He had come by with a graphics card for Nimue. It was one of the latest ones out on the market. He knew she could afford it herself but this was something more special. It was the anniversary of when she officially joined Jude. The group might have disbanded but it was still important to both of them. He thought it might make her smile but what he heard as he entered her apartment made him stop.

Nimue was... crying? He was running before his mind fully processed it. "Nimue!? Hey, what happened?" He asked, fixing her with a serious and stern look. He knew how closed lipped she could be about things that were bothering her. His look told her he wasn't going to accept a "It's nothing" as an answer.

"I didn't know you were into that."

"Well, yes, but it was also my home, and only I was seeing it, so..." The serpent demon replied flustered at the memory of her in something so revealing. You could take the snake out of the victorian era, but you couldn't take the victorian era out of the snake, it seemed.

"Hmmm, I suppose he wouldn't be the type to do unsavory lewd things. Still, I do envy him being able to see you at night on the regular as I once had." He stated, explaining more what he was jealous over. He didn't think Damien was into such things. He had met men like him before, if they married, it was more for show than anything.

"That is something rather common place here in Hell. I'm quite used to it, dearest Nimue." He replied. He had been in hell far longer than she had, after all. He let himself melt into her kiss. It had been so long, but feeling her lips, it was like all doubts that she was his love had vanished. It was a sensation and taste he could never forget.

"Indeed you do, though I'm merely happy to have you back... and of course I will.... "

"Wait, what?"

"Don't tell me you still dress like that at night! Damien doesn't see you like that, does he?" He asked flustered and maybe a little jealous.

"Look... let me start over. I have this woman that I was reunited with in life, the details are... complicated but that isn't the point. Please explain to her about the scientific creation of the Egg Bois so she doesn't get the wrong idea?" Sir Pentious stated to the angler fish demon. Baxter was, for a long time, his best and only friend. Surely his attempts to lay out the finer details of their creation would put Nimue's thoughts of them as having some form of sexual relationship to rest as well as this idea that they were his children. Baxter was always better at explaining such things. Him? Not so much.

Pentious knew and understood these things but always seemed to fumble over explaining exactly how it worked. He had an easier time with mechanical engineering, but he still struggled there, too. Finally, he could put this all behind him and get his minions back from his soon-to-be wife, and things would go back to normal.

He knew her brother well enough that he would have been miserable and filled with guilt. The two were like two peas in a pod as the saying went, despite being half siblings.

"You shouldn't be down here, ether, you know." He countered. Damien had told him how she ended up down here. He could have handled himself... he made his bed and was stuck sleeping in it, but Nimue? She should be up their with Daisuke, and he knew it. If she hadn't made that deal, she'd be up there. "Why'd you do it?" He asked her after a short pause.

   She hadn't said much on what happened, just that both her and her brother had gotten shot and that his death had been in vain considering she was dead now too. It seems that it would have to change though considering Arata's statement. Letting out a groan, she ends up flopping down on the bed. Does she really have to talk about this?

   Has been dead to the world and sick with a fever for the past few days, send help.

"I used to cook a lot when I was alive. It was kinda a hobby." He stated, though it was also a necessity, he had ways of getting restaurant food. He'd often pick it a part and figure out how to make it at home. His passion had been acting and film, though. "You could come out and eat with me now that your down here?" He invited, he didn't have too many people that were interested in his "food" ventures.

"A temporary fix? Then let's go back to my place. It's more comfortable there." Valentino stated, waving the nearest waiter over to box of whatever remained of his meal as he tossed a few large bills on the table as payment and tip.

Once that was taken care of, he rose from the table and offered Nimue his hand, grabbing the to go with his one of his other hands. "Shall we?" He asked in a charming manner.

"That so? I bet you're a really good cook then. I like to cook too, but I don't always have time." He shared rather than dwelling on his disappointment that Damien didn't feed her at least. On the other hand, he sorta expected that to be the case.

Seeing Nimue at least take one of the lasagna Fritters made him smile, though. "It's good, isn't it? It's the only reason I come here." He told her casually before she changed the subject on him.

"il mio gattino... that is what my industry is all about. Being at the top of it, I can make all your worries fade away... even if it's only for a little bit." Val stated, reaching out with one of his hands to stroke her hair sensually.

   Attention finally turns away from the window, as much as she'd like to remain watching the rain fall, she also doesn't want to ignore her company. It is nice to be able to enjoy the rain while indoors for once and not in the middle of it dealing with something or another. The brief respite is .. nice.

" Would you like some help? Or perhaps I could get snacks to go with the tea if you'd prefer. I'm sure there's something around here, though I'm not exactly against baking something either. "

   It's .. strange. Strange that anyone would take the time to care for her when she's grown up so used to caring for herself in this little town. Perhaps she shouldn't have answered the door today, perhaps she should've stayed in bed, perhaps she shouldn't have shown signs of being ill. Yet here he is, aware of her fever because she had poorly cared for herself and it's finally backfired on her since she pushed herself a little too hard. 

   Despite her insisting that she'll be fine, he remained, something she doesn't really understand, but remains there in silence for quite some time while he's there. Normally, she would keep it to herself, any questions or reasons as to wonder why someone would stick around, but against better judgment, she speaks, although she does not turn her head to look at him as she does so.

" I don't understand why you feel the need to stay. Surely you have other more important things to do? "

   By no means is it her telling him to go away, no harshness behind it, just .. confusion. Granted, even she knows that if he were to actually leave, she would just be up and about until she collapsed somewhere for a few days, which is the one reason she hasn't tried to really run him off after he seemed determined to stay. 

" Either way, I suppose I should apologize. "

   She's not really sure for what though just yet.
