Ok, here it is, sorry it's...long

Luc: I'd describe them as the closest thing I have to a genderfluid character that I can depict (I don't wanna directly call them genderfluid when I have no true connection to gender and how it changes in them). Of course, they keep to they/them and not being called either gender. Their sexuality is pansexual, and they enjoy embracing it. No REAL preference but in practice they sleep with more men then women when their partners actually care to identify. Grey-pan-romantic, in that romantic attraction would be extrememly rare for them (and hasn't happened) and it could be anyone. Luc describes their gender as 'what are you a cop?' 98% of the time, and they don't really care to describe their relationship with their sexuality and romantic feelings. They basically just sum it up as 'I'm having plenty fun and I don't care for broken hearts'.Adam: Adam's a cisgender man, and honestly is mostly that way due to not really exploring, though I imagine any self-exploration wouldn't change him but give him a deeper and more full connection to the fact that he's a man. He's bisexual and biromantic, and while in theory he holds no preference, in practice he's had far more men for partners then women. He's also polyam, however also perfectly happy to be in a monogamous relationship should he not feel affections to another party.Adam describes it as simply being a man. He doesn't think much of his sexuality and romantic identities, though being bi did stress him some earlier on. Nowadays it's sorta just..part of who he is in his eyes, no more notable then the fact that he has silver in his hair or that he wears blue often. The polyam part...he has discussed with Samantha about how he's had multiple partners at once in the past and the whole...poly relationship thing, and has stated he's ok with only being with her, because right now he only loves her romantically. She's alright with it should another come up, but the usual discussion things should go into place for it.

Samantha: She's a cisgendered straight woman. Once again, she never had much chance to explore, and I feel she might lean more towards being non-bianary or a demi-girl should she do so. She did actually experiment with her sexuality and romantic identities, but she's found she is both heterosexual and heteroromantic. Simply not attracted to women or other gendered people. Not too much to it.Samantha describes it as being a plain woman. She knows exploration is possible and has been debating it, but she has a busy life. She's quite accepting of the fact that she's straight, due to the fact that she did try out being attracted to people who weren't men, and it simply wasn't for her. Not much to it. While she hasn't personally tried to see if she's polyam, with Adam, she's willing to try if he did end up loving both her and someone else.Endemannus: He's honestly not meant to *have* one, and the closest I could put it is 'agender who prefers to be called a man if someone REALLY needs to identify them that way'. You just sorta gotta look at them and guess. They're also aromantic, and quite likely asexual (I haven't quite decided). It'd be in a way most similar to my ability to describe my own identity in those areas; for aro, being in a slight guilt for feeling a love that you realize isn't quite romantic in a place that puts love over all (quite *literally* in the Bazaar's case) and while not being capable of attraction to another's body, being willing to try knowing someone that way if you really feel like it. Likely he's cupiosexual.Endemannus doesn't really care to put labels on, so she's mostly...feelings. He's detacted from gender to the point of simply not caring anymore. They don't tend to think of sex or sexuality but do understand she doesn't feel that sort of attraction. Aromantic...well. He's not quite accepting of being that yet. They believe they have a romantic crush on the zee, but she knows in some deeper part that that's *not* what it is, and that scares him very badly.

Conley: ...intersex? Maybe? Their whole deal is weird and honestly putting a label to it requires jumping through more hoops then I care for. Their asexual and would only actually have anything more then cuddling in very specific scenarios, only really for power or manipulation then any real enjoyment. They're also demi-biromantic! Ish. To the extent that it can apply to any romantic feelings to devils.Conley more or less describes it as 'I am a threat and you should care more about that'. They don't even really care about human pronouns (my use of they/them is far more a simplification on my end and it's likely they'll get neopronouns in the future). They simply see sex as a act of power, a emotional tactic that takes energy and time to use for a varying reward. As for romantic...well, they did have a couple crushes before the Revolution to understand to a extent what they *are*, but nowadays they don't have any (they only have two emotional bonds that could reach that territory, and they don't have romantic feelings for either). So they don't really care.Edward: Ohhh boy, the disaster. I believe I've explained before the whole gender thing, but I shall again. The thing with Edward is that he's new to the Neath, and the idea of gender exploration is a entirely new concept to him that he wouldn't have the first idea how to do. And while he's currently a cisgendered man, I do have plans on him becoming bigender (he/she) at some point. He's homosexual and homoromantic, and has a conflicting relationship with it due to past tramuas and once again, being new to a area where it's ok to be that way. The fact that he's a diaster gay is just how he is honestly.Edward has...issues solidly putting himself as a man already. After all, there are (apparently) options! How can he call himself a man if he hasn't tried the options? For now he's ok with being called a man, but one day, one time, will push him more into exploring. As stated above, he has a complicated relationship with being gay. He's getting better at it over time, but there are days where he causes himself heavy whiplash with even the thought of being gay. It causes some...self-esteem issues, and his tramua isn't helping in that regard. He sometimes tries to pray to love a woman, only to get hit with even *more* whiplash, just religiously this time, because Edward was once Catholic and has since left the church all together. But that is another topic.

Gale: I'd put Gale firmly in questioning. Just all of it. They're throwing stuff at a wall and hoping it sticks. Thinking about past feelings they've had. Debating physical experimentation. Who knows! They don't! I don't (yet)! For now they use they/them in more 'I am a swarm of bees' sense then anything.Gale puts themself as just...they have no idea. They use they because they're a physical swarm of bees. They've had relationships with people who didn't care for gender, those who did as well. Whatever they are, they have no idea yet. They didn't think about it before! They didn't need to! Sal: She's a woman in the way like...you'd be punched if you called them a woman but they lean quite femininely overall, to the point where she does use feminine titles and pronouns. Just don't call them a woman. Sal's sexuality and romantic life is just sorta...I'm not sure I'd put it as a identity. Like, in *theory* she's bisexual and panromantic, but in practice she just likes Gale way too much.Sal would just put it as 'don't worry, darling :)', in a tone that would make you worry even more if it weren't for the fact that it was a response to their gender. She doesn't care as long as she isn't called anything and nothing masculine is used. She doesn't put much thought into sexuality and romantic identities nowadays, mostly just...being obsessed with Gale in a very bad way. She's *aware* they can be attracted to other people, she just doesn't care.

what are some of your oc's best/happiest memories?

alder scott - my son. I torture him so much. so many of his memories are bittersweet and tainted by later pain. but the first time he sees his little sister ash says his name (like “a-duh”) he just gets so overwhelmed. and when he meets delu and she looks at him like he’s never killed anyone before even though they both know that’s not true.

jasper broadbank - hands down, william’s proposal to him even though it drove him into a panic later, bc he can never remember feeling so loved and wanted before

abioye ross - marrying his wife, the day he was freed, the first time a white person ever listened to him to understand rather than to respond in an argument

aodh byrne - ukita saving him from prejudiced jerks in a bar, the first time his mother bought herself a new dress and new shoes for him and his brother after his brother started bringing home money

eugène barrault - that time he swindled a duke into giving him money because he convinced him it was ‘fashionable’ to sponsor strangers (one of his stupidest cons that ever worked), when he convinced a sailor to teach him to read, when he knew that jaquan would be okay after his injury

jaquan ortiz - not one for big moments, more like little routines: eugène telling him stories of his adventures, any time he gets to care for his partner, the feeling of finally settling in after a day of travel

josiah campbell - choosing a name and passing, teaching people things like sewing without judgment, meeting men like eugène which reassures him that there ain’t a ‘right’ way to be a man

ukita iori - winning a duel against the best swordsman in his home village, when he started to understand aodh and stopped fighting with him so much, protecting aodh and calling him his son

lee edwards - when he realized he could go stealth without being in danger of not passing anymore, tim coming to him and telling him after he gets hurt instead of him having to hear from bruce or figuring it out himself, moving out of his parents’ house

31. Do you have any OCs? Tell us about them!

Starly Timeline is being turned into a fic, so this means that I’m allowed to talk about Vivien and Phoenix and Ariah

So Vivien Bonnaire (He/him) moved to Foxfield from England when he was 15, and with his very obvious French accent people struggled to understand him, but he started to adjust as time went on

Now in the time that he’s been in Foxfield, hes developed feelings for Louis, but due to Louis always being busy, he never actually has the chance to talk to him, so when he finally starts getting involved in demon shit accidentally, it’s like a dream come true for him

Moving onto Phoenix Jameson (He/She)

Phoenix is in his first year of high school and he heavily looks up to Edward

After finding out Crow managed to squeeze their way into the gang, he started to idolize them too because he wanted to be exactly like them

He starts off as a dumb naive kid until one day he discovers he has supernatural abilities and finally sees the reality of having these powers, along with seeing what Crow sees almost daily

Now, Ariah Byrne (She/they) is a 16 year old who recently changed schools from that private school I forgot the name of (I think it was Winston or something??) to Foxfield high

Outside of school you can often find her riding around town with her rollerblades, but in school you’ll usually find her swooning over Niki

One day when Niki invites her out for girls day because Rachel couldn’t make it, they discover that she has supernatural abilities and she slowly starts getting more involved with the supernatural crap that goes on

But she doesn’t mind, to her this is just more time being spent with Niki

A federal judge in Chicago has ruled that the Trump administration may not withhold public-safety grants to so-called sanctuary cities. The decision issued Friday is a setback to the administration's efforts to force local jurisdictions to help federal authorities crack down on illegal immigration.

U.S. District Judge Harry Leinenweber ruled that Attorney General Jeff Sessions exceeded his authority by requiring cities to cooperate with federal immigration officials or lose grant money for fighting crime. Sessions wanted local authorities to detain people in this country illegally for 48 hours, so immigration agents could apprehend them, and allow agents into local jails.

The judge issued a temporary nationwide injunction in response to a lawsuit brought by the city of Chicago. The order prevents the Justice Department from withholding grant money until there is a final determination in the lawsuit, which could take months.

At stake was more than $2 million that Chicago and its neighboring jurisdictions receive from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants.

Answering all these questions at once because a) some of them overlap and b) I don’t want to have to do multiple posts. Thanks for all the submissions!

1. Your first OC ever? 

If we’re gonna get technical about it, my first original character was created when I was maybe six or seven. She was blonde elf named Amber. However, if we’re not counting her, my first proper OC was created for an online roleplay in 2012 or 2013. Her name was Thorn McCloud and she was a cat girl with a sugar addiction and a perky goth aesthetic. I haven’t used her for anything - roleplays, art, writing - in a million years. 

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?

Definitely not. Though I sometimes prioritize my newly created babies over my older ones, I don’t generally play favourites.

3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?

I have, actually! Two of them were given to me by the lovely @mc-birb! One was Ignes, a cute little invisible girl, and the other one was Tempus, a weird mechanical prophet with a clock for a head. I also adopted another two from a friend on a forum: Elegy Byrne, a skittish banshee, and Jason Taupe, an imp with a penchant for pranks. I don’t use any of these four all that often, but I love them nonetheless.

4. A character you rarely talk about?

Ugh, too many to count. Cyril doesn’t get a lot of play, probably because he’s a pretty boring character by comparison to most of the others (he’s a normal pre-teen who wouldn’t be out of place in a slice of life series). Likewise, I don’t talk a lot about Julian, because he’s pretty new and is mostly defined by his cool haircut and his straight-laced personality. It’s not that I don’t care about them, it’s just that there isn’t much to say about them by comparison to all the others.

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?

Probably one of my DnD characters (aka the Disaster Squad girls)? I’m pretty proud of them and I think that they’re probably some of my best developed OCs. I’d be happy if Caithana, Aurin or even Penelope became popular.

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?

Again, maybe one of my DnD characters? Caithana wouldn’t be bad to hang out with, since she’s so sweet and kind, but Aurin might be fun to meet too, since she’s a lot more extroverted. Again, these guys are some of my best developed OCs and, as such, meeting one of them would probably be a lot like meeting a real person.

27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?

As her punny name might suggest, Karolina Diamandis - the elf decker I created for a Shadowrun-esque cyberpunk setting - was (loosely) inspired by Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”. I wanted an OC who could capture the essence of an upbeat, earworm-y kind of song and I created her: the friendliest hacker since Radical Edward. She even uses the song as her calling card - whenever she hacks a system with speakers, she makes the machine blast the song so that everyone knows she’s been there. 

28. Your most dangerous OC?

In terms of sheer power, probably one of the reality warpers or minor deities. Jyn, Equinox, Mother Superior, Olivia... they’re all capable of vaporizing people if they’re angry enough. However, if we’re talking about ruthlessness, Cyprian or Erica might give them a run for their money. Those two can cause a lot of damage in the right situation.
