It’s me… again 👋

Made this little piece cause it stuck with me the fact that Miguel has a record player now and I can imagine him coming from work (the days he actually goes home to sleep) and putting on the record player to listen to the vinyls that reader gave him, even though he has lots of technology he prefers now the soothing sound of the scratch of the vinyl, cause it reminds him of the times he spends with her 🥺

I also added Lyla cause she’d totally be there all the time he puts on the record player to tease Miguel about the fact that she has all those songs in her data base but at the end she’d end up enjoying it too.

Lil update on this:

I posted and draw this before I read the New Year’s one shot and now I’m going crazy about the fact that Miguel is IN FACT using so much the record player 😭😭😭😭 I’m so happy my thoughts keep on being according to canon lol

I just love NVC so much and I cannot stress how much I’m obsessed with the pinky touch of Miguel and reader, it’s been stuck in my mind on a loop since I read it and I needed to do something.

I ‘dusted’ off my Anatomy drawing classes to try to make the hands, although I hate to do hands better if you hide them in drawings it was something I needed to do to scratch the Miguel slowburn itch off my mind, also I had a 4 hour trip on a train and this helped me entertain myself, along listening to the Spider verse soundtrack.

This fanart had me thinking about Gabby walking between them and holding their hands, happily looking at all the decorations and stands with handmade items. She probably got so excited when Dulzura got her makeup done in purple, and even more so when Dulzura revealed it was in her honor. And of course, Dulzura trying to buy her a bow in her fav color - I can see her being so touched by the kind gesture and later wearing it when it was placed on the ofrenda🥺 I also thought about her laughing when she saw her dad's reaction when Dulzura gave him the new nickname 🤣 she was probably giggling and poked his cheek with a, "you're blushing, daddy!" I swear if she was alive, she'd be in cahoots with Lyla to get these fools in love together!!
