Everyone's swarming the bookstore like it's the hottest ticket in town, not just the kiddos, mind you. Grannies and their ilk are snatching up Harry Potter like it's the latest best thing on Oprah's reading list. Curiosity got the better of me, and I went ahead and digitally snagged all seven for my Kindle. Surprisingly enough, I plowed through the first two in under 48 hours. Flashback to the days when I couldn't care less about the wizarding world – skipped the whole craze during my childhood, caught a snooze during the second film at the theater with friends. Now, I get the hype, but it's a solid "meh" from me – a flat two out of five stars.

We’ve had Dog (Calhoun) since he was 6wks, and he was born in October 2020 (a real Covid baby but that’s another post), then we found Cat (Remoulade) in April 2024 and Cal’s face in this pic sums up how he’s felt about the addition since Remy moved in the main house in late May.

I have to make sure I really play up what a Cool Dude! Cal is whenever Remy is in the same room bc it seems like his feelings are a little hurt that everyone else thinks the cat is so fun.

Yeah I think there's definitely a lot of truth in that. And honestly I don't really get why that was necessary, but then again I'm not a fan (#notafan) of the current themes of the show so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Okra Away! . At the request of my kids’ mom, am attempting okra for the first time ✊🏼 . Read they have sensitive roots, so created some high-tech biodegradable pots out of toilet paper tubes 😎👍 . In the past, have found those TPots don’t really break down very fast, but I think that was due to me watering daintily from the top—this time gonna make them Wet Ass Planters with a good thick bottom watering. . Good thing okra likes the heat cause it’s gettin’ warm in here 😳 .
