Nicki Minaj makes history as most successful touring female rapper
Nicki Minaj has broken the record for the highest grossing tour by a female rapper in history. According to American statistic company, Touring Data, the US-based Trinidadian hip-hop star also broke the highest-grossing concert by a female rapper in history, with $2.858 million at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 30,…

Real Hot Girl $hit, or how we are living in a rap scene dominated by women.
Catalina Navarrete G.
It is debatible, but most of the times when people ask about rap and the hip hop scene, and who your favorite rapper is, they're really asking who your favorite MALE rapper is. Is no secret that there's a disdain for female rappers in the mainstream opinion, with sayings like "they don't really rap", "they only want to show their bodies", and "they didn't make famous because of their talent". We can attribute these sayings to a variety of reasons, like misogyny for example or the fact that there wasn't really an iconic female rapper who made a big impact in pop music like their male counterparts anymore like in the 90's with figures like Lauryn Hill, Salt 'N Pepa, or Queen Latifah. Yet, for a while now we've seen how names of female rappers started to pop up again in the charts, in the awards, in the critics' reviews, etc.
The first name it comes to mind is obviously Nicki Minaj. Like it or not, since she's currently a controversial figure, she DOMINATED the rap scene since 2007. Nicki gained popularity for her lyrics and the way she delivered them. In 2010 Nicki was the first female soloist to have 7 songs simultaneously on the Billboard Chart. Today, Nicki is considered one of the most influencial rappers of all the time, sharing title with legends like Nas, Dr. Dre and Tupac, who in my opinion is the best rapper in history.
Tumblr media
If you don't know who Nicki Minaj is, I recommend you listen to "Roman's Revenge" featuring Eminem, "Super Bass", a song that was certified platinum this year, and "Chun-Li".
After such an impact it was very difficult for a long time to a female rapper to succeed as the same level as her. Many tried, like for example Iggy Azalea, but her moment was exactly that, a moment. Her songs and lyrics, as good as they were didn't produce the necessary impact in the industry for her to thrive. Many years later, and with the rise of the reality Love & Hip-Hop and social media, we hear the name Cardi B. Another great figure for the hip hop scene, she started to gain fame through her Instagram account to then land on TV, and start making music. Her fame rose very quickly and her success was tangible, even today. Cardi B spent a year without making music yet her previous work allowed her to stay on the top of the charts and in the mouth of many. And is that her songs are catchy, and as Nicki, bring a refreshing point of view considering the male saturated market with a message focused on the figure of them as women, not only an accessory to men.
Tumblr media
Of course, I'm recommending some songs for you to listen to. First of all, the song that put her name in the map for good, "Bodak Yellow", "Bartier Cardi", and one of her most recent hits "Up".
Up to this moment, female rappers started to rise more and more, bringing new names to the scene, new lyrics, new messages. One of the rappers that stand up, are the City Girls. This rappers, from Miami, rose to fame after a featuring in Drake's Hit "Kiki Do You Love Me" when they had a very small verse, but it was that what it took for them to have a name in the industry. One of the things that distinguishes them is the fact that they talk a lot about how to "finesse men and in life", and the fact that one of the pair had to spent almost two years in jail at the beginning of their career; JT and Young Miami, Caresha, recorded a lot of song before JT was imprisoned and that made possible that Young Miami could work very hard for the both of them, doing concerts, going on tour, appear in every possible feature to ensure their name , all of this being pregnant by the way.
Tumblr media
Another name, that maybe many of you have heard is Megan Thee Stallion, another female rapper who gained attention throught her social media, but this time not only for her charismatic personality but for her videos doing freestyle. She's the one who popularized the phrase that inspire this post, Real Hot Girl Shit. Megan does not only make a great job writing and delivering the lyrics that are absolute fire in my opinion, but she also makes sure to show a geniuine image of herself, going to college to finish her education, talking about trivial things like anime and her dog, and even to be a voice of justice, being one of the only celebrities to actively talk about racial injustice, misogyny and homophobia. She not only talks, though. Her actions speak louder that her songs, and it is very visible that she makes an space to include black women in her works, to never bash another women in her lyrics and even empower all of the female rappers she has ever worked with. Her songs are catchy to a level that they quickly become hits, "Body", "Savage", "Thot Shit", "Captain Hook", "Girls in the Hood", to name a few.
Tumblr media
To finish, I want to highlight another rappers impact, like Doja Cat whose two last years of work have been really significant in the hip hop and pop industry, and her magic with the lyrics is deeply appreciated by her audience, and I definitely am included in it. We can't forget how her song "Ain't Shit" became a hit before it was officially released. Or Rico Nasty, an artits who revolutionized the sound mixing Hyperpop with Hiphop. Flo Milli, who stands out for her distinctive pitch and cadence, Chika who makes music delivering very important messages and discussing sensitive topics for today's society. Killumantii whose rules made her viral, Lakeyah whose style is made of a perfect blend of street and studio, and many more. These rappers are killing the scene, and making it theirs. And we love to see it.

Tracy Chapman
Tumblr media
Tracy Chapman (born March 30, 1964) is an American singer-songwriter, known for her hits "Fast Car" and "Give Me One Reason", along with other singles "Talkin' 'bout a Revolution", "Baby Can I Hold You", "Crossroads", "New Beginning", and "Telling Stories". She is a multi-platinum and four-time Grammy Award–winning artist.
Chapman was signed to Elektra Records by Bob Krasnow in 1987. The following year she released her critically acclaimed debut album Tracy Chapman, which became a multi-platinum worldwide hit. The album earned Chapman six Grammy Award nominations, including Album of the Year, three of which she won, including Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her single "Fast Car", and Best New Artist. Chapman released her second album Crossroads the following year, which garnered her an additional Grammy nomination. Since then, Chapman has experienced further success with six more studio albums, which include her multi-platinum fourth album New Beginning, for which she won a fourth Grammy Award, for Best Rock Song, for its lead single "Give Me One Reason". Chapman's most recent album is Our Bright Future, released in 2008.
Early life
Chapman was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Her parents divorced when she was four years of age. She was raised by her mother, who bought her music-loving three-year-old daughter a ukulele despite having little money. Chapman began playing the guitar and writing songs at age eight. She says that she may have been first inspired to play the guitar by the television show Hee Haw. Chapman's family received welfare. In her native Cleveland, school desegregation efforts led to racial unrest and even riots; Chapman has stated that she experienced frequent bullying and racially motivated assaults as a child.
Raised as a Baptist, Chapman attended an Episcopal high school and was accepted into the program A Better Chance, which sponsors students at college preparatory high schools away from their home community. She graduated from Wooster School in Connecticut, then attended Tufts University, graduating with a B.A. degree in Anthropology and African studies.
Career
Chapman made her major-stage debut as an opening act for women's music pioneer Linda Tillery at Boston's Strand Theater on May 3, 1985. Another Tufts student, Brian Koppelman, heard Chapman playing and brought her to the attention of his father, Charles Koppelman. Koppelman, who ran SBK Publishing, signed Chapman in 1986. After Chapman graduated from Tufts in 1987, he helped her to sign a contract with Elektra Records.
At Elektra, she released Tracy Chapman (1988). The album was critically acclaimed, and she began touring and building a fanbase. "Fast Car" began its rise on the U.S. charts soon after she performed it at the televised Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute concert in June 1988; it became a number 6 pop hit on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending August 27, 1988. Rolling Stone ranked the song number 167 on their 2010 list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". It is the highest-ranking song on the Rolling Stone list that was both written and performed by a female performer. "Talkin' 'bout a Revolution", the follow-up to Fast Car, charted at number 75 and was followed by "Baby Can I Hold You", which peaked at number 48. The album sold well, going multi-platinum and winning three Grammy Awards, including an honor for Chapman as Best New Artist. Later in 1988, Chapman was a featured performer on the worldwide Amnesty International Human Rights Now! Tour.
Chapman's follow-up album, Crossroads (1989), was less commercially successful than her debut had been, but it still achieved platinum status. By 1992's Matters of the Heart, Chapman was playing to a small but devoted audience. Her fourth album, New Beginning (1995), proved successful, selling over three million copies in the U.S. The album included the hit single "Give Me One Reason", which won the 1997 Grammy for Best Rock Song and became Chapman's most successful single to date, peaking at Number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Following a four-year hiatus, her fifth album, Telling Stories, was released in 2000. Its hit single, "Telling Stories", received heavy airplay on European radio stations and on Adult Alternative and Hot AC stations in the United States. Chapman toured Europe and the United States in 2003 in support of her sixth album, Let It Rain (2002).
To support her seventh studio album, Where You Live (2005), Chapman toured major U.S. cities in October and toured Europe over the remainder of the year. The "Where You Live" tour was extended into 2006; the 28-date European tour featured summer concerts in Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, Finland, Norway, the UK, Russia and more. On June 5, 2006, she performed at the 5th Gala of Jazz in Lincoln Center, New York, and in a session at the 2007 TED (Technology Entertainment Design) conference in Monterey, California.
Chapman was commissioned by the American Conservatory Theater to compose music for its production of Athol Fugard's Blood Knot, a play on apartheid in South Africa, staged in early 2008.
Atlantic Records released Chapman's eighth studio album, Our Bright Future (2008). Chapman made a 26-date solo tour of Europe. She returned to tour Europe and selected North American cities during the summer of 2009. She was backed by Joe Gore on guitars, Patrick Warren on keyboards, and Dawn Richardson on percussion.
Chapman was appointed a member of the 2014 Sundance Film Festival U.S. Documentary jury.
Chapman performed Ben E. King's "Stand By Me" on one of the final episodes of the Late Show with David Letterman in April 2015. The performance became a viral hit and was the focus of various news articles including some by Billboard and The Huffington Post.
On November 20, 2015, Chapman released Greatest Hits, consisting of 18 tracks including the live version of "Stand by Me", the album is Chapman's first global compilation release.
In October 2018, Chapman sued the rapper Nicki Minaj over copyright infringement, alleging that Minaj had sampled her song "Baby Can I Hold You" without permission. Chapman's lawsuit requested an injunction to prevent Minaj releasing the song "Sorry" and stated that she had "repeatedly denied" permission for "Baby Can I Hold You" to be sampled. Chapman had previously expressed her reservations about being sampled.
Social activism
Chapman is a politically and socially active musician. In a 2009 interview with American radio network NPR, she said, "I'm approached by lots of organizations and lots of people who want me to support their various charitable efforts in some way. And I look at those requests and I basically try to do what I can. And I have certain interests of my own, generally an interest in human rights." She has performed at numerous socially aware events, and continues to do so. In 1988, she performed in London as part of a worldwide concert tour to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with Amnesty International. The same year Chapman also performed in the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute, an event which raised money for South Africa's Anti-Apartheid Movement and seven children's charities. In 2004, Chapman performed (and rode) in the AIDS/LifeCycle event.
Chapman has also been involved with Cleveland's elementary schools. A music video produced by Chapman that highlights significant achievements in African-American history has become an important teaching tool in Cleveland Public Schools. Chapman also agreed to sponsor a "Crossroads in Black History" essay contest for high school students in Cleveland and other cities.
Chapman received an honorary doctorate from Saint Xavier University in Chicago in 1997. In 2004, Chapman was given an honorary doctorate in Fine Arts by her alma mater, Tufts University, recognizing her commitment to social activism.
I'm fortunate that I've been able to do my work and be involved in certain organizations, certain endeavors, and offered some assistance in some way. Whether that is about raising money or helping to raise awareness, just being another body to show some force and conviction for a particular idea. Finding out where the need is – and if someone thinks you're going to be helpful, then helping.
Chapman often performs at and attends charity events such as Make Poverty History, amfAR, and AIDS/LifeCycle, to support social causes. She identifies as a feminist.
Personal life
Although Chapman has never publicly disclosed her sexual orientation, writer Alice Walker has stated that she and Chapman were in a romantic relationship during the mid-1990s. Chapman maintains a strong separation between her personal and professional life. "I have a public life that's my work life and I have my personal life," she said. "In some ways, the decision to keep the two things separate relates to the work I do."

With the impending release of his fifth studio album — the first since the four-time platinum, Grammy-nominated 2016 Views — Drake has many questions surrounding him. Can he again move a million units in a week? Can he prove all the doubters wrong after two years of ghostwriting allegations? Can he top “Hotline Bling” or “One Dance”? Can More Life overtake Take Care as Drake’s undoubted classic album?

The Best Drake Album That Never Existed

But also, can he, like so many artists in 2016 — Beyoncé (Lemonade), Solange (A Seat at the Table), Rihanna (Anti), Kanye West (The Life of Pablo), Young Thug (Jeffery) — take risks on his new album, exposing a deeper version of himself? Drake and his legion of fans — and his seemingly equal number of detractors — are waiting with bated breath for March 18 to see what the 6 God has been cooking up. But before we can call the new project “classic” or “trash,” before we spend the next few weeks debating the best and worst tracks, here’s the most important question that Drake has to answer: Can he stop attempting to control women?
Over the past eight years, Drake’s built up a reputation as being the compassionate and less threatening (read: soft) rapper who appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, cuddles up with professional athletes, and gets tattoos of Aaliyah. He’s played the role of Nice Guy by constantly smiling, and apparently wearing his heart on his sleeve. This appeals to the sensitivities of the women in his fan base. But, as is often the case with these so-called nice guys, Drake plays the charmer — he’ll call you beautiful, open doors for you and send you smiley-face emojis — but the minute he has sex with you, or you move on to someone else, he turns into Michael Ealy in The Perfect Guy.
Drake’s corniness, outward kindness and lack of sexual aggression has been misinterpreted as an overarching respect for women. He’s even been referred to as a feminist. But Drake is as much a feminist as Rachel Dolezal is a black woman. His entire catalog is steeped in respectability politics, accepting women so far as their body count goes.
Those songs pale in comparison to “Shot For Me,” “Marvin’s Room” and “Practice.” They are Drake at his worst.
While he’s constantly praised Nicki Minaj over the years, Drake belittled the Grammy-nominated artist during his beef with her former boyfriend, Meek Mill — Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour? — implying that it’s emasculating for a man to receive second billing to his significant other.
As with stars of rock and country music, almost every successful rapper today, from Jay Z to Future to Chance the Rapper, has at some point performed lyrics that objectify or exploit women. J.Cole’s music has taken on more social justice elements over the years (Drake has spoken out for black causes as well). But Cole, in a 2013 song, called women “b—–s” —I got smart, I got rich, and I got b—–s still/And they all look like my eyebrows: thick as hell — and patriarchally dismisses female sexuality on 2014’s “No Role Modelz”:
My only regret was too young for Lisa Bonet, my only regret was too young for Nia Long/Now all I’m left with is hoes from reality shows, hand her a script the b—h probably couldn’t read along
Even so-called progressive rappers fall into this trap, namely the androgynous Young Thug and the genderfluid Young M.A.
Sometime between Drake’s early rise and his third mixtape being converted into 2009’s So Far Gone, the rapper known for singing about his romantic feelings and the pressure of newfound fame — with a flow that made every 16 bars sound like the hottest verse ever — became his own worst enemy. Drake, known for hits like 2009’s “Best I Ever Had” and 2010’s “Find Your Love,” became synonymous with quote-heavy memes on social media, and fake Twitter accounts such as @drakkardnoir pumped out fake deep quote after fake deep quote.
But the rapper’s verses about loving and being proud of college-educated, independent women — Sound so smart like you graduated college/Like you went to Yale but you probably went to Howard — paved the way for hypermasculine diatribes against the sexual agency of seemingly any woman he’s ever encountered. Through an examination of Drake’s four studio albums, plus mixtapes, collaborative projects and guest features, it is clear that the man who made music for folks who couldn’t get over their exes was himself struggling with the basic concept of “moving on.”
While So Far Gone doesn’t count as a studio album — it was his final mixtape before signing with Universal Republic — it gave listeners a sneak peek into the troublesome lyrics Drake would release in subsequent years. On the soothing track “Houstatlantavegas,” he raps about “saving” an exotic dancer from a strip club:
You go get f—– up and we just show up at your rescue/Carry you inside, get you some water and undress you.
I give you my all and the next morning you’ll forget who or why, or how, or when/Tonight is prolly ’bout to happen all over again.
Thank Me Later, Drake’s 2010 debut studio album, features the rapper slut-shaming women for having previous sexual partners. From “Karaoke” (I hope that you don’t get known for nothing crazy/Cause no man ever wants to hear those stories ’bout his lady) to “Miss Me” (Work somethin’, twerk something, basis/She just tryna make it so she’s right here getting naked. I don’t judge her, I don’t judge her/But I could never love her) to “Thank Me Now” (Alohas to women with no ties to men/That I know well, that way there are no lies), Drake positions women with previous sexual experience as undesirable. On the Rihanna-assisted “Take Care,” he seems to open up to the idea of women having sexual agency, relenting I’ve asked about you and they told me things/But my mind didn’t change and I still feel the same.
Thank Me Later was also at times a celebration of independent women – appreciating women’s “book smarts and street smarts” on “Shut it Down” and “Fancy” — but set the foundation for 2011’s Take Care, which was, at that point, the peak of Drake’s overt misogyny and objectification of women. On Take Care, which won Drake a Grammy for best rap album — he continues his focus on sex workers with “Lord Knows”:
To all these women that think like men with the same intentions
Talking strippers and models that try to gain attention.
Even a couple porn stars that I’m ashamed to mention.
“Under Ground Kings” (Sometimes I need that romance, sometimes I need that pole dance/Sometimes I need that stripper that’s gon’ tell me that she don’t dance) even creates a binary of acceptable and unacceptable behavior. While Drake has an infatuation with exotic dancers, he also makes it clear that admiration only goes as far as sex. “Trust Issues,” which Drake said he made for “fun” and thus didn’t include on the album, has Drake playing into the thoroughly debunked myth that women can’t want sex as much as men, rapping And it’s probably why I’m scared to put the time in/Women want to f— like they’re me and I’m them.
Those songs, though, pale in comparison to “Shot For Me,” “Marvin’s Room” and “Practice.” They are Drake at his worst, going beyond the behaviors of the paternalistic and disapproving ex. He goes from telling a woman she’s drinking away the pain she feels due to leaving him on “Shot For Me” — Yeah, I’m the reason why you always getting faded — to cursing out another for finding happiness with a new lover on “Marvin’s Room” (F— that n—-a that you love so bad).
Despite admitting that he’s a flawed individual in the latter song, in the former he tells the woman that he “made” her and calls her a “b—-.” This then leads to Drake’s most confusing and disturbing song to date, “Practice.” While acknowledging that women can have sex — the song is about a woman having multiple partners — Drake then spins it to his advantage: All those other men were practice, they were practice/Yeah, for me, for me, for me, for me. He senses “pain and regret” in the woman from her past, and then reluctantly accepts the fact that she has casual sex. He tops the song off with an uncomfortable, familial request: You can even call me daddy, give you someone to look up to.
But, Drake can still change. His lyrics paint the picture of a man who is constantly questioning himself.
It’s 2016’s “Hotline Bling” that ignited the re-examination of Drake’s entire catalog. The song is the rapper’s second-best-selling single of all time (behind fellow Views track “One Dance”), and won him two Grammys at last month’s award show. Not to mention, the visuals for the song will go down in music history as one of the most memorable music videos of all time.
But while the chorus is equal parts infectious and mesmerizing, Drake sneaks in two verses and a bridge full of “reductive stereotypes” and body-policing lyrics about an old fling. Whether about said woman “wearing less and goin’ out more” or “going places where you don’t belong,” Drake makes it apparent that he’s offended that she has the audacity to move on with her life. By the end of the song, Drake’s become so desperate that he’s even concerned that the woman is “bendin’ over backwards for someone else.” Textbook narcissism.
His guest appearances have been a mixed bag as well. On rapper The Game’s 2011 track “Good Girls Go Bad,” Drake raps Who’s still getting tested?/Where’s all the women that still remember who they slept with? and a year later added to 2 Chainz’s “No Lie”:
She could have a Grammy, I still treat her a– like a nominee
Just need to know what that p—- like
So one time is fine with me.
Over the past couple of years, Drake has put out two mixtapes, a solo effort If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and What A Time To Be Alive with Future. His male chauvinism can be found on tracks “Legend,” “Energy” and “Madonna” and repeatedly calls a woman “ungrateful” for living her life without him on “Diamonds Dancing.” As writer Tahirah Hairston pointed out, Drake has also had questionable lyrics on “Wu-Tang Forever,” “Own It,” “Furthest Thing,” “I’m The Plug” and even notable feminist Beyoncé’s “Mine.”
Back in October, Drake released three tracks from his upcoming More Life album — “Fake Love,” “Sneakin’,” and “Two Birds, One Stone.” Looking solely at those tracks, it appears Drake has let up a little on his control, instead rapping about success, fake friends and his long list of haters. Even his appearance on labelmate Nicki Minaj’s diss to Remy Ma, “No Frauds,” he steers clear of trying to preserve women’s sanctity.
For nearly a decade now, Drake has wrapped up his alarming lyrics inside catchy, Instagram-caption-worthy choruses and tunes. The “light-skinned Keith Sweat” gets away with this because he carefully crafted a “nice guy” persona that deflects the criticism that, say, a 21 Savage, Kodak Black or the Migos would receive.
For many men, Drake’s attitudes reflect their own attitudes and desires, which in turn reflect a patriarchal society that views women as sexual objects meant to be gazed at. For women, they’ve had to deal with sexism in the arts since the beginning of time, so choosing to not enjoy an artist because of his views on sexuality would mean giving up on music all together. And at the end of the day, Drake is just that good at his job, unquestionably the most influential and popular musician in the business right now.
But Drake can still change. His lyrics paint the picture of a man who is constantly questioning himself, consistently trying to become a better person, whatever that entails. From So Far Gone to More Life — age 22 to 30 — he’s learned all the lessons life can teach, from whom to trust to what forms of happiness money and fame can buy. But it seems he’s yet to learn that women aren’t sexual objects. They’re human beings. If the only women of the world were all exactly like the women he seems to respect — his mother or Rihanna or Aaliyah or Serena Williams — we’d call him Aubrey the Riveter. But, they aren’t the only women who deserve his respect.
He knows that. But it begs the question: Does he care?

15 BY BHAD BHABIE
Who knew a 15 year old could create such a cohesive debut mixtape? Her first project talks about what most rap mixtapes do, money and how she got to where she is today. The song ‘Hi Bich’ went certified Gold in the US and climbed to BBH100, similar success with the songs ‘Gucci Flip Flops’ and ‘Trust Me’. This mixtape showed everyone that her career is not a joke, she is new to the game, and she going to be the game for years to come. Her careers isn’t flopping at all she has a Snapchat show ‘Bringing Up Bhabie’ that hit 10 Million on it’s premere and is currently on tour. Her high anticapated debut album is also releasing soon in 2020. Whether, it’s good or bad everybody is talking about Bhad Bhabie.
TRACK BY TRACK BREAKDOWN:
1. 15
the introduction starts of with a slow beat, then it picks up and Danielle starts rapping about herself using the number ‘15’. It talks about her making history, living the dream at such a young age.
2. Juice
could of been a single, with it’s catchy chorus it would make anyone dance crazily. The verse by JG, is basic and pretty boring, but when the chrous starts it picks up again.
3. Gucci Flip Flops
is one of her more known song, (having a version with Lil. Yachty and another with Snoop Dog) it’s fast raps and basic, but memorable chrous helped the song be so popular. The Music video shows the difference between 60’s and 00’s and how different life is compared to now. Years ago, she wouldn’t have a career.
4. Affilated
is my favourite track simply because it has Asian Doll in it, and Bhad Bhabie put together. Both of them collaborated together both on the ‘Hi Bich (remix)’. GIRL POWER!
5. Geek’d
is highly liked by fans because of how Bhad Bhabie raps, she does it amazingly but makes it look easy, it’s not. The beats on this mixtape are on pain.
6. No More Love
to me is about loosing somebody, loosing a relashionship, it can be with anybody. The song is touching and shows a different side to Danielle.
7. Thot Opps (Clout Drop)
was the first single from the ‘15’ era (along with Bout That) the songs are very similar in the sense that they are both about hating ‘hoes’.
8. Yung and Bhad
Danielle just loves spoiling us with all the female collaborations, first Asian Doll, now City Girls. She is branching out who’s next? Nicki Minaj? Cardi B? Anyway— The song is about being young and bad, (thats why it’s called Yung and Bhad). Nothing special.
9. Count It
the first rapping and amazingly produced chrous makes it high on my list, My favourite Danielle is fast Danielle. She is always switching up her styles. What next? Singing. Yes.
10. Famous
has Danielle singing (WHAT?!) who knew she could sing? well her notes are beautful and adds true emotion into the song and she also flips it round and goes ‘Hey i can rap as well’.
11. Hi Bich
ohhhhh- the iconic song that hit 100 million views on Youtube! her second song she released (after ‘These Heuxs’) this song is so iconic I hear people sing it around school, it the song that everybody has heard, it showed people that she is her to stay.
12. Shhh
is once again! a simple song, but I guess I shouldn’t be suprised, thats her specialty. Even though it is simple, it is catchy and will get stuck in your head the rest of the day, WARNING!
13. Trust Me
this is the song that ended her Pre-15 era and is the first time we hear her sing. The music video was highly talked about in the public, since it spreaded awareness for pedophilia and talking to people online.
14. Bout That
released with ‘Thot Opps’ this song was trending on youtube and is known for it’s sassy, nasty lyrics, but thats what makes to great. Best lyrics are “came out with no earrings on” implying she had a fight.
15. Bhad Bhabie Story
is when Bhad Bhabie really showed people that she has a story, she’s not just the girl from Dr.Phil, the troublesome rapper, a joke. She isn’t any of those things and she proved it with this song.
Song Ranking:
Affilated 10/10 Count it 10/10 Hi Bich 9/10 Bout That 8/10 Bhad Bhabie Story 8/10 15 7/10 Gucci Flip Flops 7/10 Geek’d 7/10 Famous 6/10 Trust Me 6/10 Juice 5/10 No More Love 5/10 Thot Opps 4/10 Yung and Bhad 4/10 Shhhh 4/10
Overall:
Overall, this mixtape was pretty good but I probably wouldn’t have it on repeat as much as ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ (the last review I did) this is more cohesive and sounded similar to every other rapper, Hopefully she changes that and finds her sound.
I loved the introduction and I would probably listen to that, Juice and Count It sometimes, but rarely all together. A pretty average mixtape, lets see what she for store in her debut album this year.

13 Coachella Acts You Should See Other Than Beyoncé, The Weeknd and Eminem
Coachella 2018 is finally here!
Music lovers will be swarming to Indio, California, over the next two weekends to catch Beyoncé, The Weeknd and Eminem's highly anticipated headlining sets. And while their shows will surely be amazing, there's plenty of other bands and artists on the list that are also worth checking out.
So, whether you're heading to the desert to watch the star-studded lineup in person, or plan to live-stream the music festival at home, ET's got you covered. Here are 13 acts (aside from the biggest names) that we think you should rock out to and why!
CARDI B / MIGOS
youtube
Who they are: Though these two acts are performing separately, we have a good feeling we'll get a Coachella crossover! Cardi B (real name: Belcalis Almanzar) is a rapper from the Bronx borough of New York City, who first gained attention on Instagram and Vine for her "no filter" videos, later appearing on Love & Hip Hop: New York before her rap career took off in 2017. Migos is a hip-hop trio from Lawrenceville, Georgia, who formed together in 2009. The group is made up of rappers Quavo, Takeoff and Offset, who is engaged to Cardi B.
Why you should see their sets: For months, fans have been speculating that Cardi B was pregnant with her and Offset's first child, and she finally confirmed it last weekend by debuting her baby bump on Saturday Night Live. Aside from getting a peek at her burgeoning belly, expect a fire show from the 25-year-old singer, as she just dropped her no-holds-barred debut album, Invasion of Privacy, earlier this month. We're expecting Migos' set to be equally lit, with fans dancing along to their most popular tracks, like "Versace," "Stir Fry" and "Bad and Boujee."
Songs to listen to: If you're just getting introduced to Cardi B, check out "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi," two of the first tracks that made her a household name. Also be sure to listen to "Thru Your Phone" and "I Do" off her new album, as well as "MotorSport" and Drip," which she and Migos collaborated on and will most likely perform together during Coachella.
Potential surprise guests: While there's no guarantee who will show up during Cardi B and Migos' Sunday sets, we'd personally love to see Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, Chance the Rapper, DJ Khaled or Justin Bieber, who have all recorded tracks with the rappers over the past few years.
SZA
youtube
Who she is: One of the hottest names in R&B and hip-hop at the moment, SZA, aka Solána Imani Rowe, has been making music since 2012, but came on the scene in a major way last year, with her breakthrough album, Ctrl. She's since been unstoppable, with appearances on the Black Panther soundtrack and Cardi B's debut album.
Why you should check out her set: Apart from the singalong hits, SZA's unique, soulful voice and minimalist, chillwave-inspired beats is the perfect way to round out your Friday night in the desert.
Songs to listen to: "Love Galore," "Drew Barrymore" and "All the Stars" will make you instantly fall in love with the 27-year-old singer.
Potential special guests: SZA has collaborated with everyone from Calvin Harris to Travis Scott to Maroon 5, but two of the biggest names that could turn up on her Coachella stage are Kendrick Lamar, to perform their Black Panther single, "All the Stars," and Cardi B, for their newly released Invasion of Privacy duet, "I Do."
 BLEACHERS
youtube
Who they are: After successful runs in Steel Train and Fun., in-demand pop producer Jack Antonoff launched his new solo venture, Bleachers, in 2014. If a John Hughes movie were an album, it would sound like Bleachers’ debut, Strange Desire, and it only got better from there.
Why you should check out their set: With the Coachella lineup leaning heavy on hip-hop this year, the Bleachers' set should be a perfect opportunity for a fun, poppy dance break.
Songs to listen to: If you're checking out Bleachers for the first time, definitely take a listen to "Don't Take the Money," "I Wanna Get Better" and "I Miss Those Days" before their performance kicks off.
Potential special guests: It's always a safe bet to guess Lorde might turn up at a Bleachers show (or vice versa -- the two are close friends!), but if we're going for a long shot, maybe Taylor Swift could show up to perform one of her Antonoff-produced hits? Hey, a festivalgoer can dream!
ST. VINCENT
youtube
Who she is: One of the most exciting acts in indie rock, who has been putting in work for over a decade, St. Vincent (real name: Annie Clark) spent her formative years as an artist in Sufjan Stevens' touring band, breaking out on her own in 2006. All of her five solo albums have been critically acclaimed, including her most recent, 2017’s Masseduction.
Why you should see her set: Expect an exciting set from the multi-instrumentalist, who, for fans of impressive guitar work, has also been known to shred. Her sets, not unlike her songs, tend to build in energy, from a simple beat to a full-on sonic explosion, meaning this one will likely reward those who commit for the whole concert.
Songs to listen to: "Cruel," off of 2011's Strange Mercy is a classic, but also check out her Masseduction singles, like "Los Ageless" and "New York," to get familiar with her newer work.
Potential surprise guests: Sufjan is an obvious possibility, as well as David Byrne. Not only is he on the lineup himself, but he released a collaborative album with St. Vincent back in 2012.
 ALISON WONDERLAND
youtube
Who she is: Alexandra Sholler, best known by her punny stage name of Alison Wonderland, is an Australian EDM DJ, producer and singer. Before hitting the scene with her debut album, Run, in 2015, Alison played bass guitar in a few local indie rock bands, and was a classically trained cellist who performed with the Sydney Youth Opera (you can hear her cello skills on songs like "Good Enough" and "Space.")
Why you should see her set: Between her edgy style, raw vocals, insanely catchy remixes, quirky dancing and the fact that she's the highest-billed female DJ in the history of Coachella, this set is going to be rad! Plus, the 31-year-old just released her sophomore album, Awake, over the weekend, and in less than two days, it already garnered two million streams on Spotify.
Songs to listen to: If her remix of Dua Lipa's "New Rules" doesn't sell you, "Happy Place" and "Easy" will definitely send you down a magical Alison Wonderland rabbit hole.
Potential surprise guests: While she is truly entertaining enough on her own, we wouldn't be surprised if she invited one of her Awake collaborators, like BLESSUS, Trippie Redd or Buddy, to the stage.
MIGUEL
youtube
Who he is: Born Miguel Jontel Pimentel, the soulful singer and songwriter first cast his spell on the music scene with his R&B love song, "Adorn," for which he won his first GRAMMY in 2013. He most recently released his third full-length album, War & Leisure, and his vocals were featured on Disney's Coco soundtrack. He performed the film's Oscar-winning song, "Remember Me (Dúo)," at this year's Academy Awards.
Why you should see his set: Fresh off his sexy War & Leisure tour, Coachella is the perfect setting for this Los Angeles native's sultry voice and effortless cool vibes. But don't let his falsetto, hip-thrusting, baby-making music fool you -- Miguel knows how to throw a party onstage!
Songs to listen to: "Sky Walker," "Pineapple Skies" and "I Told You So" are just a few jams that will get you jiving with the 32-year-old singer.
Potential special guests: Miguel's solo records speak for themselves, but it's his features and collaborations that showcase just how versatile his voice is. He's appeared on Janelle Monae's "Primetime," Dua Lipa's "Lost in Your Light," and most recently, Kygo's "Remind Me to Forget." And with the latter also on the Coachella lineup this year, expect the two to share the stage at some point this weekend.
 FIRST AID KIT
youtube
Who they are: A Swedish folk duo consisting of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg, who, like many modern-day breakouts, gained notoriety with a viral YouTube cover of Fleet Foxes' "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song." In the near decade since that video was released, First Aid Kid has boasted an international following and put out three studio albums, including their latest, Ruins, earlier this year.
Why you should see their set: In some ways, the Söderberg sisters evoke Simon & Garfunkel with their transfixing harmonies, lending itself to singing along, swaying about in the crowd or even hanging back and taking in the melodies while lying in the grass. First Aid Kit is a must-see for any listeners who really go for harmonization, as well as rich, layered folk instrumentation.
Songs to listen to: "My Silver Lining" is their most popular song, and also a great representation of what they do as a duo. Also consider "It’s a Shame" and "Fireworks," both off their newest album, to determine if this act is one to add to your Coachella schedule.
Potential surprise guests: This is a tough one, because the draw of Klara and Johanna is, well, Klara and Johanna! That said, Fleet Foxes will also be at the festival, the band First Aid Kit paid tribute to in the aforementioned viral cover. If they welcome them onstage, or vice versa, it would definitely be an appearance we’d be lucky to see.
 MØ
youtube
Who she is: MØ is a Danish singer, songwriter and electropop producer. In 2015, she co-wrote Major Lazer and DJ Snake's massive hit, "Lean On," which, at the time, exploded to be Spotify’s most-streamed song ever (it has since been overtaken by Drake's "One Dance").
Why you should see her set: She's been compared to other electropop powerhouses, like Grimes and Twin Shadow, and has amassed a huge following, thanks in part to some amazing features and collaborations. MØ, surprised the crowd at last year's Coachella during Major Lazer's set, but this year, the 29-year-old is ready to take center stage all on her own. Plus, she has some sweet dance moves.
Songs to listen to: "When I Was Young," "Don't Leave" and "Final Song" are solid tracks that will turn you into a MØ fan in no time.
Potential special guests: Over the last three years, MØ has been the go-to pop singer for hits like "Don’t Leave" with Snakehips and "Porsche" with Charli XCX, so either artist could easily join her onstage, especially since the former is also on the Coachella bill. We also wouldn't be surprised if her frequent collaborator, Diplo, made a special appearance during her set.
GRETA VAN FLEET
youtube
Who they are: Made up of brothers Josh, Jake and Sam Kiszka, with their friend, Danny Wagner, Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band that hails from Frankenmuth, Michigan. They formed the group in 2012, but they easily could have fit in with the classic rock bands of the '70s.
Why you should see them: If you need a break from all the hip-hop, R&B and electronic dance music, do yourself a favor and get familiar with these rising rock stars, whose sound is heavily influenced by the work of Led Zeppelin. (Seriously, if you close your eyes while listening to their music for the first time, you would think it was Robert Plant on vocals -- that would be Josh). Their throwback, blues-rock vibe is a refreshing set for Coachella attendees looking to just chill out for a bit on Friday, while discovering an awesome band that's inventing old-school rock.
Songs to listen to: "Highway Tune" was the quartet's debut single, and the first one they ever wrote and recorded together. It hit No. 1 on mainstream rock radio, and was even featured on the Showtime show Shameless. If you're digging that track, definitely also check out "Safari Song" and "Flower Power" from their eight-song EP, From the Fires.
Potential surprise guests: In an interview with Billboard last August, Josh said that while they still "prefer all of the old stuff," there are a few bands and artists from this era that they dig -- Fleet Foxes and Vance Joy, who are both on this year's lineup. Although Greta Van Fleet hasn't officially collaborated on any tracks with either of these acts, we'd love to see them rock out together at the festival.
KALI UCHIS
youtube
Who she is: Kali Uchis is a neo-soul, R&B singer who hails from Pereira, Colombia, and just released a severely dope debut album, Isolation.
Why you should see her set: What the 24-year-old singer brings as an artist is an ability to be simultaneously free-associative in her singing and unbelievably catchy. Plus, her songs are set to up-tempo beats that evoke a mix of a little hip-hop and indie pop. So, whether you're ready to low-key jam out or just need to chill out for a bit, she's a great artist to watch. Coachella hasn’t dropped the full set times just yet, but she seems like a perfect fit for sunset at the Outdoor Stage or a dreamy set in one of the tents.
Songs to listen to: Familiarize yourself with Kali Uchis by listening to "Tyrant," "After the Storm" and "In My Dreams" off her new album, and "Loner" for a good throwback track.
Potential surprise guests: Tyler, the Creator is all but guaranteed, as he has produced for Uchis frequently, and is featured on "After the Storm." Other likely acts include Jorja Smith, Daniel Caesar and Vince Staples. Additionally, it would be a long shot, but she did collaborate with Snoop Dogg early in her career. He’s all booked up during weekend two of the festival, but the iconic rapper would certainly be a treat for weekend one attendees.
 DANIEL CAESAR
youtube
Who he is: Canadian singer-songwriter Ashton Simmonds, better known as Daniel Caesar, is one of the fresh names to know in the world of R&B. His debut EP, Praise Break, was critically acclaimed, but it was his breakthrough 2016 single, "Get You," and follow-up album, Freudian, that catapulted him onto the big stage.
Why you should check out his set: A nice, low-key lull in the hectic first day of the festival, Caesar’s swooning guitar and bluesy vocals will be perfect for a sunset set in the desert.
Songs to listen to: Do yourself a favor and press play on "Get You," "We Find Love" and "Best Part." You're welcome.
Potential special guests: It wouldn't be a surprise to see fellow Coachella performer Kali Uchis show up on Caesar's stage, thanks to their "Get You" collab. If we're taking a shot in the dark, though, maybe Chance the Rapper shows up to perform "First World Problems," the track the pair debuted on The Late Show last fall. It's Coachella, after all. Anything can happen!
TANK AND THE BANGAS
youtube
Who they are: Tank and the Bangas are a funk/soul outfit from New Orleans, founded and fronted by slam poet Tarriona "Tank" Ball, who surrounded herself with talented musicians in order to craft a sound unlike any other. The group formed in 2011, and gained widespread recognition last year after winning NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest.
Why you should check out their set: If the music doesn't get you, Ball's powerful words will. Watching the group's Tiny Desk performance will have any viewer eager to see them on a much larger stage, and their Friday set should be the perfect opportunity to get you into the Coachella groove.
Songs you need to check out: While we love them all, "Quick," "Rollercoasters" and "Oh Heart" are a few of our favorites.
Potential special guests: None. Tank and her crew will be more than enough entertainment!
For more Coachella news, keep it locked right here on ETonline, as we'll be heading to the desert this weekend to bring you all the best music moments from the highly anticipated festival! Also join us live on Facebook and YouTube on Thursday at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT for a special Coachella version of Daily Denny. We'll be breaking down even more artists to watch, so stay tuned!

Desperation, fraud, and perjury. The deception of the internet by a felon...
Tumblr media
This is a thread of your 'acclaimed' "Queen of Rap"; Reminisce Smith (Remy Ma) the BIGGEST FRAUD in history. This will be full or facts, receipts and clapbacks to anyone who thinks they can 1-Up Nicki Minaj because we saw what happened to Kimberly’s career.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What we call this here, ladies is “Onikavoodoo” because that’s what happens when you go against the Queen.
Who God bless, no man can curse.
Nickisus Proverbs 12:17
“When you went aginst Nicki, you depleted your wealth” / “Go against Nicki, it’s gon’ cost ya.”
Anyway, before you comment with negativity about whatever you feel is needed about why this thread has surfaced or how hard I'm going for Nicki Minaj, because I am and it doen’t matter, y'all don't know the half and probably don't care about the facts but quick to assume it's true. Whoever it is that tries to tear down what Minaj has built for herself over the years and make it possible for the other girls to come up or back (even if it’s to attack her) be HUMBLE. Don’t forget she put female rap back on the map. Just admit you don't like her but don't bandwagon to the next bitch that "tries" to end Minaj's reign. I will also be discrediting the accusations appointed to Nicki Minaj; rumorous tabloids and ill banter. Alas, let us begin. Get you some snacks and be prepared for this scolding hot tea, girlies.
youtube
As we all know and love, Nicki Minaj is the most successful and highest selling female rapper of all time. With this success, it brings out the most spiteful and jealousy of a person so of course, these girls try to tear her down but unlike Nicki, what she built is from her own success and hard work ethic. She didn't have to tear another female down in order to aspire or become recognized. The CEO; multi-platinum album(s) and record(s) selling vixen, singer, music writer, producer, entertainer, actress, award winning, Billboard ranking, Aretha Franklin record successor, brander, mogul, now signed model, fragrance and liquor owner, and empire BUSINESSWOMAN has done so much in her reigning time than all female rappers COMBINED AND THEN SOME (excluding Latifah because she was the first to step outside of Rap and still make money). So, what we won't sit here today and do is tear down and undermine this black woman's success and legacy of her brand. Another thing these girls can take from Minaj, gracefully, other than biting her flow and style, is.....ready? Now say it with me girls; ‘LONGEVITY’ which is why these bitches are only hot for one summer.
Tumblr media
Some more facts about Miss Minaj not paying homage to others before she is false because she always had and applauded and spoke highly of those before her even in all her interviews coming up but unlike Minaj, her elders did not lend a hand and embrace her as she did for these upcoming female rappers. Nicki and Remy both fucked with each other and Nicki been saying "free Remy" since her sentence, so let's not act like my bitch doesn't like these girls before they flew out the window.
Also, the dead rumors about Safaree ghostwrites for Nicki is trash. We both know he can't spit on his own so how y’all get that? Plus, we had 7Up do an interview defending and ending accusations about Nicki having a ghostwriter, she been writing since she first started and in their Rap group; The Hood$tars. Safaree (who was once apart of the group) never wrote and had his raps done for him by 7Up. Proof that Safaree wrote to 7Up when 7Up did his bid and asked for 16′s to start him up again because he felt some type of way being behind her “Hype Man” fuck outta here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After a 12 plus year relationship, Safreeload hit Nicki with a lawsuit in November of 2014 for unpaid royalties after their breakup. Nicki responds to social media as to Safaree for him going to the media about it. Clapback, girl. 👏
Tumblr media
What the FUCK you mean “unpaid loyalties”? BOY IF YOU DON’T... We know damn well that you never had to pay for a thing, everything was given to you. You should be humbled and accept that you lost the best you ever had because like most men aren’t faithful and how you let Nicki Minaj go? Mind boggling.
We won’t even discuss Weak Mill on here because all the L’s he been taking after thier breakup is just odee. Another dumbass who let the baddest walk away smh. BUT WE’RE GLAD, moocher.
Moving along..
Nicki had Dej Loaf who is a female rapper headline for her Tour and even reached out to Young m.a.; Remixed a song of hers and gave her a shoutout during her performance and Remix. UNITY is what she spoke of but not everyone can see the bigger picture....and one, in particular, speaks of Unity but has done the complete opposite since the beginning.
Tumblr media
Let's take it back to early 2016 when Remy decided to take it upon herself to remix other artists songs (when no one asked) and multiple have been of Nicki's and took jabs but before we head there with the song and few sleezy bars from the girl, let's rewind to 2014 (Reminisce has been out of jail for almost three years now), early-September to be exact. Nicki Minaj actually reached out and called Remy in excitement for her homecoming and even asked her to jump on a song with her and Foxy that would have been on Nicki's third studio album “The Pinkprint”. Remy Ma declined; can't promise it’s verbatim but that she could not work with someone she despised and can't move past the fact that she (Remy) and Foxy beefed. There was no repair for that. After that, Remy felt some type of way and kept her distance. Back to the Remix of Nicki's "Truffle Butter" Remy raps

This was the first and wouldn't be the last jab taken towards Minaj. Who else was she referring to? It couldn't be poor Iggy. That girl hasn't done anything to anyone and besides Nicki, was the only one making music and SELLING (for the people in the back saying she couldn't be talking about Nicki Minaj).
http://ytcropper.com/cropped/NQ595963418395c
Hmmmmm, really? Because she sounds mad corny in that interview right now. She double backed because she knows people caught on to her snubbing her so she’s tryna make an excuse for herself probably from Pap or Joe. She’s not ready for this storm that’s about to arrive.
As generous as the Queen is, took a blind eye to the shade. Heading to the 2016 BET Awards, Nicki takes home her SEVENTH AWARD IN A ROW and Remy congratulates her and Nicki responded with gratitude (because Onika is not this evil bitch with power that these people are out to make her be).

Following to the BET Hip-Hop Awards, yet again another subliminal was taken towards the businesswoman with a "Cypher Freestyle"

“This can't be shots towards Nicki. You're reaching. You wanna make everything about Nicki. She ain't innocent! She started it!”   Said the angry people in the comments below this thread. You're absolutely right...about being wrong.
Earlier that year (2014) Terrance which was Nicki's formal hairstylist was dropped from her crew and even hit Nicki with a $30 million lawsuit saying that Nicki was ungrateful; he was underpaid, and kept his wigs (when they were given to her) and started her own wig line with his designs. Low and behold Terrance is now doing wigs and hair for Remy and did her hair for the Hip-Hop Awards 2016 which that subliminal was made.
Tumblr media
To the fraudulent events that are about to unfold, hold on to your wigs.
Tumblr media
“Say ‘cheese’ if Nicki Minaj tried to stop your bag.”
Starter kit.
All the cornballs and nondescripts in one photo. Smells like attention, musty and poor to me.
Remember earlier when Remy Ma said she couldn't move past the beef with Foxy Brown, which is why the collaboration never happened? Well, get this! For their joint alBUM Fat Joe and Remy make peace for “Plato O Plomo” (which barley sold $20K first two months and still struggling) and release their first single "All The Way Up".
Tumblr media
But before we get into that song let's reeeeeewind *Missy voice* to 2010 when Remy took shots towards Fat Joe with "Fat Liar" and Lil' Kim with "Dat Thing" 2009. “What? Remy and Kim beefed?” Oh yeah, we'll get to that in a minute. Fat Joe.... the same dude that said Remy ain't got talent and that Nicki Minaj is better than her and will continue to reign as the Queen of Hip-Hop/Rap is the same Fat Joe who's making a joint album with lmao.
http://ytcropper.com/cropped/p159596cb918767
http://ytcropper.com/cropped/p159596d7599f36
The same girl who said she'd kill him if she caught him in the streets. Damn man, talk about not being able to move 'passed the beef'. Back to the single "All The Way Up" Remy raps:
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ
“All The Way Up”
“Wanted to be an icon / Ended up like Akon.”
[She also referenced Nicki's catchphrase:]
“All this talk about my son and your son / I’m hot and your whole world revolve around me — bitch, I am the sun.”
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ
Tumblr media
*Crickets* Whoa, where did all of this jealousy and anger manifest from? Crazy to think that Nicki Minaj started all of this, sheesh, was I blind. This subliminal isn't even a subliminal anymore. We've heard and seen the shade and the world knows who she is talking about. That's when Nicki decides to fire back. What you expect her to do? Take it like a bitch? NAH. Thus "Don't Hurt Me" was released with DJ Mustard and Jeremih. Nicki spits playfully on the first verse and comes together flawlessly on the second verse
“Don't Hurt Me”
“All these bitches beggin' me to pass the baton / All these bitches tryna fit my crown and my wand / Bitches still my sons, get your sonogram on.”
Tumblr media
A month later with their second single, "Cookin" Remy states that Nicki is hating and to fall back in line because everyone is jealous of her, said no one, ever.
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ

As she roughly rhymes.
Alas, Onika drops that fire ass song "Black Barbies" which the beat was given to her by Rae Sremmurd who headlined for her Pinkprint Tour back in 2015. Nicki clapsback with the whole song and her verses. She's letting her know that she's not the one.
“Black Barbies”
“Who the fuck is gon' protect her if I really gotta check her?”
[Along with:]
“She said she got a hit record, I said, ‘Ooh shit!’ / Picked up my phone ’cause I had to call ‘Bullshit!' / These bitches havin’ nightmares of my new shit / These bitches pussy and they don’t ever do shit.”
Tumblr media
Again with the entendre's and Minaj actually, speaks it out to the listeners "do shit" / "douche it". The hit record she refers to "All The Way Up" because multiple artists are on the track and she's acting like she made the song when clearly, she didn't. 😉
Two more subliminal verses of 2016 Remy responds with the fourth single off the joint album with Fat Liar "Money Showers" and she states:
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ

The platinum artist responds with her hardcore and metaphoric on take of Young m.a.'s "Ooouuu" with "The Pinkprint (Freestyle)" as you tune into the second verse with witty wordplay she drops;
“The Pinkprint (Freestyle)”
“Fuck outta here you dumb bitch / You know I'm pretty, and I'm witty, and I'm dumb rich / You throw shade, but I sun bitch/ And now you know what I'mma say, "you my son, bitch!”
Tumblr media
And also with the Remix of "Wait A Minute" Remy responds with;
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ
“Wait A Minute”
“Will I smoke this bitch? Yes / Probably fail my piss test / Get rid of those fake breasts / And put a vest on this bitch chest.”
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ
The jealousy and hatred just keeps growing and adding on to the big back she already has. The Hunchback of Notre Bronx thinks she on to something and untouchable but Nicki eats rappers. Nicki ends the year with a response that are full of entendre's and clever punchlines with the song "Like A Star" with Fetty Wap. I had to include a chunk because it's so clever and genius and I'll break it down for the 'real Hip-Hop' heads who can't keep up with her lyricism.
“Like A Star”
“Who better than Nicki? Man, I can't eff'in' tell / Every time I drop, bitches like, "FML" / Haha, you in the game? I own my own game / I only respect them hoes that own they own plane / Young Griselda, slicin' up / I ain't got no competition so my price is up / I'm the heavyweight champ, Mike Tyson'd up and I used to be a bitch, but I nicen'ed up.”
Tumblr media
SOOO clever. Did you guys catch it? Well, here we go just in case you didn't.
“Who better than Nicki.......Every time I drop, bitches like FML”
She states no one is better than herself (Nicki) because let's be honest, which female rapper accomplished and made more for herself other than just doing rap? Every time she drops music, these bitches are SHOOK.
“You in the game? I own my own game......own plane”
You in the rap game? We ain't tell and you haven't been sellin'. Oh, Nicki Minaj has her own mobile game, yet again branding and making more for herself. She only respects those who have their own transportation thru the sky rather than those who use their label mates transport (Fat Joe) to get to point A & B.

My favorite line yet!
👇👇👇
“Young Griselda, slicin' up......Mike Tyson'd.......Nicen'ed up.”
WHEW! 🔥🔥🔥 What Minaj is rapping about here is that she is Griselda; which I might add is a double entendre, and if none of you kept up in History class, she was a notorious drug dealer and only female head honcho of her time. She was ruthless and didn't do her own slicing as in she had other people do it for her both in cocaine and heads. She was known to dismember her competition or people she didn't like in general. Nicki basically has no competition, just like Griselda Blanco, so her price is up, killin' the game and bitches. The consumers want more! And she can charge to her desire. Mike Tyson is legendary and is an undisputed heavyweight champ like Nicki; started young in their careers and accomplished so much and continue to reign. She nicen'ed up but if provoked the beast will awaken. 😉 & Nicki still playin’ in your face.
Tumblr media
Towards the end of February, the actress releases two tracks with Jason Derulo and Ty Dolla Sign "Swalla" and Gucci Mane with "Make Love" and takes direct shots. Miss Minaj warned not to be fucked with and on the track with Gucci she has lots to say.
“Swalla”
“I gave these bitches two years now ya times up / Bless her heart she throwin' shots but every line sucks.”
Clearly, we’ve been knowing Remy throwing shots all of 2016 and hasn't phased her. Also, you've been out for two years, where's your comeback?
Tumblr media
“Make Love”
“Bitch, I'm the Greatest, no Kendrick and no Sia / I'm the iPhone, you the Nokia / Everybody know you jealous, bitch, it's so clear.”
Sia “I’m The Greatest” featuring Kendrick Lamar
Tumblr media
DOUBLE ENTENDRE
So many great punchlines and double entendres and jabs, this song is great. This is just a small gist of the song itself. Probably one of Nicki's top diss records to this date.
Tumblr media
And as we know it, Rent Man drops her own diss track "Shether" and the hype around it was all too fake. Nobody cared for Remy but the only reason it got notoriety was that people hate Nicki and the beef was about Nicki. That's the only way these washed up artist get notoriety. Remy didn't clear this record with Nas since it was his beat and soon got pulled off from getting airplay, being performed and music stores for purchase, and whatever did sell went to Nas' record label as compensation. So at the end of the day, who won?
Tumblr media
Onikavoodoo strikes again.
Tumblr media
The adaptation of the record has been snatched from practically all commercial distribution, including radio-play, and live performance.
Tumblr media
The hype was all too real for Remy and they really gassed her into thinking that she was doing something and dropped her second diss right after from not getting a quick response from Nicki Minaj, "Another One". I won't be including any breakdowns because the hype behind the tabloid rumors and fake accusations shouldn't get notoriety but with the internet and uneducated people about the whole situation will believe anything. It's sad to say. After Minaj not responding for a week or so due to running her businesses and attending A-List fashion shows in Paris, it's not like she can place her life on hold for one miserable bitch, like who would? Nicki bounces back with three release tracks and two of them aimed towards Renty "No Frauds" with Drake and Lil Wayne and "Changed It" with Lil Wayne and before we get into topic about this and break down the details.... "No Frauds" is a HIT! Whether you'd like to believe it or not and Nicki was damn smart about having her label mates on the track to boost ratings and get mad airplay (since Remy can’t) and recognition (not that Nicki couldn't do it all on her own like people make it seem) but Nicki is fucking smart! She will make sure you feel every punchline and diss you on hit records where you're bound to hear them wherever you are. A lot of people say that Nicki needed help from Drake and Wayne to diss Remy but they don't mention anything about her so I'm confused? These new kids probably don't know much about Rap and Rap beef because no one said anything when Dr. Dre released "The Chronic" or when Ice Cube made "No Vaseline" or when all these great beef moments had another artist on them! Like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice, Dre, Nas, JAY, Eazy-E, etc. need I go on? Most of these rappers diss contained another artist on the track or even their crew to hype it. Like y'all sound so stupid when it comes to Nicki Minaj. Y'all have these double standards that are unrealistic and only apply to her but when she meets the unrealistic standards it’s always something else and tries to discredit her. So why is that? Is it because y'all secretly hold her to a higher standard? Speak up! It does NOT make you a bitch when you listen to great music by a female artist. Grow up. And to those who are mad at the fact, Nicki didn't respond on YOUR TIME... it doesn't work that way. The Queen responds on her own time and you know damn fucking well (to the people in the back) that Nas took NINE FUCKING MONTHS to respond to JAY. NINE!!! So what the fuck is all this noise? Is this a standard y'all hold her to that I mentioned earlier? Moving on...
Tumblr media
“No Frauds”
“You can't be Pablo is your work ain't sellin' / What the fuck is this bitch inhalin'? / I would've helped you out that pit you fell in / I am da Generous Queen, ask Miss Ellen / Tried to drop "Another One" you was itchin' to scrap / You exposed your ghostwriter now you wish it was scrapped.”
So many great punchlines, double entendres, flow, and wordplay. So let's get it because y'all only hear a radio song but that's one of the points. Get airplay, hurt you, and make money.
“You can't be Pablo......inhalin'”
This bar is great because Pablo is not Kanye West and most people get it wrong when they hear it. Another history class mention; Pablo Escobar (The Cocaine King) is a drug lord and infamous for his reign. Also is the one who came up with the name/term Plato Plomo (mind you is the joint alBUM I mentioned earlier lol). You can't be selling because their joint album didn't even hit 20K two months after its release. So you can't be who you claim to be. And inhaling because Pablo was a cocaine distributor so yeah, wordplay!
“I would of helped you out that pit......Ellen!”
Ah, I love double entendres. "Fell in" / "Felon". Geddit now? Nicki would have helped you felon and bring your career back if you befriended her. The only reason she went to jail was because she shot her best friend over two racks equivalent to $2K. 😂 "Da" / "The" / "Da "Generous" / "Degenrous" as in Ellen's last name.
“Tried to drop "Another One" you was itchin' to scrap.....”
Like Remy really tried to pull a Drake. She thought she could put out two songs like Drake did to Meek and obliterated him but it backfired, big time. Because the two songs Remy put out are completely different from one another and you know that she couldn't have written “Shether”, obviously with the help of Papoose. She didn't even know her own lyrics the day off dropping her diss record lmao. That's how you know she ain't write it. This is all too funny, especially when Nic comes with the receipts. She raps about FACTS and not LIES. Let it soak in.
Another thing that was mentioned in “No Frauds” is that Nicki has before and after pictures of ya surgery (Remy) so let’s stop the plastic and body shaming especially when you had body work done too but you just got botched. A lot of celebs get done work and look fucking fantastic and half of y’all beat your dicks to them so stop acting like it’s an insult because it’s not. Lookin’ like NAH lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Changed It"
"No nigga you can't bone it ain't no Lisa here. She gon' dread dissin' Nicki like Lisa hair. I buy lil nigga ain't no lesser here. The bitch gambled her career now it's gon' be severe."
A moment of silence for Nicki's coldest verse to date! This song is truly about all the things from punchlines, wordplay, entendre's, flow, barz and lyricism all in one go.
The double meaning to the song is bone it / Bonet as in Lisa Bonet who got tons of backlash for having dreads and the way she wore her hair as in dread/regret dissing Nicki like they did with Lisa's hair. Wow. This bar flew over a lot of people heads. Nicki is smart!
Tumblr media
Just hit records back to back being dropped by the mogul. Nicki really playing with the poor girl. This is why we don't put out everything into one song because what else do you have to rap about or fire back with? Dumb bitches never learn. Nicki and David Guetta drop a fire record "Light My Body Up" featuring Lil Wayne. Such a great record and a few jabs then show off her more progressed vocals which can be another jab at these testosterone females who can't do that either. Eat ya heart out.
Another one. 😜
From the DNCE hit “Kissing Strangers” has a beachy vibe essence and with a playful gummy verse from the very versatile Minajesty herself, who doesn't disappoint with a few jabs like Mayweather she takes it back to her song “Don’t Hurt Me” which is a reminder to the listener and the one she’s referring to.
“Kissing Strangers”
“I gotta lotta sons, I can show you all the sonograms /Me? I’m Jem, and these bitches is the holograms / Me? I win and these bitches just lose / They ships sink, but my ship is just cruise.”
This is a real witty and playful verse but don’t let her fool you. Nicki can pack a punch; as I break it down to you, take mental notes.
“I gotta lotta sons, I can show you all the sonograms”
This is to point out Nicki has a lot of sons as in her opponents that she wound up mothering and she has proof that you’re one of them.
“Me? I’m Jem and these bitches is the holograms”
Jem and the Holograms is a TV series back in the 80’s that focused on a music on an alter ego and would have adventures. This is a jab at her competition saying Nicki is the main event while the rest are just in the background.
“Me? I win and these bitches......my ship just cruise.”
The “ship” is a metaphor for her competition’s career. Their success in the music industry is comparable to a ship sinking to the depths of the ocean. Meanwhile, Nicki’s is fine. Nicki wins.
Tumblr media
"Light My Body Up"
"I just started my sentence like a capital letter / Got barz for years, I hope you send me a letter / Know she'll never be Queen so now she got a vendetta / I ain't talkin' about David when I say I'mma get her."
Let me add again how great this song is put together and the vocals are so hypnotizing, it really shows the versatility the rapper possess.  I'm gonna decipher the whole verse in one go:
A triple entendre, which there are two in this whole song, lyricism girlies. Sentences have to start with capital letters, a jail sentence is a period of prison time an inmate serves, and capital punishment is the legal authorization of the death penalty. Referring to the felon and not being able to reach out to the outside world, letters are the only form of communication lol. Knowing that she's not the Queen, she has a vendetta which is like a feud or looking to seek vengeance on someone. She made Guetta which is David's last name an entendre with the way she says "get her" as "get ha" which is then "Guetta". Wordplay girlies. Get into it!
Tumblr media
Guest star on Katy Perry's fifth studio album, "Witness", Nicki Minaj spits cold barz and sings a bit on "Swish Swish" which is a record that is aimed towards frauds from both artists. The perfect shady record that will surely get a tickle from you while listening to Minaj's verse because it's true what she says on a very upbeat vogue essence instrumental.
"Swish Swish”
"Silly rap beefs just get me more checks / My life is a movie, I'm never off set / Me and my amigos, no not Offset........
Don't be tryna double back, I already despise you / All that fake love you showin' couldn't even disguise you.........
Ran? When? Nicki gettin' tan"
Incorporated more of these barz from different segments because a lot needs to be discussed and deciphered.
"Silly rap beefs.......no not Offset"
Nicki says rap beefs make her more money, which can't be said for you. She and her day ones friends / amigos / Migos which is a triple entendre and no one seems to appreciate her lyricism. Her friends are real and not around for her fame, not off set (behind cameras). Her life is glamours, all around, all the time and she's never off set (Offset) which is a shoutout and entendre to the rapper of the Rap group Migos).
"Don't be tryna double back....ran when?"
Nicki sings about Remy Ma trying to take back what she said on The View about taking shots and writing that record about the mogul. She wishes she could take it back. So why you tryna take back what you said and did? Because you really scared about what's to unfold. Oh, where was Nicki when the diss record drop and why she takes so long to respond (less than a week) [asked angry commenters] Nicki was at the beach enjoying her tan with family and friends without a care nor worry about what one miserable bitch said. Let me enjoy my vacay with my day ones, rejuvenate and eat a career, later.
Tumblr media
Definitely not the last jab, Remy puts out another Remix, which nobody asked for, on Future’s “Mask Off”:
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ
“Mask Off (Remix)”
“Murder Next / Who I’mma murder next? / Maybe her? Nah, she ain’t worth it, yet / I burned you / Your new name is Bernadette”
ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ pap ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ ᴾᴬᴾ ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖᴘᴀᴘ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP ᵖᵃᵖ ᵖᵃᵖ ᴘᴀᴘ PAP Pap ᴾAp ᵖᵃᵖ ᴾᴬᴾ
The whole playful thing isn’t for her. It’s quite comical at this point how far she thinks she’s gotten with this whole “beefing” lol. It’s another NAH.
After the silence of the beef guess who got recognized and appeared on a talk show but was only asked about Nicki Minaj. So you tell me who's winning. 😂 Remy and Fat Joe both appeared on Wendy Williams and tried to be petty and talk ill about Nicki trying to keep her off red carpets, lmfao. Came dressed in black for the "occasion" and doesn't speak ill of the dead. Girl, bye, lmfao. You ain't did shit but get gassed by the GP who ain't even bought your flopBUM nor listened to it so bai. Remember when she said that the beef is over with when she landed a feature on The Real? Yeah, she said she was done with it lol.
But Nicki isn't done, she'll let you know when she's done and it will likely end with you scavenging what's left of your career in order to try and stay relevant. Nicki then dropped a great verse which I might add was ranked the best verse off of all the features 2 Chainz had on his album "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music", which is a great album, her "Realize" verse was ranked by Complex the best off the ENTIRE album full of male rappers. More tea for those who say Nicki can't spit but when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it. Remember when Kanye wanted to take Nicki's verse off "Monster" featuring JAY Z and Rick Ross because he was scared she would body him on his best album to date, which proved to be true. "Monster" was ranked best Rap Verse in a decade. Now check that.
"Realize"
"I’ve been winning eight years consistently, at least respect it / Papoose wrote a ‘Ether’ record, but I broke Aretha record / See, this is chess, not checkers / You can not check the checkers / Did Nas clear that ‘Ether’ record? Nah, but I broke Aretha record."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again, wordplay. Nicki clarifies herself winning eight years since her come up which is true. Titles, records, and numbers don't lie. Most people were focusing on the negative of a ghostwritten record while Minaj broke another black woman's record. Which is why she states it twice because it hasn't been done with the reign of Aretha until now with Minaj. Plus, you can’t check someone who does the checking.
Leading up to Summer Jam (which is full of fake ass people) had a segment where Remy performed and made it all about the platinum artist. She had Lil' Kim and Cardi B on stage while she was performing her diss and visuals of Nicki Minaj. Can we just say this bitch is obsessed? She went on even after the event pleading about Unity and that Nicki isn’t about that and it's not about who’s better but that’s exactly what they were up on stage saying and doing so.... Damn.
Atlantic Hip-Hop Records is famous for trying to get these girls to go toe-to-toe with Nicki Minaj. Rappers Leshurr and CupcakKe were offered a deal to start beef with Nicki Minaj and would be given $250,000. Both declined and respect Nicki’s platform and know tearing down another female isn’t the way to start up. Why is this relevant? Because Kim was with them, Remy is now signed with them and now is Cardi B. Gotta stay WOKE about this guys. They don’t care about their artist, just the buzz. So I hope Cardi is smarter than that because Atlantic is looking for their next test dummy. Smh.
Remember when I said I was gonna back to the feud Kim and Remy once had? Yeah, they both said that they were going to murder each other and both dished out a few disses. Fast forward into the future where two bitches hate the same person link up, it's pathetic. The friendship is forced and isn't authentic. The feud they had was ugly and the only reason they're linking up is that they have one thing in common, Nicki Minaj. The same Reminisce that said she couldn't work with Foxy Brown because they couldn't repair the damage with the beef they had is the same girl who made a joint album with the dude she feuded with and performed and brought old rival Kim on stage about the same girl they despise. This is how you know how fraudulent the bitch is. These are FACTS and not tabloid rumors. Stop believing what these artist claim to spit to be real when receipts and concrete evidence is provided but y'all don't wanna hear it, see it, or read it when it comes to Nicki Minaj.
June, 17th for Birthday Bash in Atlanta both artists Nicki and Remy performed but let's get something cleared... Remy performed when Nicki hasn't arrived yet. As Nicki was on stage she performed her hit record "No Frauds" and got the crowd hyped. The delivery was crucial because Remy was backstage trying to run out of the building and tried playing it off on social media saying she (Nicki) performed after she left but SEVERAL celebrities who attended said, in fact, Remy was still there but trying to scurry during the song but was in fact there. So why you flexing for the ‘Gram?
Tumblr media
With Nicki’s last and grateful jab (”Grateful” DJ Khaled’s latest album that went #1) see what I did there? 😉 With the release of his number one album, “I Can’t Even Lie” with Future got the world talking and definitely got the been-a-fans in a tizzy. Wordlpay, barz, flowssssss... Nicki’s a beast man. Let’s break it down!
“I Can’t Even Lie”
“Queen back in the U.S., low iron but you pressed / Who lied and said ‘you next?’ / Crying emojis in my group text / Stay in your bum ass duplex / It’s Minaj no group sex / Queen never shuffle, you deal / Just turned down a four million shoe deal.”
Wow, I can't even wrap my head around this. This is too much. Triple entendre's and goals to be that rich to turn something like 4 mili down. Yikes!
Look, before y’all say anything this is Rap beef so anything goes. If you can call out family members by name and use false accusations, body shame, this is allowed! There are no limitations. So fuck off elitist who don’t know shit about anything!
“Queen back in the U.S. low iron but you pressed.”
As we all know, Nicki is officially back in the U.S. after vacationing and attending fashion shows and hitting up the studios as it seems. This is a triple entendre; low iron as in my bitch is hot and you’re upset at the fact you aren’t / low iron doesn’t do much on a low setting, like you, you don’t do ANYTHING so who lied and said you the next bitch? / low iron actually affects fertility. 😈
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
June, 26th the BET Awards... Nicki lost her award to her rival and when the speech was made, it was a moment to acknowledge your accomplishment yet made the moment about Nicki Minaj yet again. In fact, you can say the award was just given to Remy because BET never truly supported Nicki and when she said she would no longer be performing that was their way of getting back at her and adding more fuel to the feud but Nicki Minaj was unbothered and the internet had a lot to say defending Nicki's title and reign. The award was presented just to stir the pot further. We all know it's about sales and votes  (Cardi B sold more with her two mixtapes than what Remy did since she's been out, intact, the entry for Remy was too late, "All The Way Up" was released too late for her to even compete but being shady, BET let it slide) which we know who had more but it backfired. BET burned a bridge with a mega-star who will no longer attend and ratings took an all-time low this year. Unbothered Queen, received the Key to the City of Queens NY which is way more of an accomplishment than a "BET award, it doesn't count" which I remember the general public calling it when Nicki won seven years in a row, so let's keep the same hype y'all gave Nicki for winning, to the fraudulent felon for getting the awarded handed to her. This is the first time that a female artist received a Key to the City and a huge accomplishment. Always reppin’ where she’s from so this is a great acknowledgment of her doing so and continuous success. Queens, NY truly noticed her accolades and accomplishments in music, that's way more to brag about than a female award. Am I right? Even with all that has happened, the Raptress still finds herself to be the first of something as over the weekend she opened up with a few hit melodies on NBA’s first ever Award Show and Co-host Drake and a few weeks prior to that she became the first female to open up the Billboard Music Awards with a 9 minute hit melody. Wow, remember when she was the first and only solo female rap artist to open the Grammy’s back in 2012? W I N N I N G.😘
