Is there anything out there yet about a Nika worshiping cult trying to capture Luffy. Because there should be.
Maybe the crew comes a cross an island and the people are way to friendly. It’s giving Zoro flashbacks of Wiskey Peaks and he’s already starting to warn the crew not to trust these people.
But they’re so nice. Offering the crew food (Luffy’s sold)
and taking about a treasure hidden on the island (Nami’s all in as soon as money is brought up)
There are beautiful women who are more then excited to watch Sanji cook (Sanji’s suspicion is gone instantly)
Usopp’s with Zoro, always be cautious. But then they start complimenting the Sunny and Franky is proud to tell them about his baby and Usopp gets roped into talking about his inventions and then people are complimenting him(“come on Zoro-bro lighten up.”)
Brook is entertaining while Sanji cooks, both wrapped up in the tasks and the women around them.
Chopper’s been distracted by all the people complimenting him
The only people still on guard are Robin, Jinbei, and Zoro (no matter how much sake they put in front of him he’s not going to drop his guard. Not when the people seem really focused on his captain.
Robin is indulging the crowd but her eyes are sharp waiting for the Betrayal to come. It’s how she survived for so long and she’s not losing her crew.
Jinbei’s been around for a while and while he starts to drop his guard. (His captain and crew seem content to enjoy themselves, relaxing might not hurt) he hears some whispering of Nika in the crowd. He can’t pin down who is talking or what is being said but he’s not letting his guard drop until he knows their intensions.
Zoro is staying pretty close to Luffy as he watches over the rest of the crew. One of the villagers hands Luffy a drink and he downs it without thinking. And then he starts choking.
His hand goes up to his throat and he can’t breath. There’s no air making its way in. Zoro’s attention is immediately on his captain. Holding him up and trying to figure out what is wrong. The crowd starts to push in towards them and Zoro is quick to draw Wado Ichimonji holding Luffy close with his other hand and calling for the crew.
He can’t draw Sandai Kitetsu yet, she’s screaming for blood and he is to but he can’t give in to that impulse until Luffy is safe with another crew mate and they know what’s going on. It’s the same reason he doesn’t draw Enma who calling for the death of anyone threatening their king. Wado Ichimonji is protective of Luffy, loyal as Zoro and while she also wants to kill anyone who harms their captain she’ll wait until Luffy is out of harms way before demanding blood
The crew quickly gets between the crowd and their captain. Chopper quickly realizing the Luffy’s been poisoned.
Robin demands the antidote, already holding several of the leaders with her devil fruit ability. But the leaders laugh and tell them that there isn’t one. Why would they give him something with an antidote when they were trying to free Nika.
The crew starts to spiral at the first part, there has to be a cure! But then the second phrase registers. What do they mean free Nika?
Jinbei asks, more demands an answer. He can hear Luffy’s struggling gasps getting weaker and weaker and the whole crew is ready to burn the island down if they stop.
The leader smiles and goes on a tangent about how they have waited for Nika and they know he resides with in their captain. And that their prophecy says that to free Nika they need to kill his host.
Right now Nika is suppressed by his hosts consciousness but if the host life is put in danger, if he is about to die Nika will come forward and keep the body alive. They want to bring Nika forward. If they wounded Luffy then Nika would only stay in command until the wound healed. But an incurable poison. Nika will be in control for the rest of time. The sun god will return. And all it will cost is the life of their captain. They should be honored that they get to witness this glorious moment.
The strawhats are losing their minds. They can’t be serious. That’s not how devil fruits work. If they don’t give them the antidote right now they will all die!
Jinbei cuts through all the yelling and tells them they are wrong. He’s seen Luffy at deaths door before and Nika didn’t awaken.
But just as he finishes his sentence. Luffy’s body spasms and he goes rigid before his body goes lax and he fall deathly still. Zoro still has a hold of him and has to witness/feel the whole event as he called out “Luffy!” Alerting the rest of the crew.
For a moment everything is still. Then Luffy’s eyes snap back open but they are a different color. His hair turns stark white, his clothing changes as well. But it’s not like Wano. There is no laughter, no Joy. And isn’t it haunting to look at joyless Joyboy.
He rise up out of Zoro’s hold. He barly looks at his crew and when he does there is no warmth in his eyes.
This is a god that is furious at his host just being taken from him.
This is my base idea. From here I think I would have the crew go on a quest to find a cure for Luffy.
All the while Nika is standing there in Luffy’s place once they leave the island Nika is back to being Joyfull but it’s different from Luffy. They have to stop the god from running off (how do you contain freedom?) he’s laughing and bouncing around but he’s not Luffy. He knows all of them because Luffy thinks of them none stop but it’s that second degree of knowing someone, like meeting a friend of a friend. All of the warmth and love Luffy shows his crew is missing because Nika isn’t Luffy.

Thank you so much!!!
You did such a wonderful job and I can’t wait to see where you go from here!!!!
The sun looks like a straw hat sinking into the waves- disappearing into the ocean just like Zoro’s, the crew’s, joy disappearing before their eyes.
Originally called to the promise of adventure by the glistening of sea-king scales that littered the shore of the island and lanterns that dotted the coast like constellations only the gods could design, they find a town with ulterior motives for their crew.
Release Nika.
"Then Luffy’s eyes snap back open but they are white. The color of white stretched across the canvas like a spectral whisper, an ethereal hue that refused the comforting embrace of warmth."
Based on
@one-idea’s Idea of a a Nika worshiping cult trying to capture Luffy.

Half asleep dumb One Piece AU/fic prompt where multiple straw hats are actual Gods.
Like Luffy is actually Nika sun god (whose parents are Dragon god of winds and Crocodile god of deserts and land) is seeing all these mortal who are pirates and there sense of freedom and decides i'm gonna do that, so sneaks down to earth, while dragging Zoro along of course (Zoro is child of Mihawk god of death and the underworld, Zoro is future God of Death and Perona future goddess of the underworld)
The think is mortals aren't meant to know gods are real so all the pantheon is trying to figure out how to get him back cause he's not really being subtle about his powers, luckily devil fruits are a thing so no ones really catching on they just think he has a really strong devil fruit.
Crocodile does meet him at Alabasta and then comes back like 'Look just let them do their thing he knows not to reveal anything even if he does it's Luffy who would believe him, besides things are pretty shitty done there he'll probably fix things'. He does send Robin (Goddess of knowledge) down to keep an eye on him.
Dragon: Are you sure this is good idea, I mean we aren't meant to directly intervene
Crocodile :Says the one with a cult in his name.
Dragon:....
Dragon:Look it's not a cult exactly
Other gods do disagree and do try to get him to come back, the other straw hats are very confused by some of their enemies but after a while Luffy they're used to weirdness.
Eventually all the pantheon accept this is a thing and we'll just let them do they're thing it's not like they're falling in love with mortals or anything....
And then they see Sanji and Zoro interact... and Robin and Franky... and then Law and Luffy met.
The entire pantheon are just there with head in hands.

Can't stop thinking about an AU with a pantheon of gods and the cult of Sun God Nika. That's part of his hand down there 😳
I'll describe it in more detail later with the final drawing. But this is just a WIP now

Red Birthright - Chapter 8
A Star Wars WFM AU
“Hey, Princess.” “Don’t call me that,” Miorine said. “You’ve seen my bounty posting. You know my name.” “I don’t like your name,” Chuchu said with a matter-of-fact ease. She sat across from Miorine and the two had managed to achieve a civil if frigid silence, though that mostly owed to the fact that they spent much of that time eating. They no longer had that luxury. “It seems that I’ve managed to achieve a perfect slate of dislike across the board,” Miorine said. “And all I had to do was exist. Tell me, is there some specific objection you have about me or am I just that lucky?” “Well,” Chuchu drawled. “You’re prissy, stuck up, sharp-tongued. You managed to upset that poor girl you came with using a single sentence. You come aboard my home and start criticizing it immediately. I watched your weird Mandalorian cult shoot up a space station and my ship because you decided to run away from your home. And I’m starting to wonder if they’ll do the same to mine. And while we’re on the subject, your Clan Rembran is a bunch of glorified highwaymen who think they can shake down us independents just because they’ve got shinier stuff.” “House,” Miorine said, distracted. She wondered if Chuchu would call Suletta a ‘poor girl’ after she saw her in one of her rages. Miorine thought uncharitably that she’d quite like to see that. “What?” “We—they’re not a clan. It’s House Rembran of Clan Benerit.” “Whatever. I don’t want to know. And I truly don’t care.” Most of the barbs did not find their purchase, but Chuchu’s baldly stated concern that Rembran would find their way here did strike at a fear Miorine had tried to avoid. She’d bring calamity anywhere she tried to put down roots. The people here had been kind. Well. Nika was nice enough though how trustworthy was a bit of a question. And Chuchu was unpleasant but it was in a forthright way that was far preferable to intrigue and rumors. Still, she did recommend a very good sandwich. Even that felt like a lifeline in this moment. “That look on your face could turn aside a storm cloud,” Chuchu said. “The hell’s on your mind?” “Too many things. As you established, nothing that you’d care about.” “I’d love to keep it that way but we’ve got time to kill and I get bored. You finished?” Chuchu indicated the food wrappers and Miorine nodded her assent. Chuchu cleared it away and Miorine noticed for the first time that the table they occupied had a pattern of dark and light panels, arrayed in a circle radiating from the center. Chuchu reached to the side where there was an instrument panel. She fiddled with it. Nothing happened. Then she frowned and struck it with the heel of her palm. A holoprojector within the table wheezed to life. Tiny, monstrous figures suddenly occupied the board, arrayed on the dark and light areas. They idled where they stood, waiting for commands. “Dejarik?” Miorine said. “You play?” “I… am familiar.” “Good. Then I won’t have to explain the rules. I can kick your ass a couple rounds and then it’ll be time to take you to see the others.” Miorine raised an eyebrow. “Do try to go easy on a novice such as myself.”

bartolomeo in any of your aus
(I want to see him simp for the straw hats)
Bartolomeo in All my aus - and quickly before I regret it
Edit: More
Edit: Even More
Son of the Fog AU - everything's the same except Barto heard rumors abt a haunted skeleton pirate and tried to find him to join his crew. He didn't, but he starts frothing at the mouth when he finds out that Premium Luffy Lore and Brook is his second favorite strawhat
Teach him a Lesson AU - In Loguetown Barto still gets his reverence for Luffy because Luffy acted the same when put in the same situation, but he also noticed how amused Luffy's captain looked, and so becomes a Luffy And No One Else stan
Yoinked AU - Barto never really meets Luffy, since Luffy doesn't have the freedom to be a pirate
Marine Dads AU (just dog dad tho) - Barto hears abt Luffy a lot later, post-marineford, but is very inspired by his story and once he finally meets him he starts crying and Luffy has no idea what to do because Barto hasn't even introduced himself yet
One Piece/Soul Eater crossover - Barto is one of Franky's peers and was a super tough bad boi but then Luffy and Usopp (accidentally) saved him from a witch that had magnetism powers that Barto was weak against in pitchfork-form and human-full-of-piercings form. Barto founded the Luffy cult and co-founded the Usopp cult, and joined in marineford-adjacent because he would follow Luffy and Usopp to the ends of the earth
Selkie Usopp AU - Bartolomeo is very passionate abt selkie and fishman rights, and somehow knows more abt selkies than Usopp and Buggy put together (he needed to know abt Luffy-senpai's beloved's culture lest he offend one of The Strawhats)
Myths & Gods AU - Barto was rejecting gods for his whole life when he got stabbed, his arms broken, kidnapped and thrown into a field to die after a gang fight. He couldn't exactly figure out where the hell he was, only that the place was full of flowers (that were god flowers but he didn't know that). He ended up chewing on a sunflower because the seeds are edible maybe and Luffy appeared like 'Hah! First time In a while I've seen someone do that' and then brought everyone over to see the hobo sleeping in their flowers, and tell Sanji to feed him. Barto will now tell everyone that asks that the gods are awesome and they saved him and he's still a pirate but hes borderline door-to-door Mormon because he just won't stop talking abt how the gods helped him in his lowest hour
One Piece/Fruit's Basket Crossover Au - Barto was a delinquent kid (and still kinda is) that, in middle school, ended up in a gang fight with high schoolers. He and his little gang was losing miserably but then they saw a crying "girl"(Barto wasn't sure at the time) with a broken nose that pointed at the towering highschoolers and Luffy, Zoro and Sanji all came out, Zoro with a baby strapped to his back, and they all proceeded to beat the shit out of those highschoolers. That cemented them as the coolest people Barto knows, but then Luffy went up to him and said he had really cool hair and he looked like Brook. Barto had no idea what that meant but it started his massive fanboy crush as well as his entire gang's matching massive fanboy crushes
Wing AU - pretty much same as canon except Barto's got some wings with a lot of dye in them, so much it's hard to tell what kind of wings they are. He can't control his wings flapping when he's excited and he's always tripping around Luffy because he keeps accidentally flying a centimeter and then falling
Roger's Ghost AU - Bartolomeo occasionally thinks abt killing himself so he can be part of Luffy's ghost posse but he never does, he also does a lot more research into the origins of the strawhat because he doesn't want Luffy to be cursed (he knows about the curse even if none of the crew does, it was by accident)
Sun's Personality AU - Bartolomeo is in denial that Luffy isn't entirely Him, tries his best not to wonder if it was Luffy that inspired him or Nika. He had a bit of a strained relationship with his devilfruit at first but learning that Strawhats liked cohabitation with their devilfruit meant Barto put some effort into actually knowing his devil, and they ended up having more in common even if his devil is very straight-laced and traditional while Barto is Barto
Halloween au - Bartolomeo is a cockatrice that is absolutely obsessed with Luffy and draws fanart that borders on furry art of him All The Time and if anyone says anything derogatory about any of the crew he turns them into stone. He has dog ears that he wears in private

Cult au! Cult au! Cult au!
So the strawhats, Ace, and Sabo all are part of a cult for the sun god Nika, or Luffy,
Ace and Sabo are the heads, nothing happens without their supervision, and one of the few people who actually gets to see Luffy,
They are situated on Dawn Island, and whenever people outside the cult stumbles upon them they always try to get them to stay, they always welcome new faces
But it's not all sunshine and rainbows, the cult is very protective, so if anybody threatens them, or Luffy, it's the end for them, his brothers and the strawhats are the worst when it comes to threats.
Luffy is a little manipulative in this au, always trying to bring people into the fold, any trespassers or traitors are fed to him, yes he eats humans, but he'll honestly eat anything put in front of him
Pov: you just insulted their sun
Apologies for the sloppy drawing it was rushed

YEAH!!! Coby getting executed by the prophecy because he's a lamb(or ram to be exact) and Luffy/Nika meets him in the afterlife and is like "Hey like umm, can you make a cult for me, I'll revive you and give you cool powers in return" (Coby has no choice in the matter) I'm thinking maybe the Bishops can be the eb5 crew? Shamura (war) -> Zoro Heket (famine) -> Sanji Kalamar (pestilence) -> Nami Leshy (chaos) -> Usopp The titles do fit kinda but personality wise it isn't too fitting 😞 but It's ok because this is my au and I can do anything I want Ace and Sabo can be Baal and Aym!! Back to Coby - when he gets to become a cult leader he's so stressed and concerned about his followers because they're so stupid sometimes. But he kinda gets attached to his role as a cult leader so when Luffy asks for the crown back, Coby just refuses and proceeds to beat him in a fight and indoctrinate him and then marry him to mess with him and Luffy is just flabbergasted actually
Cobylu x cult of the lamb au- listen to me (<- insane)
#srb with addition#hueghsdh theyre gonna repopulate the lamb population 🤞#USING SUMMONING RITUALS OFC

sometimes I sit there for a long time thinking, "how can I possibly word this post in a relatively normal way" but there's no chance. So with all of the love and affection in my heart, I must say:
we here at the AidaIro love to romanticize ownership and possession of another.
sorta related: my general overview on ‘romance’ as portrayed in JSHK
With such a short back-catalog, we have examples across their works... such as Cult making Lily his Familiar (a classification of being that is typically an animal-- another character's familiar is a dog. Cult comes to ‘own’ Lily in the manner more similar to a pet who is under command. Cult is doing something debauched and morally questionable to make Lily his... and of course, he kills her to achieve it)
a brutal ending... but nonetheless... Cult adores Lily unendingly. They mean the world to one another... they want to be together, forever.
In an even older oneshot, Nika Kiri!, we see a witch, and her familiar-- a kitty-boy who is subservient to her, but useless.
....we don’t get any real detail about what it means to be ‘a familiar’, though it seems he’s something similar to a servant, living alongside Killey and meant to assist in a witch’s duties and learning (his master goes to school). By some means, he was chosen by Killey. ‘Familiars’ are a favorite of Aidairo in general-- they also feature in the Hanako-kun of Magic AU. In that AU, more like MDLD, it is more of a forced position one in power can place over another.
in JSHK we get plenty of this! Both in our main romance, and others.... as Hanako binds Yashiro to him-- but such a thing is actually him making her his kannagi.
a girl like Sakura is unafraid to call the dynamic what it is, without any obfuscation. Hanako likes to obfuscate it as ‘assistant’ to soften it to the ignorant Nene herself (what a joke-- she is no employee who can simply leave or do what she wants....), but of course....
....it is a ‘master’ situation. Even Hanako himself will refer to her possessively as belonging to him. She simply does.
Tsukasa is as well Amane’s yorishiro, defined as an object or possession.
Sumire was Hakubo’s charge, and he was under control of her life, and body. His job was to keep her in their home, alive, but not strictly functional. She was his to determine the degree of autonomy of.
like Yashiro’s agency is limited by Hanako, Sumire’s was intended to be controlled by Hakubo.
Now, Sumire and Tsukasa are possessions, objects, owned by Hakubo and Amane, as far as the system of yorishiro is concerned. Treated equivalent to a pair of scissors, or a stone. Batteries powering their Mystery, held within their boundary, unable to leave. Sumire can change nothing of her position, constantly repeating her own final day.
Tsukasa and Sumire are existing only in relation to the person they love, and mysteriously are considered to be accessory to them.
Regardless, they are mutually beloved... just like Cult and Lily, just like Hanako and Nene, just like Nico and Killey.
It’s simply a dynamic/circumstance AidaIro seem to be fond of exploring, for romances, or even for playful games suchas Hanako-kun of Magic.
So curious to see what other circumstances fitting this taste may pop up in JSHK. I think we haven’t seen the last of this style of romance. I wonder if Akane and Aoi could somehow fall into a dynamic like this, eventually? An element of control/ownership could occur anywhere, with kaii.....!
... whatever the case, I find all of AidaIro’s works very charming, and their taste very idiosyncratic, consistent, and cute!

Beyblade Burst x Re: Zero AU
Here’s another year old AU I have yet to share! :D
In this AU, Shu is sent into a fantasy world one day after returning home from school.
Shu winds up in the middle of a vast field of flowers. At first he believes that he is just dreaming, that is until he later on when he goes to wake himself but finds nothing to be happening. By night he is till unsuccessful and is still in the field of flowers when suddenly... a pack of Wolgarm seemingly pop up out of nowhere and kill him, sending Shu back in time to where he had first started in the world that morning(?) This time Shu, who is shaking with fear, heads out of the field of flowers. He eventually manages to leave the field and winds up in a small village.
In the village, Shu calms himself down and begins to make small talk with the village residents. He learns that he is no longer in his world and that technology has not been invented yet. Shu keeps any conversation about his origins a secret and ends up getting to stay in hotel room for free that night. During the night a loud explosion wakes him up- A Witch Cult had invaded the village and where destroying everything in sight.
Just as Shu began to leave his room, an Oni burst through his door, blocking his path. The Oni makes a move to kill Shu, but ends up being killed itself when a sword strikes him from behind. When the Oni falls to the floor a boy in a blue cloak is standing behind him, panting with sweat dripping down his face. Shu only has a moment to thank the boy before he rushes to grab for Shu’s wrist, dragging him out of the building and into the woods.
In the woods the boy tells Shu to stay put with the several other villagers that are hidden with him. The boy then runs back to the village, leaving Shu and others to remain quiet in the woods. There are multiple times where the boy returns with other villagers and each time he instructs them to stay low and quiet. This continues on for what feels like hours until finally the boy and several other figures in blue cloaks surround the group. The boy explains that everyone will be relocated to another area that the figures in the blue cloaks could be trusted to keep them all safe.
Shu ends up being loaded into a wagon with the same boy who saved him. He makes an attempt to talk with the boy and winds up sitting with him as they journey to some far off place. During the ride the two make some small talk but otherwise keep to themselves. It’s not until later on that the two open up and the boy reveals his face to the other. ((Cough cough it’s Valt)). Though the others can’t see him, Valt still keeps the hood of the cloak over his face.
((Going to skip some things in order to save it for later))
Shu and Valt eventually end up living together in Valt’s castle. They have rooms opposite to each other and Toko and Nika are several rooms down from Valt’s. Shu learns that Valt is a prince and a candidate to become the 39th King of Lugnica and is a Master Swordsman who can wield wild magic.
Shu is taught how to wield a sword and later becomes Valt’s self proclaimed knight.
Throughout the story the two become better acquainted to each other and eventually end up dating, which will wind up putting them into risky situations- and leads to a majority of Shu’s deaths...
AND THAT’S IT FOR NOW!!! There’s a whole lot more where that came from, but I don’t want to keep boring you all with the details... I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you want to hear more about this AU please let me know.

Good Time
On y va ?

Master list
This is more for me so I have a record of all my Aus in one place but incase anyone is interested.
Dream Dream Masterlist
A devil fruit user with the ability to steal a persons dreams/ambitions steals Luffy’s dream to become the pirate king. This leaves a despondent Luffy who doesn’t believe in his or any of his crews dreams (their dreams have become part of his) the crew is left to get his dream back.
(Big family feels for all of the Strawhats and some Zolu)
Reverse Strawhats Masterlist
In a parallel universe where Ace meets Whitebeard early and much like Luffy and Shanks makes a promise (to one day surpass Whitebeard) when he sets out to sea he meets with Kuina, Nojiko, Kaya, Reiju, and many others. They go on the strawhat journey (with some twist and turns)
One day (maybe in the Wano fight maybe not) a devil fruit activates sending Luffy and the strawhats to this world. Allowing for Luffy and Ace to reunite, but also Robin and Olivia (her mom) Chopper and Dr. Hiriluk, Law and Rosinante and many more.
Official Fic
Zoro’s arc Masterlist
I really wanted a Zoro arc. Where his old sensei contacts him about needing Wado Ichimonji (to defeat an enemy that can only be cut by one of the 21 great grade blades) Zoro has to return but he hates leaving the crew. He tells Luffy (there’s no way he’s leaving without an explanation) and Luffy is not letting him go alone.
There are many twist including old memories and new knowledge (maybe Kuina’s death wasn’t an accident)
Big Zoro feels, his relationship with the crew and some Zolu (cause I can)
(Pleant of Zoro and crew feels but mainly Zolu)
Nika cult Masterlist
A Nika worshiping cult wants to bring Nika back to the world, to do this they have to kill Luffy. They almost succeed, Nika takes over to keep Luffy alive. Now it’s up to the crew to find away to save Luffy. But it’s so weird to travel with Nika. Who knows them, because Luffy loves his crew, but Nika is not Luffy. So it’s like hanging out with your loved ones friend you never met.
Big focus on the crews love for Luffy. (All the crew including Jinbei) big focus on Sanji (whole cake guilt) Robin (she adores her captain and crew) and Zolu
Wado’s POV Masterlist
A retelling of One Piece from Wado Ichimonji’s point of view
Her pride in her dumb son Zoro, her adoration of their captain and king, her love of the crew, and her absolute annoyance with Sandai Kitsune. (Also the relationships with Yubashiri, Shusui, and Enma)
Sun god and king of hell / madoka magica fusion
If you’ve watched Madoka Magica you know. But Luffy loses himself to Nika. Maybe to save the crew of maybe the whole fleet, but Luffy’s no longer in control. Zoro truly becomes the king of hell and uses his power as Asura to block Nika’s influence over Luffy, allowing Luffy to be Luffy. But every now and then Nika tries to break free.
Please just watch the end of madoka magica revolution
Part 1
An actually plot?

Part 1: main concept
Shanks raises ASL brother Masterlist
This involves a lot of rearranging of cannon events. But basically Shanks realizes that Luffy is living alone and promises him the next time he comes to Dawn island he’ll take Luffy with him. Crap finds out and take Luffy to Dadan, where he meets Ace and Sabo. Shanks returns just in time to stop the Bluejam pirates from separating the ASL brothers. He spends some time getting to know the other two boys and decides to take them with him.
Skyward Sword/Zelda au
Luffy remembers his past Life and Nika while separated from the crew. The crew is trying to find him while slowly remembering their own past lives. They are only finding bits and pieces but one memory stands out. The death of Nika at the hands of Asura.
The whole story follows the idea of Skyward sword. That Luffy is Nika reincarnated and needs to finish the job Nika set out to do before he past. Other people (the red hair pirates or the revolutionary’s) are helping him remember his past life while stoping the Strawhats from interfering.
The main idea
Who is guiding Luffy/who is taunting the crew
The Strawhats past lives and feelings
The Spade’s save Ace Masterlist
Masked Deuce, Mihar, and Skull the officers of the Soade pirates chase after Ace when he leaves the Moby. They catch up just in time to pull him out of his fight with Blackbeard. Hurray Ace is safe, but they have a new problem. Blackbeard is going after Luffy.

Nika cult part 2
Part 1
The worst part, is that Nika, no matter how much he looks or sounds like him, is not Luffy.
As much as the crew might complain(fondly) about Luffy’s boundless energy, Luffy does know how to be still. Not the way you might think, he can’t sit for hours or even minutes unmoving, but he knows how and when to be present with his crew.
There are days when Sanji needs company in the kitchen. When his thoughts get to loud. When he remembers his childhood and his siblings. When he remembers whole cake Island and all his crew gave up for him. when he feels useless or worthless.
Luffy comes and sits with him and asks about what food he’s making or just starts talking about anything and nothing. On really bad days he will ask Sanji about the All Blue and just listen to his chef tell him about his dream.
There are days when Arlong hangs heavy over Nami. Days where drawling maps hurt her hands, days when saving one berri feels like the difference between life and death. And Luffy just places his hat of her head and tells her about how he and Ace used to dine and dash or how they found treasure to save up for their adventures out at sea. And most of the stories are silly and make Nami smile but they all have the undertone of, ‘it’s okay, I’ve been with out money before we don’t need it to survive, you’re doing a great job taking care of us.’
And Nami knows her captain and crew come from ruff backgrounds, none of them are used to fortune and the luxuries that money can buy. And maybe that’s one of the reasons she’s still so obsessed with money. Yes she likes money. But before it was to free Cocoyashi. And now it to provide for her crew and her family. But it’s nice to have Luffy remind her it’s not necessary.
There are days when Usopp doesn’t believe he belongs on the crew. Not after his behavior on Water 7, not with how weak he still is compared to the others. He will lock himself in his work shop and try and find ways to improve his weaponry, or Nami’s clima-tact. He will work until his hands are raw, until he’s falling asleep at his table.
Or he will if Luffy doesn’t interrupt him. Luffy barrels through the door demanding Usopp’s attention. Sometimes it’s to go and play games, sometimes it’s fishing, and others it’s to fawn over whatever invention Usopp’s made. But it always ends with the two friends laughing and Usopp feeling at home once again.
There are days Chopper can’t stop working. Days when Dr. Hiriluk’s death and his own part in it hang to close to the surface of his mind. Days when he can’t stop making medicine because what if they don’t have what they need the next time someone’s sick? Or what if he gives them the wrong thing? What if his crew mates end up like Dr Hiriluk!?
Luffy will come in and sit with the little doctor. Asking after all the different medicine bottles and what Chopper is doing. Always following up with how Chopper is the best doctor (after all he is the strawhat doctor) and he keeps this going until Chopper is all happy again doing his little dances and calling Luffy a jerk for making him so happy
There are days when Robin can’t believe this is real. That this is her life. That she has friends who would risk everything to save her, who she would risk everything to save. It feels like a dream to not be alone anymore.
And on these days Luffy will come sit next to her and ask her to read to him. Whatever she’s reading that day will become their adventure for the afternoon. Robin loves sharing her books with him and Luffy loves the calming sound of her voice even if the tales go over his head sometimes.
There are days when Franky can’t work on the Sunny. He loves the Sunny and he’s so proud of her. But there are days when he remembers what happened to Tom. How his ships were turned against the people he loves. And he can’t let that happen again. But how does he prevent that. How does he build new weapons for his crew if they could be turned around and used against them? There are days he just sits in his work shop with his head in his hands wondering what the right thing to do is.
Until there his captain, sunshine personified bounces is and starts asking about all of his inventions and plans and it’s so easy to get lost in his captains excitement.
There are days when Brook forgets this is real. When he thinks if he closes his eyes (if he had eyes! Yohohoh skull joke!) then the whole crew will disappear and he will be alone again. The days where he sits in silence or with a sad melody playing on his violin.
Until Luffy sits down next to him leaning into his side, which can’t be comfortable for his captain but Luffy acts like it’s the most comfortable place on the ship and asks his musician to play him something. And the two get lost singing silly songs together until Brook forgets the haunting feeling of being alone.
There are days when Jinbei gets lost in the injustice of the world. Of his people. Of how he wants the world to change but will he ever be enough?
Until his rubber band of a captain slams into him and reminds him with a smile that the world is already changing. Jinbei is a member of the strawhat pirates now and if anyone can help make his dream come true it’s this ball is sunshine he gets to call captain
Zoro is different. Zoro has bad days. Days where he feels he isn’t strong enough so he train until he can’t. Days are also where he sees the scar on Luffy’s chest and is reminded of his failures as a first mate and vows to never fail again. Yet there are other days when the memory of Kuina floats over him and even this many years later her absence still makes him sad.
On the first day Luffy can find his first mate over training and a quickly bait him into sparing with him. Zoro gets lost in it. Theres nothing g better than sparing with his captain. No one fights quite like Luffy. Though the rest of the crew quickly makes then stop because they are rocking the boat. On the second and third type of day though Luffy can normally find his first mate napping on the deck. It’s not out of the ordinary to find Zoro napping, but Luffy just seems to know when Zoro needs company. The second and third days will often find Zoro and Luffy curled together supporting one another even in their sleep.
The crew doesn’t know how Luffy knows about their bad days. He’s always been weirdly emotionally intelligent. They don’t have to know it comes from years of watching Ace battle with depression and self esteem issues. That Luffy has trained himself to pick up on people’s subtle ques for when they need support. Two the crew it’s just part of what makes Luffy Luffy.
Which is why Nika is so jarring to the crew. He has Luffy’s face and voice but not his ability to read the crew. Where Luffy knew how to sit with his crew and be with them Nika is no stop motion. He can’t read the crews needs the way Luffy can. Nika is focused of the drive of freedom and finding away to get Luffy back.
The crew can at least agree to focus on the second goal. They want their captain back. There was so much about him that they didn’t recognize, that they took for granted and now that it’s gone they will do anything to get him back.

The cult of the Sun God Nika, founded by the Donquixote family, sacrifices a precious novice. He was prepared for this great ritual for 13 years. The patronage of absolute freedom and chaos must come at a high price.
AU in which the Straw Hats (and some other characters) are gods of three orders in a single pantheon. Gods of the third order patronize local life, artisans and activists. Gods of the second order are responsible for natural phenomena, elements, etc. The higher gods control the structure and laws of the universe itself
Here are another version of the picture and close-ups
