About Student Accommodation
Student accommodation Norwich is getting more and more attention nowadays. As being a human we all require good accommodation for ourself. Most of the times we can discover students searching for flats, flats and houses at various places as they have to shift from here and there for their research. All over the world student accommodation gain popularity and best investment choice. There are many reasons behind the growing demand for student houses, apartments and other accommodation choices.
A human starts studying from his birth and also the process of learning doesn't finish till the end of their life. A common person life nearly half of his living as a student and usually spends the time in learning new points and in studies. A child begins the learning process from their home and then joins college and college to start the actual studies in a formal method. The important thing for students is actually their study and they need to relocate for this. Everybody overlook their home and wants a good accommodation just like the home. College students like to find such kind of accommodation where they can reside independently, enjoy their college student life and can study within a comfortable way.
The towns having more education sources, facilities and institutes need more accommodation facilities with regard to students. Students always have to look from one city to another as well as sometimes from one country to a different for their further studies. Basically have to go from one spot to another I would be worried about the actual accommodation at first and anything else after. It was a difficult scenario in the past but now we have web facility everywhere through which we are able to handle this problem easily. We are able to find and book college student accommodation at any place and by seated at our home.
You will find different types of accommodation available for students. University and college accommodation in which you can find residency halls and university owned houses and houses. And other choice is private or off-campus accommodation. In private accommodation you have options of spreading a flat or house along with friends, can rent an area in shared flat and may rent a room in family house. So you can make a choice between the choices which best suits you as well as your budget. As said previously the cities or nations having more colleges, colleges and education institutes need more student accommodation choices because they attract a number of students every year.

Around 80 people are now thought to have died in the Grenfell Tower blaze but the true death toll may not be known until the end of the year, police have said.
Police have made with at least one person from 106 of the 129 flats in the building.
From those flats, 18 people are dead or assumed dead, while the remaining victims were thought to have been in the other 23 flats whose occupants had not been heard from.
A true total of those killed in the devastating fire may not be known until the end of the year, Metropolitan Police Detective Superintendent Fiona McCormack said today.
The charred shell of Grenfell Tower. Police confirmed today that 80 people are missing presumed dead after the fire, but that it may be months before the true death toll is known
Ms McCormack confirmed more than 60 organisations were involved in the tower’s refurbishment, which is suspected of aiding the spread of the blaze.
A criminal investigation is taking place to establish if charges will be brought against those involved in renovating the building, including manslaughter.
‘We are continuing to seize material on a daily basis and the number of companies and organisations that we know so far had played a role in the refurbishment is over 60,’ Ms McCormack said.
A list of resident thought to have been living in the block at the time of the blaze was ‘not accurate’ police have said
Survivors of the fire were also said to have given statements.
Police have examined ‘every imaginable source’ of information about who was in the building, ‘from government agencies to fast food companies’, she added.
A couple who were missing and assumed dead had actually been on holiday at the time of the blaze, according to the detective.
Ms McCormack said a list of tenants provided to police by the Kensington and Chelsea Tenants Management Organisation, which managed the building, was ‘not accurate’.
She said: ‘We are many months from being able to provide a number which we believe accurately represents the total loss of life inside Grenfell Tower.
‘Only after we have completed a search and recovery operation, which will take until the end of the year.
‘What I can say is that we believe that around 80 people are either dead or sadly missing and I must presume that they are dead.’
Isaac Paulos (pictured, right, with his mother Genet Shawo) lived with his family on the 18th floor of Grenfell Tower but was found dead on the 13th floor, his inquest on Monday heard
Inquests into the death of artist Khadija Saye and her mother, Mary Mendy, were also opened this week
Efforts to establish who was missing in the wake of the fire were focused on talking to friends, families and neighbours of those in Grenfell Tower, Ms McCormack said.
She said: ‘On the first day of our work we were provided with a list by the tenant management organisation of who they had recorded living at Grenfell Tower.
‘We quickly identified by the end of the first day that this list was not accurate.’
Ms McCormack added: ‘What we know is that it would be impossible for anyone to produce a list to show exactly who was at Grenfell Tower that night, that includes the people who were living there or who were visiting.’
The 23 flats which were said to have no survivors were spread between the 11th floor and the 23rd.
Mohamednur Tuccu, 44, was found dead outside the building from inhalation of fire fumes
Number of towers which have failed fire tests rises to 120
The number of tower blocks found to have combustible cladding after failing Government fire safety tests has grown to 120, Theresa May has announced.
The Prime Minister said flammable cladding was found in the high-rise blocks across 37 local authority areas in England in tests carried out in the wake of the Grenfell Tower disaster.
Mrs May said 100% of the cladding samples tested have been found to be combustible and urged local authorities and housing associations to ‘get on’ with fire safety checks without waiting for test results.
A handful of flats are still too unstable for police to carry out further investigation, the officer said.
She added: ‘There are 23 flats that despite huge investigative efforts, we have been unable to trace anyone that lives there.
‘At this stage, we must presume, that no-one in those flats survived, that includes anyone who lived there or was visiting them.’
The detective said: ‘We are working very hard to identity everyone who died in the fire, but the tragic reality is that due to the intense heat of the fire, there are some people we may never identify.
‘Tragically, we are preparing families and loved ones for the fact we many never recover the remains of their loved ones.’
A renewed call was made to groups with lists of suspected victims and those who were living in the building illegally to come forward.
Ms McCormack said: ‘Our aim is the same – we want to understand the true human cost of this tragedy.’
Grenfell Tower cladding was NOT legal, says Theresa May as she admits there are ‘wider questions’ about system of safety inspection
Theresa May vowed a root and branch review of building safety today as she confirmed the Grenfell Tower cladding was not legal.
The Prime Minister said her ‘understanding’ was that the material was not in line with regulations.
She admitted there were ‘wider questions’ about why the system of inspections was not working – but pointed out that issues dated back to the Blair government.
At PMQs today, the Prime Minister said her ‘understanding’ was that the Grenfell Tower cladding was not in line with safety regulations
But Jeremy Corbyn complained that spending cuts had led to ‘cutting corners’ and those suffering were ‘working class communities’.
He demanded the government immediately move to retrofit sprinklers and recruit more firefighters.
The clashes came as the two leaders faced off at PMQs in the Commons for the first time since the election.
Mrs May has been scrambling to cope with the fallout from the Grenfell blaze, which claimed at least 79 lives.
Voters humiliatingly stripped her of her overall majority on June 8 – dashing her hopes of a stronger mandate to push through Brexit.
But Jeremy Corbyn complained that spending cuts had led to ‘cutting corners’ and those suffering were ‘working class communities’
She has now secured a deal with the DUP prop her up in government.
Asked about the cladding – which has been widely blamed for helping spread the blaze up the tower – Mrs May said: ‘My understanding is… (it) was not compliant with the building regulations.’
The PM said she expected a judge to be named soon to take charge of a public inquiry.
‘I do expect us to be able to name a judge soon…the process is the Lord Chief Justice names a judge. What we want to do is to ensure that as the process is going forward for the inquiry that the survivors, the families concerned do have involvement with that,’ she said.
Grenfell cladding fears spread to student halls and care homes as fire chiefs warn 38 hospital buildings are at risk
Fire chiefs said they had identified 38 hospitals which have cladding similar to that at Grenfell Tower – with nine identified as being at the highest risk.
The NHS has ordered 17,000 care homes and hospitals around the country be examined by fire experts in the wake of the tower block blaze which killed at least 79 people.
Nine hospital trusts have been told their premises are deemed to be at risk after similar cladding to Grenfell was found and fire assessment results examined.
Workmen remove cladding from a tower block in Sheffield. The scandal over combustible building covers is now spreading to hospitals, care homes and student accommodation
Workers inspect a tower in Camden’s Chalcots estate, where residents have been evacuated
Neither the National Fire Chiefs Council nor the NHS has released the names of those hospitals affected as urgent action is ordered.
NHS Improvement said it is working with trusts amid worries local fire crews are struggling to deal with the number of checks which need to be carried out.
The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital today confirmed it is testing its cladding as a precautionary measure.
A spokesman said: ‘We have a limited amount of cladding in non-inpatient areas which we are currently testing as a precautionary measure.’
Bosses of Singleton Hospital in Swansea have also order that cladding be removed and inspected as a precaution. The health board said it would take ‘immediate action’ if flaws were found.
Edinburgh Napier University is removing cladding on student halls after it was found to be the same as that used on Grenfell Tower
Student accommodation is also affected by the scandal.  Tests found three of the seven blocks of the Byron House accommodation at Nottingham Trent University’s City Campus were found to contain Raynobond PE, which was also used on Grenfell Tower.
Students have now been re-housed while assessments are carried out. It is not yet clear how many people have been evacuated, or how long the safety checks will take.
Edinburgh Napier University is removing cladding from one of its halls of residence after it was found to be the same type said to have been used on Grenfell Tower.
The university said the insulation behind the cladding on Bainfield Halls is fire proof and the building is fitted with sprinklers and alarms, but the cladding on around a quarter of the building is being removed as a precaution.
The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is testing cladding at its site amid fire fears
Residents have not been evacuated and the university is working with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service during the removal.
The process to remove the cladding is expected to take around four weeks.
The construction firm behind the Shield apartments student flats in Newcastle have also confirmed Reynobond PE panels were used on the block – which are the same panels that were used on Grenfell Tower.
There are no immediate plans to strip the seven-storey student building, which builders insist has ‘very different’ fire safety characteristics to the 27-storey Grenfell Tower.
Neither Newcastle University or Northumbria University has a direct involvement with the property.
