The Breakfast Babies went in for another checkup today. They’re 5 weeks old now. Pancake has a little bit of an eye infection going on so she has to get some eye ointment, otherwise everyone is healthy.

There’s no question that The Flat One’s chest is starting to round out. She’s also able to climb up onto the hammocks in their cage, whereas before only Bacon and Pancake could do that.

The Flat One has also earned her real name and now has Bianca on her records. However she also will always be The Flat One to me.

I just wanted to share this excerpt of a 2020 (?) interview of Nuno Pinto, former Prema driver coach. Here he talks about Lewis, Esteban and most especially Lance.

Maybe, just maybe, people would be just a even a smidge understanding of Lance. You can critizice him for his ontrack performance but at least try to be objective.

Interview is originally in portuguese but translated using google translate. If you have the time the entire interview is worth the read.

The reason why I included Esteban's part is maybe people can actually learn from him. Even when Esteban had the life and the difficulties that he had, he understood that everyone else also had their own difficulties to overcome, no matter where they come from. If Esteban, of all people, can be understanding of Lance, why are other people seemingly incapable of doing the same?

I was scandalized until I found out she never realized Bianca was a person since she never played DAI. She really thought this mf was dating his crossbow 😭

Bianca and Nico di Angelo’s story is equal parts heartbreaking and hilarious, because imagine this. You are two Venetian children (aged 12 and 10 respectively) who don’t speak a lick of English yet you’re dropped off in the middle of 1930s Las Vegas. Bianca di Angelo definitely would have gotten used to refer to herself as we.

As in, she and Nico would have spend so much time together doing everything together that at some point it just becomes a habit to say we are doing this.

We are going to class, we are going to sleep, we are going to eat.

It gets kinda hard to break when she joins the Hunters and all of a sudden is we expect it's only Bianca on her own.

Bianca startled. "A gift? Why would she think that?"

"I don't know." A horrible twinge in Sadira's insides made her want to avoid thinking too deeply on the matter, but it was too important to avoid. "Have you ever heard of something like that happening here?"

"Never. Well..." A puzzled look passed over Bianca's face before she frowned towards the window. She lowered her voice to a whisper. "You do hear rumors once in a while. Nothing anyone can prove, though."

Sordid rumors, Sadira was certain. The hazy specter of the banquet hall glowed in the back of her mind. Golden lanterns swung in a humid breeze, ushering her to a long table of faceless guests chattering around her.

She pushed free of the memory before it led her down the darkened steps of the water gardens to find what lay at the base of a fountain.

Bianca's attempts at discretion had been for naught.

"What kind of rumors?" Han asked.
