“Are you hurt?” the demon asks, and Vivian has to admit she is taken aback by the genuine concern on his face. Why is it that she has only ever felt safe amongst these non-humans rather than her own kind since her arrival?

A memory flashes—a dark study, musty night air, excruciating pain as a disappointed golden gaze stares down at her—and Vivian has to consciously push down the nausea that bubbles all the way up to the back of her throat. She brushes that horrid image from her mind just as she wipes the sweat and blood from her brow.

“I’m okay,” Vivian answers her savior, though she does not take the hand he offers. Her arms and legs are shaking but she is determined to stand tall under her own power. “Thank you,” she tells him, avoiding his gaze.

He gives no auditory response and with Vivian staring at the blades of grass at her feet with far more scrutiny than they deserve, she misses the way his lips purse and how his brows furrow. She only looks to him after he has made his way to the felled beast, blood still weeping from its tattered corpse.

Why does he look like he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders? Vivian finds herself thinking as she watches him. The frown he wears as he inspects the creature seems to hint at more than a simple attack by a crazed beast, and the way he is so thoroughly inspecting the area... Questions bubble at the tip of Vivian's tongue—What is that thing? Why did it come after me? Why did you save me?—but what could an outsider like her ever hope to really understand about this strange fantasy world? So Vivian decides to tamp down her curiosity for now.

She will just ask Sophie about this later.

There's a woman in the den. Her presence makes your fur stand on end, your instincts screaming that she isn't safe. The harsh growl that fills the room only seems to amuse her, the woman kneeling a bit away from where you're sat.

"Aw, hey there, sweetie.." She coos, voice soft and soothing. "I know, I'm a big scary stranger, huh? Poor pup.." Nobody else is home, you don't think. Rowen definitely wouldn't be letting someone wonder in like this. "I'm Vivian," The woman smiles, bearing her neck. It's a vulnerable gesture, an act of trust, and an attempt to show she isn't a danger.

It surprises you, enough that your growl teeters into a confused whine.

Vivian hums, holding out her hand towards you. "Here, come on. You're ok, dear.." She seems perfectly content to wait, making no move to get closer. "It's ok.."

She remains perfectly still as you approach and sniff her hand, allowing you to investigate. The woman smells.. familiar, which only further confuses you. Her scent is the same that lingers on some of the blankets and pillows strown across the house.

"See? I'm a friend.." After a moment she delicately pets your head, "how rude of my husband... bringing a cute little one home and not telling me."

He loves rabbits and he loves you. Imagine combining these two things into one?! He's beyond smitten with you, his chubby little wife. Whatever you want, he's getting it for you, absolutely spoiling you. He'll cook for you, keep you all plump with his food, he'll satisfy you during your heats, fucking you until you can't take anymore. Sure, he wouldn't be able to breed you due to your incompatible species... But that certainly wouldn't stop him from trying.

Your ears and tail are his favorite. With your permission, he'll always be petting or caressing them. He fusses over you so much, making sure to take good care of your fur. You're just so pretty, he can't help it!

He'd never hurt you; you're too precious. ❤️

Starting to work on an old character concept. One of Sephs familiars/roommates, tough admittedly, Vivian avoids these duties and hyperfocuses on personal work. it does result in a a very decent cash flow, so it's let slide a lot.  They speak with a distorted autotune voice

"Why... When it comes to him, my chest..."

I've been binging webtoons lately and it's had me revisiting an old story I was planning years ago where a woman is summoned to a fantasy world due to a mage's experimentation with old spells. Disappointed in her apparent lack of special powers or abilities ancient records told of summoned heroes, the mage has her disposed of, her body tossed out alongside those of criminals from the dungeons.

Little does he know that she has been "blessed" with immortality. Waking among corpses, horrified by the sight before her and the ease and indifference at which the mage killed her, she flees the castle town and into the wilderness. Discovering a village of demi-humans and demons that kindly take her in, she comes to learn of the world she has been summoned to and the corruption running rampant amongst the human kingdoms.

Eventually she comes to learn of the demon lord and, in search of answers and protection, seeks him out. Turns out there's a curious connection between the two.

Maybe indulging in this story and continuing world building and character creation will help me through this creative block. So here's a webtoon style drawing of the female lead, though I'm still trying to nail down designs. (づ￣ 3￣)づ
