saw someone mention wanting to see an older/younger moment for taissa which i 100% need, and now i'm considering the implications of reversing the process for her. like, instead of her older self turning into her younger self in a moment of stress, young tai turns to older tai the moment she steps off the rescue plane signaling that she is forcefully burying her current self and mentally living decades in the future. she will not really live her 20s or 30s, because from the moment of rescue tai's entire existence is about crafting the perfect life to disappear into. it's a forced metamorphosis that can only end in tragedy

or, conversely, other tai is the one that changes into her younger self. because no matter how bad things get, tai is unable to fully reconnect with her younger self, for better or worse. she severed that part of herself so completely that she can never go back even if she wanted to. because tai pretty much hit rock bottom in season 2 and it made her other self come out more, but the younger version of her never came any closer

i'm gonna pair these together cause i feel like they overlap enough that my response to each would be fairly similar.

anyways, i've literally been thinking about this for literal hours on end and i feel like the only way it makes any sense at all is if the plan is for vcarb to truly be built around daniel from the ground up—he's the leader, he's the face, it's his team, etc—and for it to be As Good As Red Bull. if they need two strong leaders for two strong teams, max and daniel are the guys to do it. that makes sense to me.

but what doesn't make sense to me is.....would red bull REALLY be willing to sacrifice some of their own performance for the sake of vcarb? especially if ferrari and potentially merc have two strong drivers in their lineup that will be racking up points and at the very least challenging for the constructors?

what also doesn't make sense to me is the apparent timing and details of this deal. for red bull to not only extend a deal, but extend a THREE YEAR DEAL before the cars have even touched the track? that would have to imply that a) they want alex more than literally anyone else on the grid and b) they're completely confident in his ability to deliver over this regulation set and the next. and don't get me wrong, i think alex is great and i wouldn't be surprised at all if he actually is on the shortlist for the second rbr seat, but i'm just not convinced that it's a situation where they want him SOOOOOO fucking badly that they're willing to go out of their way to extend him this kind of deal before they even get the chance to evaluate their other options on the track.

As much as I love overwatch, I am so sick of people being mean. It seems like 90% of games whichever losing side either blames their tank or support when 90% of the time it's definitely not either. Also I only play quick play games so these don't even matter. I can understand being upset if you're playing competitive but people still don't need to be rude. Quick play is supposed to be fun. I usually get people commenting on me being a one trick but if I play anyone else then I get told I suck. How am I supposed to learn new characters if I get bullied from trying them? And especially now that there's only one tank I constantly see "tank diff" in the chat. Like grow up. It is very rarely only one person's fault that a game is lost and that's usually because they leave or they are literally not trying and just running around saying hi to the enemy team. No way was it all the tanks fault. And it's literally always the damage players complaining about it. Like maybe you're losing because you keep saying rude shit in the chat and you're bringing morale down and nobody wants to play with you.
