humans are competitors by nature. prey and predator, to gain an advantage means for another to fall to a disadvantage. by any means, people fight their way to the top.
at the tokyo metropolitan advanced nurturing high school, classes have to fight their way to the top; they have to battle the other classes in order to graduate. class a, the highest class in each grade, is the only class able to graduate and receive the benefits of graduates— 100% guaranteed employment and college entry to any place.
however, fighting for the opportunity to be in class a was harder than everyone initially thought. those who were already in class a had a major advantage simply because they were class a.
the school’s class ranking system goes from a to d, a being the best and d being the worst. upon enrollment, you were placed in class d. in a class filled with the lowest of the low in the entire school, it was hard to rise to the top.
to most, you were inefficient just because you were class d. it was strange because everyone had flaws, yet the people in your class were deemed the ones who had it the worst.
you had classmates who would honestly fit the role of an outstanding student, such as yosuke hirata and suzune horikita, the class representatives. it made no sense for them to be in your class. they were living and walking proof that not everyone in your class was what they were made to be.
due to the standing of your class, it was hard to make friends in other classes. you weren’t sociable like kikyo kushida, and you didn’t participate in clubs you’d meet other people in like hirata. so you stuck to the people in your class, making acquaintances and friends with a few.
when you didn’t talk with them, you indulged yourself in reading, a way to relax and pass time when you weren’t doing homework. you often found yourself in the library, the place where you first met hiyori shiina.
you remember that meeting well. after all, it was the event that changed the course of your high school life.
it happened to be busy in the library that day. you first years had the paper shuffle exam soon, hence why the library was busy. students were cramming info into their brains, but what they were studying might not even help.
with other classes being the ones to make the exam questions, there was no telling what kind of content you would have to study. confident in your academic abilities and satisfied with some extra studying you did, you sat in the library for your own leisure.
you made sure to sit at the end of a table in case anyone else needed the space. you were unsure of how much time passed until a girl pulled out a chair. it was across from you and two seats away, but you could see her in your peripheral vision.
like you, she took out her own book and began to read it. though, you weren’t sure if she was actually reading it based on how she cast a glance at you every once in a while.
you placed a bookmark in your book before you met her glance. realizing she had been caught, the light-haired girl’s eyes traveled to your book.
“i noticed that you keep looking over. if you want to tell me something, then go ahead,” you told her. your words came out blunter than intended.
“o-oh,” the girl’s hands traveled to her lap, “i just noticed the book you were reading. it’s a great mystery, and the author is one of my favorites. they write splendidly.”
“you’re not wrong about how they right. i like how scattered it is, actually. it makes me think that i can read the chapters in any order and end up with the same result.”
“that was the true intention of the author, actually! this book was her final, so she wanted to write the best book she could. her wish became true because it became her best-selling novel, and it’s my favorite mystery. i’ve read it over multiple times, and i always happen to find something new!”
as this girl rambled to you, you recognized her as one of the students in class c. after seeing how most of class c acted, violent and rude, you didn’t expect to remember that this soft-spoken student would be in the same class.
you didn’t bring up the fact that you recognized her, “you know a lot about this book and the author. you must be a big fan.”
she smiled at you, “i am, yes. i love to read, and this library has become a second home to me. it’s like a whole new world to discover here. it’s unfortunate that i can barely find anyone to talk to books about. my classmates in class c, the people i am around most, don’t share the interests in books that i have. so i’m sorry for getting carried away, (l/n)-san. i tend to get really happy when talking about books!”
“don’t worry about it,” you waved your hand and smiled. “but hey, how do you know my name?”
“i happened to be standing in the hallway when ayanokouji-kun once called out to you. oh! let me first introduce myself. shiina hiyori, class c.”
hiyori’s arm stretched out so that her pale hand was right in front of you. you lifted your own hand off of the desk, shaking it with hers.
fate wasn’t something you originally believed, but meeting hiyori made you think differently. hiyori sat at the table you did before she even knew you were reading one of her favorite novels of all time. it couldn’t have been a mere coincidence.
you two left the library together and went your separate ways after reaching the lobby of the dorms. before hiyori watched you walk into the elevator, you gave her your number. simple texts turned into long conversations, long conversations into phone calls, phone calls into video calls, and so on.
there was something about the two of you that just clicked. before it even became official between the two of you, dating rumors had already spread throughout the school.
you guys often walked each other to class, ate your lunch together, and even hung out after school. it was impossible to prevent rumors after being seen together in public many times.
however, neither of you ever responded to them. some fell to believe that the two of you were already dating at that time, some thought it wasn’t true, and the rest had already forgotten about the subject.
everything would resurface on valentine’s day.
the 14th of february was quite a big deal around the school. boys and girls flocked together into different groups as if they were different cliques. pairs that were already dating took their chances to be near each other, either being thought of as cute or annoying (by those who were jealous).
you would’ve walked with hiyori to the school if it weren’t for the fact that she promised to meet with a friend before school started. so because how the two of you were in different classes, you would only see her at lunchtime.
classes ended and, immediately, people rushed into their groups. you found hirata at the other side of the classroom surrounded by girls. some of them weren’t even in your class, which made you wonder how they got here so fast.
you were already going to head to the cafeteria when kiyotaka ayanokouji, the boy you talked to sometimes because he sat behind you, spoke to you. he said, “hiyori-san is here for you.”
you cast him a glance before taking a look at the classroom door in the back. true to his word, hiyori stood there with a small bag in her hand. she was aware of everyone’s gazes, but she continued to walk in your direction.
“(y/n)! ayanokouji-kun! good, you’re in the same spot,” she smiled.
you resisted the urge to stand right next to her while she took out two boxes of chocolates. it was quite easy to tell the difference between the two, one was for a friend, and the other for someone she liked.
hiyori handed ayanokouji the red square-shaped box and you the pink heart-shaped one. you knew ayanokouji was looking at you, but you didn’t dare to meet his eye. you were sure that he, and every other person watching, had put some of the puzzle pieces together.
the brunette dismissed himself to avoid any more attention.
“i thought we’d meet at the cafeteria?” you spoke with hiyori in a quiet voice.
she nervously laughed, “sorry, i thought this would be a good time to give ayanokouji-kun his chocolates as well. i also wanted to walk with you, if you didn’t mind.”
unable to resist the sweet girl, you let her grab your free hand. she gently gave you three squeezes, a silent message just for you.
‘i love you’
note: i definitely think we need more cote content because it’s amazing, really. hiyori is best girl btw, and she deserves all the love ❤️❤️

Inosuke College AU
Word count: 1,350
Major: Kinesiology
Minor: Psychology
Sports: Judo, Rugby
Clubs: Tanjiro signed him up for a ceramics club, and he goes only to try and one up him (Which is not the point of the club at all smh) but he attends every meeting without fail.
He's that dude that walks into the lecture hall wearing the most outrageous and eye-catching outfits
You just can't help but see him and instantly know what he's like to talk to
Neon orange athletic shorts with a hawaiian shirt so stereotypical it makes your eyes twitch in displeasure
Add some burkenstock sandals worn with mismatched socks and you have Inosuke
Just by looking at him you know he is quite the personality to work with
And he is, but he is intelligent and definitely pulls his weight in projects
Will chastise his classmates if they get injured while doing the more active labs
But he does that while tending to their injuries so you know he cares about their wellbeing
It's quite sweet of him!
Well it would be if every 3rd word wasn't a swear
That doesn't mean he has terrible grades though.
No he actually does quite well in his courses and there's one simple reason as to why;
he's genuinely hard working
Which surprises nearly everyone who sees him.
But that only makes him work harder
You see Inosuke decided to actually get an education for the simple reason that everyone assumed he was too stupid to do anything with his life
He originally wanted to do Zoology but then he realized that he has too much energy, which ends up scaring off most animals
Which defeats the whole "study of animals" part of Zoology
Of course his Mom was in his corner despite this, really only wanting her son to be happy and find his own success
So he wouldn’t make the same mistakes she did in her youth
Inosuke actually got advice from his mom which helped him settle on Kinesiology as his degree
But once he settled on his degree he was set in stone
His pseudo-step dad offered to pay for his schooling but Inosuke said "I would rather swallow a truck whole than be indebted to you"
And then took out a shit ton of loans to pay for everything
Which only amused his pseudo-dad and made his mom worry a tad
He manages to work a part time job flipping burgers over the summer which was enough to let him pay for his books and meal plan outright for the first year
And yet despite seeing him bust his ass to be able to go to school people still tried to dissuade him from doing anything further with his life
Which only made him work harder
His whole attitude towards school is "man this sucks but also fuck anyone and anything that tries to make me quit: No You"
Inosuke even takes pride in the dropped jaws that come from seeing him at the top of his courses
The boy has never once gotten lower than an 80% on an assignment
He does best in his statistics course simply because both Tanjiro and Zenitsu are also enrolled in that block
Inosuke is competitive
In his other courses nobody stirs up that aggressive competitive spirit like Tanjiro and Zenitsu do in their shared Stat course
And with the pair of them around him, Inosuke feels the urge to out do both to the point where he likes to imagine their feelings of inferiority will crush them like a 1 ton block of the densest concrete imaginable
Inosuke actually made Zenitsu stop breathing from sheer shock and awe when he realized what Inosuke's minor was
Psych is Zenitsu's major (the duo don't share any courses for psychology so they didn't know until then) and it caused Zenitsu to go on a rant to the effect of, " to think that pig headed idiot is doing better than me, that must be a lie! LIAR"
That rant made Inosuke laugh so hard he fell off the table he was sitting on
He actually bruised a rib because of it
It remains Inosuke's favourite memory of Zenitsu because of this
And he wants to see how else he can make him turn purple with rage
Hence he often comes up with weird ways to try and express his perceived academic superiority over his friends rivals
Zenitsu falls for the weird competitive schemes Inosuke comes up with
Tanjiro decidedly does not, in fact he doesn't really care so long as nobody actually gets hurt
Does that stop Inosuke from trying to outdo him? N o p e
If Tanjiro gets 96% on an assignment Inosuke must get 100%
What can I say Inosuke is a competitive guy
And it works for him as motivation
Maybe a little too well if Inosuke has anything to say about it
(He was embarrassed bc he got called out publicly at his grad ceremony for not just outstanding academic excellence but by the elderly head of the department for "being the Kinesiology student with the highest grades since the founding of the department" )
The metal he received from the department head totally does not hang on the wall in his mom's house
Speaking of competitive spirit at school
He trains really hard for both Judo and Rugby
Its a great way for Inosuke to burn off both his aggression towards all the frustrating people he's stuck interacting with and his pent up energy
Kicking ass just makes his temperament a lot easier to deal with for others and he will use ' sports practice' excuse to leave whatever social situation he doesn't want to be in
He just really likes contact sports okay
And by God is he good at them
Like takes home trophies and metals kinda good
Which also aren't being kept at him mom's house where he definitely doesn't have displayed where she can see them and be proud of him
However due to his tendency to be aggressive with the intensity of interest he has in things
Tanjiro signed Inosuke up for a ceramics class
He thought that Inosuke would do well with something relaxing to do while still keeping it tactile enough to keep him interested
It did not go over as well as Tanjiro had hoped
But despite this Inosuke still goes to every single club meet up without fail
Is he good at it? No
Is Tanjiro? Definitely
Does that make Inosuke steaming mad? Yep
Inosuke generally sucks at making clay things symmetrical
So every plate or bowl or vase he makes ends up lopsided
Inosuke will die before he admits to Tanjiro that he was glad for being signed up after he gave his Mom the successful first mug he made and she smiled brighter than she had in years
It was bright green with blue and purple childlike butterfly drawings on it and the glaze wasn't spread evenly so it looks a little patchy
And the handle is proportional too large and thin for the cup itself
But Inosuke's mom loves it more than any other mug in the house
And now every time he goes home to see her and she uses that mug, he finds himself quite happy
But he will deny it thoroughly.
All in all he loves getting the chance to go to College
He may hate the judgy people he's forced to encounter regularly but Inosuke does adore the chance to learn and explore new interests
Not to mention the people he gets to interact with
Even if he knows the debt will weigh heavy on his bank account for a long while.
He still thinks it was all worth it.

Hullo, Sam. I have just finished reading Kalopsia and let me say, it was a wild ride! I loved it very much. I even called in sick to work today so I could stay home and read it.
I have a few more questions, so sorry to bother you again but I hope you will take the time to answer them.
1) I’ve noticed you don’t give Hermione a lot of screen time, do you have something against her? I felt so bad for her when she expressed her worry about not being able to follow Harry and Ron on their adventures anymore. Do you think this was something Hermione actually worried about even knowing how good they are at their job?
2) I know I asked it before in reference to violent crimes, but the cursebreakers, forensic experts, etc. Have you made the department have all of these categories like you can be an Auror cursebreaker or an Auror forensic expert? Does that mean Bill could work for the Auror department if he wanted to or is that a different field of cursebreaking?
3) What is an O-Team? Is that like an A-Team? What does it stand for?
4) The incredible amount of detail you put into the healers work, from the respiratory bubble charms, to beeping charms. Do you have medical experience? It comes across as so realistic. How did you turn it so magical sounding?
5) If Demelza is a junior Auror, what are Harry and Ron? How do you rank the Aurors? I remember in Breanie’s work, A Second Chance. Tonks is an A1 and then moves up to an A3 which I think is the highest level. Is your system the same? What did you base it on?
6) That’s twice now I’ve noticed you mention Ron as a baker. Why a baker over a chef? Why food at all? Is that a secret dream you think Ron has? Why does he continue to be an Auror?
7) I love that Demelza calls Harry and Ron husbands! Sutton is the best Auror next to Ron and Harry? Who is Demelza’s partner? How come Sutton doesn’t have a partner? Why is Demelza’s partner crappy?
8) Sympathy cravings? Pre-baby weight? I need to know more about Ron during Hermione’s pregnancy! What was he like?
9) Ron sure likes to tall about and to shake his arse. Is he really that vain about it or did someone (namely Hermione) comment that he has a great arse and he just never let it go? I fully support that if that’s the case.
10) Who is Montgomery? Who is Holmes? What Auror positions are they? Who is Reed?
11) You’ve mentioned the Dursleys a few times now, but we haven’t seen them since Croup, will we see the Dursleys at all? Or at least Dudley? Does Harry stay in contact with them? Do his kids know them?
12) So far, you haven’t once mentioned Charlie. Will we get to see him? Does he ever come back from Romania in your story? Is he married or have kids?
Thank you again. Sorry to bother you. Thank you.
1. I’m not the biggest Hermione fan. I find her character quite annoying, if we’re being honest. Plus, I find her difficult to write. So, she’s always a background character. I think naturally she worries about Ron and Harry because they have such dangerous jobs. Ginny worries as well. I think, given the nature of their jobs, it would be hard not to worry.
2. I’m theory, yes, I suppose Bill could work as a forensic cursebreaker, but the training would be different. I think it’s much like in the Muggle world, you can go down different career paths with a single job title. I saw you read about the medical cursebreaker as well. Bill would be more qualified to work for the Aurors than with St. Mungo’s. Medical is a different ballgame.
3. Yes, it’s like the A-Team. It’s O for Outstanding, the highest grade you can receive at Hogwarts. They’re the O-Team.
4. No, none at all. I just research a lot. And I just did turn it magical? Sometimes, it’s hard so I talk it through with Brie or with a beta. Sometimes I think of it on my own. It’s always a process though.
5. I feel like my ranks are pretty simple. There’s trainees, junior Aurors, and senior Aurors. Ron and Harry would be senior Aurors. It’s based off of solve rate, experience, performance. It’s not like a set year and you switch over. I didn’t really base it on anything.
6. I think having Molly Weasley as a mother, you’d be a pretty good baker and/or chef. I picture Ron as a good baker and Ginny as a good cook. I think Ron would enjoy being a baker but he also enjoys being an Auror. I think the job bothers him at times so he says he’s rather be a house husband or a baker, but he generally likes his job and loves working with Harry.
7. Ron and Harry do act like husbands. I would say Sutton is probably one of the best Aurors, he’s very good at his job and well respected. To be honest, I don’t think I ever gave Demelza’s partner a name or really developed him besides he’s a bit of an idiot. He’s just not a very good Auror and Demelza just kind of leaves him in the dust a lot until she gets a new partner when she rises to the rank of senior Auror and they still stay a junior. Funny you should ask about Sutton’s partner. I had his partner retire around Kalopsia so he was partnerless for a little bit. When Demelza gets promoted after Kalopsia to senior Auror, she actually gets paired with Sutton. I wanted Demelza and Sutton to eventually become partners because he really lets her take the reigns on cases and let’s her shine and move up.
8. Ron was dramatic while Hermione was pregnant. He’d say stupid shit like, “Oh yeah, Hermione and I are eating for two.” Or “Hermione and I craved some bangers last night.” He was 100% invested in the pregnancies and sympathized with Hermione’s plights to the point where he got a tad annoying.
9. Hermione made a comment and Ron just can’t let it go. He does have a fine, fine arse though.
10. Montgomery Reed is a senior Auror, around Sutton’s age (both are roughly 10 years older than Harry and Ron). Holmes is Demelza’s rank, a junior Auror.
11. Harry is only in contact with Dudley. They get together once or twice a year, their kids know each other, and they’re on decent terms. As you know, Harry sees Petunia briefly in Discomposure. She also makes a short appearance in Brontide. You will see Dudley in Legerdemain.
12. Charlie is still in Romania. Not married, no kids. I don’t think he ever makes an appearance? If it does, it’s just a mention he’s there. He just chills in Romania doing his own thing, managing a dragon reserve.

Aurors
Part 1 : Sofia Porazzo
Here is the first part of a series @fortisfiliae and I are writing together! Each one of us is writing bits of each chapters. We hope you like this project of ours :)
A little summary : you and Sirius are Aurors and work together as partners. But this new mission in the heart of the Wizarding mafia is going to be much more complicated than expected...
We hope you all like this!!! Tell us what you think about it :)
Gif not ours
Word count : 2400
Being an Auror was tough. It was harder than you had it imagined it to be, but so rewarding at the same time. Ever since you passed your OWLs you wanted to become one some day. And you actually managed to reach your goal, passing the NEWTs with outstanding grades.
Waking up every day to go to the Ministry and being able to defend and fight for the good side felt great.
You opened the door to your office and saw two paper planes floating above your desk. You took the light-blue one first, it was the colour your boss used to send you important messages on.
“New duty:
Drug ring spotted in Hackney
Head: Sofia Porrazzo
Illegal dealing with Amortentia, Baneberry Potion, Moonseed Poison and various body parts of rare creatures
Observation starts tonight; take your partner to Denton Way, we provide a shed to remain unnoticed;
Undercover investigation can start right after; consider them highly dangerous!
M. Bowen”
Very interesting. You folded it neatly, grabbed the other one and anticipated who it was from. The paper was grey and dull, like he was. McFarley. You sighed before opening the letter:
“Would you mind coming to my office as soon as you’re here?
Thanks, Geoffrey”
While you really didn’t want to do what he asked for, you knew he would pay you a visit in return, if you didn’t. And it was better to be standing inside his office, being able to disappear right away, than having him sitting on the edge of your desk, not bothering to leave.
You got up and left your office, walked over to the neighboring one and knocked before opening the door. Geoffrey sat at his table, eyes fixated on some papers, seemingly writing another letter. He was lean and tall, his blond hair perfectly trimmed as always. Most people would call him handsome - he wasn’t bad looking in fact, but you always disliked his artificial smile and exaggerated friendliness. You could tell he would do anything to achieve his goals, spineless and without morality.
“Morning. You wanted me to come over?”, you asked, as you leant against the wooden door frame.
“Good morning, yes indeed”, he said and put away his pen before he looking up. “Have you read Bowen’s instructions?”
“I have”, you answered, your eyebrow wandering up a bit. “What about it?”
“Well, I had a little talk with him about that case yesterday. He said you could take me with you as your partner this time.”
“Sirius is my partner”, you said and crossed your arms in front of your chest.
“I’m aware. But you seemed to be complaining about him lately. And besides - he’s a Black. I’m still not sure if he’s to be trusted as an Auror with that background”, Geoffrey told you and sneered, apparently waiting for your approval.
“Wow, okay”, you said, took two steps inside and closed the door a bit. “Listen, when I’m complaining, I’m not doing it because he’s incompetent. He clearly is not, he just get’s on my nerves from time to time. And about that family reputation - it’s absolutely not your job to judge his reliability. That’s Bowen’s and mine.”
“Alright, alright. I’m sorry then. I just thought I’d be ready to go out and hunt some bad guys too”, he apologized as you expected.
“Maybe next time”, you mumbled, shook your head and sent him a sympathetic smile, remembering how eager you were to start your first mission. “Ask Henderson, he lost his partner a week ago.”
“You were my first choice, but sure, I’ll talk to him”, Geoffrey said and smiled. There was it. You knew he’d tell everyone they were his first choice. “Thank you Y/N.”
You turned around, without saying another word and left his office. He was still young and inexperienced, maybe he would better himself one day. Maybe you shouldn’t give him such a hard time. But his grin still made you angry. You walked along the corridor, stopped in front of Sirius’ office and knocked. No answer. You tried to open the door but it was locked.
“I’m here”, Sirius’ voice echoed from the halls as he walked your way.
It was exactly 8 o’ clock when checked the time on your watch.
“Never a minute early”, you joked.
“Always on time”, he responded and smirked as he opened the door to his office. “Want to come in? Any news?”
You stepped inside and sat down on one of the two chairs in front of his desk, saying:
“Bowen’s sent a new instruction for tonight. You got it too I think.”
He took the blue paper plane that was floating over his desk and read it.
“Interesting.”
Two hard knocks on the door made you turn around in your seat. Your boss walked in without waiting for a response. Martin Bowen was a tall, broadly built, dark-skinned man in his late fifties. He looked like he could crush a skull with his bare hands, but you knew he’d prefer to use magic instead of getting his hands dirty. Deep inside was a soft core, you were aware of that, but when it came to criminals he wouldn’t let it show.
“Ready for the show tonight?”, he asked after closing the door behind him.
He usually never paid you a visit, this case was seemingly quite important.
“Sure am Martin”, you said. “What’s so special about it that you honour us with your presence?”
Bowen took a seat next to you and sighed.
“They’re dangerous, more dangerous than usual, not just some crooks. I wanted to make that clear again. You need to take extra care.” “
Will do”, Sirius mumbled as he read the instructions again.
“Wait, why did you allow McFarley to come with me if this case is so risky? He’s half-baked”, you asked. “And annoying as well.”
Sirius looked up from the letter and watched the two of you talking.
“He is”, Bowen admitted. “He got on my nerves, begged me to send him afield constantly. That’s why I told him to ask you. I knew you wouldn’t let him.”
You shook your head grinning, tongue stuck between your teeth.
“Told him to ask Henderson, so that’s his problem now.”
Bowen laughed quietly: “Poor guy.”
He got up again and said: “I expect your highest attention tonight. Good luck.”
----------------------------------------------------------
"You know, I think that they could at least give us comfortable furniture. Like an armchair, or at least a sofa that does not risk to collapse under our weight..."
Your remark merely made Sirius laugh.
"That would mean that they would have to pay for something."
You rolled your eyes, setting your gaze back onto the street under you. It was raining hard on the dirty streets of London. You watched strangers hurrying down the street under the heavy rain, their dark umbrellas shaken by the wind. You heaved a sigh, your eyes settling back on the bar you were to monitor. An important meeting was to take place there the following night, but many members of the mafia were already expected tonight to prepare their encounter with the rest of the thugs. And you and Sirius needed to find a way to enter as well tomorrow night. The meeting would gather the most powerful leaders of the black market and other illegal organizations. It was your chance to catch most of them and to learn a lot about their web as well.
But for now, all you had to do was watch over the entrance of the club and try to identify the people who walked inside, and you and Sirius were both trapped in this dirty and dusty little flat.
You heard Sirius heaving a sigh behind you.
"I'm bored, Y/N," he complained.
"Me too," you replied.
He walked across the room and sat down next to you, watching through the curtain the wet street as well.
"Still no one?" he asked after a few seconds of silence.
But you shook your head.
"I hate this kind of missions," he went on. "We should be out there already."
"We need to..."
"... learn more about them. I know. Merlin, you sound like Bowen. Next time, I'm pretty sure you'll give me a lecture about being careful at work..."
"I already give you lectures."
"That's what I'm saying."
He stared more intensely at you all of a sudden, and when he spoke, although his tone sounded nonchalant, you knew that he was serious.
"You didn't tell me anything about this story with Blondie."
"Blondie?"
"Geoffrey."
You rolled your eyes.
"You have to stop giving our colleagues stupid nicknames."
"Don't you dare. You know it's a good pick."
"Awful."
"Brilliant."
"Awful."
"Brilliant."
You heaved a sigh, but in reality, you were struggling not to smile. No matter how much you and Sirius could bicker, you still found him funny... when he was not too annoying, of course.
"Anyway, what's up with him?" Sirius asked again.
"You heard Bowen," you shrugged. "He told Geoffrey to ask me if he could come to this mission with me."
"And I bet he didn't want to be partnered with us, right?"
Sirius's tone was too neutral to reflect nonchalance, and you knew it. He was your partner after all, you knew him so well.
"What now? Jealous, are we?" you joked.
A smile crossed his face, but it quickly vanished as he leaned against the window pane, turning to stare at you as he crossed his arms before his chest.
"I bet he used the same good old argument," Sirius said.
He didn't need to tell you which one he was mentioning. It was a stupid thought that most of Aurors in the department shared about Sirius, and called for them not to trust him.
You knew it was all wrong though.
"Yeah, he did," you nodded. "But it's not true. You're not your family, and you're good."
He raised a playful eyebrow, and you rolled your eyes.
"At this work, Sirius," you added. "You're good at this job."
"I know you like me."
"In your wildest and most twisted dreams only."
"Why did you refuse to do this mission with someone else than me then?" he argued.
"Geoffrey is not ready for such a dangerous mission. And I don't like him. He's annoying."
"I thought you found me annoying too."
"I'm afraid you lose here. He's more annoying than you are, and that's saying a lot. Cope with it, you can't be the best at everything."
"And what am I the best at, in your opinion?"
"I haven't found that out yet. Who knows, maybe you're the best at nothing."
"Oh... I know a thing or two that I'm good at... I could show you..."
"I know what you're thinking about, and that is part of your same twisted and crazy dream where I like you, Sirius."
"Merlin, I was so close this time."
"Not even a tiny bit."
He laughed, focusing on the street as well one more time.
"You know, there is another problem we need to discuss though."
"And what could that be?" you asked.
Night was soon going to fall. The sky wore darker shades now, but the rain was still as violent as before, blurring the shapes that moved through the street. You kept your eyes focused on the entrance, careful that your conversation with Sirius would not draw your attention too far from your mission, far enough to make you miss someone who would enter.
"There is only one bed," Sirius said matter-of-factly.
You frowned.
"There is also a couch, Sirius."
"Why should I be the one to always take the couch?"
"Alright, then. I'll take the couch."
"Or... we could share the bed. It's big enough for two..."
"Wildest dreams again, Sirius. You really should stop holding such fantasies."
"There is only one blanket. You'll die frozen."
You rolled your eyes.
"I have a warm coat. I'll manage."
"So you would rather die from a terrible cold than share a bed with me for one night?"
"I'll still have to sleep in the same room as you, which means that I will have to bear your snoring. That's already more than enough."
He couldn't refrained a chuckle.
"I don't snore."
"You do though."
"No, I don't snore. And you don't either. You make a very cute pout when you sleep though."
You looked up at him, your mind forgetting all about the club.
"I don't."
"You do," he nodded, a smile on his face that you couldn't clearly describe, it was something between soft and amused. "I like it."
"Don't you dare tell anyone."
"I haven't told anyone in the six months that passed since we had this kind of boring mission. Why would I now? Besides... I like having leverage."
"Your snoring is good leverage too."
"I don't snore, Y/N."
"We are not sharing the bed, Sirius."
He shrugged.
"As you wish. But I take the bed this time."
"Deal."
He set his grey eyes on the busy street again, this same smile still on his lips. But his expression quickly changed, and you followed his gaze.
Indeed, a car had stopped right before the club.
"Who is it?" Sirius asked, staring at the woman who walked out of the car and hurried into the club, trying to avoid the rain.
"I think it was our target."
You showed him a picture of your suspect, and he nodded.
That was her no doubt. Dark hair, lean silhouette, dressed in a suit...
"What do we do?" you asked him.
"We follow orders for once," he said. "Bowen said they were particularly nasty. If he bothered reminding us, it means that he really is worried this time. We should stay here for tonight and get there undercover tomorrow night."
You nodded, setting your glance on the rainy street once more.
Indeed, you could feel it in your guts, your instinct sending shivers through your body as a warning. This woman was dangerous. This whole mission was dangerous. And both you and Sirius needed to be careful if you wanted to get out of this club alive tomorrow night.

I got a 99/100 on this 57 page report I did for a big pet products company and got the highest grade in the class :)
When we were discussing marketing strategies in class, I was like "since they allow people to bring their dogs to work, they should collect the waste and use it for composting and build a green space" and my professor was like "by waste, you mean dog poop?" and I was like "yes" and she was like "o...kay"
but I just got my grade back and she loved my marketing section. I honestly think the poop composting is pretty brilliant. part of my recommendation was to have signs up with pics of the dogs who are excited that their poop helped grow the green space and include educational blurbs. and with the branding of this particular company, it would be so adorable.
One of my recommendations - which I was really on the fence about - was to partner with Rent the Runway for rentable dog clothes. I was so worried she would be like "this is ridiculous" but I guess she was okay with it. Sucks because she didn't leave any specific comments about any of my marketing recommendations. Just an overall "OUTSTANDING".

Assessment Obsession
Reading about assessments for my EDS 113 class made me wonder about the idea of being assessed or graded in school. But it does not only happen in school. Whether we like it or not, we are constantly being “graded”. In the workplace, by our friends, our children, etc. It may not take the form of quizzes and exams, but we are tested and judged as human beings¬¬-for our commitment to love, ability to tell the truth, steadfastness, wisdom, generosity that defines us as good people or not. So they must mean something, right?
I know of a school who did away with “grades” and used colors instead to tell the student, whether he has acquired the knowledge and skills for a certain subject (green being the highest and red for “not acquired”). During my time, it was “O” for Outstanding as the highest and “NI” (Needs Improvement) as the lowest. For me, whether schools use letters, colors or numbers, they’re the same. They are just about grades and class ranking. Assessments must encourage “deep” learning and not just the memorization of dates and facts. Yes, you know when Lapu-lapu killed Magellan but do you know what drove him to do it?

Blackrock Hits Bigly Silver in Nevada
Source: Bob Moriarty for Streetwise Reports 07/21/2020
Bob Moriarty discusses the company’s off-the-charts drill results at its Nevada silver project.
Blackrock Gold Corp. (BRC:TSX.V; BKRRF:OTCMKTS) announced the first drill results from their latest program at their 100% controlled Tonopah West silver project in Nevada.
Hole TW20-001 showed two massive silver intercepts. The highest grade was the 2,198 g/t Ag over 3.04 meters.
Another layer that was the actual target of the drill hole reported 29 meters of 965 g/t Ag where it intersected the Victor silver vein.
No wonder the shares were up 102% on the day.
The company has about 20 million warrants outstanding with an average exercise price of $0.25 and some warrants can be forced so the company can count on having another $5 million brought it.
It might be time to change the name of the company from Blackrock Gold to Blackrock Silver because they just brought the Tonopah silver district back to life in a bigly way.

Czapek & Cie comes with a some powerful novelties at Baselworld 2019: ultralight titanium case, platinum and gem set case, panda enamel chrono, as well, some other lovely enamel exercises. A big plus and an unusual complication in time measuring… an hourglass. Check the press release below.
LIGHT AND SHADOW – CZAPEK & CIE: MAGIC FROM MECHANICAL MARVELS
Geneva, March 2019 – For its 2019 Baselworld presence, Czapek & Cie is unveiling a new version of its highest-end watch yet. The Place Vendôme, featuring a tourbillon and a GMT function, is being released in two special luxurious editions, one in titanium, the other set with diamonds.
Czapek Place Vendome Tourbillon Ombres
The tourbillon ranks as one of the most distinguished complications in Haute Horlogerie. That does not mean that it is strictly reserved for those impassioned by mechanical marvels. Czapek & Cie has now created a pairing of Place Vendôme with two very different auras.
The model called “Ombres,” or “shadows,” comes in a grade 5 titanium. It is not only lighter on the wrist, but has a rugged, faintly greyish tint that creates an elemental feeling. The case stretchers have been carefully machined and sandblasted. The watch face, delicately framed by a thinner bezel, is anchored at the lower end by the suspended tourbillon at 8 o’clock and the second time zone at 4 o’clock. Between the two is the day/night indicator in the second time zone. At 12 o’clock, the time giving dial stares from a sombre dial, justifying the name of the model.
“We are fascinated by the subtle shift in character brought about by the use of a different metal and the addition of hues,” says Xavier de Roquemaurel, the Czapek CEO. “It’s now a watch that defies categorizations. It is mysterious, even a touch romantic, and yet still maintains a strong mechanical-functional spirit.”
Czapek Place Vendome Tourbillon Etincelles
The second watch in this special edition is as different in style as day and night. “Etincelles,” or sparks, earns its name from a train of seventy-two baguette diamonds that grace the bezel and cascade onto the lugs. They illuminate the watch and highlight the alabaster whiteness of the enamel dial, further accentuating the light that sparkles at each movement of the wrist. They also turn the watch into an elegant dress timepiece for special occasions. The 43,5-millimeter model comes in a platinum case that has retained all the features of the original Place Vendôme, notably the refined Fleur de Lys hands on the main watch dial.
Etincelles and Ombres are driven by the tried-and-true, hand-wound SXH2 Czapek proprietary movement developed with Chronode. This elegant engine can be seen through the transparent case back. Ombres will be in a limited edition of 25 pieces, whereas Etincelles will come in a limited edition of 10 pieces.
Czapek & Cie will be presenting its latest models at Baselworld 2019, from March 20 to 26, Hall 1.0 sud “Les Ateliers”, Booth L05
EXPRESSIONS IN ENAMEL – CZAPEK & CIE REIMAGINES FOUR OF ITS OUTSTANDING MODELS.
Geneva, March 2019 – Following the release of new dial variants in January, Czapek & Cie is continuing to explore a high-end finishing range of options. Four of the company’s tried-and-true models will be presented at Baselworld 2019 as a special series: They have received new dials in brilliant enamel variations, thanks to collaborations with Czapek’s shareholders and manufacturing partners.
Czapek Chrono Panda Emaillé
In fine watchmaking, precision and efficiency in mechanics must be matched by a timepiece’s appearance. And the most prominent feature of any watch will be the dial, the very real face of time. That is why Czapek & Cie decided to look further into the ancient art of enamelling as a way to extend the aesthetic range of some existing models. “Enamel is durable and it renders colour with a special feeling of depth,” says CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel. “So we decided to tap into our partnerships with Donzé Cadrans and Metalem to create new dials for present and future owners and to pay tribute to our concept of horizontal manufacturing.”
The Quai des Bergues 25ter, for example, has a brilliant Grand-Feu white dial in perfect harmony with the keen-edged 42.5-millimeter steel case. It gives the watch a natural lightness and clarity. Another Quai des Bergues, this time an S model in 38.5mm, was used to develop a new approach to the “flinqué” technique, which combines guilloché with enamel. In this case, Czapek partner Metalem recreated the company’s own Ricochet design on a stamping tool which was then applied to a silver plate. A blue enamel with an exclusive sapphire tone was then added by Donzé Cadrans. The hue was created following the inputs of a panel of Czapek shareholders and collectors. “Perfecting it involved a lot of fine tuning,” de Roquemaurel recalls “Blue is becoming ubiquitous so finding a strong and unique blue required inspiration from past and present hues lingering in the zeitgeist.”
Czapek QDB 25ter
The grand-feu technique, which bakes the enamel at over 800°C ingrains brilliance and exuberance to a white dial. Black enamel, on the other hand, becomes ocean-deep and mysterious. To achieve this effect perfectly for the Quai des Bergues Black Enamel S, the normally vaulted dial plate had to be flattened to ensure the even spread of the enamel application.
Finally, Czapek decided to use enamelling to create the 41.5-millimeter Faubourg de Cracovie Tao, an unprecedented black and white Grand-Feu enamel “panda” watch. The two subdials at 9 and 3 o’clock have been slightly sunken into the striking white dial and appear in shiny black, like the eyes of a panda – the famous analogy used to describe such chronographs. The subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock has remained white, with the date almost incorporated creating a kind of mouth for the panda. Finally, the 12 in Roman numeral is still red as a focal point of the watch. It’s where everything begins.
“These impulses have come from the owners and members of the company,” de Roquemaurel points out. “Together with our manufacturing partners we are engaged in an extraordinary adventure to unleash all the potential of Czapek, whose spiritus rector and original founder, François Czapek, was an outstandingly creative watchmaker.” The four models of the Expressions in Enamel special series will be presented at Baselworld, March 20-26, 2019.
The Sands of Time – Czapek & Cie and Moser Glassworks let time slide by
Geneva, March 2019 – Czapek & Cie is unveiling more than just watches at this year’s Baselworld trade fair. The Swiss brand joined forces with Moser Glassworks, a historic Czech glass manufacturer, to create an outstanding sculpture of Bohemian crystal that doubles as a device to measure time.
Czapek Moser
The hourglass is one of the first instruments invented by man to measure the passage of time. And like all time-tellers, it has its own way of expressing itself. It represents the inexorable flow of time, and also balance. The hourglass invites us to watch each moment slip by and to seize it. Czapek and Moser Glassworks, two companies with roots combining a mid-19th century birth with a Czech-born founder, chose this emblematic object to launch an unusual collaboration imagined by a common friend and shareholder.
Czapek Moser
“The relationship goes even deeper,” explains Czapek & Cie CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel. “For Czapek and Moser craftsmanship is a fundamental value, as well as the search for absolute beauty and aesthetic perfection. So with Moser, it was mutual love at first sight!”
Czapek Moser
The dialogue between the two brands began with the idea of exploring the concept of the beauty of time. The initial thought of producing a collection of crystal clocks blossomed into a collaboration on an hourglass, a pure, original and refined product. “The magic of watchmaking and glassmaking lies in the human touch of extremely talented artisans with years of training, hard-work and experience,” explains Moser Glassworks CEO František Schneider.”
Czapek Moser
Czapek and Moser designers worked closely to create this crystal marvel whose very shape appears timeless. Various elements are conjoined to make this fine 20-centimeter tall object of eternal beauty. Earth is represented by the glassmaking sand, the silica crystals (Si O₂) in their purest form, quartz, which Moser is famous for and remains among the very few to use it in the world. A combination of oxides are is used to colour the Moser crystal, which is which is made without the use of lead not leaded and therefore ecologically sound. The base mixture is then fired, melted into enamel, and then cast into hand-crafted wooden moulds. The final object is shaped by air blown by Moser’s skilled Masters. Water, finally, is used to cool down the mould and the hands of the glassmaker.
Czapek Moser
The hourglass was built to count out five minutes that flow from top to bottom. “In today’s hectic life, it is important to take five minutes, be that to meditate, cultivate self-awareness, breathe, or pray,” explains Xavier de Roquemaurel with a smile. “Five minutes for yourself can put you in just the right spirit for your daily routines.”
Czapek Moser
The Czapek & Cie and Moser Glassworks “Sands of Time” hourglass will be produced in 18 pieces only and will be on sale in the two brands’ boutiques and exclusive retailers at a price of CHF 5,000 from May 2019.

About Czapek
François Czapek was a Czech-born Polish watchmaker who fled to Geneva in 1832 after fighting in the Polish Uprising. He started his own atelier and, in 1839, entered into a partnership with Antoine Norbert de Patek, introducing him to the world of watchmaking. In 1845, at the end of their partnership, he created Czapek & Cie and achieved considerable success. He became the official watchmaker of Napoleon III and opened what was most likely the first watchmaking boutique on Place Vendôme in Paris. He also wrote a book, in which he shared his passion and knowledge about watchmaking with his contemporaries. Sharing passion became the driver behind the company’s rebirth in 2015. The three initial entrepreneurs have now become 250 watch-loving shareholders supporting the company and turning its revival into a remarkable (ad)venture. The company’s first model, Quai des Bergues No.33, based on an original Czapek pocket watch, won the Public Prize of the Grand Prix d’ Horlogerie in Geneva in November 2016. It features a beautiful enamel dial and a seven-day proprietary movement that combines exclusive design with perfect craftsmanship. The company’s second collection, a suspended Tourbillon with a second time-zone, was launched one year later in 2017. The first Czapek chronograph, Faubourg de Cracovie, was unveiled at Baselworld 2018. The company has its headquarters and a boutique in Geneva, Switzerland.
About Moser Glassworks
The luxury crystal brand is named after Ludwig Moser, who established his own engraving workshop and glass shop near the famous Market Colonnade in Karlovy Vary, in March 1857. Within a quarter-century, he had laid the foundations for glassworks, where master glass-blowers, cutters, painters and engravers created unique art works from pure, un-leaded crystal. Luxury beverage sets, decorative objects and Moser master-engravings are popular items among fans of original crystal objects the world round. In the Czech Republic, Moser is perceived as the most luxurious Czech brand.

2018 faculty soccer season: The highest 25 gamers who can be again subsequent 12 months
The declaration deadline for underclassmen desirous about the 2018 NFL Draft has come and gone. Barring some surprises this week when the official checklist is launched on Thursday, we all know who’s staying and who’s going. With that in thoughts, it is time to stay up for the 2018 faculty soccer season and its greatest returning gamers.
Initially, this was going to be an inventory of 18 for ’18, however narrowing down faculty soccer’s premier gamers to an inventory of lower than 20 with out leaving out some massive names is inconceivable. So the checklist was expanded to 25; even nonetheless, no checklist like that is ever totally full.
Regardless of the great lack of star energy to the draft, the next gamers undoubtedly imply the world to their respective groups. Based mostly on season-long grades from Professional Soccer Focus, together with different stats and measurables, listed below are the highest 25 returning gamers for subsequent season. And if there is a participant lacking that ought to be included, worry not — that is what All-American groups are for.
25. Drew Lock, QB, Missouri: Lock was faculty soccer’s most prolific quarterback within the second half of the season with 33 touchdowns in October and November. Can new offensive coordinator Derek Dooley, who has by no means coached quarterbacks or led an offense, not screw this up?
24. Cece Jefferson, DE, Florida: Florida’s 2017 season was a catastrophe, however Jefferson most definitely was not. A productive edge rusher, Jefferson led the group in sacks (Four.5), tackles for loss (13.5) and quarterback hurries (six). He is their greatest participant coming again, which is sweet information for first-year coach Dan Mullen.
23. Hjalte Froholdt, OL, Arkansas: Bret Bielema’s last season as Arkansas’ coach did not function many vivid spots, however the Hogs nonetheless had a few studs alongside the O-line. With Frank Ragnow gone, this line belongs to Froholdt, who is likely one of the high run-blocking guards within the nation, based on PFF.
22. David Sills V, WR, West Virginia: Sills was a Biletnikoff finalist who tied for first within the nation with 18 touchdowns. Nevertheless, he did not file a single receiving rating as soon as quarterback Will Grier was misplaced for the season with a hand harm.
21. Jake Browning, QB, Washington: You possibly can’t precisely go away a quarterback who’s led his group to a playoff look and a New 12 months’s Six bowl in consecutive years off of the checklist of greatest returning gamers. He additionally holds the college file for landing passes with 78.
20. Andrew Wingard, DB, Wyoming: The Cowboys had a widely known NFL prospect in quarterback Josh Allen final season, however over the previous few seasons, Wingard has been the group’s extra constant participant. An affect participant since he was a freshman, Wingard returns as probably the most productive and top-graded safeties within the nation. He led the Mountain West in tackles in 2016 and completed with 114 final season. PFF additionally grades him as the highest returning security, rating him within the high 10 in each run help and cross protection.
19. Cameron Smith, LB, USC: He is ol’ dependable. Smith led the Trojans in tackles in every of the previous two seasons and will very properly have led the group as a freshman in 2015 if he hadn’t been restricted by harm. Smith is not the most effective pure athlete amongst linebackers, however at this level in his profession, it is laborious to argue towards the manufacturing. The group captain is all the time across the ball and is likely one of the surest issues on protection that you will discover on any group, anyplace.
18. Byron Murphy, CB, Washington: Going with Murphy requires a leap of religion. He’s among the many extra inexperienced gamers on what may very well be the most effective secondary in faculty soccer subsequent season. He appeared in simply six video games as a redshirt freshman in 2017 — all begins — and missed the meat of the schedule with a damaged foot. Nevertheless, when he was wholesome, he was very good. Murphy had two picks in his first recreation towards Rutgers and completed the 12 months with strong back-to-back performances within the Apple Cup and Fiesta Bowl. He allowed only one landing with 13 passes deflected or incomplete on 22 targets. Murphy enters subsequent season with tons of promise as one of many high returning cowl corners per PFF (minimal 300 snaps) and may very well be among the best within the nation this time subsequent 12 months.
17. Khalil Tate, QB, Arizona: There was a six-week stretch midseason when Tate couldn’t be stopped. “Mr. October” was must-see tv — for those who have been inclined to remain up late, that’s — with 1,207 of his 1,411 dashing yards coming between Oct. 7 and Nov. 11. He was pure leisure. How he is utilized below new coach Kevin Sumlin can be fascinating to comply with; for all of the speak about Tate as a runner, he was at instances an environment friendly passer. Now, can he do all of it season lengthy?
youtube
16. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin: Taylor wasn’t merely the best freshman again in 2017, he was probably the most productive backs by any classification: 1,977 yards on 299 makes an attempt, 6.6 yards per rush and 13 touchdowns. His recreation is incomplete — Wisconsin does not make the most of working backs within the cross recreation a lot, PFF grades him poorly in cross safety and ball safety has been a difficulty — however he has loads of time to spherical out all the things. Proper now, he is a yards and landing machine, and there is nothing flawed with that.
15. Grasping Williams, CB, LSU: If Williams’ greatest days are theoretically nonetheless forward of him, what does that say a few redshirt freshman who completed tied for first within the SEC with six interceptions, and is the convention’s main returning nook in passes damaged up and passes defended? The person’s nickname is Grasping, for goodness sake. After all, the signal of an important nook is the absence of stats and Williams excelled there, too. He allowed only one landing on 71 targets and returns as one of many top-graded cowl corners within the recreation.
14. Dakota Allen, LB, Texas Tech: What? A Texas Tech defensive participant? Yep, and he is bonafide. The previous “Final Likelihood U” star is a do-it-all monster for a Crimson Raiders’ protection that was an improved unit from 2016. Because the “Will” in Tech’s Four-2-5, Allen gave the Crimson Raiders somewhat run protection, somewhat cross protection and a few disruption (six turnovers compelled, 16 whole pressures). Maybe no particular person affect participant meant extra to at least one facet of the ball than Allen given Texas Tech’s historical past of defensive futility.
13. A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss: The Rebels had about 4 avatars at large receiver and Brown was the best with 1,252 yards and 11 touchdowns. His 23 compelled missed tackles is ridiculous for a man who weighs in at 225 kilos. His open-field strikes and talent to catch 50-50 balls in visitors, plus his catch radius, makes him a tough wideout to defend. He is only a dominant, bodily presence on offense, plain and easy.
12. David Montgomery, RB, Iowa State: Montgomery did not get the identical hype as Bryce Love, Rashaad Penny or Saquon Barkley. He did not have the identical numbers, both, although 1,146 yards is nothing to disregard. Nevertheless, he was the most effective finisher amongst working backs final season. This dude runs laborious. He isn’t the sort to go down on the primary and even the second hit together with his 110 missed tackles. Actually, he is the highest returning working again within the nation by grade per PFF. Yep, over Love. There’s not a variety of flash about him on paper, however he is the man who will get the job executed as effectively as doable.
11. Devin Singletary, RB, FAU: Singletary was a beast for Lane Kiffin’s offense, which meant Kiffin rode his major again again and again till defenses could not take it anymore. Singletary led the nation in dashing touchdowns (32) by a large margin and his 6.38 yards per carry have been outstanding contemplating he additionally tied for first in whole carries with 301. And for all of the speak about Love as faculty soccer’s most explosive working again — and he was, general — Singletary truly tied for first with Penny with 37 rushes of 15 yards or extra.
10. McKenzie Milton, QB, UCF: Milton returns as faculty soccer’s best quarterback by passer ranking (119.5 per PFF) after main UCF on an undefeated run final season. Milton does not have conventional quarterback measurement at a listed 5-foot-11 and 170 kilos, however he has conventional quarterback expertise with 96 deep throws and a 9.9 yards per try common. He is now below the steerage of recent UCF coach Josh Heupel, a former quarterback himself, who coached Mizzou’s Drew Lock into one in all faculty soccer’s most achieved passers.
9. Nick Bosa, DL, Ohio State: He is not simply Joey Bosa’s youthful brother. Nick Bosa has established himself as one in all faculty soccer’s premier edge rushers with 65 whole pressures. That is second amongst returning gamers. That is additionally spectacular given how gifted the Buckeyes have been at defensive position and their “all defensive finish cross rush bundle” that terrorized offenses on a weekly foundation. The loopy factor is, Bosa can truly play extra snaps this 12 months.
eight. Dalton Risner, OL, Kansas State: Offensive linemen are the hardest positions to judge, however Risner is bonafide with the very best grade of any deal with final season, based on PFF. Risner has some versatility about him as he began at each heart and deal with in his profession. He is a first-team All-Massive 12 choice and a pillar in an offense that prides itself on carrying down defenses with ground-and-pound dashing assaults.
7. Clelin Farrell, DL, Clemson: Christian Wilkins (see beneath) is the anchor of Clemson’s vaunted D-line, however Farrell was extra of the stat monster. He led that unit with 46 whole pressures — an excellent quantity contemplating that strain can come from any spot alongside this line — and 66 tackles. He would have been a surefire first-round choose who as a substitute will make another go of it in faculty.
6. Will Grier, QB, West Virginia: Grier is the most effective pure passer the Mountaineers have had in a era and will go away the college as essentially the most gifted signal-caller to ever undergo this system. He is PFF’s highest-graded returning quarterback and throws the deep ball higher than anybody. West Virginia’s offense went kaput when Grier injured his hand towards Texas, which reveals how helpful he was, too. With receiver David Sills V again, West Virginia ought to have essentially the most formidable QB-WR duo within the nation, a la Mason Rudolph and James Washington. On that word, with no Rudolph and no Baker Mayfield, the ‘Eers have a uncommon legit window to make a Massive 12 title run.
5. Sutton Smith, DE, Northern Illinois: There’s positively a case that Smith is the most effective edge rusher in faculty soccer. He tied for first nationally in sacks (14), and was tops in tackles for loss (29.5) and whole pressures with 87 — 21 greater than the following man. Nevertheless, he additionally graded properly in run protection and had simply seven missed tackles all season with 778 snaps taken. The one-time working again has made a reputation for himself coming off the sting.
Four. Hint McSorley, QB, Penn State: With Barkley gone, McSorley turns into Penn State’s Heisman hopeful. He is earned that distinction, although, as few quarterbacks have been nearly as good in clutch conditions as he was final 12 months. His game-winning landing throw towards Iowa stays one of many prettiest from the ’17 season. And he went 12-of-freakin’-12 on third downs for 193 yards and two touchdowns within the Nittany Lions’ Fiesta Bowl win over Washington. McSorley gives you some head-scratchers, however with the sport on the road, he is the man you need.
youtube
Three. Ed Oliver, DL, Houston: Giant grownup son dominance. That is about the one solution to describe Oliver as he enters his third, and sure last, 12 months of school. Oliver was the most effective run stopper amongst defensive tackles based on PFF and he wasn’t too shabby in cross rush conditions with 17 hurries and 27 whole pressures. The Outland Trophy winner is such a mismatch that he calls for fixed consideration and double groups — and oftentimes that is nonetheless a fruitless effort. He is essentially the most gifted inside defensive participant within the nation.
2. Christian Wilkins, DL, Clemson: The reality is, you might make a case for any of Clemson’s beginning defensive linemen to be on this checklist and even this excessive on it. They’re all coming again for the 2018 season after being arguably the most effective group within the nation a 12 months in the past. What separates Wilkins from others, although, is his versatility. He can command double groups with strain as a defensive deal with or rush off the sting as an finish. His ft and quickness for a man his measurement (6-foot-Four, 300 kilos) is a uncommon combo. That is what makes him probably the most particular gamers within the nation.
1. Bryce Love, RB, Stanford: Love’s father despatched out textual content messages to a number of shops that the Heisman runner-up was coming again for one more season, which is nice for school soccer. Love was a big-play machine with 13 rushes of at the very least 50 yards — a FBS file — and a faculty file 2,118 yards (and he did it for half the season on one good ankle). With 36 “explosive runs” of 15 yards or extra and a explosive run proportion of 13.6, no every-down again was higher at getting the large play.
Honorable mentions: Devin White, LB, LSU; Anthony Johnson, WR, Buffalo; AJ Dillon, RB, Boston School; Mitch Hyatt, OL, Clemson; Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor; Greg Gaines, DL, Washington; Rodney Anderson, RB, Oklahoma; J.Ok. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State; Rashan Gary, DL, Michigan; Cam Akers, RB, Florida State; Jerry Tillery, DL, Notre Dame; Myles Gaskin, Washington, RB; Jalen Hurts, QB, Alabama; Ryan Finley, QB, NC State; Te’Von Coney, LB, Notre Dame

Disclaimer
When taking a family genetic history on an actual client, it is essential that the information is accurate. Please inform the person you are interviewing that they do NOT need to disclose information that they wish to keep confidential. If the adult participant decides not to share information, please write, “Does not want to disclose.”
Directions
Refer to the examples in Chapter 4 of your textbook that discuss development of a genogram.
Download the NR305_Family_Genetic_History_Form from Doc Sharing. You will document the adult participant’s family genetic history using this MS Word document.
Complete the family genetic history using the information that the adult participant is willing to share with you. The focus of this course is on the normal “healthy” individual so your paper does not need to contain much medical/nursing detail. This paper does not require APA formatting, but you are expected to write clearly and use proper grammar and spelling.
Developing a pictorial genogram using symbols to identify certain relationships (e.g., divorced, sibling, deceased, etc.), may provide more insight, however, drawing may be difficult to accomplish with MS Word, therefore you are not expected to use symbols, lines, or other drawing elements. Instead, describe the relationships among the various people in the adult participant’s family’s genetic history. Remember, the goal is not to learn how to draw with Word, but to gather information about the family and recognize its significance to the adult participant and that person’s health.
Save the completed form by clicking on “Save as” and add your last name to the file name, e.g., “NR305_Family_Genetic_History_Form_Smith”.
Submit the completed form to the Family Genetic History basket in the Dropbox by Sunday, 11:59 p.m. MT at the end of Week 3. Please post questions about this assignment to the weekly Q & A Forums so the entire class may view the answers.

Blackrock Hits Bigly Silver in Nevada
Source: Bob Moriarty for Streetwise Reports 07/21/2020
Bob Moriarty discusses the company's off-the-charts drill results at its Nevada silver project.
Blackrock is an advertiser. I have participated in several private placements so naturally I am biased. Their website is pretty good and presentation excellent.
