I come seeking an update on the status of a fanfic you wrote/ are writing…? I must know if the fanfic “OLD_FOLKS HOME” is still in progress, it is very good and I am very invested in it but I cannot tell if You still plan on continuing it as it has been five months (ish) since the last update.

hiya! i'm glad you've been enjoying the fic ^^ hope you don't mind if i answer this on the blog proper in case anyone has the same question you do!

i absolutely do plan on continuing OLD_FOLKS HOME! i am about 1500 words into the latest chapter, which isn't as far along as i'd like to be but i've been enjoying writing it when i have the time!

the reason why it's been a while since the last OFH update is a combo of factors: one, i'm sure you can tell from my blog, i got terribly interested in great god grove; i've been working primarily on my GGG fic recently, which i was NOT expecting to get as long as it has lol. on that fic i'm currently about 6000 words into the latest chapter, about two-thirds, and that chapter is the fic's second-to-last. i plan on keeping the last chapter short, and as soon as i'm done with that fic i'll be full steam ahead on OLD_FOLKS HOME once more

the second reason is that i have had a full-time job these past few months! not only does a forty-hour work week take up a lot of one's free time, but it also takes a lot of energy out of you haha; it's obviously a net positive to have a job like that, but it does mean my output on basically all creative fronts has been limited lately

i've honestly been a bit worried recently that it's been so long since my last update, so i'm glad to have the opportunity to reassure people that i'm still very much interested in inscryption and my silly little AU for it! i have the entire third and final act of the fic mapped out and i intend to finish what i started

thanks so much to you, and everyone for your patience! it may be a bit still before OLD_FOLKS HOME updates but rest assured i do intend to keep it going until it's all done ^^
