Prompt 89 with power, denji, and aki
OH MY GOD SAY LESS
Prompt 89 - “YOU SENT ME PICTURES OF YOU NAKED WHILE I WAS IN A WORK MEETING”
Ft. Aki Hayakawa, Denji, and Power
Warnings: Slightly suggestive (but not really). Other than that it’s pretty chill
AKI HAYAKAWA
You moped around lazily on your couch, your eyes focused on the television before you as you scrolled through the seemingly endless amount of channels.
All in all, today was pretty uneventful. You hadn’t even been called out to patrol the streets!
But Aki had.
You figured since Aki wasn’t home to make you suffer the consequences of your actions that you could do stupid things and live in the moment. And while that was true, Aki was expected to be home any minute now.
And boy were you in for it.
Finally! You found a channel that was playing some weird European horror movie and pulled out your phone.
135 NEW MESSAGES FROM AKI
Oh you were so done for.
You were getting ready to open the messages, but the sound of the door practically being kicked down caused you to jump and drop your phone.
“Y/n!” Aki shouted and stormed into your shared living room. He spotted you on the floor and pulled you up by your arm, hoisting you onto your feet effortlessly so he could yell at you. “What in the hell was that for?! You knew damn well I was out patrolling with Himeno today!”
“What was what for?” You feigned innocence, but you were only digging your grave deeper. Aki grabbed ahold of your shirt and shook you just enough to make you dizzy. You laughed and looked into his eyes.
“I’m going to give you shaken baby syndrome.”
“You can’t give that to a twenty one year old, dipshit.” You chuckled and patted his cheek gently, only to be picked up and thrown onto the couch. You let out a high pitched squeal and giggled.
Aki didn’t find this overly funny.
“I can find a way.” He huffed and glared down at you. “You’re lucky Himeno didn’t see those.” He mumbled and crossed his arms stubbornly.
“Didn’t see what?” You tilted your head and looked up at him, your eyes shining mischievously. “What are you talking about, Aki?” You said his name so sweetly and it only upset him further.
“YOU SENT ME NUDES WHILE I WAS WORKING!!!” Aki raised his voice and you were sure the neighbors had heard him. You smirked and rolled over onto your side, giving him a playful wink.
“So did you like them or not?”
DENJI
You didn’t even give him some warning. Instead- you broke down the door to the apartment that he shared with Aki and Power and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, picking him up and dragging him off to god knows where.
He fought and complained the whole time, pouting as you ignored his whining. Knowing Denji, he probably didn’t remember sending you those. Shit- he probably sent them to you accidentally, but that was no excuse.
Once you had gotten far enough away from Aki’s apartment, you released him and glared at him.
“What’s all this abo-“ He started and you shut him up with a sharp jab at his side. Denji grabbed his side and whined like a little kid, hoping you’d show some mercy.
“Denji. I would kill your devil ass right now if it wouldn’t come back on me later.” You grumbled and crossed your arms stubbornly.
“Eh?! What did I even do?!? You’re so mean to me!!” He complained further and you wanted nothing more than to grab him by his shoulders and shake him until his brain was scrambled.
But you couldn’t.
Because 1- you had some morals. And 2- scrambling his brain seemed too nice of a punishment this time.
“Do you not remember..?” You leaned in and whispered darkly. While the both of you knew that you weren’t really upset, you still came off that way. “What have I told you about teasing me while I’m busy? That type of shit isn’t cool.” You huffed.
“Wait what.” Denji stood there, looking at you with that dumb expression on his face. He was at a total loss.
“Do you want me to refresh your memory?” You asked sweetly, batting your eyelashes in a manner that you knew would mislead the poor guy.
“Oh! Uhhh… yes please!” He began to nod enthusiastically, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
“YOU DIPSHIT! YOU SENT ME PICTURES OF YOU NAKED WHILE I WAS IN A MEETING!!” You watched his face fall and had to hold back a laugh. Slowly- he pieced it together and had no shame in telling you that he did.
“Well yeah. Isn’t that the sort of thing I’m supposed to do?” He mumbled and you grabbed him by his shirt again.
“NOT. WHEN. I’M. AT. WORK!”
POWER
“Don’t be cruel to me! For I am thine-“ She was cut off by you quite literally kicking her in the back. You weren’t supposed to return for a good hour or two, so your sudden appearance while she was out on a mission had her baffled.
“What was that for, peasant?!” She huffed and glared at you, rubbing her back with an annoyed sigh.
“Well I wonder.” You said sarcastically. “Let’s sit down and think about what you did today.” You put a hand on your hip and pursed your lips, waiting for her to say something. Anything.
But she just stood there. Looking at you like you had just insulted everything she stood for.
Which wasn’t a lot- but still.
“I have done no such thing to deserve this form of treatment!” She said stubbornly, and you had to physically restrain yourself from lunging at her.
“Power.” You pulled out your phone and showed her the messages she had sent you. “What does this look like to you?”
She took your phone and looked at it before handing it back to you and denying it further.
“‘Tis the rat that made me.”
“I DID NOT!” Denji shouted and chucked a rock at her.
“Power. We both know Denji had nothing to do with this.” You put your phone away and stared into her eyes.
“Nothing to do with what?”
You swear she has the attention span of a newborn baby.
Slowly, you took a deep breath to refrain from shouting at her. “You sent me pictures of you naked. While I was at work. And in a meeting, no less.”
“The devil phone sent those itself!”
“POWER MY BOSS COULD HAVE SEEN THOSE!!!”

Hi!! I went back to my notes. I need to scratch that itch in my brain (writing down information) anyways, WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERES A 15TH ENTITY?????
Mag 134: Time of Revelation
As you can tell from my above comment, I am very surprised. How was I supposed to know. The Extinction. Again, killer name. Is that what's going to be the main villain of this season? Thats what it feels like so far. Also, interesting The Web and The End never tried a ritual. Plus, the idea of The Extinction wiping us out to replace us with another race to fear it in return. Thats cool. But that makes me think are we like part of the cycle? Was there a race before us but then they got wiped out. I guess not because The Extinction is a newer entity. Okay ignore that
One thing that's been bouncing around my brain is like..if any rituals worked. Like these entities have been around for I dunno since fear was possible I guess. Rituals, while they take centuries to set up, would be pretty common to succeed so I'm just wondering if any entity succeeded in a ritual that led to the world now.
I still don't like Peter. "Hopefully our patron" SHUT UP. Also love that Martin helped out Jon with all those recorders. Because Jon can sense them. though I guess he didn't know that
MAG 135: Dark Matter
The last of the trio of statements (MAG 57, MAG 106). I did point out that in MAG 106, her fingertips were burned. I guess its because she handled a god damn SUN. A DARK SUN?? Anyways Maxwell Rayner appearance, woo. Also, an explanation behind Daedalus which i throughly enjoyed. Although the part about the nyctophobe being used as a battery did make me genuinely sick to my stomach. Dunno why that was the most unnerving part of this podcast to me.
Anyways, a ritual for The Dark. Took them a while, like a solid 4 years. in Norway too. Home of Jurgen leitner. You would think killing Rayner would stop them but no! Cant be that hard to end their ritual, just point a flashlight at them
MAG 136: The Puppeteer
I love seeing different perspectives to the same story oh my god. Anyways this is related to MAG 110, obviously. I wonder if neil lagorio knew about..The Web from the beginning. Was he in cahoots? They said he would send people to watch previews of his movies and they were never the same so i feel like he was. Plus he was described with no warmth behind his eyes and that sounds very not human so.
Annabelle Cain. She popped up before in MAG 69. Nice to see she's branching off to other hobbies like killing old men. I think she killed him at least. And now that were talking about her, I'm reminded of Jons zippo lighter with the web design. Did she somehow send it? Because that zippo lighter was given to him in like s1 and it hasn't been used for any plot important stuff and I'm getting antsy over it, who sent it, I swear to god. Chekhov's Lighter.
Also, "there's me, Melanie, Basira-" "Traumatized, traumatized, paranoid" that is the funniest thing wtf. Another thing, I am very worried about Melanies therapist. like very. Melanie please be careful girl
MAG 137: nemesis
War statements always make me feel bad. So Wallis Turner gave this statement at the Pu Songling Research Centre (MAG 105) which is yknow the sister institute. I wonder if they serve The Eye as well. Anyways "Nemesis" appeared before in MAG 105. Im guessing the entity related to this is The Slaughter. Crazy their ritual failed, those losers. The Risen War. God why are all the names so cool.
ALSO, Eric. What did Gertrude mean about telling gerry about following in his dads footsteps? I checked my notes and in Mary Keays statement, it's implied Eric serves The End. At least that's what I got. he did get a gruesome end. Sorry.
I think that's everything. I see the next statement is Robert Smirke, oh my god. I need to know what this insane architect was up to, I'm so excited.
#the magnus archives#tma#tma s4#tma podcast#zabala0z thoughts#low-key missed my notes#Im not going to write down all the details from every episode like I did before#Know when I had free time and stuff. But I will write down connections I notice#My shitty brain kinda needs it#Anyways#Still hate Peter Lukas#And Elias#My two least favorite characters#now make them kiss

i'm ranting abt yet another bl manhwa
i started reading even if you don't love me earlier this year and recently it concluded! i have many thoughts. none if them are nice.
for the uninitiated, even if you don't love me follows these two guys who meet in high school. the bottom is a poor guy who is continuing his education a year or two later (he initially dropped out to help support his family) and the top is a rich kid with anger issues. they go to a high school full of rich people, the poor bottom going there on a scholarship. he has plans to graduate and become a lawyer. the rich top is supposed to be taking over the conglomerate his family owns.
anyways the bottom and top share a class, and there's this other rich kid there who looks a lot like dio brando. he notices that the top is pretty antagonistic towards the bottom so he goes and tries to strike up a friendship with the bottom. this pisses the top off, ofc it does.
anyways the bottom and the top eventually start dating, he begins to spoil the bottom, even going as far as getting him a puppy. although the bottom felt uncomfortable with relying on the top so much all is well.
until it isn't. the bottom's dad dies in a hit and run, his colossal debt dumped onto him now, and he drops out again to work to pay it off.
now here's where i start to get annoyed with this manhwa.
someone dubbed this manhwa "even if you misunderstand me" and that really summarizes all 135 characters of it 💀 i'm perfectly fine with drama and dark plots but oh my GOD, 65% of the drama came from these idiots not communicating AT ALL. and it's acceptable-ish when they're seniors in high school (19 and 17), their miscommunication that set them up for failure started back then, but the manhwa does like 3 timeskips over the course of close to a decade if not longer, and the bulk of their miscommunication happens when they're too fucking old to be behaving like this. the other 35% of the drama is because they didn't fucking communicate as well. there's a difference between these two forms of miscommunication LOL
the first comes from them simply not talking their issues out. the other comes from them not telling each other shit. for example, towards the end of the manhwa the bottom gets kidnapped by dio brando and that could have been ENTIRELY AVOIDED had the top actually explained that dio brando is a psycho druggie and fucking hates his guts AND will go to extreme lengths to take whatever the top has his eyes on. this should have been explained to the bottom WHEN THEY WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL instead of the top playing it off as being possessive. another example is how dio brando is the one behind the bottom'a father dying. the top could have just told him that instead of fucking up their relationship even more by paying off the debt and forcing the bottom to pay him back then assaulting him when he was like several minutes late to paying him back at the agreed time. the reason he was late is bc he'd gotten beat up and gang raped at one of his jobs.
and that brings up another issue i have w the manhwa. the assaults that happened to the bottom genuinely don't make sense. i get why he got gang raped (dio brando set him up). but at one of his previous jobs his cowokers raped him there too? he was working at like a mining company or something in the mountains i think. was that really necessary. the top forcing him to give him a blowjob after he paid him back late didn't make much sense either but i will let that slide since he was trying to be a hardass.
anyways they eventually got to the point where they were making an effort to communicate which was way too late in the story, lol. it was nice to see but immensely annoying to stumble thru 100+ chapters of them having the stupidest beef bc they're like 7 year olds in the body of adults. at the end dio brando kidnapped the bottom and tried to rape him but he got stabbed in the eye and that stalled him long enough for the top to bust in guns blazing and nearly beat him to death. dio brando got sent to the psych ward and the top paid some guy to kill him in there. they live happily ever after with their dog. 3/10 story, i feel like this manhwa being officially published really tanked the quality of the story, but i feel this way about pretty much every manhwa i've picked up, it's just more obvious in some vs others
#niyah.txt#i sound like one of those idiots complaing abt dark themes in a n+c game omg#i promise im a freak yall i literally have nonconnoisseur in my twitter bio#i started typing this at 4am but i fell asleep lmfao

Wounding Care *Fic Preview*
tw cursing, racism, past parent-child abuse, aging parent, dementia
It's present day, Neil is in his 80s. Billy is in his 50s.
Billy pulled into a slot at the Daylily Skilled Nursing facility and killed the engine. Picking at his lower lip he remained in the car, blankly staring out the windshield. God, he wished he had a cigarette right now, but he'd kicked the habit years ago. Eyeing the time on his watch, he sighed and pulled the keys from the ignition, opening the door. There was no getting around it. Going now was no better than going later.
Walking in, Billy smiled and signed in at the front desk. "Hello again Mr. Hargrove." The employee behind the desk greeted, "How've you been?" "It's Billy, remember?" he gently chided them as he rolled the title uncomfortably off his shoulders. "I'm fine. Where's the old man?" Billy asked, setting down the pen. The greeter checked their watch, "He might be in the day room. I think Cynthia was playing a few rounds of Gin Rummy with him not too long ago." Billy gave the desk a small pat and thanked them before heading off.
Walking into the large day room, Billy looked around. There were a handful of visitors. Children and grandbabies visiting. Residents were sitting with one another and having small conversations or playing cards or dominoes games. But he wasn't there. Billy sighed and shoved his hands in his jeans pockets and continued off down the hallways toward the resident's rooms. 133... 135... 136. The sound of the television could be heard from the hallway and a rough voice calling out after it.
Coming to rest in the doorway, Billy breathed in, watching the scene before him. At the edge of his recliner, the old man shook his fist at the LED screen TV on the wall. "How the hell could you miss that pass! Are you blind?" The game on-screen was old, one even Billy couldn't remember, and his father had games on all the time. "Who's playing?" Billy asked with a casual, but sound wrap of his knuckles on the open door. The man looked over at Billy suspiciously before answering. "Raiders... Bengals. '74." As Billy entered further into the room, the man's expression softened. "Oh, it's you. Well c'mon..." He impatiently waved a hand at Billy, "Sit down before you miss it. Stabler's really handing it to 'em."
Billy sunk down into the overstuffed armchair next to this man. His eyes wandered over that wrinkled face, the peppered mustache waggling back and forth, the brightness still in his eyes. Neil Hargrove. Billy sat and stared. Wondered to himself how he could ever get this close to this man. How things had changed so drastically over the years between them. How really everything had changed. "What's the matter?" Neil asked in concern, catching his eyes. Billy looked away reflexively, "Nothing."
Neil looked past Billy's shoulder at the hallway, voices catching his attention. A teen boy was passing by, his grandmother on his arm as they happily chatted and disappeared from view. Neil sighed, his shoulders drooping as he sunk back into his recliner, a sour expression creeping onto his lips. "What's wrong?" Billy asked, noticing the change. Neil shrugged, "I dunno, I guess I was hoping my son would visit." His eyes flitted to the doorway, "Don't know why. He never visits. Too damn busy." A stone sunk in Billy's gut as he turned his gaze back on the television.
Neil smiled fondly, patting Billy's hand, "You're a good friend Frank. No one else comes to see me. Just you."

Crewel found out about the fact that Yuu and Epel did NOT do ANYTHING after his words.
They ran away without warning for a Rook in STYX. To the secret centuries-old overblot research base!
Leaving Pomfiore unattended at all.
They made a complete rout there, led to the 6th overblott.
But they returned all the abducted, including the director.
THE WHOLE COLLEGE NOW THINKS THAT YUU IS SOME KIND OF UNKILLABLE TERRIBLY TENACIOUS SATAN.
(6 OVERBLOTS + A BUNCH OF DANGEROUS MAGIC BATTLES. AND THEY ARE STILL ALIVE!!)
It 's playing in his head -
"They said all teenagers scare the living shit out of me They could care less as long as someone'll bleed"
Divus - on the one hand I am very proud of this puppy, on the other I am terrified. What. the. hell??? Yuu meanwhile, barely standing on his feet - believe me, teacher .......I ask myself this question every time. In fact, I'm worried how Crewel will smash the Rook with his whip that he took two children (first-year students) to such a dangerous place and did not persuade them to return.
But first the Rook will be killed by Vil. AYVVLYJPLAJV
Vil - DID YOU BRING FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS WITH YOU?!AGAINST ROBOTS THAT DIDN'T CARE ABOUT MAGIC?!?
Rook - oh my beautiful Vil! even in a rage, you're beautiful!!!
Yuu hides Epel behind his back so that he doesn't get hurt either. - God rest your soul, Rook....

Riddle on Malleus's birthday interview - What would you really like to get?
Malleus thinks for a while and grins cheerfully - Hmm. And what would you prefer Rosehearts?~
Riddle ponders, carefully considering the answer - Strawberry pie? and I will try a lot of different sweets and cakes.
Malleus chuckles softly- How charming...Well, it will be...Heart.
Riddle freezes in place completely not understanding. - Huh?
Malleus is dreamily thinking about something - The heart is a Child of man...
Riddle petrified on the spot and rapidly turning pale "what the hell...?!?!"
***
Riddle returned to his dorm so pale that everyone thought that the poor dorm leader would have a stroke now.
Trey putting down his notebooks and pen and hurriedly approached Riddle - Riddle? Are you feeling unwell? Did something happen?
Cater - Malleus scared you?
Riddle snapped and was shaking in a wild panic - HE WANTS TO KILL THE PREFECT OF ONBORO AND TEAR OUT HIS HEART AS A TROPHY!!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM?!?
Trey and Cater are terrified - HE WANTS TO DO WHAT?!?
***
Ace and Deuce drag Yuu to their dorm - Boys, can you really explain what's going on?!
Deuce - we're saving your life!!
Ace - and forestall the murder!!
Yuu is completely confused - almost everyone in college tried to do this, why are you behaving like this right now?!
Ace - Draconia wants to rip out your heart!!!
Deuce - yes! He told the Rosehearts dorm leader about it!! He wants to take it as a trophy!!!
Yuu get even more confused - WHAT?!
Ace - You'll thank us later!
Yuu - You're nuts!!you couldn't clarify with him what exactly is the topic with "Heart"?!
Ace suddenly realizes how ambiguous "get a heart" sounds - I ESPECIALLY WON'T GIVE YOU TO THIS STRANGE GUY.I AM AGAINST THIS RELATIONSHIP!!
Yuu - you could just say you're jealous...

Yuu has a hoodie with a pocket. And Grimm makes full use of this pocket, like as well as this cute adorable white kitten marshmallow.

Yuu and cooking.
I am very interested in how, with a meager budget and a very hungry Grimm, does Yuu eat?
And also all these beautiful Korean food blogs are to blame. Please stop, I want to try it all now..
So my little story / fiction.
Sorry for the mistakes
A few weeks after arriving at TWST, Yuu realizes a very important thing.
She needs to learn how to cook something more diverse than scrambled eggs, toast and pancakes. And learn to calculate your budget more economically so that it is enough for the repair of the Onboro and for the terrifying appetite of the Grimm.
At first, Yuu tried to teach him that stealing food is bad. But it was a stupid idea considering how boring they had to eat and they had to listen to "rumbling concerts" because of Grimm's empty stomach.
She even had to work out a strategy not to go to lunch and dinner with the duo of Adeuce and Grimm. To attend and sit in the library all the time.
Yes, she had to cut her own food down to one meal. And stay on free fruits that can often be found in the cups of canteens.
(Toboso mentioned that such fruit cups are found in many private schools, plus the boys are growing up and always want something to eat.)
Because of this whole scheme, Yuu lost 8 kg in two months.
Crewel was the very first to notice that one of his puppies looks more pale and unhealthy. Of course, this could be attributed to adaptation and stress from the place and people.
But Trein also noticed that the student looks not very cheerful, but terrifying...exhausted when no one notices her. But he doesn't dare show it to anyone.
In addition, the old worn-out uniform that she got from Crowley definitely became a size bigger for her.
Crowley received a very clear "double warning" from both of them, and thus Yuu got a small scholarship.
The scholarship for Yuu was mandatory, as a child with no legal or legally registered relatives, and since she was in the care of the college, NRC received a small addition to the budget for her maintenance at the college.
Crowley didn't lose much money and was finally left alone by the angry stares of the teachers.
When Crewel volunteered to be the one handing over her weekly scholarship payment. Yuu thought at first that she had hit her head or a mistake had occurred. She didn't even have a birth certificate, let alone a simple mention of schooling.
You can argue with me, but the teachers are the secret parents-guardians of Yuu.
Crowley - plays the role of a distant relative who is always causing chaos. And thus Yuu was able to get a little more chances for her culinary skills. As well as funds for three meals a day. Let it not be high-class, but it was enough for her to quickly recover from her very harsh idea.

Developers and owners of the game. - Twisted Wonderland is not an otome-game.
Toboso Yana. - This is not otome-game.
Fans. -Yes. We understand that this is definitely not an otome game.
Malleus ABSOLUTELY ignores all this and subtly flirts with Yuu 24/7/365 (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
Yuu is very embarrassed with and charming blush -.....and no one told him about it????( 〃▽〃)
LOOK THIS
"Won't you check if there's any cream left on me? It would be quite tasteless to use magic to wipe off the "lucky gift" after all."
"Something I want? I can't think of any at once... But if you insist, maybe someone who will come with me to explore ruins together?"
"Oh, did you bring me a drink? Very well, then come sit next to me and be my conversation partner as well. Surely you won't refuse the main character for the day's request, won't you?"
"If you like the patch emblem for the Gargoyle Research Society, then you should join as well. So that you can wear the same thing."
I'M SERIOUS, THIS GUY WITH HIS BIRTHDAY LINES WANTS TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!
MALLEUS HAS BEEN CALLING YUU ON A DATE FOR THE SECOND YEAR TO LOOK AT THE RUINS. I NEED THIS EVENT, I SWEAR TO YOU.(」°ロ°)」 Yuu already owe him 11 dates?
Correct me if I'm wrong, last year on his birthday Malleus talked about 10 walks to see the ruins.
*cough*Private Audience of the Prince of Thorn Valley *cough*
I have two fears.
- Valentine's Day event
- Chapter 7. (Given the timing and how the other plot parts came out, we should find out the beginning at the end of this year. But these are just my assumptions.)

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth Genesis 1:1
Then God said Let there be lights in the vault of heaven! Let them separate the day from the night, let them mark the times, the days and the years, shine in the vault of the sky and give light to the earth! It happened that way. So God created the two great luminaries, the greater luminary to rule the day, and the lesser luminary to rule the night and the stars. He placed them in the firmament of heaven to give light to the earth, and to rule over the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And evening and morning were the fourth day Genesis 1:14-19
For when I look at the heavens, at the work of your hands, at the moon and the stars that you have made, what is man that you praise him, and what is the son of man that you visit him. Psalm 8:4-5
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament declares the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1
The word of the Lord made the heavens, the breath of his mouth all their hosts. Psalm 33:6
The heavens are yours and the earth is yours, you made the roundness of the earth and everything that is on it. Psalm 89:12
In the beginning you created the earth, and the heavens are the works of your hands. They pass away, but you remain; Like clothes, they all get old, you change them like clothes and they change. Psalm 102:26-27
Whatever He wills, the Lord can do everything in heaven, on earth, in sea and in all depths. Psalm 135:6
He who is enthroned above the globe, whose inhabitants are like locusts; who spreads out the heavens like a veil, and stretches them out like a tent for a dwelling place. Isa 40:22
Thus says the Lord God, who created and stretched out the heavens, who established the earth, and what springs from it; who gives breath to the people on it and soul to those who walk on it. Isaiah 42:5
I made the earth, and I created man on it; my hand stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their armies. Isaiah 45
This is what the Lord says: I clothe the sky with mourning and cover it with sackcloth. Isaiah 50,1.3
Oh Lord God! Behold, you made the heavens and the earth with your great power and your outstretched arm; nothing is impossible for you. Jeremiah 32:17
He who made the earth by his power, established the earth by his wisdom, and stretched out the heavens by his understanding, Jeremiah 1:15

Sam and Cas are best buds. Besties, if you will. But they're the type to point at random objects (i.e. a broken pencil in the middle of the street) and go, "That's so you." Cas said, "You touch a hair on his head and you die" like he's not the one who purposefully messes up Sam's hair after he's meticulously gelled it just because it makes Dean laugh and Sam squak at him. Sam is the type to put salt in people's coffee. Every once in a while, just when he thinks he'll never have to taste liberally salted coffee ever again, Cas takes a sip from his "Sam's Favorite Assbutt" mug with a giant picture of Sam with his hair in a man-bun on it and absolutely fucking freezes. Sam thinks this is the height of comedy, he's a genius, brilliant. In return, Cas zaps him to Croatia with a note that says "You're hubris is amusing." written on the palm of his hand. Dean thinks this is hilarious. And terrifying. He asks Cas where Sam is one morning, and he says "Greece." with no emotion in his voice. Like it's totally normal. "I thought he'd enjoy the pastitios," Cas says with an evil smile.
It is 7 in the morning. It is 7 in the morning.

Imagine a modern geraskier au where Jaskier and Geralt own a nice little house and a lawn and all that jazz and Jaskier is overly picky about his flowers and his garden and whatnot, so he makes Geralt help him with the yard work instead of hiring someone to do it like "normal celebrities do" (as Yen said with an eye roll) which results in many paparazzi photos of the two of them just. Mowing the fucking lawn. Cutting back the shrubs. Trimming the rose bushes and fertilizing the pumpkins. It's the most bizarre thing to happen to Hollywood since Jake Gyllenhaal said he doesn't shower. One day Jaskier is sick and they have Ciri for the week and he needs to do yard work, it hasn't been done since last week god forbid, and Ciri steps up and is like "Don't worry father dear. I will help with the yard work." which then results in Jaskier posting the most vile, suburban mom photos to all of his socials of Geralt and Ciri doing yard work. Just the most sickening, yet endearing grandma behavior that is possible in a thirty year old man. He's so proud of his darling little girl and his amazing husband, he really is. He starts a livestream and he's just sobbing while watching Horrible Histories and gushing about Geralt and Ciri. Everyone is Fed Up With Him.

more comprehensive analysis + statistics breakdown under the cut (warning: long)
of course this number is meaningless since i feel like spotify keeps redefining their genre categories every year
welsh rock at #3 lets goooo (the "cymraeg" genre was only #4 for me last year, and all the welsh-language music i listen to is welsh rock and vice versa)
thank god "metropopolis" isnt on there this year that was embarrassing . i miss punk being on the list tho
~946 hours, or ~3.11 hours per day (assuming collection period was jan 1 to oct 31)
~16219 songs assuming average song length of 3.5 minutes, ~53 songs a day
yeah.
(i think april was def the peak of my club 57 hyperfixation)
56,768 minutes listened = ~39 minutes per song, or ~11 plays per song
last.fm stats as of nov 30:
club 57: 352 plays run into trouble: 219 y bardd o montreal: 128 bike dream: 135 (only song on the list that i never put on loop -- its just Like That <3) boy division: 117 (paradis disparu by sŵnami was actually tied with boy division i believe -- last.fm says ive played it 119 times and i know for sure 2 of those times were in the last month)
bike dream is still in my november playlist whereas y bardd o montreal isnt, which explains the extra few plays that it's gathered since spotify stopped collecting data
oh boy what will it be....
(56,768 minutes = ~123 minutes per artist, or ~35 songs per artist; 1,454 songs = ~3 unique songs per artist)
what a surprise
(my top artist every year since i got spotify in 2018 -- it feels like my number of minutes listened drops every year but i just looked back on my old wrappeds and it's actually been rising (more than double the 2020 number) even though they make up a smaller percentage of my overall music)
apparently i was right on the cusp of making the top 0.005% like i did last year -- one of my friends listened to them for around 6k minutes and made 0.005%
(~10.2% of my overall time, ~5.8 songs a day (using 3.25 as average song length since their newer songs have been getting shorter))
yeah okay okay jeez i get it . i know
only listened to matt maeson these last couple months after he dropped his new album so im glad he made the list
last.fm stats as of nov 30:
bastille: 1816 plays mcr: 1200 the wombats: 937 matt maeson: 849 rostam: 797
i was scared of mcr beating bastille this year but yeah they werent even close
this feels pretty accurate -- certainly applies to my listening habits for bastille, matt maeson, and sŵnami off the top of my head. i rlly love seeing what all my friends got for this one <3

You know, I think Lucius might be the most badass character in the entire series so far? I mean:
1. Jim is about to stab him in the face, so he distracts them long enough to whack them on head and escape
2. Convinces Jim to stop trying to kill him by stealing a dagger from a vicious pirate who keeps a jar of severed noses
3. Izzy Hands *tries* to put the fear of god into him and he responds with ‘you want to fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid’ and outwits him by being nice to Fang and learning Izzy’s secrets
4. *Cuts off his own goddamned finger* in a delirious haze, winning the game of fuckery
5. Tells motherfucking Blackbeard to stop being a dick

Micah 5:1-7:20, Revelation 7:1-17, Psalms 135:1-21, Proverbs 30:5-6
Today is the 16th day of December welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian and it is great to be here with you like every day, wonderful to have a place to come around the Global Campfire and be together and move forward together. And moving forward today doesn't lead us into any brand-new territory. We will complete the book of Micah in the Old Testament and continue our journey forward in the book of Revelation in the New Testament. And, yup, there will be some discussion about what we’re reading in Revelation at the very, very end, As I mentioned a good many times, several years ago we took that path and stuck with Revelation and kind of…what I realized was we had to basically skip the minor prophets and that so much territory. And, so, I went back and found those and so I'm kind of composting what we talked about in Revelation at the very end after the prayers. And, so, that'll be there. But right now, we are here. And, so, let's dive in and take the next step forward. We’re reading from the English Standard Version. This week Micah 5, 6, and 7 today.
Commentary:
Okay. So, as we complete the book of Micah it comes at a really really good time because there's some things in Micah that not only really speak to the time of year that it is, but also to our…our very lives. One of the great existential questions that we ask ourselves, whether we form it as a question and make it words or whether it's just this kind of inner thought is, what does God really want from me? It's an interesting question to explore at this time of year because so many of us are trying to get so many of the people that we love what they want. In fact, we may be so focused on that and so focused on how to pay for all of that, etc. etc. that we don't even think about what God might want. What does God want? But from the book of Micah before we can get to what God wants, we have to consider what he does not want. But really before we can even get to that we have to begin with a very said question coming from God. “Oh, my people”, God says, “what have I done to you? How have I wearied you? Answer me.” The interesting thing about those questions are that we don't normally think of God asking that kind of stuff. How have I made you weary? What have I done to you? We can see ourselves saying that to God, what I done to you? And in the passage, He’s saying. “Oh, my people”. He’s talking to everybody. But if we personalize it, which every time I come through this passage, that's how I read it. Oh Brian, what have I done to you? How have I wearied you? Answer me. And it just makes me reflect back over a year of ups and downs like life is and victories and also valleys. And, so, wonderful times of adoration and worship, but also times of complaining. So, this is a convicting passage because in so many ways it's as if God were asking like, what else do I have to do to show you that there is a way and I love you and I will lead you if you would follow me, if you could obey me. And even in Micah, God, right after He says, how have I wearied you, He says things that He's done. I brought you up from the land of Egypt, I redeemed you from the house of slavery. I sent you Moses and Aaron and Miriam, I sent you leaders. And then he says, remember what Balak king of Moab devised. And we remember Balak and Balaam. And Balaam was summoned to curse the Israelites at the insistence of King Balak and he couldn't curse God's people, but he did tell Balak what he could do, which was to seduce them away from God. Each one of us could hear a list of our own of the things that God has done that we should be profoundly grateful for. And, so, just to even think of him saying, what have I done to you, that’s pretty sad. And it reads that way because it's supposed to read that way. That's where we’re being led because then Micah immediately sort of in response to God saying, what have I done to you and the realization that what God has done to and for us has been for and to our good. And, so, in response, Micah’s saying essentially like what does God want? What can we give him back? What are the expectations? And, so, I quote from Micah. ““With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” And of course, it's not what He wants. And then we find out what He does want. “He has told you O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you, to do justice, and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God.” There it is. Like, clear as it could possibly be coming out of the pages of the Bible what God wants, that we would do what we know is right, that we would act justly, that we would love mercy. And its just in the last couple of days we were talking about how merciless we can be. He wants us to love mercy, and He wants us to walk humbly with Him. This is such a good time for us to begin to contemplate these things, not only in our immediate behaviors with those that are all around us in a crazy holiday season, but this becomes at a time of year when bigger thoughts are arising. Our rhythm is disrupted. We’re moving in all kinds of directions but we are ultimately moving to the new beginning of a brand-new year. And, so, to carry with us into the brand-new year what God wants as a baseline is so helpful. And it's not beyond our reach. It simply requires our vigilant self-control. He wants us to do what we know is right. He wants us to act justly in every way, in a macro level, in…in a way that governance is done in cities and states and countries, nations, kingdoms all around the world, but on a more micro personal level in our own lives. Be just. Bring justice. Act justly and to love mercy. We love mercy when it is bestowed upon us. We don't always love it when we’re required to offer it. We’re supposed to love it and to walk humbly with God, to be aware of his ongoing pervasive continual presence in our lives, to be aware of it, to know that He has invited us to collaborate to be a part of His story to love our brothers and sisters in His name. This life-changing. As simple as it is, this is life changing stuff if it is the way that our lives are going, if this is where we are aiming our lives - to pay attention to this, to walk humbly with God, to love mercy, to act justly. And, so, cheesy as it might be a in terms of trying to think of what we’re going to wrap up and put under the tree for God, at least we know what He wants. And we can give it to Him, even if that means we have to sacrifice a little, sacrifice a little of our pride, sacrifice a little of our arrogance, sacrifice a little bit of our indifference, or sacrificing all kinds of cash to get everybody else what they want. This isn’t going to cost any money. It’s not that it's not going to cost, but it's not going to cost us any money and can and will change our very lives. So, let's consider that today as we continue forward into this blessed joyous season that we are in, heading toward Christmas.
Prayer:
Father, we love You, we adore You, and we are convicted by what we are seeing in Micah today. We do love You. We worship You. We do adore You. But we are also confronted by the ways that our selfishness and self-absorption rears its ugly head in our lives. But we think of the questions that You asked through Micah - what have I done to You, how if I made You weary, what have I done to make You tired of me? The answer Lord is nothing. It's on us and we know it and just the question being asked from Your lips is so convicting. You have provided for our every need, and we are here because of Your mercy and grace in our lives. May we make some changes so that we begin to realize that we are worshiping You by the way that we love one another and take care of one another, by the way that we act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You. Holy Spirit, come and let this sink deeply into our consciousness and into our spirit, that we may make changes that we can make and surrender to You in the ways that we cannot make these changes, knowing that You are in the process of transforming us. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
This is Protected by His Wings in Tennessee. This prayer is for…the Lords laid it on my heart to pray for those that don't ask for help, who don't call in requesting prayer requests, who maybe as a child asked for help and didn't get it. Maybe they have an alcoholic mom or a drug addicted father and they had to bathe themselves and fix themselves breakfast and they had to take care of their siblings and get them dressed for school and make sure they got on the school bus and they didn't do any extracurricular activities because they the parent was too drunk to get him to school or they had to make sure they had to get their mom cleaned up from the vomit before their dad got home or who would be injured and their parent was…was too drugged out to help them and get them to the hospital. This prayer is for you whether you are that child or whether you were that child. Dear heavenly Father, we pray for those who feel abandoned, who feel alone, who feel unloved. Dear Lord, as I spent my 52nd birthday with my mom not calling me because she was too drunk, I chose joy because God You have blessed me immensely and given me a life beyond measure with peace and hope and joy. And that's thanks to You sending Your son to die for my sins. Dear lord give everyone out there who hears my voice Your hope in Jesus’ name.
I have a 26-year-old child that's nonverbal autistic that I have placed…which is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life…placed him in the care of a state facility which is Brenham Supportive State Living Center. I need…I need much prayer. He has behavior issues. He is nonverbal. He has good cognition but poor expression. I need everybody that has no idea how difficult this is…I need prayer. I really need prayer. This child is my life and I want him back home. Have you ever heard the phrase it takes a village? Sometimes it takes a village. This is that scenario.
Hi this is Victoria Soldier just calling to pray for some of the DABbers. I wanted to say Merry Christmas and wanted to give you life and favor to everyone, those that are really going through, my precious sister who called the other day and was crying and she just didn't feel like she could hold on any longer because during these times a lot of things come to your mind because there's a little more time at home and with the COVID. But I want to pray for my precious sister. I didn't remember her name. And I also want to pray for God's Gal in Minnesota. I want to pray for Carol in New Brunswick. I wanna pray for all of…I want to pray for that husband and wife who wanted to have a baby and pray that God open up her womb like he did like he did Sarah and give them the baby that He has a special purpose for, a special purpose for them to raise in the way of the Lord. I just ask you to continue to pray for all of the people. Pray for Blind Tony and Joe the Protector and for those…those young people who are going to school and being bullied and even those in the prison. Gracious Father we just ask You to have Your way. You're a God of all grace and mercy and truth. We just ask You to heal those that've been going through cancer. Father, we just ask You to deliver. We just ask You to strengthen those that are going through, those that have lost loved ones and don't know how…don't have the strength. You say that when we're weak You are strong and Lord we ask You to strengthen them. We asked You to guide them. We ask You to give them life and favor. O, Father somebody today that don't know which way to go somebody…
Dear DAB family this is your sister Ashley from California. And y'all, I just wanna say that it is such a blessing to be a part of this community, especially this time of year. And Brian and everybody on here that puts this together, thank you guys for faithfully taking care of this and helping us to continue on and press on to finish this and finish it well. And for those of you who are struggling, guys just keep…do what you can. God sees us and He…He knows exactly what we need to hear right at the right time. But I just wanted to come on here and I wanted to see thank you Brian for the blessing of teaching at the end of Revelation at the end about Revelation. So often when I read revelation it just…it goes so fast, and I am not able to catch it and really apply it. So, I just wanted to say thank you for that. It is a butt kicker. I feel like it is doing the burpees of the Bible as far as like spiritual development but it is a blessing because even though you may not like it and they're not fun it helps you become stronger. So, I just wanted to say thank you for that. And I am just so grateful you guys because with the DAB this is now my fifth time finishing a Bible and this year was so special because I got to read halfway through with my grand mommy before she passed away. And it has helped keep me going as my son Jackson has had his ALL Leukemia. So, I love you DAB family and bye.
Hello, this is Glen from Orlando. I'm saying a prayer for my brother who says he lost his job and he can't provide for his family and he's on unemployment and his money is running out. I just want to give you some advice, having been there myself. Give it to God. Pray like it's already been done. God will give you that job that you're looking for. He's done it for me so many times in the past where I've felt the exact same way. You can get through this. Fall into the arms of Jesus and let Him give you peace. Then when he does give you that job you'll know it was a miracle and you can praise and glorify His name. God bless you, my brother. I'm praying for you.
Deep Dive into the book of Revelation:
Part 4
Okay. So, let's take a quick look at what we read in Revelation today. As I said when we began this book, its interpretations are many. And that's a gross understatement. And these interpretations in no way agree with each other in a lot of cases because we have lots of complexity in prophetic utterances and in symbolism and no way to concretely determine time. So, our goal here isn't to interpret every nuance of the book of Revelation, or any of the associated Old Testament visions and apocalyptic prophecies that exist. We’re just trying look at things as we go along to keep ourselves rooted in the story and have a bit of context so that we can engage with the text. So, there were seven seals and Jesus, depicted by John as a lamb, was able to open these seven seals. And we've seen six of them, opened. Four of those seals represented horsemen and their riders who were tasked with unleashing unrest upon the earth. The fifth seal had to do with those who had been killed for holding on to their faith, martyrs. And the sixth seal seems to depict the end of the cosmos as we know it. So, we’re expecting this seventh seal but that's not what we get today. We will get to the seventh seal, but what we have today is a discussion on people who are sealed. So, we had these four horsemen that were sent into the earth and then as we began today's reading, we have four angels who are standing at the four corners of the earth restraining the four winds of the earth. And most scholars would agree, this…this is symbolism that is meant to show that they have power over the earth. And then another angel rises up from the East and…and mentions that the earth or the sea of the trees shouldn't be harmed until the servants of God are sealed, that the seal of God will be placed on their foreheads. And the number of those to be sealed are 144,000, 12,000 each from the named tribes of Israel but the tribe of Dan and the tribe of Ephraim are omitted…are omitted from this list. And it gets…it…It gets pretty complicated here, this hundred 144,000. You’ve probably heard of the 144,000 in a lot of ways before. And there's a wide range of speculation among scholars, and entire church denominations have been formed out of interpreting this. So, if you take a literal view of the book of Revelation then 144,000 people, 12,000 people exactly from specific tribes will get the seal of Christ. And these are all ethnic Jewish people who know the tribes that they come from, which would be rather complicated because when the northern kingdom, the kingdom of Israel, the 10 tribes there were taken into exile by Assyria, they’re lost, like they’re lost to history. And when the southern kingdom, which would be Benjamin and Judah, were taken into exile by Babylon, they were eventually able to go back and they were paying close attention to the Levites, like to the priestly tribe. But tribal identity was mostly lost. So, if John is talking about ethnic Jews then then it's complicated. And if we were taking a presentist attitude interpretation, like this is all happening or this is about to happen then it's kinda complicated to find 12,000 ethnic Jews who know the tribe that they are from in this day and age, and it would be equally is difficult to find 144,000 ethnic Jews who live in modern-day Israel who are believers in Jesus. The number’s more like 10% of that. Just for a little perspective I mean, there are mega churches in the world that contain more people who are professing to be followers of Jesus than all of the believers who live in modern-day Israel put together. And for those who don't take 144,000 as a literal number, some would say that this represents all ethnic Israel, all those who are ethnically Jewish will be saved at Christ's second coming, while others would say the 144,000 isn’t a literal number. It's a figurative number and it represents all who will be sealed, the people of God and the formation of a new and true Israel. And I'm…I'm not gonna upack that conflict right now. Like, we’ll wait until we get into Paul's letters next year because it would take us down a bunny trail that would take way too long. So, I think it's safe to say that most but not all scholars do not take this 144,000 number to be a literal number with exactly 12,000 people from specific tribes. Like this is more of a figurative speech representing God's true people. And part of that comes from what comes next. So, we have this 12,000 from all of these tribes numbering 144,000, and we get to the end of that. And then John says after this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the lamb and they were robbed in white with palm branches in their hands. So, if the number’s just 144,000 then the next thing we know we have people without number. No one can number them. So, more than 144,000 which leads some scholars to say, okay there’s 144,000 and those people are being sealed in this time of testing, this tribulation, and they’re the remnant army of God. And then we move to this other visionary experience, where the host of heaven, all the souls standing before God and before the Lamb, from every nation, tribe and tongue are standing before God. And we can easily think these are the ones that had been martyred, but that's not the…then the ones that are martyred aren’t talked about here. So, who is this throng of people dressed in white if they’re not the 144,000 and they’re not the martyrs? So, we get an answer that as we read along. One of the elders, so one of the 24 elders asks John who they are. Who are the people robbed in white? Where did they come from? And, so, John's like, sir, you know. So, he’s saying like, you would know but I don't know. And, so, the elder tells him. These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. So, these are the ones that stay true. And some interpret this as that these are the true children of God descended from Abraham. God's promise to Abraham was that he would multiply their descendants and they wouldn't be able to be numbered. So, these are the children of God who have come out of the great tribulation. So, if we’re interpreting this futuristically then there is a great tribulation to come that's can be very, very, very difficult on the earth, but if we’re a little more pragmatic in our interpretation then tribulation has been around a while and Christian specific tribulation has been around since Jesus. And enduring that and growing strong because of it and allowing it to shape us and build character and make us true is part of the metanarrative of the New Testament. Either way, this throng of people from every tribe and nation and tongue are before the Lord and they have washed their robes and they have become white, and they have washed them in the blood of the Lamb. So, to look at this literally would present some challenges. Like if…if you wash a robe in blood, it's not going to come out white. And where did they get these robes in the first place? And…and where can one acquire one of these robes, it becomes difficult to make literal. Symbolically, the interpretations are that, you know, those who wash their robe in the blood of the Lamb, and it comes out white, that is representing the ongoing work of sanctification, the process of becoming pure and clean and Christ like, which requires endurance and perseverance and all the things that we’ve been talking about all year. And for those people, beautiful, beautiful imagery is given. These people serve God, day and night in His sanctuary in His presence. And the one seated on the throne will shelter them and they won't hunger anymore, and they won't thirst anymore, and the sun won't beat down on them and strike them anymore and…and…and heat won't hurt them anymore because Jesus the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will shepherd them. He will guide them to springs of living waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And I think that is beautiful no matter how you're looking at this book, no matter how you're interpreting this. It's a beautiful picture that in the end there is God's presence and things are as they should be, and nothing is lost and there is no lack, and tears will be wiped away by God himself, which is where we end today in the book of Revelation,
Prayer:
Father, once again we’re inviting you to speak through all that we’re reading in your word and we’re taking it all in and inviting you. And it is our hearts desire to be one in that wrong with people from every tribe and nation and tongue. We want to be one of them and we have the clear picture that we must endure and that we must remain true and that our lives can’t be spent just trying to be one in that throng but one of many that you were able to reach and love and rescue because you were able to work through us. Come Holy Spirit. Give us the eyes and the ears of the kingdom. May we each be responsible for a great cloud of witnesses celebrating before your throne. Come Jesus we pray. In your holy name we ask. Amen.

The magic of white witches in tvd. Freya slept for a thousand years and woke up super powerful without a struggle to perform a spell or even having some self-loathing due to her history with Dahlia.
As for Davina who faces a lot of similar struggles Bonnie did. But she gets her “fuck you, this my agency moment..”
Meanwhile we had to watch Bonnie physically be in pain when it came to performing harder spells. Not including her dying every season. Every black witch that was in the show eventually had some traumatic death on-screen that was never addressed.
Every time someone likes my older posts/asks I have more to add each time.

My #1 post of 2022
A rough draft of an excerpt that belongs to this au:
“Good morning,” Bonnie whispered, peeping her head out on the back porch. Of course, this is where Klaus would be. Sitting on the deck, listening to the birds chirp while chatting with their daughter. “I was wondering where you two went. You know I hate the silence of a empty room.”
Klaus was rocking an active two-month old Hazel. “Sorry, my love, the littlest witch had awoken and I couldn’t resist. She’s exquisite company.” After easing the infant gently inside her bassinet. Klaus’ sped from the rocking chair and back with Bonnie on his lap.
Klaus could list a heavy amount of things he missed with Hope. All of her firsts went to Rebekah. On and off fighting with Hayley upon Hope’s return. Missing four years of her life from Marcel’s prison. Now, he’s adding onto that time because of the hollow. Those are secrets and anguish from another life that he will hold until he can properly explain it to Bonnie.
“Sometimes I still can’t believe she’s real.” Bonnie replied, resting on Klaus’ torso as she holds Hazel in her arms examining her features as usual. She’d never be this tiny again. Brown skin, just like her mother’s. Green eyes inherited from her great-grandfather on her mother’s side. Maybe, the next will take up after Klaus.
“Yes, I carried her for months. Made plans with you for her nursery. The shopping—but that doesn’t matter! She’s here and perfect. Is it weird that everything I’ve ever done seems insignificant compared to her? I always wanted a full home so I didn’t feel alone.”
“No,” Klaus said, admiring the warmth that filled his body watching Hazel smile and coo back at her mother. “You were always saving the day. That doesn’t mean because you saved the day it gave you joy. Hazel, was and is your choice.”
Now that held some truth. Servant of nature is what a witch was supposed to be. Not everyone could be a Bennett witch even if Bonnie willingly gave her powers up.
“Caroline and Stefan emailed me. They want me to write the real history on Bennett witches for the boarding school.” Bonnie shrugged, lowering Hazel down to her breast to feed. While Klaus tugged her tank-top off her shoulder. “While Alaric is requesting talismans and other Bennett artifacts to show the students.”
“And, you don’t want that at all.” Klaus said, raising a brow. Not that he blamed her. A Bennett grimoire and a vial of blood in the wrong hands suddenly becomes a wild card for a supernatural.
“Absolutely not.” Bonnie agreed, cradling the curly head of her daughter. “I don’t think anyone else is deserving to write my family’s history but me.” She declared. “Giving up Bennett artifacts just sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Pictures exist for a reason.”
Kissing at Bonnie’s temple. “They could make a statue in your honor. I think that is just as fitting.”
“It is, since I’m the reason Mystic Falls isn’t a wiped out town on the map. A statue and plaque should’ve been made when the school was.”
“I could build one for you in our backyard,” Klaus remarks. “Right, in the center.”
“Can we put a raincheck on that statue? There’s a ritual Bennett witches perform after an infant is born. We do it during celestial events. I never had mine but I need Hazel to have hers. She’ll be sheltered by the spirits in all ways.”
Klaus’ eyes go wide for a moment. “I wasn’t aware those occurred. Ayana had four daughters and never practiced those.”
“You didn’t know she did those. It’s really private event. Witches of the past and present attend. The bloodline wants each off-spring prepared. All our daughter has to do is show up and be cute.”
“We can do anything you want.” Klaus agrees. Hope never had a coven of witches to shelter her upon birth and accept her immediately with open arms. If the ritual is performed on Hazel that can restrict the Hallow or anyone else for that matter from chasing after the Bennett’s.
“Our daughter should meet my wolf form.“ Klaus blurts out after.
“I think she’d like that.”

Remember what Alicent told Aegon in episode 6?
If Rhaenyra comes into power, your very life could be forfeit. Aemond’s as well. She could move to cut off any challenge to her succession.
Alicent’s been consumed by paranoia because she feared that Rhaenyra will kill her children if she become queen, that’s why she usurped her throne. And then the first thing that happens in the first season is Alicent’s own adult son murdering Lucerys, a 14 year old boy.
If anything, Rhaenyra’s the one who should be more afraid. Because while she was the princess, Alicent is the queen; who’s making Rhaenyra’s life hell for 10 years just to humiliate her, hence why she moved to Dragonstone.
Rhaenyra tried to keep the peace, like her father once did, even after the greens steal her throne, but they forced her hand.
The greens drew the first blood, not the blacks.

Upgrade, my ass.
The lake rushed up with terrible speed. Then Daemon Targaryen, who had never fastened his riding chains, stood in his saddle. He leapt from his dragon to Aemond’s and in his hand was Dark Sister, the Valyrian sword of Aegon’s sister-queen, Visenya. As Aemond One-Eye looked up in terror, Daemon ripped off his nephew’s helm and drove the sword down into his one remaining eye so hard, the point came out the back of the young prince’s throat. — Oberyn Martell, Histories & Lore: The Dance of Dragons

Okay, Alicent. The last shred of sympathy I have for you is GONE. Yes, Alicent is a victim of her father’s abuse but she is now doing the abuse herself.
Rhaenyra just gave birth in this scene yet Alicent only cares about her own agenda; to humiliate Rhaenyra by forcing the princess to present the child to her in a fragile state. Why not see the child for herself? Jeez. Rhaenyra didn’t do this kind of thing to Alicent while she was pregnant with Aegon nor Helaena nor her other children.
I like that Laenor is there for Rhaenyra, but I wish Daemon was there to punch Alicent in the face or raise some hell. Seriously.

This is Faith. The new muse i’ve been working on. Like I said, i’m still not done with her Backstory, so the only thing available on her page right now is a Summary, and a link to some Extra Details I included.
Honestly I am excited about putting so much effort into her. I feel really good about this.

Oh shit, I forgot to upload this. Oops. I uh, tried drawing Death in the style of Faith: The Unholy Trinity. Sorry if it doesn’t look that good.
Edit: Decided to do a bit of a touchup with the picture to make it look better! I admit the more I look at it the more I realize I did a good job.

Continued from Here! @valorxdrive
She tenses up slightly as that golden color lights up the area around her, looking for the source of it as the beam of light suddenly appears in front of her, the grip she had on her Keyblade tightening as she quickly pockets the small device she was holding. The aura was comforting, strengthening even, but she still felt slightly on edge. An old instinct, to be cautious of the Light.
And then she hears his voice, seeing the vague form of a person begin to show through the light as it diminished around him. Complimenting her for how well she fought. She watches as the light evaporates and he fully forms, first taking notice of his friendly demeanor, which manages to put her at ease, letting her Keyblade dissipate from her hand for now. He had certainly gotten across that he was different as well, in his own way. Though she couldn’t help but feel a bit surprised that he didn’t seem to react to the fact that she and the Heartless she fought looked similar to eachother.
“I uh, just happened to be in the neighborhood.” She replies, a hint of nervousness in her voice as she rests her hands in the pockets of her cloak. Truth was that it wasn’t just coincidence that she happened to be here to fight off Heartless. It might be easy for Sora to pick up on the fact she wasn’t telling him the truth, as she didn’t have a lot of experience with lying.
She can’t help but look around once more, making sure there weren’t any other Heartless in the vicinity. “...Your Heart’s like a lighthouse with how much Light is in it, by the way. I can sense it just by standing in front of you.” She admits, before turning to face him once more. “I’m Faith. Who are you?” She asks, offering a hand for him to shake.

This old guy has spent $135 on the SAME CAKE today.
He emailed us at like 6am asking for a cake, then placed an online order. Called us at 10am (when we open) to be like hey I accidentally ordered my cake for next year so I need to order another one (we still could have made the first cake just fine)
So we get his order and do it, have it waiting. Couple hours later he calls again and asks if we can deliver because his buddy can't pick it up. I say no, he says oh wait can I just order it on doordash? I tell him it's more expensive but he doesn't care.
So now he technically has a $90 credit with the store, but god knows if it'll ever be used -_-

Wounding Care
tw cursing, racism and use of a slur, past parent-child abuse, aging parent, dementia
At the edge of his recliner, the old man shook his fist at the LED screened TV on the wall.
Too damn busy." A stone sank in Billy's gut as he turned his gaze back on the television.
Neil smiled fondly, patting Billy's hand, "You're a good friend Frank. No one else comes to see me. Just you."
Billy swallowed thickly, it was happening again. Neil leaned over in his chair, "Tell me, how's the wife? Your kids causing you any trouble? Hey!" He snapped his fingers happily, "Wanna smoke?" Neil reached a hand into the breast pocket of his shirt, confusion overtaking his expression as he withdrew an empty hand. He quickly patted down the sides of his chair and checked the end table before his eyes fixated on someone out in the hall.
"You see that!" He pointed feverishly. "What?" Billy asked, turning his head. Neil pointed an accusing finger at the nurse in the hall as she pulled a cigarette carton from her pocket and walked away. "You see!" He nearly cried, "That woman is always stealing from me! You can't trust anybody!" He shook his head with vigor, as he clasped Billy's hand, "I don't like the type of people that hang around here..." Billy sighed, looking at his father's hand, "They're just trying to help you." Neil snatched his hand back and crossed his arms angrily. "Yeah... help themselves."
The pair fell silent, letting the din from the football game fill the space. A knock on the door grabbed Billy's attention. "Billy?" There was a nurse at the door. "Do you have a moment to talk?" Billy looked at his father's sullen expression before nodding and rising from his chair. "I'll be right back," he promised.
Leaving the room, Billy followed them to the nurse's station at the end of the hall. "Billy how are you doing lately?" they started. He hated this question. It was all fluff and filler. Like anyone here gave a shit. "Fine. What's going on?" Billy cut to the chase. The nurse pulled a file off the desk and flipped it open, "We're renewing client treatment plans as a part of the annual continuation of care contracts, and as you are your father's legal guardian..." The nurse let the sentence hang in the air as they handed Billy the paperwork to look over.
"Does anything need to even change?" Billy asked, flipping between one page and the other. None of this hardly ever made much sense to him. He just needed everything to work. The nurse opened an iPad and logged into the patient portal. "Well, your father has been doing quite well since he joined us here last year following his stroke." They scrolled through some information, "However, over the past few months, there have been noted symptoms of vascular dementia. You've seen this too yes?"
Billy absentmindedly chewed on his thumb, eyes glancing back down the hall. There had been signs. Increasing frequencies of forgetfulness. Even more frequent outbursts (than typical) of anger. And losing memories... not remembering. Forgetting who Billy was. Forgetting that Max existed. And Susan. They had been to the neurologist, and it wasn't looking good.
"So what're you gonna change?" Billy asked quietly.
A loud crash at the opposite end of the hall put a pause on the conversation. Billy felt a sick sensation twist through him in recognition as he turned on his heel and ran toward the commotion.
At the opposite end of the hallway, in front of an exit door, Neil was being held back by a group of staff. "Get your hands off me you damn wetbacks! You can't keep me here!" He yelled. "I demand to speak to your supervisor! Si, comprende?!" He was attempting to push through them and reach the door as Billy arrived.
"Hey... hey. It's ok. Just take a breath." Billy coaxed, stepping up and trying to calm him down. Neil was fuming as he looked Billy in the eyes. "You!" He jabbed a finger at him. "You're behind this? I should've known. Billy." Neil spoke his name with distaste. "Always ruining things!"
Billy looked at his father shocked. "You know who I am?" Neil scoffed, "Course I do!" he looked around at the nursing staff, and then smacked Billy square in the chest with a semi-closed fist. Billy winced instinctively, but the blow didn't hold even a fraction of the power that it used to.
Neil's temper was rising. "You did this to me! You had me hauled in here!" Billy was taken aback, hurt. "I didn't do anything to you!" he swore in anguish. "I wanna go home. You're taking me home. Do you understand me?" Neil demanded. "Yeah..." Billy was breathing heavily, his heart racing. The face staring at him was aged, but Billy felt like he was 14 again. It was taking everything he had to keep his grasp on reality.
"But, do you know where home is?" Billy posed feebly. Neil grit his teeth, his face reddening, "Don't be stupid! California!" "We're in Columbus...," Billy corrected half-heartedly. Neil stepped in close to Billy, his nostrils flaring, "Don't tell me where I am!" The man ground out low. Billy tensed.
The situation was quickly falling out of control, and Billy could feel it slipping through his fingers like fine grains of sand in an hourglass turned backwards.
"Look... Lets, let's just go home. Ok?" Billy pleaded with his father. Neil shoved him, "You are such a disappointment!" The words were biting. Each syllable ripped off the bone by sharp jagged teeth and spat back at Billy with as much force as ever. "Always have been, always will be. Worthless!"
He shoved Billy again, harder. "You're trying to put me away? Hurt me?" He questioned with malice. "I haven't seen you for years! And now you show up? Huh?" Neil continued to shove, forcing Billy with all the weight his aged body could muster. "This is how you repay me?!" Neil yelled as he brought a resounding open palm across Billy's face. "Huh? Answer me, boy!"
Neil grabbed Billy by the shirt, the staff panicking and swarming around the elderly man. Billy was finding it hard to breathe. He needed to get a grip on himself. It was awful, but it couldn't get much worse. "C-can you take..." Billy huffed, "Take him back to his room. Please."
"Come back here!" Neil screamed, as a pair of large nurses forcibly helped him back to his room. "Billy?! Billy!" His raucous voice rang in the hall.
Billy faltered, his feet tripping, until his back finally hit solid mass, sinking down the nearby wall. He finally caved. A great shattering sob wracking his body, as he collapsed to the ground. The nurses had left. The spectacle was over. The storm had passed.
Great rolling tears fell from Billy's eyes, as he attempted to calm himself, only causing the river to run deeper. It wasn't going to stop until nothing was left. Billy startled at a hand suddenly on his shoulder, a young nurse standing over him with a plastic cup of water in her hand. She withdrew with a regretful look on her face. "Shit, I'm sorry... I uh, thought you could use a glass of water." Billy wiped his hand flat along his face, hoping to stifle the torrent. He nodded weakly and reached for the cup. "Thanks," he croaked.
"Is there anything else I can get you?" the nurse asked kindly. Billy took a small sip, recentering. "Can you get me a Coke?"
When Billy felt composed, he headed back down the hallway, a heavy feeling nestling under his ribcage. Neil was seated at the small dining room table in the kitchenette area, a game of Pyramid underway with his favorite deck of playing cards.
Billy cracked the chilly can of Vanilla Coca-cola and placed it on the tabletop. His father eyeballed it in wonder, reaching out and grasping it, "my favorite!" He smiled fondly, taking a nostalgic slurp. "How'd you know?" Billy sighed, resting his hands on the back of the empty chair opposite his old man. "Lucky guess I suppose." Neil's eyes crinkled in pleasure as he raised up the can for a long drink, sighing in satisfaction as he let the can down. Billy scooted the chair out and sat down, his face serious. "Do you know where you are right now?" Neil took another slug, looking casually around the room, "Some poor bastard's... But, uh... no."
Billy took a deep calming breath, "do you remember anything about today?" Neil took his finishing drink and put the can back on the table. "Yah. Course!" he interjected, offended. "I went to work. Swung by the Deli for lunch..." Neil listed. His gaze became unfocused as he thought. "I, uh... I was looking for my wife." He looked at Billy a moment, before continuing. "She wasn't home. So, I uh... went to find her." He shrugged, "she's been staying out a lot lately." He finished the thought aloud, suspicion thick in his voice. Neil leaned back in his chair, returning to his card game.
Billy looked down, tears pricking at already reddened eyes. "You okay?" Neil asked, watching Billy carefully. Billy huffed out a small laugh, "where was this when I was a kid?" Neil leaned forward over the table. "What? You gotta speak up if you wanna be heard. Y'know you remind me of my boy?" Neil observed. "Sweet. But... soft. I tried to toughen him up." Neil emphasized his point with a clenched fist.
Billy sniffed harshly, giving his head a subtle shake, "who am I?" Neil looked at Billy perplexed. "What kinda question is that? How the hell should I know?" Billy scoffed. "Dammit, this is frustrating. I have you for 5 minutes, only to lose you again."
"Who am I?" Billy asked again. "Say my name." He begged. "Frank!" Neil provided. "That's your friend." Billy corrected, hope beginning to slip from sight. "Neil." The man guessed. "That's you." Billy pressed in frustration. "I'm Neil?" Neil asked in amazement. "Yeah," Billy replied sadly.
"Dad... Say my name."
Neil looked at Billy, struggling, searching the younger man's face for an answer. Any answer. "I... I don't. I don't know." Neil responded.
"I'm Billy. I'm your son," his voice was cracking. Billy wiped at his eyes, renewed tears threatening his resolve.
"Sorry to interrupt," a knock came at the door. "Mr. Hargrove, I have your dinner. Would you like me to set it aside for you?" the staff member asked from the doorway with a tray in their hands. Billy waved them in, "Come in, he'll have it now." Helping Neil clean up his playing cards, Billy set down the tray and thanked the employee, before returning to his seat.
Picking up the dull knife, Neil cut into his meal, but after cutting a few pieces he pulled back with a wince. Gingerly, he rubbed the length of his arm. Billy watched curiously, "Your arm hurt?" "Yeah," Neil acknowledged, he reached out with the opposite arm to pick up his fork and spear a piece of chicken. "Ever since I broke it..." Billy's eyebrows furrowed, "when did you break your arm?" He had never known this. Neil chewed thoughtfully, popping another bite of food in his mouth. "You were there, 'member?" He dabbed at his mouth with the napkin from the tray. "There were those girls... we wanted to impress. Man, those girls..." He chuckled, his frame rattling. "So you pitched and I swung, and that ball flew for miles!" Neil swallowed and coughed. "Until it hit Ma's sitting room window. And there was Dad..." Neil exhaled, his cheeks puffing. "Boy was he pissed. Remember that?" Neil skewered another piece of food. "He was a shade of red I'd never seen before." Neil paused in thought, "man, he was pissed."
"He broke your arm?" Billy asked in surprise. Neil shrugged, picking up the Coke can to see if there was any left inside it. "Eh, what're you gonna do?" He set the can down, pointing his fork at Billy, "He'd have broke yours too if he'd have seen you. Good thing you ran. Smart."
"Stupid broken arm... ruined my chances of playing ball. I could've been great." Neil complained, rubbing the old injury.
"Why did you let him hurt you?" Billy questioned in astonishment. Neil looked at him, incredulously, "What? We were like 12? What choice did I have?"
"Di-did he do it to you often?" Billy stumbled over the question as it caught in his throat. Neil waved him off with his fork, "Come on. You don't wanna relive that stuff." The word pierced him. Lighting his insides and setting ablaze a furnace he tried so hard to keep dampened.
"I relive it every day. Every day." Billy confessed.
Neil looked up at him like he was crazy. Billy gripped the table's edge until his knuckles turned white. "I tried for so long to forget about everything that you did to me. Don't you remember?" Neil shook his head. "No... that was Dad. Not me." Neil corrected him, shaking his head. Billy slammed his palm flat on the tabletop, Neil jolting in his seat. Neil stared at him.
"You are my dad!" Billy grieved.
The pair stared at each other intensely, the room falling away into insignificance around them. "You beat the crap outta me!" Billy pressed, tears escaping his eyes. Neil looked away with sudden discomfort as he set down his utensils. "No." Billy shook his head angrily. "Look at me. You look at me!" He demanded. Neil gave him a sidelong glance. "You tell me you remember!" Billy provoked. Neil shook his head heavily in disbelief. "No. You must have me confused with someone else."
Billy slumped in his seat, exhausted, surrendering. He sniffled miserably, looking at the clock on the wall. 8:47pm. Surely, this was enough hell for one day? Right?
"It's getting late..." Billy trailed off, getting up from his chair. "I need to head home. But I'll see you again next week... Dad." Neil blinked at him strangely but said his farewell, allowing Billy to leave.
Arriving home, Billy smiled softly. There was a familiar face in the driveway.
"Tough day?" Max asked, she lifted an arm with a hefty paper takeout bag as an offering. Billy laughed softly, "nothing that sleep can't fix."
"Wanna talk?" Max inquired, heading to the front porch. Billy silently nodded and sat on the stoop beside her. "Did it happen again?" she asked. Billy stayed silent, his eyes tired and unfocused. "Why do you go?" She questioned. "I'm his son. I have to." Billy answered as if it were obvious.
"It's not fair, y'know?" Billy finally spoke, looking at her. "He doesn't remember anything... anything that he did to me. To us."
"But I remember. I remember every curse, every smack, every bruise. Every scar." He fell silent again, his knee beginning to bounce.
Max put a comforting hand on his knee in reply. "Everything. I remember... all of it." Billy continued.
"You want a confession... or an apology." Max reflected. "But you can't have that with the way his memory is."
"I look at him now, and he's old. And he's sick. ...And I feel nothing. And it scares me Max... what does that say about me as a person?" Billy asked with desperation in his voice. "You're supposed to love your parents."
He rested his head in his hands, "I go because... because I need to feel something." Billy began to cry. "It looks like you do feel something," Max observed, gently wiping a tear from his chin.
"It's crazy y'know?" Billy hiccuped. "I've learned more about him now he's sick, than the entire time when he wasn't."
"Turns out the apple didn't fall far from the tree... a long line of bad apples. Y'know?" Billy smiled bitterly, as Max scooted in closer, wrapping an arm around her brother. "He was a victim too. You both were." She stated. "And with a little forgiveness, maybe you can move forward..." She coaxed. "Maybe." Billy sighed in defeat. "Not just for him, Billy. For you." Max reasoned.
