A piece to celebrate the ending of one of my favorite manga, Noragami. I have been reading it for years and it was bittersweet to see it end. Hiyori was one of the characters I drew a lot when I first started drawing, so it was fun to make this piece as almost a tribute to her character and what she means to me

Currently listening to Good Luck Babe by Chappell Roan and am obsessed with Noragami so here’s an idea dump😍

So I absolutely LOVE Hiyori Iki, she’s literally the cutest thing ever. Let’s Imagine her having a crush on a fem!reader!!!

Maybe her and reader met in one of her classes and immediately hit it off. It starts off super friendly, you guys hanging out everyday during school and whenever she’s free.

She notices that she smiles way more when readers around. How she laughs a little harder at your jokes and whenever you’re bickering with Yamashita.

She also notices how her heart seems to beat faster when it’s just the two of you alone. How her face heats up when you go to whisper something im her ear. Getting easily distracted by staring at your face while you’re talking with her.

Hiyori gets SUPER flustered and embarrassed when she gets caught tho! She’s immediately running away the second you notice her staring.

“- then I told him NO! It was obviously a cheap and fake collectors item! Hiyori are you listening to me?”

“Huh? Oh yeah, sorry about that! I kinda got distracted.”

“Since you like staring at me you can take a picture and save it for later, hehe!”

She’s already running away in her phantom form from embarrassment LMAO😭 while she’s afraid of making moves on reader, you have no trouble with teasing her.

Whether it be flipping your hair to catch her attention, or even leaning closer to her whenever you can, reader is an absolute menace. You sort of have an inkling that she feels something for you, but you don’t want to take it the wrong way!

But if anyone were to ask, you wouldn’t deny that you didn’t feel an attraction to the pink eyed girl.

OMG AND SHE GETS EMBARRASSED WHEN HER HUMAN BODY JUST COLLAPSES IN FRONT OF YOU!!

She has to awkwardly watch with a burning face as you try to wake her sleeping body up to no avail. She can’t stop her heart from beating out of her chest when you whisper how she’ll be the death of you with an endearing smile on your face as you call Yamashita and Tabata for backup.

Yato definitely teases Hiyori about her crush on reader. But with how he normally is with anyone, his protective side won’t let anything happen between yall😭

Since reader can’t really see Yato, he’s gonna be the biggest cockblocker without you even knowing. He’s stopped every single advance both you have made on each other just cuz of how protective he is.

In his eyes, no one is ever gonna be good enough for Hiyori, no man, and especially no woman💀 (Hiyori’s honestly done with his bs tho she’s gonna body slam him to the ground soon)

She definitely worries about accidentally dragging reader into the world of the Far Shore, so even when she wants to talk to you about all that she’s been through, there’s that wall that stops her every time. It’s something you’ve noticed too. There’s a point in your friendship that doesn’t get farther than being just friends, since Hiyori feels like she can’t truly tell you everything!

But despite that, she still allows her heart to flutter at the sight of you! Who knows, maybe you’ll finally find out the secrets in her life if you pick up on the hidden world around you.

And with the flashes of people you see in the corner of your eyes that seem to disappear when you try to fully look at them, you’ll be a little closer to the Far Shore than you were before soon enough.
