My big issue with those little bittys.

Honestly a problem I've seen w/ bittys in the UTMV community before, mostly when i was younger, is they're treated like property, like pets, like a toy. When often they're characterized as just as feeling and intelligent as normal sanses.

I hate this. Having them be adopted into homes like for their safety and to be provided for? Great! Bringing light to issues about discrimination and using size as a metaphor for when others aren't accommodated for? Spectacular! Demonstrating the toxic mindset that using your advantages over someone makes you 'better'? Oh boy do I love toxic characters learning!

But I hate when bitties in UTMV romanticize the idea of owning another human, just small and skeletal. When it acts like it's normal to abuse your power over someone so much weaker than you on a physical level.

So....yeah, uh revealing something about myself: I'm uncomfortable with majority of bitty sanses ^^"

AND NOT ALL BITTYS ARE BADLY DONE!! Just, I personally.... dislike, bitties being as sentient as any other monster... and being owned.

Again, I know it's fiction. And I'm allowed to dislike and be uncomfortable with it sometimes.

Another reason I want more Addams Family with the 90s cast is I think it would be so nice to see Morticia uncorseted and aging gracefully. I don't think she'd go full Grandmama but do you really think an Addams is afraid of wrinkles and cellulite?

I've seen people say terf rhetoric is any hatred of men and I've seen people say terf rhetoric is anything transphobic said by anyone. the refusal to actually engage with the reality that terfism is primarily focused on oppressing trans women is in itself a form of transmisogyny. yes they hate all trans people, but it is quite easy to see who they primarily target with their words, actions and policies, you just don't want to care about trans women. claiming someone is a man hater doesn't mean you get to call them a terf or a radfem, thats an obvious, willfull dilution and denial of what terfs are.

If Damian manages to one up both of his parents and all of his siblings by actually finishing school and becoming a doctor and rejecting both the Bat path and the League path I think that might be one of the best character development decisions ever

Pangur is so funny. she'll run away from Belphie and monster-growl at him and scratch him, but a liiiiittle part of her is enjoying all this. like she acts up the "I'm being pursued by a horrible monster and it's scary" thing when Belphie is chasing her, but then (when I grab him) she'll keep running around independently. 12 year old cat with the zooms. same thing with her smacking him and screaming when he tries to tussle, only to turn around and start rabbit-kicking the nearest object. consciously, she perceives him as a nasty monster here to ruin her life. subconsciously, she's having just a little bit of fun with the whole thing.
