“Welcome back to the Jimmy Fallon Show, Y/N L/N!” Jimmy smiles and gestures his hands towards me, I smile and wave towards the audience and the camera.

“Thank you for joining me today and congratulations on the release of ‘Daylight’!” Jimmy says excitingly and props up a vinyl of my new album on his desk.

“Thank you Jimmy! It’s so nice to be back and talk with you again.” I say with a smile on my face, “You know this is like a yearly tradition every time I release an album, I was here when I released my first ever album two years ago and then my second album last year and now today!” I chuckle.

“You’re right, you have been here after the release of your past two albums. We should make this a yearly thing.” Jimmy winks and he starts to interview me about my creative process, how my life has been going, and my upcoming films and shows.

“Now the question I’ve been dying to ask.. you have been public with your boyfriend Spencer for about 1-2 years now right?” Jimmy asks with a mischievous smirk on his face.

“Yep..” I say suspiciously while nodding as well.

“We can totally fly past this question and go back to talking about the fire that happened on the set of your movie … but what songs on the album are about Spencer?” Jimmy asks with his chin resting on top of his hands feigning innocence as he leans closer.

I let out a laugh before answering, “You are very bold today Jimmy, I don't mind answering that but I like to leave my fans wondering. I love seeing their tweets and posts deciphering my lyrics, it's like they’re solving a puzzle and I love to see their theories.” I admit with a smile, “I can name you a few songs that are about Spencer but the rest will be hidden and for you guys to find out.” I say to the audience.

“Okay, we’re ready!” Jimmy pulls out a pen and paper, eager to write it down as if he’s going to forget.

I chuckle at him, “Okay, so ‘Dress’, ‘So It Goes’, and very obviously ‘Lover’ are all about him, just to name a few of course.” I wink at the camera.

““So It Goes" is the one that goes “Scratches down your back..” and Dress is “Only bought this dress so you could take it off..” … Oh my Y/N, I didn’t know you were like this.” Jimmy gives an exaggerated gasp and turns towards the audience, “What a way to wrap tonight up huh? Thank you everybody and thank you to the amazing Y/N L/N for joining me today!” Jimmy smiles and we stand and hug and leave the stage as the audience claps.

SPENCER : ??

Spencer opens up the link and sees it’s an interview of his girlfriend and Jimmy Fallon promoting her new album and film. Spencer smiles as she talks passionately about her new album and creative process until he gets to the part Garcia seemed to be talking about. Spencer blushes as he recalls her song lyrics and the moments they actually happened, he opens up iMessage to text Y/N about it.

SPENCER : Revealing all of our secrets now? Lol. *sent a link*

SPENCER : Did I use “Lol” right?

anon i'm gonna put about twenty disclaimers on this bc i'm not trying to start discourse but i must say i agree 😭😭 TO BE CLEAR at the end of the day we don't know the ins and outs of d&p's relationship, and we never will. as dan said in BIG ppl want to know who he's fucking when he's fucking them and how long he's fucking them but that is not our business to know!! so i acknowledge that my thoughts on this are my thoughts and they come from a place of personal bias and projection! so if u disagree that’s okay!! okay anyway:

yeah lmao i get that i honestly don't think that they are in an open relationship for a variety of reasons. like logistically speaking it'd be difficult (espc before they were out) and we at least know phil doesn't like one night stands, so it's not like they're perusing grindr every day looking for someone to hook up with. but also like all the swinging jokes are what make me be like yeah they aren't doing that bc if they were i don't think they'd joke about it sm bc i think it would hit too close to home 💀😭 also, i think people read too much into some of dan's comments during WAD. like i get it, yes he likes making horny jokes, but i dont think it's that deep. like even if he wasn't with phil/was in an open relationship, he wasnt being serious when he said cute mutuals slide into my DMs yk 😭 he's always made jokes about being thirsty it's nothing new. also he himself said that all his thirst posting were jokes*! and other reasons too like how jealous dan gets 💀💀

but i also think people have only one interpretation of what he says sometimes, for example him saying things like this: "This is my hot boy autumn right now and I am very much enjoying, for the first time in my life, being free and out and in the world, being able to actually talk about things, being honest, being able to go out and have fun." which, if you want to interpret that as dan saying he's getting dicked down every night of tour, that's your prerogative! but i do not think that "being free and out in the world" has to be about sex, like there are so many layers to that! i just take it to mean like being able to live authentically and exist as a gay man in public yk?

ive said this a couple times in tags on other posts, but i think that sometimes (not all the time!!) the reason why ppl come up with open relation theories is because it's already a given that d&p are together. like in 2015 you could theorize "are they gay are they in a relationship" because it wasn't explicitly stated by them. but now that they're explicitly gay, and anyone reading between the lines can see that they're together, you can't really "speculate" on phan. so, the next progression is to speculate on the exact nature of their relationship: is it open, are they in a qpr, etc. so anyway yeah that's my two cents 😭 if someone thinks they're in an open relationship that's fine pls don't come for me 😭😭

Rose bloom in a mud field–Elain–The Middle

Okay listen...I had this theory that elain would be trapped in the prison but what if it is actually the middle?

The reasons are Elain asked Amren about changing her body and if she could have chosen a male body instead. You have to read the first post I tagged to understand it as a whole.

But basically amren says this

Her brows narrowed. “I had to give something up. I had to give me up. To walk out, I had to become something else entirely, something the Prison would not recognize. So I—I bound myself into this body.” (acowar)

And we have the elain scene in acofas asking questions.

Mor opened her mouth, laughter dancing on her face, but Elain asked, “Could you have done it? Decided to take a male form?” The question cut through the laughter, an arrow fired between us. Amren studied my sister, Elain’s cheeks red from our unfiltered talk at the table. “Yes,” she said simply. “Before, in my other form, I was neither. I simply was.” “Then why did you pick this body?” Elain asked, the faelight of the chandelier catching in the ripples of her golden-brown braid. “I was more drawn to the female form,” Amren answered simply. “I thought it was more symmetrical. It pleased me.” Mor frowned down at her own form, ogling her considerable assets. “True.” Cassian snickered. Elain asked, “And once you were in this body, you couldn’t change?” Amren’s eyes narrowed slightly. I straightened, glancing between them. And as you can see elain is confused when it is asked about going back to human. So what if it is something else. But again pls read the linked post it would make more sense when you read that.

At this point of the story I thought maybe elain would become trapped in the prison...but what if it is actually the middle instead?

We have this in acosf:

“The Middle is full of primal magic. It has its own rules and laws. Hunt the kelpies or lightsingers without provocation and you might find yourself trapped here.” (acosf)

So if you hunt something in there without provocation...you can get trapped. We have lightsinger theory for a certain character...just saying.

And I think hofas gave us a great reason to get back to the middle...fionn'd died there. He was killed there.

A dark-haired, pale creature that could have been the relative of the nøkk in Jesiba’s gallery dragged a bound and gagged Fionn into the inky depths of the bog, the once-proud king screaming as he went under. Horror rooted Bryce to the spot. Theia and Pelias stood at the water’s edge, faces impassive. Petals began falling from the trees. Leaves with them. Birds took flight. As if sudden winter gripped the bog. As if the land had died with its king.

And we know fionn had the Gwydion and later Truth-Teller when enalius died.

My father had never shown himself to be giving—long had he kept Gwydion and never once offered it to my mother. The dagger that had belonged to his dear friend, slain during the war, hung at his side, unused. But not for long.

Elain is the only female to use Truth-Teller in acotar. So...what if we have to go back there to find an answer to all of it. Sarah loves to use ancient people and their memories as a whole to explain the history(example...silene) so what if we need fionn and his memories?

Also...I cant help but make this connection.

Acowar elain

Devlon let out a grunt at the sight of her. But Elain wrapped her own blue cloak around herself, averting her eyes from all of those towering, muscled warriors, the army camp bustling toward the horizon … She was a rose bloom in a mud field. Filled with galloping horses.

Acosf the middle

Islands of grass dotted the expanse, some so crowded with brambles that he could find no safe place to land. The tangles of thorns were a mockery of what might have been—as if Oorid had ever produced roses. Not a single flower bloomed.

Hofas bog when fionn died

A dark-haired, pale creature that could have been the relative of the nøkk in Jesiba’s gallery dragged a bound and gagged Fionn into the inky depths of the bog, the once-proud king screaming as he went under. Horror rooted Bryce to the spot. Theia and Pelias stood at the water’s edge, faces impassive. Petals began falling from the trees. Leaves with them. Birds took flight. As if sudden winter gripped the bog. As if the land had died with its king.

So elain and the middle???

Also another point is...the avallen island was like the prison island because Helena hid 1/3 of theia's power there and once bryce claimed that power...the island went back to what it was.

Helena had bound the soul of this land in magical chains. No more. No more would Bryce allow the Fae to lay claim over anything. “You’re free,” Bryce whispered to Avallen, to the land and the pure, inherent magic beneath it. “Be free.” And it was.

It was no longer gray and thrashing, but a vibrant, clear turquoise. And rising from the water, just as they had seen on the map Declan had found, were islands, large and small. Lush and green with life. Forests erupted on the island they stood on, soon joined by mountains and rivers.

So what if fionn did the same before he died? What if the middle is the way it is bc before he died...he bound himself to it so the magic of the land was bound?

And we need elain to free the land? As bryce did to avallen?

The newest Crazy:B music video for their song "Crazy Anthem" has been released. Because of this, the fandom has been making speculations about the possible landmarks that the video may feature, alongside theories and other writings.

A user on Twitter ¹ has deciphered many of the possible locations in which Crazy:B appears through the video and, possible, during their event story.

The video happens in California, as the event synopsis explains, but it looks like their route starts in San Francisco and finishes in Baja California, Mexico.

The Enstars assets Drive and its future

The past May 18th, the Enstars wiki Twitter account made an important post ¹ spreading awareness about the current state of the assets drive held by the account @.gradualcolors. The Twitter thread written explained that the assets drive — in which all cards, art, chibis, gifs, voice packs, and etc. are hosted, was going to be taken down due to multiple DMCA violations.

A week later, @.gradualcolors mod replies:

"All I want to say is that I want to stick with my belief of "assets = fandom creativity" and I'll try my best to maintain the new drive when I put it out again. I want to keep seeing how ppl decorate their social media with those files or do fun things like reading guides!!

Tldr; drive gone, will be re-hosted because I want to, rip my wallet tho. - H.E. had precedent to nuke the drive for reposting reasons so pls be careful posting fan created edits - Lemme see the cool edits and cute carrds you guys use these files for when drive comes back" (Rai via twt) ²

We don't know how much time it'll take them to make the proper accomodations to restore the folders, but we sure hope the struggles seize sooner than later.

A Kind of Magic 

(Intro, part 1, part 2)

This is part 3 to the series exploring the Metatron as a character - Is this my decent into madness? That might actually be my last post.

For this part I am only going to delve into some symbols and lay out the tarot cards I've seen connected to the Metatron. I'm just going to be upfront and say I'm not the most knowledgeable about this subject - so it's just going to be a general meaning of them so I don't put my foot in my mouth. If I get something wrong or if you want to add to it pls feel free. I’m just putting out to the world what I have come across

And at the end will be a magic trick theory that is a little based in these findings - so stick around for that if you want

Symbols and Numerology

The probably most recognizable symbol in relation to the Metatron is the -

Metatron Cube

This symbol is made up of 13 circles, which can be said to represent a feminine power, and lines that connect them all, which can be said to represent a masculine power. It is said to be the blueprint of creation that symbolizes balances and harmony.

It contains the symbols for the 5 platonic solids - fire, earth, water, air, and ether.

Metatron is said to use this cube to control/watch over the flow of energy in the universe - which ties in with his work with the Tree of Life

It has been used as a symbol of guidance, healing, and protection

It’s also said that Leonardo Pisano, or yknow Fibonacci, was the one who discovered this

He has also been linked to the number 11 which is symbolic of

This one is from the official Good Omens tarot

General meaning (upright) - represents kindness, compassion, and wisdom. As a person he is caring, affectionate, empathetic, a good listener, diplomatic, and easy going.

General meaning (reversed) - overly emotional or too sensitive. As a person he is manipulative and controlling

Associated with water signs such as Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces

The Dreamer/The Fool

This is one I just came across when researching so I figured I just include it.

General meaning (upright) - on the verge of a new adventure that is exciting and unexpected - you may be expected to take a leap of faith

General meaning (reversed) - A new beginning that you may be reluctant to jump into. Reckless and Irrational

The Chariot

from the Angel Tarot plus the Good Omens Tarot had the portal as this one.

General meaning (upright) - big changes are coming that should be for the greater good. Is an indicator of luck, change, and destiny

General meaning (reversed) - unwelcomed and negative change. It may be that things were going well are suddenly falling apart

Death

this will come into play when we start talking about the theory - so just bear with me.

Also his finger freaks me out when he points it at Muriel - reminds of touch of death imagery 

General Meaning (upright) - spiritual transformation, time of change, and new beginnings. It signifies the need to let go of old beliefs or issues.

General Meaning (reversed) - resisting this change and holding onto old energy

Ok and that’s all I’ve seen associated with him. Like I said I’m just putting the information out there.

Magic Theory Time

you may be wondering what is up with Death - I mean Death is Death.

Death is holding Coffee.

In Nina’s shop, Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death, there is a repeated drawing - I can find at least three. And it’s a Skeleton arm and hand holding out the torch which has coffee on the top.

It’s a great piece for her shop admittedly

It’s also a great piece to parallel the final offering our darkly clad angel with flowers on his tie gives to Aziraphale.

an offer that comes with a big change.

And how does a magic trick play into this?

Well the King of Cups is parading around dressed as Death - with a to-go cup

The thing is though the only other times we see an Angel - or yknow God - wearing dark colors is when they are performing Magic.

Aziraphale specifically called out Professor Hoffman’s book - which just so happens to contain an element of how one is supposed to dress.

This book also contains a trick called the Cup and Ball trick.

Now I’m not saying something was up with the coffee -though that almond is a little suspicious- I’m saying it was a distraction.

Aziraphale knew going into that conversation that something was off. He didn’t want that conversation or that coffee - I mean it had to be offered to him three times.

But it’s the actual conversation I want to talk about - we see three different sections.

Deceitful - He has been kind of joking around using his silly words. It's like when your higher up is trying to get down to your level - make conversation as if you are buddies. But it just feels off.

Buttering him up - praising Aziraphale and hinting at bigger things for him

Subtle Threat - bringing Crowley up, bringing up their past

This conversation is set at a round table with them sitting across from one another and a cup between them - a classic set up for a magic trick

3 sections = 3 balls

Between sections 2 and 3 Aziraphale even brings the attention back to the cup

But to pull this trick off one needs four balls - so this could be a part we didn't see or it could be when the Metatron reveals the second coming to Aziraphale at the lift - when the act is finally done and has succeeded

okay hi friends, i’m home from school and i have just enough brain power to talk about

Mythal and the creation of the Blight ✨

those of you who’ve been reading my meta lately may recall that i said i had theories about this. we’re gonna dive into them now :)

if you’ve never taken Solas to the Temple of Mythal, you need to—it opens up SO much dialogue, including a discussion of the TONS of statues and representations of the Dread Wolf inside the temple. I'm not going to go super in depth about that content here, i'm saving it for another post, but the important thing to note here is that depictions of the Dread Wolf are literally EVERYWHERE in there. i haven't counted, but i'd be willing to bet there's more imagery of him than any other 'god' besides Mythal herself.

and in the game's epilogue scene and Trespasser, we get a taste of Solas'/the Dread Wolf's relationship to Mythal. It's a bit obscured as to the nature of that relationship (again, stuff for a different post!), but they're obviously quite close, with warm (if complex) feelings towards one another.

for those who haven’t read Tevinter Nights (one, you should if you get the chance, it’s fantastic), there’s a short story contained within called "Dread Wolf Take You" written by our very fave, Patrick Weekes. now, i’m not gonna spoil anything there, but there's some important discussion of the red lyrium idol found in the deep roads during DA2. here’s what it looks like, in detail, for those who’ve forgotten:

In that same short story, this idol is described as "two lovers [embracing], or a god mourning her sacrifice." there is also a point in that piece where it comes out that Solas considers this idol to be “his.” okay... why?

i think it's because it depicts himself and Mythal. not a stretch with the imagery, right? and i'm not inclined to think they were lovers, at least not anymore. they might have been, but if so, it wasn't the core aspect of their relationship in my eyes. i'll explore that in more detail later on in another post as well. so this leads me to the consideration of 'a god mourning her sacrifice.' (and this, only because i'm inclined to follow the breadcrumbs given us by bioware, especially Patrick Weekes. they're good at weaving stories, as has been pointed out by other users talking about their discussion of what a good story twist is. god i CANNOT find the post?? pls if you see it send it my way bc i feel bad for mentioning it but not linking it.)

in the Temple of Mythal, we learn from Abelas that Mythal was killed, "murdered," as he describes it, and this is confirmed by Solas in Trespasser. Solas says the other gods killed her. now, i'm uncertain about whether this is literal or a metaphor, but i don't think it much matters. i'll explore both views as i keep analyzing and you can decide for yourself.

so here's what i think: i've mentioned before that i believe the Blight to be a biological weapon created by the Evanuris during their war with the Titans. it was specifically created to infect Titans and corrupt/destroy them. this is why we end up with lyrium that has the blight, red lyrium. and here's where we get into the part that's still a bit fuzzy to me. i'm going to lay out a few possible scenarios, but there are certainly more, so if you see something i've missed, please do add on!! i'm going to offer these in the order of what i think is least to most likely.

scenario one: the Evanuris (possibly lead by Elgar'nan, although that's not really important,) create a horrible biological weapon that will infect the physical world, but leave the spiritual untouched. there is no Veil yet at this point in time, so this is an aspect of its engineering, not a feature of the world's structure. they need a blood sacrifice to complete its construction, the sacrifice of a living being (or beings) to finish it and send it off to destroy the world. they decide on Mythal, storm her temple, and murder her to complete the weapon. (this would follow with a few of the things Abelas says at the Well of Sorrows: "[Mythal] was slain, if a god truly can be. Betrayed by those who destroyed this temple.") Solas casts the Veil to prevent the Blight's release, sealing the Evanuris away and locking whatever 'warhead' the Blight is contained within in "the Golden City," which i believe was Arlathan, behind the Veil. this warhead then corrupts the city, blackening it, and accounting for what Corypheus describes when he and the other Magisters Sidereal breach the Veil and enter this supposedly "Golden City" only to find it tainted and empty.

scenario two: where everything is the same, except the Evanuris plan to sacrifice many lives, likely those of slaves, and Mythal instead intervenes. there is a legend told of a time when Elgar'nan and Falon'Din were going to war over some argument, and Mythal interceded, suggesting they resolve the conflict with a single champion each, rather than sending their many soldiers to their deaths. They did so, and thus Mythal saved the lives of untold thousands. What if she did the same here? What if she offered to die for the cause instead of sending an untold number of slaves to their deaths? Perhaps there was something about her form, her body, her power, that made her blood more potent and thus other sacrifices were unneeded? i like this one slightly more than the first, because of the way Weekes describes the red lyrium idol as an image of Mythal's sacrifice. But this still leaves us without a way to account for the destruction of her temple, if she went willingly. which leads me to...

scenario three: my personal favorite theory. the Evanuris create this weapon, despite protests from Mythal, and are prepared to kill her to get their way if they must. Elgar'nan is notoriously ruthless in this way, and if he was indeed the ring leader, as i suspect he was, this is very plausible to me. completing the weapon may or may not have required a blood sacrifice all the same--if it didn't, no problem, but if it did, perhaps the sacrifice of many slaves was still the plan. this matters little to this scenario, as you'll see in a moment. Mythal goes to Solas, a trusted friend, a favored companion, however you see their relationship. (i'll get to that in my next meta, i promise, so no spoilers on what i think!!) She knows of a way to stop them, and she knows it requires blood magic, a life sacrificed. She would never ask another to die for something like this, and so she offers herself. Solas is horrified, but knows she is right, and that this is the only way. Mythal kills herself, and Solas uses the power of her blood to cast the Veil, separating the world of spirits from the physical world. the Evanuris breach Mythal's temple in search of her, and, finding it empty, desecrate and destroy it, until they find themselves caught in the wake of the Veil coming down. i like this theory best because it accounts for all the pieces: Weekes' use of the term "sacrifice" for Mythal, Abelas' description of Mythal's death (mostly, if we take the term "murder" metaphorically, in that she was forced into a situation by others where she had to die against her will), and Solas' attitudes towards blood magic. recall that he says it's a tool like any other, and when it's used to gain power, that's wrong, but it need not always be evil. and note that he says he's never bothered to learn it (possibly a lie, he tells many of those) because it makes it harder to access the Fade. now, to the matter of if the blood sacrifice was still needed to release the weapon... maybe it was. and if so, perhaps that's part of how the Magisters Sidereal unintentionally released it upon the world, as they were said to have sacrificed "slaves beyond counting" (Canticle of Silence 2:2) in order to breach the Fade. So either way, it seems the sacrifice requirement was fulfilled.

in all of these scenarios, it's worth pointing out that the Evanuris, if they're smart (which, don't they have to be at least a little, to get to where they are?), must have some way to separate their spiritual selves from their physical forms in order to avoid the Blight when it is unleashed. I have more to say about this, but it's better left to my next post. :) so for now, just stay tuned on that, but the point here is, if they have done so in preparation for the release of the weapon, wouldn't that make it awfully easy and convenient to seal them away from the physical world entirely?

so, with all that said, stuff that still needs exploring in future meta:

Solas' nature. A spirit? A demon? A god? Just some fucking guy trying to do the right thing? I'll talk about this next time. :)

Hi! I have already answered my feelings about Spider with an Avatar, but it was quite a bit ago so I will link that post here. If there are more specifics you or anyone else wants to know, ask away! As for what I think will happen, honestly, I've been leaning towards him not getting one as of late. I am always skeptical of leaked information that comes this early and from a production as tight lipped as Disney and especially as Avatar. There were no leaks for thirteen years, you can bet your ass anything we see now is very carefully handled and distributed. Those pictures of him in the link were already debunked, so I am very hesitant to base any speculation on the "script pictures" or the pictures of Spider from the Avatar experience.

I have been pretty clear about loving Eywa Blessed Spider, but I want to get into more detail due to these most recent "leaks." I prefer Spider being Eywa Blessed because he is able to keep what makes him human. He is different and he should stay different. Spider has lived his whole life as a human alongside the Na'vi. Lately I struggle with Spider getting an avatar not being an uncomfortable thing for him to do. The way he perceives it and mentions it, even briefly, in Bitter (our locorro and maybe even Spider personification bible) was something I struggled understanding when I first read it, but now I understand more and more. As someone who has grown up essentially Na'vi, I feel like Spider can relate more with the aspects of avatars that are kind of haunting and disturbing to Na'vi. They are like skin suits for humans for them to replicate Na'vi, and that in and of itself is a horrifying concept. This is something the humans could not have understood before they got to Pandora, and something Jake did not previously understand and still might not. The idea of Spider being uncomfortable taking one when he's older and more mature and has the chance; it really fits his character to me.

BUT Eywa Blessed Spider is able to truly live on Pandora, knowing he belongs because he was granted that. But he is still him, and hasn't lost any of that and hasn't had to change himself fundamentally to gain acceptance.

Link Click and SG connected? part 2 - spoilers + I rant a lot

Ok, so now that I have finally watched the last episode, I can return to my previous post and elaborate more after getting all that info. Ok so now I know that CHX is ok but we know that LQ somehow saw LG watching CHX die which ofc shed find weird because he made out it- But nono you see I think we fans can agree on that Li Tianxis ability was accurate and she was able to see LG basically time travelling to save his bff. Yet we actually still dont know how many times LG travelled to that moment and if he ever did it before events of S2 and possibly s1 BECAUSE LG WOULD HAVE BEEN ONLY ONE TO KNOW... that is until this time because LT saw, but she died, and idk how she gave that info (among others) to LQ. But we also dont know what LQ knows now. So my theory is that yes it wasn't just this time with QJ (thank god he's in jail btw that fight was intense). So either way, everything I said in my previous post makes sense. Now I just know LQ knows, too, and even more than us prob. Is this gonna get tackled in next season? well idk but i dont think shes gonna say anything - shes still shaken with that info dump (kinda reminds me of how Sigma got infor on Fyo in BSD AHAHHAHAHA fucking pararells are insane).

One more thing, there's one more evidence that LG travelled multiple times. HIS EYES LOOK SOO DEAD LIKE THOSE ARE EYES OF DEAD MAN OR MAN WHO HAVE SEEN A LOT - mainly his bestie to die so many times. I really, really wonder how he's able to reverse, but Ig that comes with knowledge of events... Btw if you think why my connection with SG still holds - remember Link click is still not over. He also has some weird tattoo so he's part of some organization - prob people with abilities who can influence time or sth and he wants to change time. Our gang aka phot studio dont anf they are certainly gonna come face to face to this guy WHICH MEANS THAT LG IS GONNA HAVE HIS MOMENT WHERE HED HAVE TO MAKE SOME CHOICE -and that choice may be either to save CHX or not but either way hed loose just like Okabe at the end of SG. Still, I trust devs and I know that CHX is our MC obv and CHX is gonna have to learn about time travel and would also have to choose to do sth. AAA I really cant wait for the next season(s) and hopefully we get flashbacks on how these two boys met (and i hope for that aborad trip they took in the past like STH HAPPENED THERE).

The island being alive is so!!! Rahhhh!! I love the concept so much!

The idea that it will give you everything, make you happy, and then take even more from you. It's so interesting! Always loved the sorta Neverland vibe that the island gives. A place you never have to leave and can be happy and explore every day...but watch out!

not to bring it back to tubbo’s wall street metaphors but the island really invests in its residents and generates entities and natural challenges that the players will enjoy just to keep them there, it really is such a give and take. the way it learns what each player desires, improving itself and going steps above every time to better the experience for the players and keep them around. it’s so very neverland it’s quite seahaven island too

if the island is alive my theory is that the federation is there to study it. the island is some paranormal being and the federation has been established on the island and prodding at it for much, much longer than the players have been there. i think it’s possible that the crashes in this case were not accidental (which. idk how hot that take is tbh) but instead the island causing them in some bermuda-triangle type maneuver to get somebody, anybody else looking at what the federation is doing. still incredibly possible that the federation caused every crash because they wanted to see how the island would interact with people— sidenote i saw this theory somewhere (i think on here pls let me know if it’s you i’ll link the post) that the ice block batch of players are actually the original players from the trailer because the island’s infrastructure looks so different between the trailer and when our initial sixteen batch joined which is delicious meta that’s so interesting, n makes it possible that the federation brought that first ice block batch and the island knows what happened to them and then crashed a train and a boat and a plane to rally up players to find them

Genetically Accurate Desiderata Valley

Hi everyone, Didn't expect to be gone from doing stuff online for so long but I guess I'm back, idk. No idea for how long As previous post stated, I already posted what I made so far, so it was probably about time to make some new stuff. So here is another GC hood of mine.

Friend of mine was looking for my GC Desiderata Valley, but couldn't find it cuz it didn't exist yet lol, so I thought I may get back to making GC hoods as it was next on my list before I stopped xd. Idea is the same as always - I took 1st gen ancestors, mixed them together and mixed these results together to get new faces for our playable sims. Tried to make them look as good and unique as it was possible with these faces. I think these ones look pretty good. I'm pretty happy with the results here.

Also yeah. Changed PC, didn't install clean UI on new one, so the pics will look blue from now on probably, lmao After such break I managed to lose count of my hoods, so I named this one (subhood version) 07, cuz I believe last one was 06 as Tutorial.

Only one I have mixed feelings about is Issac. I kinda like how he looks but I'm really unsure if it fits him. But I decided to keep it, as he looks really unique with it, and kinda shows his unique ancestors.

Unplayable sims (like deceased parents, spouses, uncles, etc etc) also got genetically mixed faces so I recommend checking trees if you feel like it.

I had to launch these neighbourhoods in game to edit everything so UC is required. In theory I didn’t use any expansion packs but that’s how the sims works sadly. Wrote it all after work at around 2-3am, so if I forgot something pls forgive me lmao also feel free to comment opinions.

i also don't see why it's such a big deal, in the end. someone used a term to describe a certain experience that people with CDDs and without CDDs experience. if you don't personally like the term, that's fine, but regardless of if you use "plurality" or "multiplicity" or "systemhood" or "the 58 dogs inside of my trenchcoat", if everyone reading understands it to mean "the experience of having multiple parts/alters/headmates/people in a brain", why should the specific word matter unless it's directed towards a specific person?

i already said this in a comment elsewhere, but it just reminds me of people angry over "queer" as a label. yes, for some, it is a slur that triggers them, and they wouldn't want to have that label used for them. but for others, it's a liberating label that doesn't specify anything besides what is needed, and it encompasses many ideas that a phrase like "lgbt" on its own might not.

and unless you want to do the same thing people did with "lgbtq+" and do an acronym with systemhood, plurality, and multiplicity in a phrase to combine their related experiences, then otherwise we have to accept that sometimes people will use words we don't personally like on their personal posts.

A very long ramble

We're taking this to a new post, starting fresh, and going more in depth. The original post is off course and confusing, and I've seen a few tags confused by the uptick in polls, so this is for them as well.

SO

We're not talking about which is liked by more people, we're talking about which term hurts people less. We're talking about people who are genuinely offended by the term plural because of the history that many prefer to deny happened.

There is a very nasty history behind all these terms, and the type of people who identify with them.

Some plural systems, to this very day, proudly use the term empowered, despite the fact that empowered multiples were a literal DID hate group. Like an actual organized one, with multiple websites and political activism. Many still deny the trauma basis of DID.

It was the fight for the word "multiple" that sparked plural, an anti psych alternative, focused on personhood and autonomy of their system in a community that largely boycotted the diagnosis and treatment of MPD/DID at that time. There were groups that demonized anyone who identified with the DID label. There were sites about what failures we were as systems.

Endogenic isn't just the alternative for natural multiples, but empowered ones, too. Plural is far more synonymous with endogenic than CDD.

"System" is the current hot topic. Endogenic systems don't have a right to the word, they're not "real systems," just like vickies wrote about the fight over "real multiples".

Some plurals are scared to use system

And all of these words hurt.

I think we should encourage the use of system for endogenic systems, but that's just me. That is a positive step toward an inclusive word that everyone is happy with. I'm finding that I have a lot more words for my disordered experience that system isn't really something I feel a claim over. If you call me plural, knowing I have DID, you're going to hurt me.

Looks like many are back to liking multiple again, so we can look forward to round two.

But which words hurt the most people?

We are discussing two words specifically.

Plural

and

System

We're not talking about alternatives, the conversation was, "plural is safer than system as a blanket term, less people identify with system, plurality is something we all share," and I said, "no, system is safer than plural as a blanket term, plural is seen as offensive to many CDD systems, the priority of my blog. The vast majority do NOT relate to being plural or plurality, system is what more people relate to and are less bothered by."

The why is because of history and genuine offense, whether you like it or not.

You say that no one complains, but if you had said this the other way around, "systemhood is something we all share," would anyone have been like, "uhm, ackshually, if you call me a system I'm going to cry." What would those polls have looked like? We get a glimpse in the polls now.

So what are the numbers? It's still early, but there's really only two parts of the poll that really matter. Everyone wants more options, but I'm really only talking about the options for uncomfortable.

Plural vs system.

"Not medical" vs "medical"

Pro endo vs anti endo

Words are the root of syscourse, are they not? How many antis say, "if endos just didn't call themselves systems"?

Based on the numbers, system is the safer term to hurt fewer people. Endogenic systems mind system less than CDD systems mind plural. The complaints you're going to get would be more along the lines of, "endos aren't systems," rather than, "hey, careful, that can be offensive."

Are we finally saying the fight over "system" is over and antis won, plural is better now? Well, then, I don't know that lumping anti endos under plural is going to help the syscourse divide at all. Remember a couple months ago when antis forgot that they didn't invent plural? The big war over pluralpunk? And how much everyone tried to correct them that plural didn't belong to CDDs? Because it IS so synonymous with endogenic systems?

Start at the top of the post, reread, the fight starts again. Don't put antis, mostly CDD systems angry at endogenics, under the plural umbrella. I know we're not prioritizing their comfort, but it doesn't just hurt antis, but pro endo CDD systems, too. Our history is important.

And going to be honest, my memory is not that great. I'm going to forget my friend's preferred terms and I'm going to offend people. I would rather offend them with system. Less chance, less hurt. System is the most popular, across the board. I believe it's lost its synonymity with CDD.

I would REALLY love to hear opinions on this from all sides.

second of all!!!! ok this is to me so much about the subterranean! like, this shot to me feels so intentional this shot is like oh okay so they are calling back to buffy and they know it they mean it and the way!!! on buffy the subterranean is so specifically a metaphor for the subconscious, for the hidden, for the demon world and everything that represents — our shadows, our fears, our desires, the ancient world, magic, queerness. buffy is going into the cusp of the hellmouth and honestly lottie's imagery here feels like a play on that? except instead of being in the mouth of the underworld lottie is in the throat. which just, from a cannibalism standpoint, hello.

what's also really curious is this is basically the only time — that i can think of (my knowledge of yj isn't anywhere near as encyclopedic as for btvs so pls correct me if i'm wrong) — when we get something underground on yellowjackets? it's just this sewer. which feels SO intentional because like, they could have had lottie's vision take place anywhere but they specifically chose a sewer, specifically chose underground.

and this goes into a pet theory of mine? about how the symbol is (among other things) a map of the house?

where that little baby triangle made where the big triangle bisects the circle is the attic. and the main segment of the triangle, that lopsided trapezoid, is the main floor of the house. which leaves that bottom triangle, bisected by the line that's impaling the girl. a line with a hook in the bottom, a hook that looks suspiciously like the astrological symbol for lilith

like, the "basement" of the house then is hooked into the subconscious — or even if the house doesn't have a literal basement or cellar or anything, like, whatever lies under it. linked to the subconscious and the repressed just like the subterranean on btvs.

and like!!! both of these things are about shame and fear and repression for both of them!! buffy doesn't want to die. buffy has terror about her death. buffy is this frightened little girl, she looks so small and helpless here. and lottie too, lottie is scared of what is happening inside of her. they are both being claimed by these destinies they they didn't choose and don't have any control over and don't particularly want.

and then there's the matter of the just, physical similarities between their two drownings / baptisms?

they're both given a long, white, empire waistline dress by someone else, for a more explicitly "wholesome" purpose. laura lee dresses lottie in a nightgown that, to laura lee, evokes a classical christian baptism. joyce gives buffy a dress so she can go to the prom, engage in something youthful and carefree. there's serious death and the maiden energy here? im just on a death and the maiden kick but like, baptism is typically done for babies as far as I'm aware. buffy's mom is reading buffy's apprehension about the dance as a frivolous teenage concern. but both lottie and buffy can't just be the maiden, they both need to get in touch with something darker and hungrier.

they're also both physically led into their baptism/drowning by an innocent? buffy by the anointed one and lottie by laura lee

there's even a slight costuming similarity here as well? laura lee's cardigan is the same shape of garment as the anointed one's sweatjacket.

and also critically!!! this being calmly led in is so important compared to their terror!!! these baptisms are about shame they're about fear they're about the undercurrent of that thing inside you that you can't name and don't want to look at and it terrifies you because it is lurking under the surface and you can't stop it. it is coming to claim you.

but it's that both of these drownings are a CHOICE. lottie CHOOSES to embrace her spiritual ability and seek out laura lee's help, she chooses to be led into the water. (!! critically!! the same lake where they first spotted the house!! i truly do believe the house was signalling to them from the lake and like, she is returning to that place where the spirit first called to her). and buffy is CHOOSING to follow the anointed one, to embrace her destiny, to embrace her demise. they are both choosing to stop being the person they were, to allow themselves to die, metaphorically or literally, to transform into the person they must become.

and this is where we come back to the dark moon lilith of it all!!! letting go of the self, of the ego!!! accepting the powerlessness of the psyche and letting what we must become flow into us!!!! it's sacrifice!!! someone stop me before i start talking about the hanged man in the tarot except no i have to talk about it hi

literally it is about going willingly to your death, it is about giving up power, giving yourself up to a greater force you don't fully understand!! it's being upside down / entering into the subteranean / into the underworld, and because you are now below, now reversed, you can emerge with new knowledge !!!!! the halo of light around the hanged man's head!! the candles in both images!! the way lottie sees laura lee's head in a blaze of light in her vision!!

the hanged man also fits into the powerlessness of drowning specifically, being lost in the water. the way this works for lottie's drowning specifically!! the way that in her physical body lottie is being held up by laura lee the whole time, but in her mind's eye she is drowning, she is falling somewhere deep below, she is dying and being reborn!! she is the hanged man!! simultaneously suspended with no power and also being held and protected by the hands of laura lee / the ties binding the hanged man's feet to the tree

the fact that their being pulled up / revived also occurs from a trusted friend who is pure of heart and who loves them (laura lee & xander)

there's also the fact that both drownings connect to this primordial creature who very much seems like the lord of this place

the way yellowjackets is so consciously (imo) engaging with w*ndigo lore, the way the w*ndigo is linked to the stag, the way the stag is inhabiting and melding with lottie to make her the antler queen, is calling to her, engaging with her. the way the master is also animalistic, has batlike features. is linked to buffy in prophecy, physically needs to use her blood to escape his prison. the way slayers and vampires are two sides of the same physiological and mystical coin. the way the master now has buffy's blood inside of him. the way you could argue the force that is compelling the yellowjackets has lottie's blood now, from when she bashed her forehead against the window.

they both enter into this subterranean place and become more like this creature. buffy leaves having died, having this metaphysical similarity to vampires. lottie leaves with even stronger visions, having this metaphysical link to the force that haunts the woods.

there's also!! the religious aspect!!

the master is physically being imprisoned in an old gothic church. laura lee is using explicitly christian language to baptize lottie. but both lottie and buffy touch something older than christianity, they both are engaging with forces arguably much more pagan and ancient. buffy enters into a church and is fed on by a demon, arises from that church on some level undead, a new strength coursing through her, a strength she picked up in the underworld. lottie touches the divine in an intentionally christian ceremony. but it feels like the christianity is more like this tether, this stepping stone, that is letting her access something beyond herself. it's a ritual tool to gain access to the spirit world, and once she's there, the thing she's touching isn't christian at all. and she too emerges from the underworld with a new, ancient strength.

i can't actually tell what lottie's necklace is here (i'd be curious if anyone else has a better screencap of what the pendant is!) but still like, silver necklaces, christian context

you can even see it in their eyes, when they awake, return from the water, return from their trips to the underworld. they are not the girls they were and never will be again. their knowledge has changed them. they've entered into their literal or figurative subconsciouses, touched death, touched transformation. they've gone willingly into their deaths and awoken as something else !!!!

tl;dr — death and the maiden death and the maiden death and the maiden!!!!!!!! lottie and buffy enter into their subconsciouses, into the underworld, and die!! and emergy something new !!! all while existing specifically within the paradigm of girlhood and its powerlessness its purity its hunger its fear its youth!! death and the maiden!!!!!!!! death and the maiden!!!!!! persephone!!!!!!!!! death and the maiden death and the maiden!!!!!!!
