Imagine hitting it off with Noel Fielding on The Great British Bake-Off.
Tumblr media
Oh good grief, you were barely managing. Your cake was in the oven, that much was true, and it was getting to be the perfect golden brown color on the outside, so the important bit was getting finished nicely. But the icing. You must have added too much liquid to it because the mixer sent it flying everywhere. Pink on your cheek, pink on your apron, pink on the floor. A couple of the other contestants were laughing, but that was only because you were taking it in stride, laughing at yourself as you set about making another batch.
“You look like you’re having a hubba bubba nightmare,” Noel Fielding, your favorite member of the cast, said after noticing your troubles. The camera was following him around of course, as he did some funny little bits during the baking tasks so it wouldn’t be so boring to the watchers.
“That’s a great band name,” You chuckled, chucking the bowl into the sink and grabbing another, and then tried to smooth some of your hair back into the band. “Shall we do it, Noel? Make a band together?”
He was just as funny, just as cool off camera as he was on. His personality really was like this all of the time, not just flashing on for the cameras. You found yourself talking to him a lot, getting on really well, great banter. Maybe even a little crush, not that you would admit that to the cameraman.
He flushed a little. You caught it just out of the corner of your eye. He recovered quickly enough, laughing, smile lines crossing his face. “We’ll leave the show and go on tour together,” He laughed. You nodded, agreeing readily enough.
“Sounds like a plan. I might be able to do some bongos.”
“I’m best at a-Capella,” He grinned. It went on a beat too long. There was sounds of a commotion from another contestant and the cameraman instantly rushed towards the scene to where someone realized they used salt instead of sugar in their cake and that it was a nightmare. Noel stayed though. He had a glint in those blue eyes. His hands were clasped behind him, so when he leaned forward, it looked a bit like he was wobbling. A lean - and a little lick of the icing off of your cheek, just as everyone else was distracted. You didn’t lean away. You didn’t push him off despite having every opportunity. He had done so slowly, checking with you for physical permission though. “It’s sweet. Or maybe that’s just the underlying flavor?”
“Oh, go make some salty jokes, you flirt,” You said, struggling hard against smiling and Noel’s very pleasant distraction.

could I request a vince noir x reader of the fountain of youth episode. When vince is the chosen one 👀 nsfw if u want but sexual tension plzzzs
I loved doing this request! I looked forever to find this gif, but I just had to include it lol
Tumblr media
Much to your (and Howard’s) dismay, somehow you’ve ended up on an alien planet as slaves. As soon as the blue aliens had seen the amulet, Vince had been swept away as the Chosen One and you and Howard had been taken and chained up. They’re at least treating you better than Howard, presumably because you’d been smart enough not to say anything rude to them.
When they finally take you to Vince, he gapes at the sight of you for a moment. You squirm under his gaze, your outfit certainly covering more than Howard’s, but still skimpier than you’d prefer. You know more of your blush is on display than you’d like while Vince twirls a feather between his fingers gracefully, eyes roaming your figure. As he rolls the feather across his face, heat swirls in your belly despite your annoyance at him.
You watch as Vince and Howard argue, only breaking in when Howard lunges at him.
“Guys stop!” You grumble, knowing this isn’t going to get you all anywhere.
“Guards,” Vince calls lazily and they’re dragging Howard away. They start to take you too but Vince stops them, telling them to take off your chains before shooing them away. He pats the cushion next to him and you sit down, glaring at him.
“Don’t you think you’re taking this a bit far?” You ask, crossing your arms angrily. His eyes flit down to your now accentuated cleavage and you groan.
“How d’you mean?” Vince hums, trailing the feather along your exposed midriff, making you shiver.
“They’ve taken Howard and I as slaves Vince! Just because they think you’re the “Chosen One”. Are you gonna let them treat us like that?” You shout, trying to get it through his thick skull.
“But I am the Chosen One,” He frowns, still twirling the feather around.
“By chance, you idiot! I had just handed you the amulet when they found us. I could’ve just as easily been the Chosen One, you realize that?” You growl, snatching the feather out of his grasp. You think he might call the guards in again, but he doesn’t. He just stares at you inquisitively, eyes twinkling with mischief.
“But then I wouldn’t have gotten to see you in this cute little number,” he smirks, leaning closer to play with the thin strap of your top.
“No, they would’ve put it on you,” you bite back and climb into his lap, pressing him back into the pillows. You run your hands along his arms, holding his wrists above his head firmly as you lean over him.
“You would’ve been all dressed up for me, at my mercy,” you simper, “I think you’d like that, wouldn’t you?”
He squirms under you, pink flaming his pale cheeks as he tries to come up with a response.
“Obviously you like the idea of it,” you hum, canting your hips against his growing erection. He whimpers, arching up into your touch to try and kiss you. You lower your head, denying him the kiss he wants to nip down his neck instead, scraping your teeth against his collarbones and exposed chest.
“Could take that amulet so easy. Right now I think you’d give me just about anything. You’re gagging for it,” you grin down at his glazed eyes, hips still swiveling.
“But I don’t want the amulet,” you tell him and he looks confused in his lust addled state, “you’re gonna keep it, and you’re gonna get us out of this mess, yeah?”
“Y-yeah, I will, promise,” he agrees blindly.
“First thing in the morning,” you tell him and he nods feverishly before cocking his head when he realizes what you said.
“In the morning?” He looks bewildered.
“Yeah, in the morning. I’ve got plans for you tonight.”

Blood Sugar II
England Lionesses x Teen!Reader
Summary: You go on Bake Off
Tumblr media
"This time, on the Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off, it's Lioness time. Four of the England Lionesses brave the tent in the name of charity to tackle three challenges in the hope of securing, not the Euros trophy, but the star baker apron. This week's celebrities are: Leah Williamson, England captain and defender, Alessia Russo, goal scorer for England, Keira Walsh, England's midfield maestro and y/n l/n, England's youngest star."
You stand in front of your countertop, drumming your fingers against the wood as you look at all of the ingredients in front of you.
"Now, for your signature challenge, Paul and Prue would like you each to make a baker's dozen of sugar cookies," Noel Fielding says and you contemplate slamming your head onto the counter.
You knew agreeing to be on this was a bad idea.
"Each cookie must be hand-shaped," Alison Hammond continues," And made with love. You've got one hour. On your marks."
"Get set."
"Bake!"
"So," Leah says suddenly," Is this a good time to mention I don't know what a baker's dozen is?"
You've never really been a bigger baker. It wasn't really your speciality like a lot of other things like cooking your own meals and doing your own laundry.
There was also the added thing of the fact that no one in your family baked because you couldn't eat it. Well, you could, but it would send your sugar levels through the roof and you hated injecting more insulin than normal because it always stressed you out.
"Less!" You yell out," How much sugar is too much sugar?"
"I'm not helping you!" She yells back and you stick your tongue out at her.
"This is discrimination!" You declare as you start pouring your sugar in, hoping for the best.
The judges leave it ten minutes or so before they start walking around.
They got to Leah first, congratulating her on captaining the team to victory which she graciously waves off before getting way too competitive over a baking show.
Keira is next and it's hard not to be endeared by Keira, clearly the only sane person in the tent.
Alessia ends up accidentally breaking the electric mixer and tries to get everyone to ignore it by throwing a dish towel over it.
Then, it's your turn.
"So, y/n," Paul says," Do you have much experience with baking?"
"No," You reply.
"Did you prepare at all for this?"
"No."
"Do you have much hope you'll win?"
"What I'm hoping for is someone else does extremely badly so I don't come last."
Prue laughs. "Well that's honest of you. So, you have done no preparation at all?"
"I'm planning on just winging it," You admit," I'm diabetic so I don't really eat sugary things so I'm just hoping that they're edible."
"So you're not going to be tasting as you go?"
You eyes go wide. "Am I meant to do that?" You hand goes to cover your mouth. "No, are you joking? Am I meant to be doing that?"
The judges have a little laugh as they back away.
"Wait! Don't go! Am I meant to taste as I go?!"
Even though you don't taste as you go, you don't end up losing the challenge (not with plain tastebuds Leah Williamson in the running) but you don't win either.
Clearly, Keira's just good at everything.
The technical round is a disaster for everyone involved, even Keira and somehow, after burning her first set of fondant fancies, Alessia manages to win.
Leah continues to be the worst, which is what everyone expects so even though you don't taste anything, you're not the worst and, honestly, that's what you're aiming for.
You're here to provide the jokes and not to humiliate yourself on national tv and, you know, also to show that diabetics can bake too - not that you really knew that was a big issue until you signed up for this but apparently it is.
The only one that you actually practiced for was your showstopper.
'Your Biggest Triumph' was the theme and you'd had to practice for this one.
"Leah!" Keira shrieks suddenly and you whip your head around to see Leah with her hand in Keira's bowl of batter.
"I'm sorry Kei," Leah says, sounding not very sorry at all," But you're going to win if I don't sabotage you. I'm sure you understand."
You hold your breath as Keira's eyes dart towards Leah's bowl of unsupervised batter, leaping over the countertop to do the same.
"Wait, Kei! Keira, stop!"
Keira doesn't stop and you notice from the corner of your eyes Alessia moving as well.
You snatch your bowl up before she can grab it, sprinting to the other side of the tent.
Alessia follows you until you're backed up against the fridges.
"Less, Less!" You shriek, voice panicky as Leah and Keira wrestle at Leah's counter," Don't do this! You don't have to do this!"
"I'm sorry." Like Leah, Alessia doesn't sound sorry at all. "But it's for the greater good."
"Greater good! This is pure selfishness!"
"This is baking!"
"This is sabotage. Stay away from my bowl!"
"Come on. Don't make this hard than it needs to be."
An almighty crash sounds as Keira and Leah accidentally knock a mixer off the table and in the confusion, you manage to shove Alessia away to pour your batter into the pan.
The carnage continues throughout the time limit, only dampening when a truce is called so you can all decorate your cakes. Apart from that, it's a free-for-all as you find yourself standing on Leah's countertop, throwing wooden spoons at Keira and Alessia whenever they try to approach the pair of you.
"Alright, y/n," Prue says at the end of the time limit," Tell us about your greatest triumph."
"Okay." You point at the various decorations on your cake. "So this cake is a representation of my Dexcom. I know everyone else is choosing football stuff and all that but when I was six, I started feeling really bad. I couldn't focus and I was sweating and I couldn't really move well and I felt tired. It went on for a few days."
You point at one of the little marshmallow figures you made.
"I was playing in Alessia's garden with her and I threw up everywhere and she insisted on having her parents take me to the hospital. I'd developed DKA and was about an hour or so from going into a coma. The doctors ran tests and stuff and found that my pancreas had shut down. So, my biggest triumph was being diagnosed with diabetes."
You give a little shrug, pointing out the way you'd shaped your cake to look like your Dexcom and how on top you'd decorated it with marshmallow versions of you and Alessia and the doctor that you still went to get check-ups from.
"That's a lovely story, y/n," Paul says," But let's see if the actual cake tastes good. What kind is it?"
"Victoria Sponge because it's my mum's favourite."
Each judge takes a slice and you hold your breath.
Paul holds his hand out to you.
Your eyes go wide. "Are you serious?"
"Shake my hand."
You do that gleefully. Getting a Paul Hollywood handshakes means a lot.
"I mean, there's not much I can say," He says," The sponge is perfect. The filling is perfect. The flavours work well. The story to go with it is fantastic."
"And you never tasted any of it?" Prue asks and you shrug with a grin.
"I'm on a strict diet."
"Well...I mean if football doesn't work it then baking certainly will."
The Star Baker Apron you win at the end hangs up on your wall with your Euro's medal.

kaiser x reader, watching his practice
kaiser knows he’s being watched, he always does, especially when it’s your eyes on him. bm was having one of their open practice sessions today where members of the public could watch the upcoming stars and their raw potential. of course, the training grounds tonight were filled to the brim. you being the amazing partner you are, decided to drop by with some of your friends, all fully enjoying the show being put on.
he feels your eyes on him as he dances across the field almost too easily. each step, each turn, calculated, a display of his sheer talent and confidence. and he knows damn well he looks good doing it.
you sit on the sidelines with your friends, trying to focus on your current debate over the very important topic of who's hotter, chris prince or noel noa, but to no avail you were constantly distracted by his presence. honestly, it’s hard not to watch him, especially when he keeps glancing your way, a smirk tugging at his lips every time he catches your eye.
“show-off,” you mutter under your breath, your friends giggling in response, knowing you damn well love it. i mean, you can’t really deny the flutter in your chest whenever he looks your way.
kaiser, displeased with your reaction, decides to take it up a notch. he calls for the ball, dribbling it effortlessly between his feet before using his kaiser impact to score into the top corner of the net. the crowd is applauding and going wild, but kaiser only has eyes for you, raising an eyebrow as if to say, “did you see that?”
you roll your eyes, but the smile tugging at your lips betrays you.
“come on, kaiser! stop flirting and get back to practice!” one of his teammates calls out, laughter in his voice.
kaiser just shrugs, jogging back to his position, but not before blowing you a sly kiss. you feel your face heat up, quickly burying into the shoulder of your friend to hide your blush.
practice continues, but kaiser’s attention is split between the drills and you. he loves showing off, especially when you’re watching. kaiser wants your entire being to be consumed by him. he wants your eyes on him and him alone. whenever he catches your watching him, a fire is lit up inside of him, making him play even better.
as the session comes to an end, kaiser slowly makes his way over to you and your little group, wiping the sweat off his forehead with his jersey, flashing his abs, doing absolute wonders on you and his audience.
“enjoy the show?” he asks, a teasing lilt to his voice.
you look up, finally facing him with a smirk. “maybe a little. you weren’t too bad out there.”
he laughs, running a hand through his damp hair. “only ‘not too bad’? i’ll have to try harder next time, schatz.”
you shake your head, standing up and stretching. “you’re impossible, you know that?”
he steps closer, his eyes glinting mischievously. “only because you make me want to be.”
before you can respond, he pulls you into a deep kiss, full of desire. it’s enough to leave you breathless, and as he pulls away, you can see the satisfaction in his eyes.
“come on,” he says, grabbing your hand. “let’s get out of here.”
you quickly apologise to your friends as you scurry off. hand in hand, you can’t help but feel a sense of pride when it comes to kaiser. his antics are nothing new, never ceasing to give you a headache, but you can’t help but feel the utmost happiness for him. and god are you proud to be his.
god i hate writing the endings of fics.
anyways "schatz" -> darling (literally translated: treasure)

breaking the internet
Tumblr media
chapter one after Bastard München's third loss, Hiori Yo finds a spark of hope in a warm, unexpected article by a cute keen-eyed journalist blue lock longfic series pairing hiori yo x reader contains slow slow slow burn, post blue lock timeskip, afab!reader angst, fluff, very hiori yo centric piece masterlist
Tumblr media
The locker room was thick with tension, the air heavy with the aftermath of another brutal defeat. Bastard München had just lost to Manshine City — the team considered the weakest in the league this season. It was their third consecutive loss and their unexpected poor performance has become the shock story of the season kickoff. They’d barely left the field but everyone can already hear the criticism in their heads, each biting comment more brutal than the last.
Isagi Yoichi, usually one of the level-headed players during these times of turmoil, lets out a frustrated groan as he tosses his sweat-soaked jersey into his locker.
“Can’t believe we lost again to Reo and Nagi, of all people.” he muttered, his voice laced with irritation.
“God, I wanna wipe that smug look on Chigiri’s pretty face. So annoying.” Even Kunigami himself can’t contain the disappointment he was feeling.
Murmurs of frustration filled the locker room, with each player coming to terms with the loss in their own way. Some stared blankly at the floor, others punched the lockers. But Hiori Yo, the team’s offensive midfielder, sat apart from them quietly in a corner.
His sunken eyes are glued to his tablet, focused on the screen before him. He’s replaying some of the match’s most critical moments, engrossed with dissecting their performance. The heavy feeling of frustration that sat at the bottom of his stomach only made him more fixated in figuring out what they’re doing wrong.
They didn’t play badly per se; they were just simply scattered, struggling to navigate the field without a commanding anchor like Michael Kaiser.
And it’s not like Manshine City outplayed them. They were only able to exploit those gaps between the seams in both Bastard Munchen’s offense and defense, allowing them to snatch their first victory of the season.
He sighs as he watches Nagi Seishirou effortlessly slip past them and score Manshine City’s winning goal just before the buzzer goes off.
The post-match debrief followed quickly. Coach Noel Noa entered the room, trailed closely by the team’s manager. The debrief was short and direct. Nothing that the players don’t know about. At this point, all they can do is let this pass and allow this frustration fuel them to do better and win the next match.
“This loss will sting. And the critics will only make it worse. They’ll amplify everything that went wrong.” Coach Noa’s voice was firm but calm as he warned.
“I’m not going to sugarcoat, it will be brutal. But remember, it’s a long season. Don’t let the noise get to you.”
Later that evening, Hiori returned to his apartment. Instead of diving right into the new Souls game he bought, he threw his duffel bag on his bed before sinking onto his couch. He pulled out his phone, deciding to “ego-surf” a bit.
Usually, he won’t scroll through the comments after a loss, knowing how unforgiving fans can be. And him being one of the more reserved players made him an easy target, with critics often pointing out the lack of “fire” in him compared to his fellow Blue Lock graduates.
But curiosity got the best of him tonight. He scrolled through the headlines, wincing at the relentless criticism pouring in.
“Is Bastard München all bark and no bite without superstar Michael Kaiser?”
“Noel Noa: Greatest striker of all time, wasted on Bastard München’s bench.”
“Blue Lock graduates fail to hold down the fort, leaving Bastard München struggling to fill Kaiser’s shoes.”
Some articles accused the team of riding on Kaiser’s coattails, while others declared that Bastard München had drawn the short stick from the Blue Lock project, forced to settle for “nobodies.”
Before he can continue, his phone vibrates to life with a message notification from his mom. And like clockwork, another message comes in from his dad. Despite being divorced, they’re still scarily in sync. For all the wrong reasons.
Bracing himself for yet another round of thinly-veiled criticism, Hiori opens his father’s message:
“Yo-kun, I saw your game. Hopefully your team can bounce back. You know, if you’d just put in the extra effort and stay focused, you could be the person Bastard München needs. I know you have it in you—just need to take it seriously.”
The words are meant to sound encouraging, but the expectation and judgment beneath them is all too familiar.
Then, another message pings from his mom. This time, there’s no critique or pressure. Instead, she’s sent a link to an article titled “Don’t Count Out Bastard München Yet—The Brains Behind Their Strategy Are Just Coming Into Focus,” along with a simple note:
“Hi Yo-kun, I hope you’ve had dinner. Thought this might make you feel a bit better.”
At least one of them is trying, despite their strained family dynamic.
He re-reads the article title.
"'Brains'? Whaddya mean by that?", he mutters to himself.
Even if Bastard München is known for its calculated approach, there wasn’t much strategy happening on the field lately—or at least not for most players. Curious, Hiori clicks the link and begins to read.
Don’t Count Out Bastard München Yet—The Brains Behind Their Strategy Are Just Coming Into Focus by Y/N L/N With the recent departure of Michael Kaiser, Bastard München’s superstar and core playmaker, the team faces an uphill battle. Kaiser's absence has left a gaping hole in their strategy and a noticeable lack of offensive cohesion. After three consecutive losses, including a shocking defeat against Manshine City—the lowest-ranked team last season—it's evident how much the Bastards are struggling to recalibrate. But while the setbacks are significant, it may be too soon to write off Bastard München entirely. Their performance against Manshine City, despite the loss, showed promise. The team is experimenting with new plays that fit their overall style and individual strengths. To long-time fans, these changes might seem futile, but there’s a method to the madness. For instance, the decision to use Kunigami Rensuke and Yukimiya Kenyu as the main strikers might seem unusual at first. In hindsight, it allows Alexis Ness and Isagi Yoichi to create more scoring options while still playing to each player's strengths. This strategy leverages Isagi and Ness’ unpredictability, while maximizing the straightforward power of Kunigami and Yukimiya.  Additionally, their midfield defense and offense remain strong, with Benedict Grim and Hiori Yo commanding the center. They provide support and drive plays, utilizing players like Kiyora Jin, and Raichi Jingo to full effect. This demonstrates the potential of the new Bastard München. Even without Kaiser, the team has the makings of a powerhouse. And this isn’t the first time the team has faced adversity, nor will it be the last. Last season, despite a critical injury to the Magician, Alexis Ness, they fought their way to the semifinals, proving that resilience is embedded in the team’s DNA. Coach Noel Noa, a world-class striker turned coach, has also acknowledged the challenges ahead. His expertise remains a pillar for the team, alongside long standing veterans like Mensah and Erik Geisner, who provide stability. However, the real responsibility for filling the void left by Kaiser’s raw power and impact now falls on the team’s ‘brains’—Coach Noa, Ness, and perhaps most intriguingly, midfielder Hiori Yo. Hiori Yo may not be the most flashy player on the roster, but his subtle playmaking has become an essential part of Bastard München's strategy. Both Kaiser and Noa have recognized Hiori’s value, crediting him numerous times during key victories. “His role as midfielder may not grab headlines, but his precision, strategic thinking and game sense provide the grounding force the team needs” Coach Noel Noa mentions before during an interview mid season last year, after winning a do-or die match against Ubers. Thus, this could be a transformative season for Bastard München.  For those quick to count them out, this season might just reveal a new side of Bastard München. The team’s resilience, adaptability, and strategic evolution could turn the tide, especially with emerging playmakers laying a strong foundation. As they face the challenges ahead, fans may witness a more mature, tactically sophisticated version of the Bastards that proves they’re far from finished.
The journalist (Y/N) didn’t hold back, addressing Bastard München’s weaknesses head-on. Furthermore, you highlighted how the team could lean into a more dynamic strategy, blending the flashy, ego-driven style that fans loved with a more calculated approach—a style that Hiori himself had been quietly cultivating.
For the first time, it felt like someone truly saw his potential, his value beyond just raw skill or charisma. You acknowledged him as a player who might not command the spotlight but who laid the groundwork, providing the strategic foundation the team needed.
As he reached the article’s end, Hiori felt a strange warmth settle over him. It wasn’t praise, exactly, but it was understanding or validation, something he rarely received. On a whim, he looks you up on Winstagram, curious about the person behind the words.
Your profile was as intriguing as your article. Your feed was a hodgepodge of your life. There are photos from tournaments, interviews with other athletes, and even a few posts about your favorite manga series. You're all over the place and rough around the edges but seemed very passionate by the way you wrote about the things in your life.
A photo of you with a 2B cosplayer catches his eye. You're shyly forming a heart with the cosplayer’s hand, your face flushed as you tries to smile.
“Huh, well aint’cha cute.” he says out loud, before bookmarking your profile. For the first time in weeks, Hiori found himself smiling, feeling an unexpected spark of optimism.
He shares your article to the Bastard München group chat with a simple comment: “At least one person ain't giving up on us.” As the chat notifications pinged with his teammates’ responses, Hiori leaned back, allowing himself to savor this small moment of encouragement.
 For now, it was enough.
Tumblr media
author's notes: phew! so how was it? i know it's bit long but i want to bring out hiori's charm, focusing on his character and growth, while showing the effect of reader journalist's role in his life, both as professionals and as love interests. it's a bit on the serious side of things (with tooth rotting romance still), it might not be everyone's cup of tea but hopefully this grows onto you. if you have any questions or requests, feel free to send me an ask! i'm planning on writing drabbles and light hearted fics for other bllk characters including hiori ofc some time this month!

kaiser x reader, how they meet. a lil excerpt of a fic i’m working on
Being in a relationship, falling in love… For Kaiser, those seem like impossible features of life for him. He could still remember stealing just to eat, bruises over his body and an empty heart. Even now, with his and Isagi’s tamed dynamic duo becoming Bastard München’s pride, with Noel Noa’s recent retirement announcement, a relationship feels akin to the idea of a second moon orbiting around earth.
So to hear your voice like a windchime at this event…
“Thanks so much for participating! Having Bastard München be part of this outreach program has been a dream, especially for the children.”
It almost makes him want to break something.
“You think you’re helping them?” He snaps from over the table. He doesn’t mean to, but it comes out like a spit, something ugly that’s been coiled up in his throat. Even stone-faced Noa looks shocked.
“This isn’t the field, Kaiser.” He comments, like an attempt at doing so offhandedly, except nothing Noa does is ever casual.
You meet Kaiser’s eyes and to his surprise, there’s no challenge there. He sees clear eyes and genuine intrigue. The consideration feels like ants crawling up his skin.
“It’s the first time we’re doing this, so to be honest, I’m not sure. But I think it’s a start. If there’s anything better that we can do, please let me know, and I’ll incorporate it.”
It’s a damn rehearsed message, makes him scoff in your direction. It’s only the genuine nature of your smile that keeps him from voicing his distaste. And yet, the moment you finish your conversation with Noa, you come to sit next to him.
You place the schedule, neatly clapped onto a clipboard, right in front of him. He quirks an eyebrow at you.
“You’re under no pressure to sign up.”
“Which is why I haven’t.”
You laugh. Laugh, like he’s charmed you with a joke.
“There’s an outreach program in your hometown, if you’re interested.”
“You think I wanna go back there?”
You hum. “I don’t know. But I do know they practically revere you there, and that they’d appreciate your presence. You don’t have to see anyone you don’t want to. You can show up for 5 minutes out of the allotted time. You can show up to one across the world instead. You can sign up and then cancel last minute. But if you’d consider it for even a moment, I’d love to have you.”
He looks at you, direct and cutting, and you greet him so openly that his stare gets harsher, and then he immediately pulls his eyes away.
He’s been crude to you today, hasn’t he? It’s his due, then, to pay his penance.
He sighs, flipping through the pages with one hand until he finds the page with his hometown, then scribbles his name down hard enough to leave an indent on the next couple pages.
“Thank you, Kaiser,” the way you say it is so soft it feels intimate, like a lover’s breath against his ear. He would’ve had less of a reaction if you had put your hand on his thigh, but there’s no touch, nothing that solidifies you to him or this moment when he replays it later in his head. “I really do look forward to seeing you there.”

Futile Devices | Part 2
Pairing: Noel Gallagher x childhood-best friend!reader
Plot: There's nothing quite like realizing your feelings once it's too late. But what would life be without a speck of hope?
Previous part
Tumblr media
(1990)
You always loathed clubbing. There was just something about the combination of a crowded space with loud music and the heinous smell of alcohol mixed with puke that sickened you to the bone. And you didn’t understand why it didn’t disgust most people. Your best friend Noel, happened to be one of those.
“Well, you do like going to concerts.”, he argued, observing your every move while getting dressed. You had no idea when this ritual of getting ready together started, but you didn’t really mind it. A soft sigh left your lips:” That’s just different. I go to concerts where I enjoy the music. I get what I paid for.” He only nodded.
You swallow (more than) thickly, while you make your way through the crowd towards the club toilet. The impulse to vomit just got too much. Not because you’re intoxicated, but because someone who stood very close to you puked right in front of your feet. The light at the end of the tunnel (which in this case happened to be pink and purple) came into sight and you let out a relieved sigh. However when someone grasps you by your upper arm you almost fall to your knees.
You instantly turn your head after managing to stabilize yourself and make eye contact with a very, very drunk man. Fear builds itself up in your stomach while you realize that his head is coming closer. You desperately want to take a step back, however, when your bare back comes into contact with the stony wall your eyes widen. You’re trapped, while his fingers dig themselves into the flesh of your arm.
“Oi. Sweetheart.”
For a second you consider vomiting into his face, however, before you can do anything there’s a fist colliding with his cheekbone. A small shriek escapes your lips while Noel steps into view. “You twat!”, he shouts over the unbelievably loud music:” I am going to kill you.” There’s something in his eyes that implies, that he might actually do it, considering the smell of alcohol that envelops him like an aura field.
„Noel!“, you say, clearly your throat before repeating it louder. He stares down at the man, who is sitting on the floor holding a tooth in between his fingers:“ If you touch her again, I swear to God I will kill ya.“ Whenever he got angry, his accent came out. And right now his accent has never been denser. „Let’s leave, Noel.“, your hand moves up to softly shake his shoulder and it’s only when you two finally make eye contact that his gaze softens. He nods. You quickly take his hand before guiding him through the mass towards the exit.
As soon as the big metal door falls shut behind you, you can hear his soft and husky voice:” Are you okay?” His hand is still in yours, holding on to it tightly, while his gaze roams your features - revealing nothing but genuine concern layered with something more. You can only nod before you let go of him to take your pack of cigarettes out of your purse. Out of the corner of your eye, you can catch a glimpse of how he looks down at his now empty hand.
With slightly shaky hands you place one cigarette in between your lips. “Y/N.”, he suddenly lets out:” I’m sorry. I should’ve been there to protect you.”
“But you did.” “Not quick enough.”
A sigh leaves your lips. “You know, I am always-.”, he stops talking and his eyes anxiously roam the street, it’s almost as if he’s attempting to figure out what he wants to say:” I’m always looking out for you, I just want you to know that.”
You nod and he mirrors it. “Thank you.”
“Of course. Want to go home?”
“Yes, please.”

Sunsets and footballers (Part 36)
Lucy Bronze x Reader (34)
Masterlist (other parts here)
YFN enjoyed her morning and flight back, still trying to comprehend what was happening. She’d wished she had time to go through Edinburgh itself but had been swamped all morning with emails relating to the expansion of staff. Lumos management were also a lot more vocal with her now that they’d all met and decided she should be directly involved with their meetings and decisions.
Once she’d landed, she’d Ubered to her and Jordan’s house to pick up Miles and give Blu a pat before she drove to the conference room in town. She’d arrived just after midday and was delightfully pleased to see the entire team was already there with canapes just working and bantering away. She greeted them all as she entered and as she walked to her seat, she realised there were a large bunch of flowers sitting in her space. She was a little confused. Was this from Catherine? From the team for the first round? From the hotel the conference room was in? She looked around for an explanation and only received a few grins in response. She gently touched one of her flowers and leant in to smell them before taking the card out of the top.
Hi little one,
Well done on your first round of women’s football!
I’m so proud of you, always, in everything that you do.
I can’t wait to see you soon in Spain.
I love you.
Lucy x
She blushed as her heart fluttered, again finding a few of those grins, yet now they were teasing. She didn’t mind being teased for it. She was proud of her relationship with Lucy. She moved the flowers more central in the table and took her seat, setting up her laptop and notes before sending a quick photo and text to Lucy.
She knew they had a lot to cover and made sure to text Jordan, asking for a heads up when she was headed home. She wanted to be there for her. She put her phone on the table and they began. They spoke about the first round, each team member talking about their experiences and ideas. They spoke about the interviews, the posts, the equipment, all of it. When they were done, YFN made sure they were all comfortable and confident with their roles and then dropped the bombshell. They were expanding. Already. She told them how happy and ambitious management were. They’d expanded from ten including YFN to fifty. This was a shock to everyone of course, however YFN managed to ease them.
“Fifty?!” Ruby almost yelled. “How much money does this company have?!”
“The company has a lot of faith in us…and they were very impressed with the first round.”
“But that’s mainly because your interviews were amazing…” Ethan countered.
“No, we all did amazing work.” Bridget disagreed.
“Fifty sounds like a lot, but it really isn’t,” she assured. “We have six games a week. Fifty is our new number so that we can have three videographers, three photographers, one editor and one interviewer per game. That’s forty-eight people. The extras will be Noel for IT as our posting and editing becomes even more sizeable, and myself.”
They thought this was definitely a lot more reasonable when it was put like that.
“Management are throwing money into us to not only expedite the process of growth, but to make sure we’re training and preparing for the international fixtures as well,” she explained. “We won’t just be doing WSL the entire time. Plus, there are the other leagues in Europe, and the other minor leagues in the UK.”
“But the training…” Emily almost whispered.
YFN nodded, running a hand through her hair a little stressed. “Oh, trust me, I know. We need to be fully prepped and confident for our games so we make the mistakes in practise rather than onsite.”
“Prior planning prevents piss poor performance.” Sam quoted.
“Exactly and I have a plan for that. Now we’re all new here but we’ve all been in the field, we’ve researched and prepped and decided on how to best create a product that suits our brand image. It’s because of this that my plan is to have you all in supervisory roles for the new team coming in. The new hires will arrive next Tuesday which gives us time to prep with them prior to our third round. I’ll put you into game groups and you can work together to prep during the week, with this group supervising each game group and taking a bit more responsibility. Teach them what you’ve learnt. Next week is going to be a long week, but we can do it. I’ll expect progress reports also as I can’t monitor fifty people. If someone is excelling, or not quite up to scratch, I expect to be told so we can sort it out prior to our game. Also…” she looked around the conference room. “…we’ve just acquired an office space in London. I understand that not everyone will live there, and I just want to state that when we’re up and running more comfortably, the people who live further away will be able to zoom our meetings instead if they choose. In the meantime, we’ll continue with our face to face meetings, though don’t neglect yourselves. If it becomes too hard to travel; let me know. We’re going to have enough people to cover each other, it’s okay.”
The rest of the meeting was fairly better as YFN had decided they would only start to worry about the new hires later on. Right now, it was about prepping for the next games.
Their schedule set out for the upcoming week was as such:
Man United vs West Ham (Leigh Sports Village, Manchester): 12th Nov 1200 – YFN and Ruby.
Spurs vs Liverpool (Brisbane Road, London): 12th Nov 1230 – Sam and Olivia.
Everton vs Chelsea (Walton Hall Park, Liverpool): 12th Nov 1300 – Ethan and Daniel.
Man City vs Brighton (Joie Stadium, Manchester): 12th Nov 1300 – Bridget and Emily.
Bristol vs Aston Villa (Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol): 12th Nov 1400 – Matt and Noel.
Leicester vs Arsenal (King Power Stadium, Leicester): 12th Nov 1845 – YFN and Ruby (relocate from United vs West Ham); Matt (relocate from Bristol vs Aston Villa in Bristol est arrival: 1900).
The scheduling was tight because all of the games were on the same day, and she needed to be carefully logistically to make sure she didn’t have people driving out of their way unnecessarily. Luckily, Matt lived in Birmingham and would be able to get to the Leicester vs Arsenal game for YFN to get some good interviews of the players, one she was hoping would be Kyra and Courtney.
Before she knew it, the clock had ticked over to 5pm and Jordan had messaged.
Dory: Training just finished. I’ll be home in 20.
YFN: I’m coming. I’ll get take-away for us. What would you like, Dory?
Dory: Anything I’m not supposed to eat.
YFN: You’re amazing. See you at home soon, roomie x
YFN walked through the front door, pizza in one hand and flowers tucked under the other arm, her work bag slung over her shoulder. Regardless of this, Jordan was on her from the moment she opened the door, wrapping arms around YFN’s waist. After a cute little hug, YFN spoke when she felt Jordan getting emotional.
“Okay, firstly, I love you. Secondly, we’re eating before we talk. We need to get this comfort food into you before it goes cold.”
They settled onto the couch and devoured the pizza quickly, having to snatch it away from Blu at times. Then, Jordan spoke.
“I’m so embarrassed.”
“Why? For having sex with someone you love? Someone who knows you and loves you too?”
“I guess it does sound better when you say it like that…”
“What happened? Tell me everything.”
Jordan sighed. “We dropped you off and came back home. We didn’t speak much in the car. She put her hand on my thigh, but I think it was more of a reassurance thing than a sexual thing. Then we spoke when we got home. I did exactly what you said, I sat far away so I wouldn’t be tempted by anything. She said the nicest things, YFN.” Jordan began to cry. “How much she loved me and missed me and how badly she’d screwed up. I couldn’t help myself, I cried and I couldn’t stop. I tried to hold it together. She comforted me and…” She put her hand on the back of the couch, presumably where they’d been sitting.
“Did you have sex right here?”
Jordan’s tears paused as she gave a cheeky, embarrassed smile.
“Ooookay I’m going to pretend I didnt ask.” She reached out and brushed some of Jordan’s tears away. “Was it…bad?”
“No,” she admitted. “No, it was incredible. Probably the best sex I’ve had in my life. It was so desperate and passionate. I don’t know what happened, I missed her touch, I just melted.”
“Ah…and you cried after it?”
“No, I cried during it. It felt so good and to have her back so close to me. I missed her so much, YFN. I think after we’d been…doing it a while…the lust faded a little, and I just got scared. Scared that she made me feel so happy, made me feel so loved and then I got scared she’d leave again. I panicked and cried. She didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what to do. I told her to go.”
“She tried to stay?”
“Yeah of course but I was just a mess, I needed to be alone.”
YFN hesitated. “You pushed her away before she could leave you…”
“Is that what I did?” She whispered.
“Oh Dory, come here.” YFN pulled Jordan into her lap and wrapped her arms around her, stroking her supportively. YFN and Jordan were both very, very affectionate people, especially physically.
“I don’t know if I can trust her again. I th…thought I c…could.” Her crying increased and she clung to the front of YFN’s shirt.
“Did you tell her why you wanted her to go?”
“That’s the worst part…she begged me to stay. She was on her knees at one point. On her ACL torn knee…but I couldn’t look at her. I wanted her to go. I knew she had a long drive back to London. I knew it was late. I still kicked her out.” She shook her head. “She begged me all the way out of the door to explain what was happening. I just remember telling her, “I can’t handle you leaving me again.””
YFN’s stomach dropped for Leah. She finally got close to Jordan again. Close enough for sex. For intimacy. She must have been so happy…and in a split second it was all taken away from her because of that insecurity she’d planted in Jordan with her previous mistake.
“It’s okay…it’s okay. Leah will understand, trust me. Has she messaged you?”
Jordan nodded into her. “She’s sent me multiple messages since.”
“And have your feelings changed?”
“That fear of her leaving? It’s not going away anytime soon.”
“I think she needs to win your trust back. You two made a mistake by diving into sex.”
“I know,” she whispered quietly. “I couldn’t help myself.”
“You need to let her know that if she wants you, she needs to build that trust back. She needs to know that it may take a long time but it’ll be worth it because she’ll get to have you back.”
Jordan nodded. “You’re right…”
“If I’ve learnt anything over the past few days it’s that communication is key…”
“I just need a little space.”
“Okay…look, I’ll be at the Arsenal game on Sunday in Leicester. I’ll talk to her if you want? Explain a little…”
“I think that’s for the best.”
“Okay, I think you should message her asking for your space for the moment.”
“Can you do it?”
“I think this one is best coming from you, Jords.”
She sighed but took her phone out and texted Leah without reading the messages the other woman had sent her.
“You won’t be at the Aston Villa game this week?”
YFN shook her head. “No, I’ll be covering Untied vs West Ham and then Leicester vs Arsenal.”
“But aren’t you going to Spain?”
She ran a hand through her hair. “Yeah…I was planning on going Friday. Lucy has a game Saturday and then I’d fly back for the Sunday games.”
“You’re not staying for long, then? Lucy’s going to be upset.”
“I know,” she sighed. “I know, I planned on doing zoom for my meetings next week, but we’ve just expanded our employees by five hundred percent.”
“What the-”
“Oh, please don’t ask anything. I’m stressed and besides, tonight is all you, Jords. I think a phone call with Lucy and then with Katie and Caitlin may be just what you need, hm?”
Jordan agreed. “Yes, please! I’ll get rid of this rubbish and get us drinks while you message them.”
YFN opened her phone, hovering her finger above Lucy’s message before she remembered their phone call from last night. She bit her lip as she opened Instagram. Sure enough, the first posts were of Lucy boxing and YFN could feel her skin getting hot, and she squirmed as she also felt herself getting wet for her. God damn. Lucy. Those biceps. Lucy. That determined look. Lucy. She groaned.
“You okay?” Jordan asked from the kitchen.
“Yeah!” She called back and liked the post. She considered commenting and decided against that. She was worried how forward she would be in front of Lucy’s 750k followers.
YFN: Hey Luce, are you free for a call with Dory?
Lucy: Hi, little one. I’ve been waiting for your text. I smile when your name pops up on my phone. Yes, I’m free whenever you want me.
YFN: I always want you. And you’re always busy.
Lucy: Lies.
Jordan passed her a drink over the couch and she took a sip.
Lucy: Come to Spain and fuck the busy out of me.
She choked on her drink. Jordan gave her a look before she rolled her eyes as she made her own drink.
YFN: Behave. I’m barely hanging on with your Instagram posts.
Lucy: I hoped you’d like them…can we have a late-night call tonight when you’re free?
YFN: Yes, please.
It’s crazy how naturally they fell into teasing each other. She sent another message to the messenger with Katie, Caitlin and Jordan.
YFN: Hi! Are you all free for a group call with Dory and I in the next hour or so?
Caitlin: KEEN.
Katie: Only if we see your faces.
YFN: Done. I’ll message you soon!
Jordan joined her on the couch then and she called Lucy, giving Jordan the phone. Obviously, Jordan had Lucy’s number, but this was more convenient. She watched as the two old friends spoke, Lucy not failing to make Jordan grin and laugh. Of course she could. At one point they were even speaking about her, and YFN rolled her eyes, working a little on her laptop while they had their talk.
Their talk ended after about forty minutes, Jordan hanging up before YFN could talk to Lucy. She frowned. Lucy immediately texted.
Lucy: Call me in bed?
YFN: Okay, I’ll be about an hour, love. Thank you for that, she really needed it. You managed to cheer her up a lot.
Lucy: I know her too well. You’re welcome, though. Talk soon. x
YFN messaged the girls back then telling them to call whenever they were free. Apparently, that was immediately. Jordan and YFN on one end, Katie and Caitlin on the other. It was a hilarious conversation after Jordan had been honest about what happened with Leah to them. They’d given her support and told her to take her time which reassured her a little bit more. Katie had changed the mood of the conversation after that by introducing Coopurr by holding the cat up to the camera. Jordan responded in kind with Blu, of course. Then Caitlin surprised her fellow Australian with a question.
“Hey chicken, do you know what’s happening with Kyra? She’s been a bit off and we figured you might know…”
YFN hesitated. She didn’t want to keep anything from them, but knew it wasn’t her place. “Uh…yeah…it’s not really my place to say though…”
Katie turned to Caitlin. “I told you.”
“You were right,” Caitlin rasped. “It’s about Courtney then.”
They watched as YFN practically glued her mouth shut. Of course they knew. Courtney was a Matilda. Caitlin was a Matilda.
“Is that why you’re coming to our game now?”
“Oh, that's right! You two were so obvious when Kyra asked what game you were going to.”
“Mmnhmn. Yeah, look, all I can say is that I plan on interviewing them together. We’re going to start interviewing players in groups more, and also interviewing opposition together. So this weekend I’ll do a young interview with those two if I can catch Courtney, and then I’ll do an-”
“An old person interview? Rude.” Caitlin laughed.
YFN rolled her eyes. “You know what I mean.”
“Yeah, we’re happy to do an interview with you, but I assume you want someone you haven’t talked to yet?”
“Yeah, you know, I was thinking Kim or…” She stopped herself as she looked at Jordan.
Jordan frowned. Leah. There was a moment of silence.
“That’s okay, you know.” Jordan reassured. YFN gave a grateful smile.
“…or Jen Beattie?”
“Are you in those little sleeping shorts of yours?” Lucy asked.
“Yes,” she almost whispered.
Lucy hummed. “Good. Take them off.”
YFN did as she was told, wriggling them off and turning back to her phone propped up against Lucy’s pillow.
“Shirt too.”
She pulled her shirt off, now fully bare beneath the sheets besides her socks. Lucy knew she loved her socks, though.
“I wish you could understand how much I want you right now.” She said a little exasperated.
“Tell me…” She whispered, looking at Lucy through the camera. She allowed herself to begin playing with one of her nipples and Lucy noticed, groaning.
“If you could feel between my thighs, you’d know just how much I miss you.”
“I can’t stop thinking about you…I can’t seem to get you out of my mind.”
“Good.” She said almost harshly. “That’s where I belong. Inside your mind. Inside you. Now I need you to touch yourself. I need your hands to do what I wish mine were right now.”
“Guide me where you want me, Luce.”
“Put your free hand around your throat. Good girl. Squeeze a little. Argh…yes. You like that, hm? Two days and that’ll be my hand.”
“God I need you, Luce.”
“I have no idea how I didn’t fuck you silly the other night.”
“Because you love me,” she whispered, her hand moving down over her body and under the sheets. She knew Lucy would enjoy that visual.
“Did I tell you to do that?”
YFN paused. “No…”
“Hm.”
“Can I…?” She trailed off as she saw Lucy’s darkened eyes through the screen.
“Use your words, love.”
“Can I touch myself?”
“Yes, but don’t go inside. Not yet.”
She felt through the wetness of her body, not realising just how ready she was. She was tempted to slip a finger in, but Lucy told her she couldn’t just yet, and so she didn’t. Her fingers found her little bundle of nerves and began to play.
“That’s my girl,” Lucy groaned. “T…that’s my girl. Feel that.”
Lucy stuttering a little was proof to her that she was also touching herself. Her eyes rolled back at the thought and her body was twitching and getting tingly at the stimulation of her clit. They worked themselves up like that for a while, both moaning and shakily breathing. Hearing Lucy losing control was one of her favourite things. She just wished she were right there, rather than across a phone.
“Luce, c…can I go inside?”
“Tell me who you belong to.”
She bit her lip and her back arched at the question, her fingers speeding up. She whimpered. “You, Luce. I belong to you.”
“Yes, you do. Don’t you ever fucking forget that. Two fingers inside, now.”
YFN eagerly thrust two fingers inside herself, her body jerking and her legs automatically widening.
“I want to hear you.”
YFN released one of her nipples to drag the phone down and place it on her left thigh. She could hear Lucy groaning from the other end. She threw the sheet off so she could hear her better.
“God, you have no idea what you do to me,” she repeated. “I’m so lucky to have you.”
“I’m yours, Luce. And I…I’m the l…lucky one.” She had no idea how she managed to get the sentence out. She was so wound up, her body arched into her hand, hips automatically thrusting against her fingers.
“I want you to come like this, fucking yourself. Don't move the phone, I want to hear it.”
YFN did as she was told, and sped up her assault, her body becoming a shaky, uncontrolled mess. It didn’t take long for her to get right to that edge, and she could hear Lucy getting closer. Lucy wasn’t very vocal, that was something they were still working on, however her moaning and panting betrayed her. She was close. She just needed to be tipped over the edge. So YFN gave her that.
“Arghh…Luce…Lucy…can I come?”
She knew asking permission would be Lucy’s last straw.
“Y…yes,” she gasped. “Come.”
YFN sped up her efforts once more as her body unfolded and that electric shock of ecstasy shocked her body into a tense spasm. She heard Lucy whimpering on the other end of the phone and that just made it last longer.
She let herself come down and reached for a tissue near the bed to wipe herself clean. She took the phone and put it back up near her face as she rolled to the side and looked at her girlfriend. Lucy pushed the glasses up her nose, giving a satiated grin. She couldn’t help but return her own.
“This is becoming a regular thing for us.” YFN said.
“I need this just to be able to think during the day about something other than fucking you.”
“Ah, but I thought you liked thinking about me.”
Lucy laughed incredulously. “Yes, but I also have a profession I should be thinking about. Mapi managed to kick a ball into me today while I was zoned out thinking about how good you look under me.”
The visual was hilarious. “You’re insatiable.”
“It’s never been a problem until you. I feel like I’m losing a battle of urges.”
“Keep talking, please, you’re making me feel very loved right now.”
Lucy laughed and YFN continued. “But if it’s any consolation, I also can’t stop thinking about you. The one time I managed to not, was when I was walking into my meeting but then I saw your flowers…”
Lucy grinned. “You liked them? I thought it’d be romantic.”
“Oh, it was. And just so you know, your surprise will be there tomorrow also.”
Lucy’s eyes widened with excitement. “You sent me something?!”
“Last night. I just wanted you to know that I sent it BEFORE I received your flowers.”
“Who’s the romantic one, now?”
“You, always you. I may be a romantic, but I’ll never have anything on you, Luce.”

Come with me pt. 1
Roadie Noel Gallagher x fem!reader
Summary: in which, Noel fimds a new passion besides music.
Warnings: none, fluff
Wordcount: 1.2k
Masterlist
Tumblr media
A number of lights separate the audience from whoever is on stage. A magnetic field surrounded them that raised awareness, whatever they do, they’ll do it there. In the spotlight and surrounded by people. Nothing will ever happen in the quietness of loneliness, not when enough people knew you to talk about you constantly.
“You’ve really dragged me here for this?” Y/n asked her friend, Mary, both sat at the bar of the little club they were in, lazily watching the band standing on stage, barely holding on to their minds.
“Oh, come on.” Mary urged her, knocking their elbows together. “You’ve been so moody all week, relax a bit. Once you start listening they’re actually good.”
And that’s what she did. Listening and nodding her head to the beat, because after all, once you start listening you start understanding. Lazy lyrics turned into words with meaning and chords that followed one another became one. A melody became a song and part of an album at last.
“They’re not too bad,” she concluded at last, when they ended their set and said a proper goodbye, before disappearing back stage again. The room wished them farewell with applauses and settled down once they were gone fully, making space for a new band.
“Good to hear, because you’re coming backstage with me.” The girl already pulled her by her wrist towards the entrance until Y/n stopped walking, looking at her with wide eyes at the new information.
“What?”
They were supposed to come here, listen to them play and go back home. Nothing more. Though that seemed to change throughout the night.
“I’ve met the guitarist yesterday, and you know how things go when I meet a musician…” she trailed off at the end of her sentence, looking at the girl with innocent eyes.
Rolling her eyes, Y/n replied, “You’re unbelievably easy to get.”
Making the other girl squeal in excitement and drag her down a hallway and into a backstage area. Inside, the air was filled with smoke, cigarettes and beer cans were cluttered everywhere around the small space. A sofa was put against one of the walls, most of the band sitting on it and soon enough Mary sat on the edge of it, flirting with who Y/n remembered to be playing the guitar earlier on stage.
Looking around the room, there wasn’t a lot of space left. The floor was dirty and leaning against one of the walls seemed too awkward to do in a place like this. Not with all eyes being able to focus on one in a matter of seconds.
Continuing looking around the room, she caught sight of a figure sitting on the other side of it, another small sofa sitting in a quieter corner. The person on it scribbling furiously into a notebook without looking up once. His fingers tapping against the edge of the papers every once in a while, like he was trying to remember the rhythm of his words.
When his movements stilled for a moment, Y/n decided to walk over to him, sitting down on the other end and letting her gaze stray over to the page until they focused on his face, which was now staring back at her. His eyes widen in shock at the sudden presence beside him.
“Hey,” she said, smiling awkwardly when he didn’t say anything in return at first.
Shaking his head as if he needed to collect new words from having all the others written down already, before he replied with a simple, “Hey.”
“Are you part of the band?” She asked, not remembering him from on stage but she didn’t even look at them as clearly to recognize every single one of the guys.
“Uh, not really, no. I’m just their Roadie, you know. Stringing guitars and all that,” he replied, his fingers still tapping against the paper.
“That’s cool,” she said. “Am I disturbing you or something?”
“What? No, sorry. I was just writing something, it’s not that important.” Holding up his notebook in reference before closing it completely and putting it aside. Focusing on her. “Why are you here?”
“My friend dragged me to the gig and well, she didn’t exactly tell me that she was more interested in the guitarist than the music itself. And now, I’m here.”
“Must be shit, but the band’s good at least,” he said, leaning back and relaxing more.
“They’re alright,” she answered, making his eyebrows raise in surprise. “There are better bands though.”
“Alright? Darling, they’re proper amazing. Honestly, one of the greatest Bands out there at the moment,” he argued, looking at her like she was growing a second head.
“Wouldn’t exactly call them one of the greatest, but there are definitely worse ones,” she tried to conclude with him, though when he shook his head at her in disbelief she knew, that if she wanted to keep the conversation alive, she needed to change the subject at hand. “So, is that all you wanna do? Just tour with Bands and care for their equipment and organize stuff for them.”
“Not exactly, no. Music has always been a passion of mine, though I doubt it will get any further than this. I don’t exactly have the voice of a Rock star,” he shrugged like it was nothing. Like dreams were nothing but a part of something unbelievable.
“But you can write, right?” She nodded towards the book in his lap. “Just get someone who can sing and you’ll be a step nearer to standing on the big stage you’re dreaming of.”
“All the great voices are already off somewhere with some other band. Signed and all that shit.”
“I wouldn’t be too sure about that. Most often, the most talented are hiding in the shadows till the last second. You just have to shine a light on them and they’ll surprise you,” she said, looking down at the notebook again. “What have you written?”
“Nothing,” he quickly answered.
“A song?” She asked once more, making his face heat up. “Can you play it to me?”
“It’s nothing really, I just have a verse and chorus as well as some loose lyrics for anything else.”
“Please.”
Flicking the book open once more, he picked up the guitar that laid on the floor next to him and started plugging. Creating a soft melody, to which he started humming until words melted into the rhythm and made it a whole.
“It’s not really anything,” he tried playing it down once he finished playing what he had as of now. His eyes avoiding her gaze and staring at the words rather than her face.
“You have a beautiful voice, remember that,” she said, leaning in and giving him a kiss on the cheek. Softly chuckling as his head turned towards her after she loosened her lips from his skin and laid her head down on his shoulder. “I mean it.”
“Thank you,” he said, starting to strum his guitar once more. “What’s your name?”
“Y/n. What’s yours?”
“Noel,” he answered, slightly blushing.
“Well, Noel,” the name rolling from her tongue so easily. “You will be big one day, trust me. I feel it. Now play me another song, please.”
Listening to his every word, she couldn’t help but feel her eyes flutter close and her breath steadying until she was softly breathing against his collarbone, sound asleep and looking comfortable by his side.
It felt right having her so close to him, Noel noticed as he looked down at the girl by his side with the soft smile still decorating her pink lips. He wished to stay in this moment forever, by her side.

━ 𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬!
— pairing; chigiri hyoma x reader
— summary; in which kaiser is annoying, you’re jealous, and noel noa notices. set in the blue lock manager au.
— notes; please donate to my kofi if you like my content and wish to support me. reblogs are appreciated !!
Tumblr media
❋ “Yoichi, is that red-head an old friend?” Thanks to Ego’s ministrations (and the recently increased budget after the U-20 match), the state-of-the-art monitors and high-tech speakers allows you a high-definition view of Kaiser’s face, and his ensuing conversation with Isagi.
❋ Well, it’s not just you. Right now, the whole of Blue Lock ─ not to mention the entire world ─ can hear Kaiser and the smugness to his voice.
❋ It would appear that even the sound of Kaiser’s voice is enough to set Isagi off, because he looks dangerously close to seizing a football and braining Kaiser with it. And wouldn’t that be a sight to see, two world-class footballers (from the same team, no less!) duking it out on the field like two squabbling children.
❋ You have to give Kaiser credit where it’s due, for ignoring Isagi’s annoyed glower in favour of continuing to talk as though nothing’s wrong. “He’s good. Fast, strong . . . And above all, beautiful.” Kaiser blatantly checks out Chigiri’s retreating figure with a toss of his head and smiles in a way that sets your teeth on edge. And it’s completely irrational, but a sick sense of jealousy pierces you then. “He’s a gem you’ll want to crush.”
❋ You can see Chigiri’s face upon the monitors, too. His thin jersey only serves to accentuate his slender frame and the lean length of his muscles. He’s too far away to hear Kaiser’s comments, and a small smile still tugs at the corners of his lips.
❋ You growl. You actually growl like a damn dog.
❋ (You aren’t sure if it’s in response to the sudden jealousy blooming in your chest like a poisonous flower, or if it’s because you don’t like how Kaiser talks about Chigiri, like he’s an object or a possession to toy with. But hey. That’s a problem for your future self to deal with.)
❋ Next to you, Igarashi squeaks, his face paling to the colour of chalk. Very wisely, he inches away from your scowl and your angry fingers digging into the clipboard.
❋ “Ah.” Noel Noa says, far too knowingly for your liking. He nods at you, unruffled. “Michael has that effect on people.”
❋ And of course he would notice the way your gaze lingers a tad too longingly on Chigiri. “Though I suspect your frustration is a result of other causes as well.”
❋ His tone is as monotonous as ever, but it still doesn’t stop the heat from rushing to your cheeks at dizzying speeds. And isn’t that just great, the greatest footballer in the world is now lecturing you about your love life.
❋ Or lack thereof.
❋ Isagi’s going to have a field day when he finds out.

Vince Noir x Reader
Tumblr media
Somehow Howard had convinced everyone to go camping again (promises of staying far away from yeti territory and no lectures certainly helped his case). Once again he was fretting over leaving on time, despite constant reminders that this was supposed to be a holiday.
“For god sake Howard, have a drink or something, relax,” you tell him after the fifth time he points to his watch. You and Vince haul your overstuffed suitcases towards the door as you ask Bollo to get Howard a drink.
He brings him a beer and Howard sputters indignantly and begins a rant on driving under the influence before you stop him.
“I’m driving, you’ve seen where your driving gets us. Have the drink,” you retort and Howard is silent, unable to think of a good argument. He huffs and takes the drink and Bollo graciously takes your suitcases down the stairs for you.
Once you’re settled in the van Howard unfurls his map, despite the protests from Naboo and Bollo who are mashed in the back seat with him, and begins giving you directions. Vince sits contentedly in the front seat, pointing out funny sights along the road and occasionally sharing the snacks he’s brought with you. The trip isn’t long and before you know it, you’re taking in the lush trees that fan around the lake you’ll be staying by.
“Wow,” you breathe, “s’beautiful.”
“Yeah,” you hear Vince agree, but he’s only partially looking at the scenery.
The peaceful calm is broken quickly as the other three have a row while they unpack the van.
“I packed all of the tents!” Howard shouts, frowning as Naboo shakes his head.
“Obviously not, there’s only three here you idiot!” Naboo yells back, and you can actually hear all the birds in the vicinity fly away at their noise.
“Boys, please, you’re disturbing the poor wildlife,” you roll your eyes, “it’s fine, we’ll just have to double up.”
As expected, Naboo and Bollo head off with one tent, and Howard grabs the next.
“C’mon then,” Vince smiles at you, grabbing the last tent.
“Oh- you want to share with me?” You ask, surprised.
“Well you don’t want to share with Howard do you?” He asks gesturing over to him.
“Definitely not,” you laugh as Howard wrestles with the pieces of his tent.
“But I can share with him, if you want your own tent,” he offers, but you quickly stop him.
“No, this’ll do,” you blush as he smiles happily at your decision. You two go about setting up your tent, stopping every so often to laugh at Howard’s struggle. Naboo and Bollo have long since finished theirs with some magical assistance, and wandered off to splash in the lake.
“We could go skinny dipping later,” Vince hums and you choke on air, letting out a violent cough. He laughs delightedly at your reaction, wiggling his eyebrows when you glare at him.
You gawk at the tent once you’ve finished it, glaring over at Howard’s.
“You’ve left us with the smallest tent!” You complain.
“I’m a large man, I need my leg room!” Howard argues, ending the squabble abruptly by zipping himself inside his tent. You roll your eyes, turning back to Vince.
“S’pose we’ll just have to squash in,” you tell him, unzipping the flap. He crawls in first, taking the blankets with him to try and arrange them inside. When he’s spread them out best he can, you crawl in after him. There’s not much room and in the scuffle of trying to get in on all fours, you get caught on the edge of a blanket. With your stability lost, you fall forward into Vince, blushing fiercely when you sit up and realize you’re on top of him.
“I think this tent’ll do just fine,” Vince grins up at you.

Soft Moments in the Stars
Tumblr media
Sam Coe x GN! Reader
GN! Reader. No pronouns, no use of Y/N, or reader descriptions used.
Anxiety, worry, some fear (Sam is there to comfort you and calm you down). Comfort, breathing exercises, reassurance.
Staring out into the stars, while everyone sleeps, your mind starts to worry. Sam notices you're awake and stays up with you.
Characters: Sam Coe. Mentions of Cora Coe, Sarah, Barrett, and Andreja.
Haha, bet you didn't expect another so soon! This is short. But I really needed it. Now that the poll requests are done, I can get into the heavier more plot related stuff >:) (Aka: my sad era)
Tumblr media
Staring up at the stars, what a primal instinct it’s been for all of humanity since the dawn of creation. The unknown, the curiosity, the wonder in it. How long have humans been looking up at the night sky? And how many of your ancestors have done just the same; sitting, staring, and questioning?
What’s out there? How do you fit in to any of it? In this vast field of stars, of people, of planets—why are you the one to go on this cosmic journey?
New Atlantis had too much light pollution to look up and stargaze at night. Akila city had too much dust and sand in the air. But now, in the cockpit of the Frontier, the entire universe stretches out for your curious, pondering eyes.
Quiet moments, when everyone is asleep and the ship drifts across the blackest sea, are rare. It’s an opportunity to sit and really think. At times, maybe the constant hustle and bustle from place to place, mission to mission, is good. It’s a distraction, that much is clear. The lively conversations among your crew, Sarah jotting down notes about unexplored systems, Cora with her enthusiastic book reports—is comforting.
You may not always have them. It may be, in time, this quiet, contemplative silence is all you have left.
It’s a chilling, anxiety-ridden truth that you’ve been forced to think of more and more. Especially now.
With every new temple you discover, every new power you gain, a rift grows between you and the others. There’s a distinct feeling to it.
Sarah and Noel look at you like you’re something to be studied. Barrett uses constant humor and jokes to cover his nervousness. Andreja feels threatened by the power imbalance.
Only Sam continues to treat you the same.
Sam—wonderful, optimistic, loving, Sam.
Your shining light in the dark.
Every outcome is uncertain, but his promises of staying with you—always being at your side, no matter what—is a comfort unlike anything else.
A long-winded sigh leaves you. Your mind can’t help but wander into the worst-case scenarios or worry about the unknown. If these temples turn you into some kind of monster… what then? If your destiny takes you on a different path than his, how can you see it coming? Could you even prevent it?
What about Cora? Will she grow up without you? Her own path taking her elsewhere?
Is this all for nothing? Is this endless space an indifferent, uncaring, void that only seeks to be filled with violence—
Soft hands caress your tense shoulders. “Hey. What’re you doing up?”
Like a light switch being flipped, the anxious, spiraling thoughts cease. A lucid calm washes over you.
You lean back in your pilot’s seat, feeling the warmth of Sam behind you. “Couldn’t sleep.” You murmur.
He hums softly, leaning down closer to you. “What’s bothering you, sweetheart?”
“It’s hard to say.”
“Hmm…” He presses soft kisses to your shoulder, gently kneading the other. “Describe how you’re feeling.”
“Frustrated. I guess. I have so many questions.”
His thumbs move to massage between your shoulder blades. “I can tell, you’re very tense.”
This makes you chuckle, a breathy and tired sound. You can feel his short beard against your neck. His lips ghost over your skin. “Come back to bed, we can work some of that frustration out.”
A very tempting offer. Other nights you would happily accept to be whisked away in his arms, forget everything, and curl up next to him to start a new day. But something stops you.
He can feel your hesitation. His lips hover and his hands pause.
“It’s…It’s not just that…” You frown at the stars. Sam’s faint reflection in the glass watches you with caring, patient eyes.
“I’m…I’m scared—terrified, actually.” As if a great floodgate opens, you release your thoughts into the still air. “I don’t know what’s coming next; I rely on Constellation to have at least some idea of what we’re getting into. Seeing Sarah and Noel just as confused as I am…it’s really unsettling. These temples and powers…what if they change me into someone—or something—unrecognizable?”
Your breath quickens. “I don’t know what to do. There’s so much responsibility on my shoulders now, it’s all so sudden. What if I screw up? What if I get someone hurt—what if I get you hurt? Or if I make the wrong choice and—”
“Whoa, whoa. Easy. Take a deep breath.”
You do, filling your lungs just as he does, as he guides you along.
In and out. Slow. In and out.
Your heart calms, just a little, but your racing thoughts still tumble around your mind. “Thanks.” You whisper, leaning your head back against his shoulder and closing your eyes.
“Stand up. I wanna hold you.”
His hands guide you out of the chair, sliding under your arms and around you like a safety net. Your hands lay over his. They’re always so warm, while yours are always cold.
His body presses against yours, flooding you with his warmth, face nuzzling into the crook of your neck. He murmurs into your skin. “It’s alright. I’ve got you. I will always be with you.” His fingers tangle with yours, smooth and practiced.
“It’s natural to make mistakes—and it’s not your fault. You’re learning just like the rest of us. There’s no way you can predict the future, so go easy on yourself. Making mistakes is human.” He trails light kisses up your neck to the shell of your ear. “As for everything else—we take it one step at a time, together. If something doesn’t feel right, we can adjust or take a break. Don’t push yourself. The universe isn’t going anywhere.”
Tears dot the corner of your eyes as you smile and nod. Your voice is barely a whisper. “Thanks, Sam.”
“Anytime, love.”
You take some more steadying breaths, feeling your lungs fill and empty out rhythmically. “You always know exactly what to say.”
He chuckles, his breath is warm against your skin. “I know you, and I know how it feels to be weighed down by anxious thoughts.”
After a few more minutes of watching the stars, feeling your mind slow and your thoughts ease, “I think I’m ready for bed now.”
“You sure? I can give you some more time alone if you need it.”
“Nah.” You turn in his arms to face him, wrapping your arms around his neck. You’re greeted with the softest blue eyes and a loving smile. “I’m good now.”
Sam presses his forehead to yours. “I love you. You know that right?”
“Of course.” You press a soft, lingering kiss to the corner of his mouth. “I love you too.”
His content, happy, sigh—one of your favorite noises—lifts your heart out of the gloom.
