After rewatching the Sonic movies, I’ve come to the conclusion that Sonic Movie 2 suffers from a major pacing issue. It’s not as funny as the first, is overloaded with characters, feels too long, and can be boring at times. Movie Knuckles may be the best Knuckles we’ve ever gotten, but Tails isn’t very notable

On the other hand, Sonic 1's biggest flaw is that it doesn’t fully feel like a Sonic movie, but it's genuinely hilarious, the script is tight, Sonic is endearing, and the story stays focused.

That’s where I stand going into Sonic Movie 3!
