just reached the OUAGHHHH stage in the artistic process
#cas posting#outline is done. it took me abt 15 minutes to do the sketch and then line with pencil.#been staring at it trying to figure out how i want to apply the colors for probably a full hour at this point#THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS WITH MY PHYSICAL ART#the amount of times i have light box traced outlines so i can fuck around with the coloring. it’s why i want to get better at digital art#bc it’s significantly easier to go back to the lineart and recolor when you don’t have to REDRAW THE THING A LITTLE#anyways. i only brought 4 color markers with me where i’m at rn#so i’m trying to decide if i want to use all 4 as a palette which could. maybe?#or just do 2 of the colors. ugh#also they’re not like coloring markers they’re fine lines bc im much better at line shading. like crosshatching etc#but that makes it WAY harder to incorporate the colors bc they are meant for the opposite of blending#like im committing to solid patches of color basically. we’ll see#OH edit tag. i am drawing kim :) in my onion he looks pretty good pre color. we shall see if i hurt him
