here! Sorry!" you were a bit flustered at how deep his voice was and hoe handsome his face was.

 "Yes, may I help you?" you asked formally.

 "I'm lost." he pouted. You wanted to laughed but he's too cute.

 “I am in a vacation too.” he answered. ‘He’s handsome but isn’t he a little bit weird?’

 “Soooo?” you asked.

 “Can I come with you?” he suddenly asked. You have no idea about what he was talking about so you just shook your head and walked off.

 “Heyy! Don’t be mean.” a man suddenly called, grabbing your wrist. “My friends left me and I have no idea where I am right now.” he pouted.

 You heaved a sigh. ‘Why is he so cute?’.

 “You’ll never kidnap me?” you asked. You hit yourself in your mind for asking a stupid question.

 “Wow. This is my first time hearing that kind of question.” the man laughed. “I am Kim Taehyung, by the way.” he held out his hand, asking for you to reach it.

 You smiled a bit, shook his hand, “Y/N.”

 “Nice name.” he smirked. ‘Oh my ghad, he has so many personalities.’

 “Okay.” you answered awkwardly. You started walking while Taehyung was on your back. It was awkward, really. You couldn’t enjoy your trip much as a man, whistling at your back was following you.

 “You’re quiet. Are you shy type?” Taehyung suddenly asked. He walked a bit faster so he could walk beside you. “Hey, Y/N~” he called you.

 He’s catching your eyes with his so you forcefully looked at him because he’s effin’ annoying you a lot. He smiled widely as you looked at him. You looked at his rectangular smile and he noticed it so he pointed white his mouth, smiling.

 “This is unique right? Rectangle?” he told you then chuckled.

 “You know, why are you following me? There are so many people here, and I’m just also a tourist. I might get you lost more, you know.” you told him.

 He was looking now at his feet, matching his steps with yours. ‘Is he a kid?’

“There! We’re matching steps!” he said happily. “Oh, I don’t know also. I just saw you so, might as well help me out?” he told you innocently.

 You just didn’t want the conversation goes any longer so you just kept silent for the rest of your walk.

 “Y/N.” Taehyung called you.

 “Hmm?” you answered.

 “I’m hungry.” he pouted. “And tired.”

 “Then eat.”

 “Eat with meeeee!” he said cutely. Just--- why in the world-- “My treat.” you nodded suddenly as he said that. “Aha! The magic word!”

 You two went to a coffee shop. He just ordered different kind of pastries while you just ordered frappe.

 You two were sitting beside the glass wall and Taehyung was at the front of you. “Y/N.” he suddenly called you.

 There were bits of bread on his mouth so you couldn’t help but to laugh. “Why?” Taehyung asked.

 “N-nothing.” you answered, holding your laughter. “Why were you calling me?”

 “How old are you?” he asked.

 “Isn’t it a little bit disrespectful for you to ask that?” you asked back seriously. He looked worried suddenly so he stood up, and bowed.

 “Juisunghamnida.” he told you. You seemed startled though.

 “Just kidding. 21 years old. So you’re really korean?”

 “That’s why my last name is, “Kim”.” he said, stating the obvious. He acted as if he’s surprised, placing his hands on his mouth, “Omo! I thought you’re smart then---” you just gave him a glare so he just smiled at you so sweet. “Yes, I’m korean. Do you know that I’m a little bit well-known there?”

 “Oh, really?” you said, sounding surprised. Well, you’re not surprised really because with that face? Of course, he’s well known. ”Do you know Kpop?”

 “I’ve heard of them but I haven’t researched about it. It’s from your country, right?” you asked. He nodded. “Why? You fan of them?”

“Ha?” he seemed startled. “No! I just asked. Curious, you know. Because it’s been trending these days.”

 “Ha, a korean person doesn’t like kpop?” you laughed.

 “You know what, you really look pretty when you laugh.” he stated. He’s a bit out of thw world though as he was looking at you.

 “What?”

 He blinked a few times before coming back to the world. “N-nothing! Let’s just eat!”

 He ate in silence while you were just looking outside. Little did you know that Taehyung has been looking at you frequently.

 You saw a beautiful child outside, holding a flower so you decided to take pictures of her. You didn’t know that you’re smiling while taking a picture and you also didn’t know that Taehyung has been relaxing on his seat, smiling as he was watching you.

 “You love kids?” he asked.

 You looked at him, smiling while holding a phone. “Yes! I love them!”

 “Wanna make one?” you choked at your frappe as you heard him ask that.

 “What the---” you glared at him.

 He had his eyes popped out, scared of your look, “No! I’m sorry! I didn’t meant it that way-- I mean… aish!” he rubbed his hair and took a deep breath. “I mean, do you have a husband or a boyfriend? Like, do you have a plan on having one?”

 You’re still glaring at him while he’s just looking at your eyes. “Stop glaring at me.”

 “Then stop looking at me.”

 “I want to but I can’t take my eyes off of you, though.” he said again dreamily. After seconds of awkward silence, he snapped back to the reality. “O…oh. Yes, I’m sorry. I mean.. yeah.. uh… How do I put this..” his ears were reddening so you laughed.

 “Omyghad, you’re too cute!” the words you have been wanting to say suddenly came out from your mouth. “N-no, I-I mean… uh… Aish!”

 Taehyung, from the shy one suddenly gave you a teasing look. “Yiieee, you like me?” he teased.

 “In your dreams! You were the one who was looking at me tho! You have a crush on me?” you asked back.

 “Hell, no?” he said--- asked--- said-- what? “So back to the topic. Do you have any husband or boyfriend?”

 You shook your head. “I’m single. You?”

 “Same.” he pouted. “I can’t date.”

 “Why?”

 “You know this feeling of someone’s controlling you?” he asked seriously. “I feel like someone has been watching me always and when I do a thing, they’ll judge me.”

 You can feel the sincerity of his words and the sudden sadness in his eyes.

 “Why? Who’s controlling you?”

 “Everyone around me.” he answered. “I’m so sorry if I’m being dramatic or what.” he chuckled.

 “No, it’s okay. I’m a bit surprised though. You really have this kind of problem?”

 “Of course! I’m also a bit surprised. Why am I talking this kind of problems to you?” he chuckled.

 “Then don’t if you feel uncomfortable.”

 “Nope. I feel comfy towards you, I don’t know why. Maybe we just clicked?”

 “Whatever with those cheesy things. So, what happened with your life?”

 Taehyung and you had a talk for hours. He talked about his life; his hardships and difficulties. While you also talked about it. You were a bit surprise on how you two got comfortable already; talking about life and laughing together about some useless things.

”I have these 6 friends, the men who I was running after earlier.” you nodded as you listened to him. “Besides from my family, they’re the only people who I can share these things with.”

 “Then should I feel honored?” you asked.

 “Feel free.” he chuckled. “Hey, it’s evening already. I haven’t noticed the time.”

 You looked outside and realized that it’s dark already and the shop was becoming empty already. “Omg, let’s go!”

 Months passed after that vacation and Taehyung has been texting and calling you every night since then. You’ve been busy at your work while he’s in Korea, doing his work; the work he didn’t mention to you.

 “Y/N ahhh~ Wake uuuppp!” you woke up at the sound of your ringtone. “Ppallliii~ Taetae is waitiiinggg!” the ringtone continued.

 You woke up, frustrated and rubbed your eyes. You checked for your phone under your pillow and as usual, it’s Taehyung.

 “YAHHH!” you shouted on the phone.

”Ahh! It hurts!” Taehyung said. “Very good, you’ve been keeping it as your ringtone.”

 “Aish! It’s already my ringtone so why are you still calling me every morning?” you asked.

 “To wake you up, pabo-yah!” you rubbed your hair and got off your bed. “Brush your teeth now.” he told you.

 “I’m going to. Hang up now.”

”Okayy!” you were about to put down your phone when he suddenly called again-- video chat this time. ‘Omyghad, again! Is he really doing it as a routine now?’ you thought.

 You answered it and a sleepy yet smiling Taehyung greeted you. “Good morning, Y/N, ahhh~”

 “I’m gonna brush my teeth now.” you said as you yawned. “Ahh, I’m still sleepy!”

 “Then don’t sleep late.” he said. You could see him walking, going to his bathroom and holding a toothbrush. You’re doing the same too.

 “You a fool? You were video chatting me also last night.” you said. You started brushing your teeth, Taehyung was also doing the same thing. He was saying something but you couldn’t understand it so you just didn’t answer.

 After brushing your teeth and washing your face, Taehyung talked. “Hey, on Saturday, can we meet up?” he asked seriously.

 “Where?” you said as you were tying up your hair.

 “There will be a kpop concert there at your country, my friend is going and I’ll go with him. Can we meet up there?”

 “Sure!” you answered.

”I’m going to tell you something.” he said and he hung up. You suddenly became nervous and you didn’t know why.

 You’ve known Taehyung for a while, and he’s been talking to you about his worries and his days but he never talked to you about what he was doing in his life, like if he’s a student or what. All you know is that he’s Kim Taehyung who has a lot of troubles.

 “You know, Kim Taehyung… even though it seems like I know you… I also feel like you’re distant from me.”

 Taehyung hasn’t been contacting you since that morning. You’re starting to find his voice and presence and it’s a little bit weird for you to wake up early morning, waiting for your phone to ring and staying up until late at night, waiting for his call.

 “Aish, Taehyung!” you shouted, frustrated. You were about to call him and get your phone on the table of your office, when it suddenly got a message.

 From : Taehyung

 Have you received the ticket already? Let’s meet up inside the venue.

 You want to call him but you might just disturb him so you just text him back.

 To : Taehyung

 I’ve received it yesterday. Can I call you?

 You really want to type, ‘I miss your voice’ but you just hit your head, asking yourself why are you thinking like that.

 After 12 minutes, Taehyung answered. It’s unusual though. He usually texts you back in just a minute--

 From : Taehyung

 Why? Are you troubled about something?

 You were about to text him again but then he messaged you again.

 From : Taehyung

 Sorry, I have no time. I’m busy.

 You felt sad and you don’t know why. Maybe because you’re not used to this. Taehyung not contacting you for days and now, he seemed cold.

 To : Taehyung

 Nothing. I just missed your voice.

 You have the urge to send that message but then you just deleted it. ‘Nah. I’ll meet him later.’

 You dressed up and got ready for the concert later. The ticket only says that it is BTS’ concert and you’re in the VIP section. You didn’t search what BTS was for only you know was that you’re gonna meet Kim Taehyung there and that’s only what matters.

 You drove to the venue and got surprised that there were lots of people outside.

 “Wow. Is BTS really this famous?” you asked yourself. You just walked inside, not minding the surrounding. You just really want to see Taehyung.

 Inside the venue, you went to the VIP section and on the stage, only the logo of BTS was there. “Where are you, Kim Taehyung?”

 You’re anxiously waiting for him to come but no one came and the concert has started already.

 “Where are you, Kim Taehyung?” you whispered to yourself. A song was being played in the background but you’re not minding it. Later on, all of the fans were screaming so you looked at the reason why…. and you’re surprised to find the guy you’ve been waiting.

 “Taehyung…”

 You’re nervous af. You’re wondering why is he on stage? And why does he look more… presentable, more matured there? Why? Is he… Kim Taehyung?

 He’s with the 6 men you’ve seen in Hawaii. They’re all waving while singing. You’re just looking at Taehyung, speechless. You couldn’t believe it.

 When Taehyung’s part came out, you could hear his deep voice you missed so much. But… ‘No… his voice is funnier than this…’

 He’s smiling to the crowd but you’re wondering why is he smiling like that. You know it’s not genuine, you know his real smile.

 Everyone was screaming while you’re just there, staring.

 BTS introduced themselves, and it’s Taehyung’s part now.

 “Hiiii!” he cheerfully greeted and everyone screamed. “I’m V! It’s nice to see you again, armyyyyys!” he looked at every corner of the venue and he spotted you. He smiled sweetly at you while you’re just still in shocked.

 BTS performed and you couldn’t deny that they’re really amazing but overall, you’re not still used to Kim Taehyung.. being V? No, you know him but… who’s who?

 BTS now was having a talk with the fans.

”Annyeong armyyy!” the leader asked. Everyone screamed. “How are you?” everyone answered while you’re just looking at Taehyung who’s now looking at you too.

 “Who are you?” you mouthed. Taehyung smiled then shook his head. “I don’t know you.” you mouthed. You didn’t know why but a tear came out from your eye. You felt betrayed. ‘Why didn’t he tell me? I thought I was his friend…’

 Taehyung walked towards the corner of the stage, to where you’re facing. He’s smiling to loads of girls and will frequently steal a glance to you. He was smiling to everyone while saying, “Uljima.”

 You decided to just leave. “Well, I don’t know BTS, why would I be here? And there’s no Kim Taehyung here.” you said to yourself.

 You were about to leave when Taehyung talked with his mic.

 “Stop.” he said. You didn’t know why but you stopped. ‘Aish! Y/N, go!’ you thought but your feet couldn’t. “Look at me.” he said and everyone screamed.

 “Taehyung-ah! Saranghaeyo!”

 “V!!!”

 Everyone was screaming his name but you know it, he’s talking to you.

 “I just want to tell, thank you for everything,” you didn’t know why but you suddenly cried--- “Look at me,” he said. You couldn’t help but to face the stage. He saw your crying face and you could see his face softened. The fans were all confused but you didn’t care.

 “Sorry if I didn’t tell you who am I in front of these many people. I’m so sorry if I couldn’t wipe your tears now… I’m so sorry if I’m so coward that I couldn’t go to you right now and tell this to you face to face. But you know it right? What have I been through?”

 He’s not looking at you but you could tell it, he’s talking to you.

 “Thank you for coping up with my personality.” he laughed. Everyone was silent so you could here your heartbeat. It’s hella fast. “I know I’m annoying sometimes, but I just want you to know that I’m only showing to you who I really am.” he started looking at you. He was shaking his head as if to tell you to stop crying but you couldn’t help it.

 “I’m coward in front of the other people. Scared that they might judge for who I really am… and I know you’re different. You accepted me.” everyone around you was all crying and sobbing. Wth.

”From the day I met you, I could tell that.. you’re different. You didn’t know a single thing about V and met me as Kim Taehyung.” a tear came out from his eye so he wiped it immediately and chuckled. “I really want to thank you for accepting me as Kim Taehyung and not as V of BTS.”

“Uljimaaa!” the fans were all crying as Kim Taehyung started to sob. A little guy was now comforting him but Taehyung still faced the fans, smiled, and said this to his mic,
