First of all, happy anniversary!!! I wish you both happiness and health for many more years 💖

Now about Wuko, I think that Mako given he had a few relationnships before he has a geeeeneral idea about anniversaries. I don't think he got to celebrate years lol but yes those very sticky-too lovey first months anniversaries. I think that their first year would hit him like a train, he didn't realize how happy he would be for so long? He thinks he looks chill but he is a mess! He circles on what to present, what to wear, where to go- please someone put him down from his misery!

Wu would be planning them from so long ahead, he probably has lists on what to buy, what are Mako's favorite drinks and meals, positions, the whole thing

I agree that Mako would be a bit of a mess and feeling confused about what the 'right' thing is to do for a one year anniversary. And Wu has it all together lol.

Oh god what if Mako has to ask HIS BROTHER for advice. Bolin's got a few years with opal under his belt and I think he's pretty good at planning dates. But how mortifying for Mako to have to ask his little bro for anniversary advice. Meanwhile Wu is like "Mako buddy don't sweat it I've been planning our anniversary since the second you said you liked me."
