You think you know what they mean to me? They mean the same thing to me as hannigram, the same thing as nigmobblepot.

They mean a lot. It's not just a nerd and a diva. These are two depressed dudes who don't want to kill, who are willing to sacrifice themselves, who are willing to be friends and love. This is a series that didn't make them destitute and inhuman, but left at least a drop of light. And I say this knowing how badly the countless plot points have been fucked up.

I keep them on a shelf, next to everything monstrous and morbid that I cherish. Because they really do know how to love someone other than their reflection, no matter how attached they are to each other. And it's not obsession. It's really love.

When I feel bad, this is one of the pairings I think of. This is one of those times when you don't want to read anything because you're the only one who understands the characters.

I intent one day to elaborate that in the Gotham TV Show Penguim and Riddler relationship (my favorite) works as a perfect narrative foil to the Dynamic Duo. Their dinamic while very different in nature (if you ship Riddlebird in Gotham you have eyes, if you ship Dick and Bruce you need therapy and pls block my account) has some key similar aspects to Batman and Robin (specially Dicks Robin) and it makes imagining this two duos facing each other an amazing experience. Alas, today it's not that day, I have a big test tomorrow and I should be sleeping but anxiety is a bitch.

Okay, I’ve been rewatching Gotham and like, how come I never realized that Ed was the “nice guy” in season 1? Like, I always felt super bad for him because he would always get shit on, but now I realize that he was so creepy towards Ms. Kringle. However, I am torn on the whole Ed reorganizing Kristen’s filing system because on one hand, it was so inappropriate and rude, but on the other hand, it was made abundantly clear that Ed legitimately didn’t realize that what he did was wrong and that he’s not used to social interactions.
