Been on a Ninjago kick lately and I realized that you could technically consider Lloyd as Ninjago's greatest villain.

Most things in Ninjago, if you boil it down enough, seem to come back to 1 thing.

Lloyd releasing Pythor in season 1.

Seasons 1-6, Day of the Departed, the Oni Trilogy and Crystallized all have some major plot point that eventually ties back to Lloyd releasing Pythor.

Even in Prime Empire, Jay talks down Unagami by being able to relate to the feeling of being abandoned once he found out he was adopted in season 6.

Best apart is, he even started as a villain, he just got redeemed in the same season.

But it all comes back to Lloyd.

The fact that Master Wu's advice of turning your enemy into your friend has only been used like 3 or 4 times will forever be stuck in my head. Like theres more than 16 villains and half don't get forgiven BUT the ninja forgave HARUMI out of all people, who literally brought back 2 causes of Ninjago's infinite destruction, tried to kill Lloyd 3 times, burned her own adoptive parents alive, seemingly killed the ninja, started some street gang, terrorized the city, etc. If they forgave Harumi(which they shouldn't have<3 Her redemption was just for plot reasons), why couldn't they give another villain another chance, not including the Overlord. Maybe not let them free after their crimes, but make them know they were wrong the whole time.

Kai- Took Chen’s place, killed him for the staff and is slowly collecting the powers of all the elemental masters he can locate.Corrupted by the staff, he rules over Chen’s island. Skylar does her best to keep his mind in tact but her efforts lately seem to be more and more useless against the staff.

Jay- Overthrew Nadakhan’s ship and crew. Had his mind twisted by the abuse he faced from the retired crew members. Probably keeps Nadakhan’s teapot on his hip at all times. Maybe talks to it every once in a while, or throws it against a wall when he’s angry.

Cole- He just wanted to learn more about his mother.

Zane- S11 but it’s in an isolated corner of Ninjago instead of the neverrealm. Maybe a Two Moon village/neverrealm fusion. A man who wandered the world without direction settles in the village. Vague instructions in his mind telling him to protect. He finds the staff early on, it having thought to be disposed of long ago. It seeming to be harmless by non-elementals. He gets a hold of it and keeps it. The village will be protected, whether they want it or not.

Lloyd- It’s his duty to reunite the elemental masters. Somehow.

Nya was long gone, taken with her parents when Kai was abandoned. :>

If Ninjago didn’t follow the whole ‘good always prevails!’ cartoon rule, the Ninja would’ve gotten FOLDED by the villains.

Like is she a software again or is she living her best live in a different realm or is she even going to be the next villain and we just don’t know that yet ??
