It's ironic that I first finished collecting Rhodes while I was rolling for Ines on her debut banner, and, thanks to newer RI ops being either welfares or on banners I was interested in, it stayed blue for so long that Ines herself has moved to another faction.

A Kazdelian Rescue - Experience and Narration by Dr. Eve (Part II.5)

In the previous post, I mentioned the situation with Mostima and Fiammetta, but I forgot to add that this is one of the sweetest stories among the rest. Keep in mind, all of them are adorable.

In Part I, we meet Nymph.

In Part 2, there's Mitm.

In Part 3, we greet Mudrock, who had a problem with one of the Colossus and Nymph was there to actually help. For reasons that were not disclosed, the Revenant is very afraid of her.

In Part 4, in comes Crownie.

Crownie Mantle is a designer who started from Kazdel, but due to her weird ideas during a very much military regime, she was chased out. She went to Ursus where she worked as an apprentice, but Ursus being against Sarkaz kind of, didn't want to let her go into fashion at first.

Then, she turned around and actually not only made a brand for herself, but we have it IN arknights. She made the MARTHE brand,

Correct, the gopnik skins.

That being said, she returned to Kazdel when things calmed down a little and now dresses herself extravagantly while being poor enough to live in just a shack with barely two coins to rub together, with the vision of a Kazdel that will benefit from the items she makes - mainly clothes and souvenirs.

Which are currently too expensive for anybody to afford and too fragile for any sane person to take home.

But she has a vision and I love her for it.

By the way, as of writing this, her Wikipedia page is down and I am sad to say the least.

In Part 5, we meet Qalaiša whom I'm no familiar with, because she's been only in IS4 and is just one encounter. We are so very gracefully allowed to gaze upon her gorgeous model.

And in the final part, we meet Tin Man. Who is, as we figured out, a Revenant. Not just any Sarkaz in a weird Tin body.

That being said, after Qalaiša leaves Nymph for 10 minutes alone in her house, Nymph gets into trouble with an item Qalaiša had been working on.

And just as I sit and wait for the Nachzehrer King to do something weird (always, always, always forgetting that Sarkaz don't normally become mean to each other), I get blown out of the water with this conversation:

With that I've exhausted my list of quotes I have not seen circling the internet. Of course, we have my all-time favourite Mitm: "Oh, I forgot, you can't read." and the one where Nymph goes:

Nymph: "You promised you'd fix my box" Tin Man: "I lied."

But I'm sure you've seen those.

A Kazdelian Rescue - Experience and Narration by Dr. Eve (Part II)

I'm not going to go full extensive mode with the story of the event this time, because there's not that much to say overall. We're going to go over some funny moments, the root of the story and I'm going to show you these gorgeous models you surely have never seen before in your life.

Starting with

I did it and I am a proud owner of a LvlMaxE2 Mitm if you have not been aware from the previous post.

I went ahead with the stages of course and because I finally have a vanguard I want to use (no offence to the Vigna enjoyers out there) I could do TeekazKnights for the entire run. Ignore Shalem.

It wasn't too bad, but it definitely had that one moment where I really didn't know what to do in KR-5 CM because of these cannons... Explode my operators and don't take anything but Arts or True Damage, yeah that's a wonderful idea.

I had only Surtr and Hoederer to deal with one side, but by the time they were up-- Man, it was a mess.

Anyways, the cars were not that big of a deal and the boss was... Well, it's a year 2 boss, the only thing he's scary for is when he's on the boat, but I dealt with that by putting Logos down for 20 seconds.

Story-wise, here's the premmise:

The Liches are doing their best trying to appease the Souls that are inside the Kazdelian Furnace (which is fuelled by these Revenants and that heat goes towards nodes throughout the city to make it more hospitable) because after the war with Victoria, things are calming down.

Wisadel's gun contains one very old Revenant who wants to join his kin so they can all go with peace. Except, they're being very mean about it - logically, they've been banished there for aeons and only know hatred and pain.

This is where I went ahead on my own and read a little about Revenants because I forgot what they were all about:

Revenants are the collective souls of Sarkaz who were unfortunately sacrificed in the summoning of the first Amnannam by the Farchaser, the first King of Sarkaz who moulded his tribesmen into the image of man through Originium, during the "Descending War" against the Elders' invasion upon Kazdel. The summoning of the first Catastrophe and Originim caused these innocent Sarkaz to forever lose their material bodies and turn them into sentient spiritual beings.

The Revenants have the ability to possess non-living things to manifest themselves physically. One of the notable Revenants are those possessing the giant airship built by the Military Commission of Kazdel.

Cue, the Revenants inside the ship and those in the Furnace get angry and the cannons from the ship shoot a blast at the Furnace and blow it up only a little.

Pieces of the furnace are now around Kazdel, but some of them are secretly haunted by Revenants, so now somebody needs to collect them before they possess a person and do something weird.

I love starting the story with Sarkaz expletive. Feels like home.

One of the funniest parts of this event is the image of Manfred being in the sky just to observe the whole Litch ritual that's happening below, in the Furnace. Then, the Oldies get into an argument and one of them gets really pissy.

Children's voices: "Who's. That. Pokemon?!"

It's the Ancient Sarkaz Revenant.

Insert Nymph, one of the only Djall remaining in Kazdel, who is baited by the Lich Ermengarde to do most of the hard work and that includes keeping people away from the Furnace node on this specific spot. Nobody takes her seriously, but also nobody bullies her about it.

Knowing that a part of the Furnace is blown, Nymph accepts a second quest from Ermengarde to collect the parts that have Revenants in them, because now those in the Furnace are sad that they're not together.

Why is Nymph the perfect person to go Revenant collecting?

Djall are one of the ten surviving ancient pure-blooded Sarkaz tribes of the Sarkaz Royal Court, but there are not many of the Djall left in modern Kazdel due to the chaotic situation of the city and their high sensitivity to negative emotions. They're also the only Sarkaz tribe that cannot be affected by the Revenants' powers.

Thus, she goes on an adventure to talk to people who potentially might have heard/seen something about the Revenant fragments and is mainly helped around by Pohl Mitm, who is the Consultant for a section of the Sarkaz (basically a eunuch advisor, but they listen to him only sometimes).

Just another day of being in the town square, minding your business, selling your wares, listening to music and eating bread. Just a normal day in Kazdel where nothing really happens.

Colour me 15 shades of surprise when I saw that Mostima and Fiammetta were not only here, but we had special interactions with them? I didn't read any of Guide Ahead, but I know these two are like water and oil and it's very funny to put them together and rattle the bottle until it's bubbling.

They are exactly the way I imagine they'd be from listening to Dr. Lundi.
