People in the notes of my post about Tesla removing the gear selectors from its new cars, asking how that's even legal, clearly have no idea just how incompetent and slow-paced the NHTSA is.
Halogen headlights weren't legal until 1979.
Composite headlights (the uniquely designed ones that aren't the old-school circle or square ones you see on older cars) weren't legal until 1984.
Adaptive High Beams (Matrix Headlights) were only recently legalized, in 2022; and the regulations and testing procedures in order to approve them are so haphazard and over-complicated compared to Europe's that not a single automaker has even made them available.
Side Curtain airbags still are not mandated in the United States.
Turn Signals can be red in the U.S., as opposed to the statistically safer amber which is mandatory in Europe.
Making that worse, those red turn signals are allowed to share lamps with the brake lights. This means if you have your turn signal on, 1/3 of your brake lights can’t do their job because they're too busy doing another job.
There is no law in the United States dictating that an electric car must put on its brake lights when Regen braking. In fact, the law specifically states that only the friction brakes are required to activate brake lights. You can bring a Hyundai Ioniq 5 & 6, Kia EV6, Genesis GV60, and many other EVs to a rapid, complete stop without ever activating the brake lights.
Early model Chevrolet Bolt EVs and some Mercedes-Benz EVs will activate the brake lights appropriately when slowing down, but will deactivate their brake lights once they've come to a complete stop, allowing the car to sit at a standstill in the road without any indicator that it isn't traveling at the same speed as you are.
It's completely up to the automaker to decide how (or even if) to implement regen brake lighting. EVs and Hybrids have been around since the late 1990s and this still hasn't changed.
The US government STILL only evaluates a vehicles crash safety by crash testing it at 35 mph into a flat wall and t-boning it with a barrier representing a 3,000 lb sedan. They don't do an offset frontal test or a truck-barrier side test like the IIHS has been doing for private insurance companies for over a decade.
The NHTSA performs ZERO pedestrian crash safety tests like EuroNCAP does.
Oh, and on the topic of gear selectors, those aren't regulated at all. Here are some examples from modern cars, both electric and not:
BMW i3 & Nissan LEAF (Electric):
Toyota Prius (Hybrid) & Honda Clarity (Plug-in Hybrid):
RAM 1500 & Cadillac Escalade (Gasoline):
The automotive rules of the American government are pure chaos, and that’s if they're even there at all. If you're seriously asking how Tesla can allow a car to select reverse on its own, and then put the manual override in the touch screen, I mean, that's just scratching the surface.
If you wanna learn more, Technology Connections on YouTube has some great videos on the Turn Signal issue, the EV Regen brake light issue, and the history of the headlight regulations. I highly recommend you check them out because it truly puts into perspective just how awful the NHTSA is at doing its one job: keeping safety standards up-to-date.

Nissan Reveals Concept 20-23 Show Car
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nissan Design Europe (NDE) being located in London, Makoto Uchida, Nissan’s President and Chief Executive Officer, visited NDE to unveil an all-new sporty urban electric concept car called Nissan Concept 20-23.
The Concept 20-23 name reflects 20 years of NDE’s position in the heart of London, as well as the company’s traditional number 2 (ni) 3 (san) and the current year. It also continues a long Nissan tradition of bringing eye-catching playfulness to the world of hatchbacks and city cars. With the heritage of Nissan’s so-called Pike cars, such as the Be-1, Pao, Figaro and S-Cargo, Concept 20-23 brings a 21st century twist to this small-car tradition.

Vehicle mode ideas for future Terrans.
We know that the Terrans are a species created in the Earthspark series. Where we see the Terrans learning to choose their vehicle mode
In case new Terrans are born in the future, I started to think of some vehicle ideas that I would like to see, and in this case they are from discarded prototype cars, that is, humanity scrapped the manufacturing project. But perhaps they can serve as inspiration for the designs of the new Terrans.
They probably think that it is impossible for it to happen, but remember that Twtich based its design on a drone created by Wheeljack, that is, a vehicle mode that cannot be found anywhere else.
Here are a few examples of vehicles that could be used as inspiration for Transformers Earthspark:
L’Automodule
Created in the 70s in Europe by the French engineer Jean-Pierre Ponthieu. This is a spherical vehicle for 3 people and with 4 wheels mounted on a kind of hydraulic arms. The variable base of the tires allowed the L'Automodule to adjust its height to travel on a variety of terrains.
Considered at the time an absurd idea, today thanks to technological advances this idea could be used in the series with an improved design.
I think this form would be ideal for Jawbreaker but time will tell.
Land Glider
Scrapped by the Nissan company in 2009. It was an electric car for 2 people, with the passenger seat behind the driver. Unlike other vehicles, its steering system would be similar to that of a motorcycle.
Rinspeed X Dream
First revealed in 1999 at the Geneva Auto Show, Switzerland, this silver car is like no other. The concept is simple: it's a convertible sport pickup but it has a hydraulic crane at the rear capable of deploying a hovercraft.
While it sounds ridiculous, the hovercraft could probably be redesigned for the series to make it more modern and useful for the Terran or the Maltos, especially the kids.
Also, it wouldn't be the first time that the Transformers have that mini-vehicle design, an example is Soundwave with his cassettes. So I guess this vehicle could be used for a Terran.
Fuya-Jo
Debuting at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1999, the Fuya-Jo was Honda's attempt to diversify corporate-looking vehicles. It was basically designed to be a party car.
The low floor made it easy to get in, plus it was stain-proof and slip-resistant. The interior was designed with the necessary features to accommodate a DJ in the rear and the doors had huge speakers to ensure a party.
I imagine it for a party Terran and that he can compete with Soundwave using his speakers to combat the sonic waves of the decepticon.
Although I could also use him for the design of the forgotten transformer called Blaster.
Italdesign Machimoto
First shown in Turin in 1986. It was a combination between a motorcycle and a car built on the basis of a Volkswagen Golf. Passengers sit motorcycle-style and the vehicle can even be expanded to increase capacity to accommodate up to 9 people.
Its steering mode can be chosen by the driver, that is, he could choose whether to use a steering wheel or a motorcycle handlebar.
Another unique aspect of this vehicle is that it could be expanded further to have more space, that is, add more seats.
PS: This idea was shared because there is a rumor that we will see more Terrans in the series, so there are more chances of seeing new vehicle mode designs like what happened with Hashtag and Nightshade.

Benefits of Using Side Window Sunshades
One of the main advantages of using side window sunshades is improved temperature control inside the car. By reducing the sunlight entering the vehicle, sunshades prevent heat buildup, reducing the load on the air conditioning system and ultimately saving fuel. They also offer significant health benefits by blocking harmful UV rays that can cause skin damage and fading of the car’s interior materials. This protective measure extends the life of seat fabrics and dashboards, keeping the interior in better condition for longer. Furthermore, sunshades enhance privacy by limiting outside visibility, making it harder for prying eyes to see inside the car.
Choosing the Right Sunshade for Your Vehicle
When selecting automotive side window sunshades, consider factors such as size, compatibility, and style to ensure a proper fit and effective performance. It’s essential to choose a sunshade that matches the dimensions of your car’s windows to avoid obstructing visibility. For instance, some shades are customizable to fit specific car models, while others are available in universal sizes. Additionally, think about ease of use, as frequent installation and removal can be tedious with certain types of shades. Look for durable materials and good UV protection ratings to ensure long-term use and optimal sun protection for your vehicle and passengers.

Why China ordered its automakers to STOP plans for factories in Europe
P.S. Real reason number one: Communist China and Kremlin are allied dictatorships!
If Europe successfully electrifies road transport and develops renewable energy sources, then China's communist three allies - Russia, Iran and the rest of the anti-Western Muslim religious regimes - will be in very deep trouble...
Reason number two: The Chinese communists and their EV manufacturers know very well that thanks to the European legacy car manufacturers' desire to save fossil fuel car factories, the Chinese companies will win the global electric car market anyway, because the Europeans do not have and will not have competitive electric cars in the near future!
In 2017, European car manufacturers made the fatal mistake of obeying accountants and unions instead of engineers...
Instead of creating a competitive 100% electric car from the ground up, European car companies made compromises in their electric car designs with outdated fossil car manufacturing technology... The result is too expensive and inefficient electric car production by European car companies...
The best examples of such a strategy of error are the electric cars made by Stellantis, Nissan and VW...! Electric cars should NOT be designed according to the recommendations of unions and diesel plant managers...!!!

Golden Ratio Logo Designer
Golden Ratio Logo Design ( Logo Designer in india)
Are there any theories to design a logo? There are no defined paths but also it is not easy to make them happen without any law. Mathematics has many theories that have great real-life applications. There are many mathematical rules when followed make the work easy. So, people use them in many industries such as construction, engineering and our logo designing too has its place in the list. Any design requires definite shapes and sizes and any shape can be obtained through mathematical figures. So, mathematics plays an important role in designing logos.
Golden Ratio:
Golden ratio one such concept of mathematics, where it defines and explains that when a line segment is divided into two unequal parts, it is divided in such a way that the ratio of longer side to the shorter side is equal to the ratio of the total length of the line segment to the longer part.
This is well-known result in mathematics and the value of that ratio is approximately 1.618. This golden ratio is represented by Greek alphabet “Phi”.
Golden Rectangle:
The principle of the golden rule is illustrated with an example of considering a rectangle, which is named The Golden Rectangle. Firstly, a rectangle with random sizes is taken and a square of length size equaling the shorter rectangle is marked. This divides the main rectangle into a square and a rectangle. This process of drawing squares inside the obtained rectangles is done continuously. A figure is obtained and this figure is named Golden Rectangle.
The theory of Golden ratio is very important for students, who study designing. The Golden ratio has its basis from the Fibonacci Series in mathematics. It is often said that the oldest pyramids and constructions in Greek and Europe follow this Golden ratio theory. Golden ratio logo designers in India too used these formats to design the ancient constructions.
Why is It Important?
When keenly observing the logo designs of some companies, it is evident that Golden Rectangle theory is obeyed. It can be easily used to create figures with various dimensions and this brings scope for a figure which inscribes many other figures within it. This provides an easyway for the designers to follow a certain path to make sure there is a design available for them through this figure.
There are some proved studies that the human brain prefers to view objects which follow a certain pattern and understand better when they maintain a pattern especially when they are geometrical. The designing softwareis also coded using these ratios. That means the designs are done using these ratios. So, when designers design the logos using these rules, it easily registers in their brain.
Use of Golden Rectangle in Logo Design:
The Golden Ratio logo designers have found that many natural beauties in the universe have been in the rules of these theories and when followed, this brings in the artistic beauty of any figure or logo. The golden rectangle is extended to form various figures like ellipse, circles, cylinders etc. there occur many designs. They form spirals and they all fall in a pattern of harmony.
Golden Ratio Logo designs:
The designs of many companies are formed from the golden rectangle and the companies includeHyundai, Nissan, Toyota, DHL, Twitter, Apple, Pepsi and lot more. They all are following the Golden ratio logo design patterns and that brings standardization as well as beauty to their Logos.
The Golden ratio Logo designers use the logo design software which includes a collection of spirals, rectangles, lines, squares, grids of many sizes, diagonals and many other polygons. Using this collection, one can develop an idea to make it a possible logo of a company. The design process becomes easy using pre-set figures and finding a best suitable figure from the lot. But it is the creativity of a Logo designer to find out a suitable logo among the grids and collection of many such mathematical figures.
The Golden Ratio Logo designers also have the flexibility to determine the size of the logo, text, symbol and any other information which makes a part of the logo. So, the theory is used in high-level applications and many logo designers in India too acknowledged the importance of such Logo Design software.
The Logo designers all over the world used this theory to make sure they create a valid design and following this can make them avail the design whenever they need it. The authentic designs fall under trademarks and thus every company can maintain their own Logo design with utmost safety.
Golden Ratio Logo Designers have that ability to prepare logos which are clearly visible in any size i.e. the logos are seen on different types of platforms but following the Golden ratio in logos helps to maintain the ratio of 1:6. This enables the image doesn’t lose its shape irrespective of the size or medium through which it is seen i.e. the logo’s image cannot be distorted. Also, the coloring of the logo and the shades of those colors can get a pattern o follow.
Conclusion:
Golden ratio logo designers in India as well the other counties use the theory of golden ratio in designing various logos of their clients. Everytime they draw the figure and observe, they find out a new design. It also helps in maintaining the authenticity of the logo of a particular company by not letting a chance for others to plagiarise or infringe the acts of trademarks.

My Top 10 ICE-powered JDM Executive Midsize FF Sedans
The third-generation Mazda 6 will go down in history as the last JDM D-Segment front-wheel-drive saloon to be powered by internal combustion and with production ending this April, this race is now sadly extinct due to the never-ending rise of crossovers and SUVs.
As this species is set to be extinct in the springtime, it's time for me to jot down my top 10 JDM executive midsize front-wheel-drive sedans powered by internal combustion.
10) Sixth-generation Toyota Camry - At the end of 1996, the Camry Gracia was launched in sedan and estate variants. The Gracia is the luxury alternative to the Camry and it served as the replacement for both the Camry Prominent and the US-built Scepter. With the fifth-generation Camry's production ending in the summer of 1998, the Camry Gracia took its place and it was known as the sixth-generation Camry when it was facelifted in 1999. This is the last Camry to have a V6 engine offered in the Japanese market. A year later, Daihatsu sold the Toyota Camry as the Altis.
9) Suzuki Kizashi - Originally meant to be a US-exclusive model, the Suzuki Kizashi went on sale in Japan in the fall of 2009. With styling inspired by the three concepts, the Kizashi is powered by a 2.4L petrol engine producing 188PS while mated to a CVT with Manual Mode. The Kizashi is the last Suzuki sedan offered in Japan and production ended in 2015.
8) Seventh-generation Honda Accord - Launched in 2002, the seventh-generation Honda Accord features a sleeker design compared to its predecessor as well as improved dynamics. It was the first to feature Honda's Internavi Premium Club service, providing drivers the fastest route to their target destination. Powering the seventh-generation Accord is a choice of a 2.0L and 2.4L mated to a 5-speed AT. The Euro-R variant is powered by a 220PS 2.0L engine mated only with a 6-speed MT. This generation marked the last time to feature the Euro-R grade. The seventh-generation Accord was exported in Europe, in the US as the Acura TSX, and in Oceania as the Honda Accord Euro.
7) Nissan Cefiro A32 - Launched in 1994, the Nissan Cefiro A32 eschews its predecessor's FR layout in favor of a stable FF layout with comfortable driving in mind. Powering the Cefiro A32 is a choice of three VQ V6 petrol engines from 2.0L, 2.5L, to 3.5L. All are mated to either a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed AT.
6) Eighth-generation Mitsubishi Galant - Launched in late summer 1996, the eighth and final generation Mitsubishi Galant is no doubt one of the best-looking executive midsize saloons at that time with the sporty 4WD VR-4 variant the most aggressive-looking. It even spawned an Aspire twin two years later. The eighth-generation Galant is the first production car to be powered by a Gasoline Direct Injection engine for improved performance and fuel economy. It won the 1996 Japan Car of the Year award.
5) Sixth-generation Honda Accord - Launched in September 1997, the sixth-generation Honda Accord incorporates the Honda DNA through this D-segment executive midsize saloon, hence the car's slogan. Joining alongside the sixth-generation Accord is its Torneo twin and both of them are powered by a choice of 1.8L and 2.0L VTEC engines. In 2000, both the sixth-generation Accord and the Torneo received a minor change and gained the sporty Euro R variant powered by a 2.2L VTEC engine mated exclusively with a 5-speed MT.
4) Honda Inspire CP3 - Debuted at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, the CP3 Honda Inspire is powered by a J35A 3.5L i-VTEC PGM+FI V6 engine that produces a power output of 280PS and 342NM of torque. This engine comes with Variable Cylinder Management that shuts half of its cylinders. Coupled with the 5-speed AT, it has a fuel economy of 9.9km/L based on Japan’s 10-15 Mode standards. 9.6km/L based on JC08 Mode standards. Production ended in 2012, making it the last pure V6-powered Honda saloon ever made.
3) MAZDA6 (GJ) - Launched in 2012, the third-generation Mazda6, formerly known as the Atenza, is the first Mazda saloon to be powered by the SKYACTIV-D clean diesel engine mated to a six-speed SKYACTIV-MT, a first for a JDM Mazda in the SKYACTIV era. In addition, the Mazda6 is powered by a 2.0L SKYACTIV-G engine and the SKYACTIV-G 2.5T engine with Dynamic Pressure Turbo System. The Mazda6 was facelifted twice with the recent one in 2019 when Mazda decided to drop the Atenza naming in favor of the Mazda6 naming.
2) Nissan Teana J32 - Launched in 2008, the second-generation Nissan Teana is powered by a choice of a 2.5L and a 3.5L V6 engine mated to an XTRONIC CVT. Carrying over from the first-generation model, the Teana J32 comes with a signature front ottoman seat on the passenger side.
1) Nissan Teana J31 - Launched in 2003 as the replacement for the Cefiro, the Teana is Nissan's luxury premium midsize sedan that slots between the Skyline and the Cedric/Gloria sedans. While the styling is rather contemporary for a luxury sedan, the Teana's turning point is its luxurious interior which is about as cozy as the sofas and chairs you bought from the IKEA store.
