nathan foad & kristian nairn bbc broadcast afterparty stream highlights for those who missed it:
nathan wore a huge badge with "don't ask me about season 2" written on it
he propped up his phone with his copy of jeanette mccurdy's book "I'm glad my mom died"
con o'neill joined the stream as a surprise special guest!
kristian told us that in season 2 the ship set on the soundstage hasn't been rigged to rock back and forth constantly like it was in season 1
he also revealed in not so many words that at least wee john is getting a new outfit this season because he said he likes his "upcoming outfits" more than the one he wore in season 1. we can infer the rest of the crew will probably receive new or updated outfits as well
there doesn't seem to be any plans in the works for a blooper reel to be released as far as the cast are aware :((
kristian said watching the scenes of young stede being bullied were almost triggering for him, and he thinks they sold stede's trauma really well in ep1
nathan had an allergic reaction during the filming of ep1 to the fabric they used to make the flags and had bad eczema for the rest of filming as a result
nathan had to have his hair curled multiple times before shooting every day and lost a lot of hair during shooting as a result
nathan and kristian have both said they will be doing conventions in the uk this year but can't reveal which ones until they're officially announced
nathan got a tattoo for his 30th birthday; he's going to reveal it once it heals properly
nathan called himself "a queer young waif" and had a whole section at the end dedicated to asking kristian and con questions about himself
they've said they're planning to do another stream after the final episode of season 1 airs on bbc in a few weeks time
reminder to everyone in the uk that every episode of season 1 is available to watch now for free on iplayer!!!

Warhammer 40,000 is in safe hands with this partnership. Dave was responsible for one of the first ever Warhammer animations, the iconic introduction to the original Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War game. He shared a few words with us on his emotional return to the 41st Millennium:
“Twenty years ago, I directed my first Warhammer trailer for Dawn of War – in fact, it might have been my first trailer I've ever directed. Hard to remember that far back. “Now, two decades later, returning to this universe feels like coming home, and it's been a deeply personal homecoming. I lost my father while we were writing this episode. I received the call during a writing session with Games Workshop. The themes of legacy and control that we explore in the story resonate with that loss, making this one of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever worked on. “Being part of something as vast and beloved as Warhammer is both a privilege and a responsibility. These worlds, these characters – they don’t belong to me or to anyone else out here in LA who borrows them for an ephemeral moment. They belong to the teams in the creative dens and factory floors in Nottingham, who share what they build with a passionate fanbase that has kept this universe thriving for four decades. “All I hope is that we’ve made them and you proud — and maybe, wherever he is, my old man too.”
Dave Wilson, Supervising Director of Secret Level | Director Warhammer 40,000 Episode.
!
...
Episode set to arrive December 10th, with Clive Standen returning as Lt Titus! Set after the end of Space Marine 2.

⸻  TOHEEB JIMOH. HE/HIM / have you ever heard of SNAP OUT OF IT by arctic monkeys, well, it describes EMMANUEL ‘MANNY’ TAIWO  to a tee! the twenty-four year-old, and STAFF AT KNOCK OUT GYM/LIFEGUARD was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say HE is more aloof or more POSITIVE instead? anyway, they remind me of a perfectly lined up collection of doctor who action figures, worn converse covered in doodles, the sound of a referees whistle, a half eaten pack of gum and late night gaming sessions, maybe you’ll bump into them soon!
time in notting hill ; 2 years.
ABOUT.
Name: Emmanuel Taiwo Nicknames: Manny Age: Twenty-four Date of Birth: 1st December 1998 Birthplace: Nottingham, UK Occupation: Staff at Knock Out Gym/Lifeguard Romantic/sexual orientation: Biromantic/bisexual
Manny has been into sports for as long as he can remember. Doctor Who, too. He’s been watching religiously since the revival in 2005. He was seven and he rather quickly became obsessed. He used to run around the living room with his brother pretending to ‘exterminate’ one another every Saturday night.
Sports was just something he did. Football on Sunday mornings was something he started at five and has yet to give up, even if he is the ref now instead of a player.
His younger life was chaos, his family moved around a lot, but he made the most of it. He never really felt at home anywhere though, so making friends was difficult.
They finally settled somewhere just north of Watford, so by his late teens, Manny would head on into London a lot with both his family and friends he was finally able to make.
By the time he hit eighteen, he headed into the city to study sports science at one of the local universities. That was when he really began to live his life, to find a real home for himself. So much of a home, that the friends he made in uni he still lives with until this day.
His life in London is pretty similar to his life elsewhere, but he’s busy all the time. When he’s not working reception at the gym or lifeguarding at one of the nearby pools, he’s out overseeing under 12′s football matches on the weekends. He may not play football himself, but he’s never been able to step away.
He’s big into conventions, too. If there’s a comic con in town with celebrities for him to meet and friends for him to hang out with, he’s there. With that came a big love for cosplay and he’s been known to spend a little too much money on collecting screen accurate items. Still, who cares how much it costs if you’re passionate about it, right?
WANTED CONNECTIONS.
- brother. ( very close in age. ) - flatmates. ( 3/3. ) - conventions/cosplay friends. - sport friends. - unlikely enemies. - possible exes.

. 2022 was a year I’ll most probably never forget. Amongst all the chaos and momentary heartbreak we made it through. All of us should be somewhat proud that we’re still here, withstanding and facing up to our demons, choosing to put our loved ones first, forming a life worth living for a better tomorrow all whilst never forgetting our worth. My ever increasing bucket list somehow decreased massively this year. Some I had expected to tick off, others I never saw coming, whilst a few weren’t even on my bucket list but I’m so undeniably happy I was able to experience them. So amid the twists and turns that was my life, my rollercoaster adventure this past year, what were my highlights… • For my 29th Birthday, (w/ my dad and sister) we spent the day at the Harry Potter Studios, I’ve always wanted to experience Hogwarts in the Snow! • I was able to visit London temple three times this year and Preston Temple twice. • I met Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill and got to experience my second comic con. • I was able to see Ed Sheeran, Maisie Peters and Billie Eilish (x2) live in concert, my sister and I even made the final cut of Billie’s Concert film several times! • Me and my best friend went on several little adventures around the UK. We visited Birmingham, Nottingham, Skegness, London, Lancaster, Chelmsford, Southend-on-sea and Rochester. • Managed to squeeze in extra trips to Alton Towers and Thorpe Park Resorts with close friends. (I’ve never in my life gone from being repeatedly soaked to bone dry in the space of 11 hours, I have never craved a fresh pair of socks more in my life, than I had that day). • Fell in love with my best friend and called it official, but kept it to ourselves. 💕🤫🤐 • He too planned a day out and booked an experience of a life time! That being the chance to meet, sit, commune, touch, feed and be one with 6 foxes!!! 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊 2022 truly brought so many incredible life changing experiences for me, some I’ve not even shared with you all yet. Upon reflection I feel a sense of achievement and a sense of excitement for the year ahead. 2023 let’s make it a great one! Wishing you all the best! ✨💖 (at Happy Place) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoYJNBVMcoO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

#notizie #news #breakingnews #cronaca #politica #eventi #sport #moda Read the full article

Was planning on doing a zine on the theme of “Modern Day Fantasy” for Notts Comic Con later this year, but I feel I've kind of exhausted on the idea now. I think I'm just taking what I have already, unless something grabs me before then.
