[Inserts Y/N with cheers] “Welcome to the show! Uh you look fantastic, thank you so much for being here”

“Thank you for inviting me, Jimmy! And for the food!”

“No problem! Figured it was the least I could do after the flight here, um…so y/n your career has always been eventful but it's currently exploding right now and everyone’s talking about Y/N L/N and so I wanted to show you this photo and tell me if you remember how growing up in figure skating was” [shows a picture of younger y/n in her first competition]

“Oh….this was when I was 12, I had just started competing after begging my mother to sign me up for a skating academy for like a whole year [laughter]”

“Did you win this competition?”

“No [laughs] I got like fourth place and was convinced I wasn’t made out to be a skater and went home that night and cried the most i’ve ever cried I think”

“Wow, here’s you like what..six competitions later and look you’ve got a gold medal” {shows a different picture of her on the podium with a bright smile] [insert cheers and laughter] “I’m so happy for you, what did it feel like?”

“Um, well it felt like I was right all along, that my mom and coach were right and it just gave me a huge boost in confidence after that”

“And- I mean- look at you now two time olympic champion back to back, that is amazing- absolutely amazing. Uh- a little birdie told me that when you first signed with Team USA- um you were in a Chick-Fil-A drive thru when you got the call”

[laughter] “Um..yeah! I was actually at work- um, i worked in a chick-fil-a like ten minutes down the street from my house and I got the call from the recruiter and I was like “oh god, I can’t be on my phone at work but I have to take this…screw it” and i picked up the phone and if you ever watched the draft for the nba then it’s kind of like that, I remember I squealed and dropped to the floor as I accepted and I just could not shut up about it for the rest of the day”

[laughter] “yeah well that must’ve been an amazing feeling! To know your accomplishments have been recognized and that you were about to go to the big leagues”

“Oh yeah, I was riding on that high for like a week, it felt like- yeah- i did it. I mean, I felt like I kind of made it already when I won the rest of my competitions growing up but that call was the little cherry on top, you know? I was 18 years old at the time of the phone call, just out of high school but then it was like a massive dump where I was unsure of myself and if I really was that good. Hate really got to my heart during that time, I had already reviewed a large amount of misogyny that I had almost given up too many times to count”

“I had to push myself and remember why I was there, first and foremost my passion for the ice, and I wasn’t going to toss away my dream due to bigoted men around me. They wanted to see me fail and I wasn’t going to let them succeed”

“Beautifully said. I know recently a few fans have reacted poorly after the results of the most recent grand prix in Austria..how do you feel about that?”

“Well um, I get that they're mad, you know? No one wants to see a driver forced out of a race following a collision but again, I had nothing to do with that, you know? [laughter] Um..just because I’m dating Max does not give them that excuse but again, there will always be haters and so I do what I do best and ignore them the best I can; I know not everyone can respond maturely and things can be said in the heat of the moment so I try not to hold it against them”

“Right, well what are your plans for the future? Is another championship in the cards? Another career even? Maybe a more serious relationship outcome with Max?”

[laughter] “Um well figure skating is definitely the dream, you know, a lot of people will say I’m too old to be on the rink but frankly, there is no maximum age to figure skating, i’ll retire of course when I’m ready but um, that’s no time soon [laughter] um growing up I was really into psychology. Obviously as an athlete I know the importance of mental health and how it can truly affect your performance and career but I was obsessed growing up, probably from all the late night reruns of crime shows like law and order and 48 hours {laughter}’

“and um I don’t know about the last one, we haven’t really talked about anything like that, I think we both enjoy our lives together but i wouldn’t be opposed to any sort of change”

“Great! Well um, Max if your watching, there’s your sign right there [laughter] um…I googled you today to see what pops up and um..”

“Did you not know who I was beforehand?”

“No [laughter] no- i can do..I know all your poses and I can do it”

“Oh can you?”

“I can do it, no- no I just wanted to see what pops up and it says did you mean: ice queen or ice princess and I think that’s kind of fun, tell us about that”

“Um, I definitely didn’t do that- I guess someone at google loves me or something [laughter] but the nicknames ice queen or princess is from the 2018 Olympics when I won my first championship and that day I was wearing a white and silver costume that I was absolutely shivering in [laughter] but um- yeah, the judges and everyone liked it so much and I think the name came from one the judge's comments on my performance actually and everyone just ran with it and i liked it so much that I kept it [laughter]”

“Can I just tell everyone some of the stats you have right now, because wow. You are currently the highest paid figure skater at a net worth of 90 Million dollars. You are a 5 time US champion from 2011 to 2016 and 6 time World Champion from 2017 and 2023, you have countless endorsements with brands such as Disney, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Visa, Campbell’s Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Kraft, and United Airlines. You’ve been given the James E. Sullivan Award for ‘Best Amateur Athlete, U.S. Olympic Committee ‘Sportswoman of the Year’, Readers’ Choice ‘Figure Skater of the Year’, Teen Choice Award and ‘Cosmogirl of the Year’” [takes in a deep breath] “phew…that was a lot to read [laughter] but yeah, that is all you’ve done since you were 12, that’s amazing!”

Could not figure out how I wanted to do the interview and just decided to type it as if it was like a little youtube clip of the show so the brackets are like youtube captions. You were all too familiar with Eric’s chronic insomnia. Much like a toddler, if he didn’t do enough during the day to exhaust his endless energy, he could easily stay up all night with no sense of time or how tired other people (you) were. You closed your eyes, still half-listening to your boyfriend’s rambling, although you had lost the context of it a long time ago. If you were lucky, you might even be able to fall asleep to his yapping…

As if.

“So I was like, ‘dude, I have a girlfriend, why would you even suggest that’!? They went without me— good riddance— and I blocked them too, so there’s no need to worry. Maybe this is what Kevin meant when he warned me to stop hanging out with random people I meet on the streets. But, I met you on the streets too, so I can’t trust anything Kevin says anymore. Imagine if I hadn’t stopped to get your number at the crosswalk? My life would be so boring now!” Eric continued animatedly, drumming his fingers against the pillow that rested in his lap, picking out the rhythm to one of The Boyz’s songs.

“And I might actually be able to get some sleep…” You interjected with a tired whisper, rolling on your side to face your boyfriend. You opened your eyes with a pointed glare, and Eric’s let out a small “oh”.

“Right. Sorry, baby. You should sleep.” He said quickly, plopping down next to you and planting a quick kiss to your forehead. He was quiet for around 3 minutes, before you heard a small whisper close to your face.

“You don’t ever regret taking my number, do you?” You opened one eye to find Eric staring at you, his eyes wide like a puppy’s. 

“No, I don’t regret it.” You said truthfully, a yawn coming in at the end of your response. Eric smiled slightly, his brain telling him that he should let you finally sleep, but it seemed his mouth had other ideas.

“What if I was a furry? Would you still date me?” You had to hold back a laugh at the question, assuming that it was a reference to his earlier rambling. Although you couldn’t recall how the full conversation had gone, you were pretty sure that even if you did, it wouldn’t help you understand Eric’s brain.

“Who said you weren’t already?” You asked sarcastically, earning a pout from the boy that was almost impossible to resist kissing. 

“What if instead of talking to you I just barked in response?” 

You raised an eyebrow at him, silently judging his train of thought that was getting increasingly more unhinged with every minute that went by. You being extremely tired didn’t help with your patience for his incessant questions. You loved your boyfriend, you really did. But sometimes you just wanted him to shut up and let you sleep.

“What if instead of walking—”

Eric thankfully was not able to finish his sentence, which you could only assume had something to do with crawling on all fours or galloping around like a pony, because you had finally given in to your thoughts and shut up his rambling with your lips. He was shocked at first, frozen in place from your sudden movement. But kissing you was as natural as breathing to him, so he quickly found his rhythm, pulling you closer by your waist and kissing you deeply. 

“Was that a yes?” Came Eric’s first words when you broke off for air. 

“If you mean breaking up if you became a furry, then definitely yes. Now shut your pretty mouth.” You stated clearly before crashing your lips onto his again, giving him no opportunity to protest.

It was surprising how easy it was to get lost in the kiss even when you were exhausted. With Eric eagerly leading, it was simple enough to just let him do most of the work. You tangled your fingers in his blonde hair as he squeezed your waist, letting his tongue slip past your lips gently. 

It seemed your kissing idea worked wonders to exhaust your boyfriend’s energy, as when he broke it off and fell back onto the pillow, he wrapped you up in his arms and let his eyes fall close. You could feel his heart racing, your ear resting over his chest. His cheeks were flushed a pretty pink colour and his lips slightly swollen from the prolonged kiss. As his heartbeat slowed to a regular speed, you naturally matched your breathing with it, and the repetition lulled you to sleep quickly.

Eric held you tightly in his arms, listening to your steady breathing. He was tired, but his mind still raced with thoughts. Rather than meaningless questions he loved to throw at you, they all shifted to thoughts of you. He didn’t deserve your patience at the best of times, and was forever thankful that you truly loved him for himself. 

He knew he could be overbearing and exhausting at times, but he tried his best to balance it with the soft romantic moments that you and him both loved. You were quite similar to each other, the more Eric thought about. Although you were definitely more subdued, which balanced his exuberant energy quite well.

He sniffed, not having realized until now that his eyes had welled up with tears from his thoughts. He sheepishly blinked them away and held you a little closer in his arms, falling into his dreamland with you.

Mental Health 101 tells us not to stress about events that have not happened because then we will have been upset for an entire week that Keng is alive and with Non when in actuality, Keng could be dead like I want, and all our strife was for nothing.

It's seriously the ONLY thing I can think about.

And I keep thinking about it because I wouldn't be mad about it.

Unlike all of these other shows that have done little things along the way to upset me before they hit me with the final offense, Dead Friend Forever has done everything right for me up until this point, so if it did something I don't agree with now, I'd be conflicted but not upset. Perfect example: Phi catching real feelings for Jin simply moved him onto the kill list, but I'm not upset at that development. I'm not mad at the show. I just want Phi to die now. It's like fantasy football and my pick for quarterback is fucking it up! I'm mad at the players, not the game.

The show has given an excuse for every single character. I still want all of them to die, but I can see why they did what they did (except Fluke cancelling the Uber). I understand how Phi caught real feelings. I get it! But I want him to die now. So if the show is giving us Keng alive, I'll probably understand why, but I'll still want him dead like I want everyone else dead (except Tan, Non, and White because they are perfect although I'm still questioning White).

Because this show has tapped into the very special part of my heart where I greatly enjoy watching characters die once they piss me off. By the end of the Game of Thrones, I was rooting for the White Walkers to take out EVERYBODY! And that's how I'm treating Dead Friend Forever. Once Uncle Dang lost his head, the possibility of people dying went up significantly, and I turned into the Queen of Hearts demanding heads roll.

So while you've been questioning whether you're wrong or not for wanting these boys to resent each other, I've been actively rooting for them to murder each other.

So last year, Kaia's good friend Charlotte did kind of like a year-in-review post on sm, and in one of the pics from one of her parties, she posted a Pic of her and Kaia making out (Charlotte was in costume).

As if that wasn't bad enough, Kaia then comments under Charlotte's post: "Best Kisser". 🙄😒

Then, Charlotte comments something else flirty in response. 🙄

I mean, it's well-known that Kaia is queer. She's said so herself. So, idk, I just felt like if Austin were to do something like this, and were kissing a girl pal of his like this, and commenting under her post, "best kisser", I don't think people would just be brushing this under the rug like this. I think they would find it a bit disrespectful to his gf.

i only ever saw a playthrough of the first game but i do have a friend who was a kokichi/kaito fan for a long while so i think i can probably construct plausible deaths in harpers fic. not the executions (the anon who wrote those did good though) but the deaths. and also how i think harper would write them instead of what would work best.

Suki: death is very similar to the pop girl who died first in the first game, but instead of floyd having to throw a baseball at the incinerator button he left an eyeshadow smear somewhere that becomes the cincher for the piece.

Viva: since her death is canonically written as just a way to get her out of the picture and thus likely didn't have a lot of thought into it,,,,, Biggie kills her by shoving Mr. Dinkles down her throat while she's unconscious, causing her to suffocate. Harper's breathplay kink strikes again 😞

Cooper: Since Smidge had it in her head that he was gonna kill Poppy i imagine it would have been something brutal, fast, and almost impulsive given the way harper's completely murdered smidge's character for her fic. and since he's the ultimate baker it probably happened in the kitchen,,,, thinking either shoved into the oven or stabbed with a knife. or both. his second line in the entire fic is him greeting smidge seconds before she kills him

Trollex: the real trick is how the hell harper managed to have one twin do the killing without the other noticing. UNLESS the innocent twin Does Know and is struggling to keep quiet all throughout the investigation and trial. either way the death i feel harper would write for him probably involved,,,, well idk how creative harper is, maybe she could have written him having his gills slashed up and then drowning in his own blood, or maybe he got garroted with a ribbon the twins were gonna use in a dress they were making

Branch: given what harper's like i feel like a) his title of "Ultimate Survivalist" plays ZERO role in the fic/he doesn't get to show off a single skill in favor of more prose of the breek foe-yay and b) bc creek killed him and bc harper was writing toxic breek wherein creek explicitly killed branch so they could be "together forever" AND bc she's a fujoshi with a breathplay thing,,,, i think that harper wrote it as creek strangling branch with his hair but she went into heavy detail on creek's body pressing into branch's from behind, arms wrapped around him and then went into excruciating detail of branch's final seconds from branch's perspective. and then bc creek wanted to get caught he made sure to leave his comb in branch's hair. yes i know i just gave a lot of details but i imagine the fic as harper wrote it was even worse. like "very clearly meant to arouse" worse 😟

the main reason biggie took so much offense to the fic that he did a "serious stream" on it is because, in his words, "i would NEVER endanger Mr. Dinkles like that!"

THESE ARE ALL GOOD... one thing though, i did actually think about what the evil twin's murder method would be:

the other twin is asleep (or maybe knocked out, maybe with sleeping pills) and the blackened drags her body out of their room after hours. it was dumb luck that trollex was also out of his room (maybe also planning a murder, but idk). the blackened uses her and her twins hair to strangle trollex, so there is no weapon left. the perfect crime... except they figure it out pretty soon into the trial, and the rest is spent determining which twin is the one guilty of murder

i thought of this before they said that there was a common theme of suffocation, so its fun how that works out isnt it

“No, I'm worrying Idia you need to get out and touch some grass.” Take a shower do something.” I’ll only touch one thing and it’s not grass,” he smirked. “You better not say me,” you blushed. “Nope, I was gonna say DEEZ NUTZ!” He let out a loud cackle at his joke.

He stopped laughing after realizing your reaction. “I’m sorry I couldn’t help it, dude!” I’m about to hang up Idia!” No don’t leave me Y/n,” he whined. “Fine, I’ll stay only cause you begged me.”

“That was so corny.” You rolled your eyes. “It’s was Y/n but seriously can’t we meet up it’s not like your hours away.” Your right want to meet in the courtyard?” The courtyard,” he gasped?!

“No there are way too many people!” Then how about the hall of mirrors?” Not that place either I always get a strange feeling someone is behind me. Then I turn around and there was no one there.”

“Idia!” You rushed towards him your arms out for a hug. But he stepped away at the last second causing you to plop on the ground. “Owwie,” you winced. “Sorry.” He helped you back up. “It’s just I’ve never hugged a person I li-liked before.” I'm scared.” He spoke while backing away from you.

“We’ll there’s always time for something new.” Come on you need to touch something other than that keyboard.” And you need to hug something other than that body pillow.”

“How did you know I had a body pillow Y/n?!” I snuck into your room one night to collect a strand of your hair.” And you laid there hugging it as you slept.” I should’ve been in the place of that pillow!” I’m gonna burn it right in front of you.”

“No not my precious pillow.” Fine, I’ll hug you bring it in.” He held his arms out closing his eyes as you approached. You hugged him tightly lifting him a bit off your ground then snuggled your head into his chest. He melted into your warmness untensing his body.

“Maybe this is better than hugging my pillow.” You smell a lot better too.” Aww, thanks but when you go home you need to take a shower babe.” Fine ill touch some water,” he sighed.

Okay I rlyyyy want to post the latest chapter (5) of my spirk fic to ao3 but. It’s literally not done 😟. So instead I’m posting a little excerpt here…..

Spock sits at Jim’s desk with his hands folded, noticeably restless, while they wait for the promised transmission.

“Okay. Out with it Spock,” Jim says, peering up at him. Previously, he’d been content sitting on the bed with his head in his hands, fighting off the wave of nausea that threatens to grip him, thinking that he’d give anything to be cured of human anxiety. But now the silence from Spock disturbs him more than anything else.

“I admit that our current situation is one that I find somewhat unusual. Therefore, I highly anticipate this upcoming communication from Starfleet Command.”

Jim shakes his head a bit. “Opinion about our guests, Spock.”

Spock fidgets in his chair, not sure what the Captain wants him to say.

“Opinion on what I’ve done, Spock.”

Spock shakes his head as he responds, “I have none, sir.”

“It isn’t like you to keep your analyses to yourself.”

“It is, when I have considered it unproductive to share my thoughts…”

Illogical, he means.

“But if you insist,” Spock continues readily, “I do wish that you had consulted me before allowing Ms. Hamsa to enter your mind.”

Spock? Jealous? Jim wonders. It shouldn’t be possible. Jealousy is as offensive to a Vulcan as love.

“I believe I would have been better suited to handle the telepathic communication than yourself,” Spock says, “and I could have then shared my knowledge with you through a meld, if it needed to remain classified.”

Oh.

Jealousy isn’t ruled out then. But this is more like the much more logical concern. And maybe just a hint of Vulcan superiority.

“I got enough of that from Dr. McCoy,” Jim says. “I am the captain. I must accept the consequences of being the captain.” But the words sound hollow. Every word sounds hollow.

In an instant, Spock is on the bed, at his side, watching him closely. There’s no psychic ringing, no echoes or reflections — maybe Hamsa’s interference has disrupted whatever it is they had before. There’s just the quiet, noble presence of Spock’s outer consciousness slowly bleeding into his. Less all consuming than the resonance, but also calmer and more pleasant. “Dr. McCoy should have insisted on holding you for observation.”

Now Jim chuckles softly, trying slightly to turn on the charm, to show that he’s fine. Better than fine. “Can’t you do that yourself? You’re… better equipped than Dr. McCoy, afterall, in this regard.”

“I’m surprised that he did not insist. It is in his nature to show excess concern.”

“Well, he’s a bit distracted. Tamara, the patient, is a human clone.”

“Interesting,” Spock says in a faraway voice, invested, it seems, in a distraction of his own. He takes Jim’s arm, one hand supporting his elbow, the other firmly grasping his bare wrist — and there it is again, the burning need for closeness, opening up inside him. Spock turns Jim’s hand palm up, knowing that he understands what this is — it is the same implicit knowledge that forces us to understand what a kiss is. The meeting of lips and tongue, the implication of teeth — of incisors — so close to the skin. Organs used for the first stages of consuming organic matter, or for the last stages of converting thoughts into sound waves, can also be used for this. That’s what it’s like, the feeling of Spock’s hand guiding his. As a mouth can be intimate, so can a finger.

“…What is?” Interesting. That’s the statement he’s trying to respond to. “That Tamara is a clone?”

“Yes… Her presence should provide the Doctor with an opportunity to broaden his medical horizons.” But he says it like he doesn’t care one bit about her presence, or the Doctor’s medical horizons.
