Basic Drainage Accessories
Plumbing is necessity for every domestic and commercial buildings and so are the tools used. To install or perform a difficult repair, a fair few accessories are required. The purpose of a plumbing tool depends on the type of damage. Nowadays, CCTV camera equipment Sydney is also being used for better, time-efficient plumbing. Here’s a list of key drainage accessories:
1) Screwdrivers And Pliers- There are several varieties of screwdrivers needed as a part of drainage tools Sydney. Most plumbers own an entire of screwdrivers for attaching or fixing every loose screw. Pliers like circlip, locking, fencing, linesman and long nose pliers are the most frequently used ones in the business of plumbing.
2) Wrenches And Cutters- They form an integral part of every plumbing method whether traditional or modern. Basin, chain, open end hub and adjustable wrenches are among the most common wrenches used in drainage job. They are used to adjust nuts and bolts. Pipe, tube, bolt and rebar cutters are the four most important cutters used as plumbing accessories.
3) Auger- These are specifically used for blockages in toilets and consists of a long rod having a bend at the end with rubber sleeve that goes inside a toilet to unclog it without damaging it.
4) Coupling And Fittings- They are used to repair broken pipes. Coupling joins two identical pipes and they cannot be removed without the damaging the same. Fittings are used to join pipes of different sizes in order to measure or regulate water flow. For more serious and intricate joining, mechanical flaring tools are used.
5) Plumber’s Tape- When a pipe is being opened to resolve an issue, plumber’s tape is wrapped around the threads so as to prevent leakage or any damage.
6) Drain Pipes- These are the main components in any drainage system. Old buildings have cast iron and galvanized pipes. In modern homes, they are being replaced by PVC pipes due to their inertness towards rust forming and owing to their high durability.
7) Drain Snake- They are used where the blockages are small but significant and near the drain opening. They come in both electric and manual variety.
8) Drain Camera- CCTV camera equipment Sydney is used as a part of plumbing accessory to inspect the damage and assess the repair. Monitors and camera controllers also form a part of this effective method.
9) Water Jetting- High pressure water nozzles are used to clean heavy clogs or debris that has accumulated in the drains. Hydrostatic pumps are utilised where the blockages are overwhelming.
A drainage system is essentially an intricate network of pipes hold together by bolts, screws and fittings. Other accessories just play a part in making or repairing this handiwork. Range of drainage tools Sydney are huge. It is advisable to check the quality of these standard drainage accessories before buying.

This cloud looks good enough to eat.
What a perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Before you freak out — no, there isn't a new human-horse hybrid roaming the streets. This man's head is just completely obscured by his horse's.
