Oscars 2022 (results)
So, how’d I do? Actually pretty good. Among the few misses, I had even correctly suspected who the real winner would be.
10 out of 11 majors (91%)
8 out of 12 technical and shorts (67%)
18 out of 23 categories overall (78%)
If you want my opinions on the flicks themselves, the write-ups are there, as are my predictions and reasoning, so I won’t recap here. I’m more than a little disappointed by many of the choices, but not overly surprised. If I’d been less stubborn, I’d have had a couple more picked correctly too. And with that all said, here’s the winner list. My wrong picks are flagged with red text if you just want to scan.
