For my Filipino Friend's On This Day Post

I have remember that track. I remember racing that track in Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7. It can be a challenge to race that track, and if Shadow, Spot, Caleb and Bonn were to race that track, i'm sure the four can enjoy a race at Circuit de la Sarthe. Depending on which version the four would want to race in. And maybe the four can use race cars to compete together. It'll be really fun for Shadow, Spot, Caleb and Bonn. But if Alex was thinking of racing too, then we can count him in as well as for Tory, Lisa, Riya, Miya and Aace. Now we got 10 racers who'll be competing in the race. But if Shadow, Tory, Lisa and Alex get tired in the 24 Hour race, i'm sure Spot, Bonn, Caleb and Aace can take their place just like what happened in the movie. Otherwise i bet the 10 can use a pitstop.

I bet it'll be nice to remaster the pic of his different styles of Maxwell. But ever since the Origins of Maxwell's Cartoon Styles. They look pretty amazing. Even though Max and Ruby, Breadwinners and Loud House are the shows i watch the Least. But with Loud House, the only character i don't mind in that show is Lincoln. And i only like his recent Voice actor, Asher Bishop. All i can remember is that if Squidward is not on Spongebob, i would imagine Lincoln took over his place and Spongebob and Krabs would both be confuse. Like how Stimpy would take Patrick's place. And it was nice when our A-Pal got tired of Breadwinners since personally i wasn't a fan of Breadwinners either, because i like Harvey Beaks better, and Phantomstrider has talked about Breadwinners a lot and always find something new that is bad about it. Otherwise Zack, Jason and Brown better not encounter Mordecai where he got the Love Loaf from two main characters of the show. And with Max and Ruby, i used to like the show as a kid, but i can't stop seeing Ruby act like a huge Pain to her brother Max, they're always doing everything Max wanted to do, but Ruby told him that he needs to her plans first. Which it's a huge pain, even my mom's friend is not a fan of that show at all. But most importantly, i like the other styles since they do look amazing compared to some of the shows i sometimes watch.

And for the post of my Filipino Friend's return of Wagan Maxi Tune.

It's really cool he got back to his Wangan Maxi Tune Race, and also got to customize another car based on the Speedster family name. And normally when i go to the arcades to see that nice looking device for the Banapassport. Once i get my own, maybe i can make some car ideas for myself and have the Ramcats compete with the Speedsters. Even the Ramcats can always hangout with the Speedsters and give the Banapassport a shot.

Things I've been working on for quite a while

Ok. I know I haven’t drawn or written anything properly for quite some time now. However, I’ve been working on new ideas I’ve been planning to share one day. Keep in mind I might not share them immediately, as I’m Senior in high school, and I have to do exams for both graduation and other stuff related to my education. Anyway, enough with all of these, here are all my ideas I've been working on:

Liberty Gangstress (LBGT) - a Pokémon story, which will include many of my brand new OCs I’ve worked on for over a year. Similar to Heateon, whose story plot was based on Need For Speed Heat, this new story plot will be inspired by Need For Speed Unbound.

Creating and introducing multiple new OCs, and sharing some one-shot stories I’ve gotten ideas for, and whose Alpha & Beta versions were written with the assistance of ChatGPT. Before you all ask, no, I only used ChatGPT to help me get inspiration and motivation for these stories and characters, while everything I’ll show to the public will belong 100% to me.

Outlaw Gangster (OG) - A heavily rewritten story, whose original was a very old Pokémon story I wrote from between September 2019 to January 2021. In this case, however, all characters will be humans, and keep in mind that many of the characters in it will also be inspired by people I know in real life. So please, if you have anything about any of the cast, keep in mind that some characters might have prototype patents from IRL people. Story will take place in a different timeline from the IRL one, as the story IRL was originally established back in 2016, when I was only 11 and half. And unlike my most stories, this one will possibly be exclusive to only some sites, as uploading everything everywhere is getting harder and harder for me everyday.

Rush Gotham Blur - a Pokémon story, which story plot takes no inspiration, and it’s my own original. It’ll basically be considered a missing link that connects all my stories.

Millennial (Alpha/Beta title) - a Pokémon story, which will be a sequel of LBGT, taking place in the near future, and also set in a fictional city, based nearly perfectly on my own hometown Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

Trying my best to share as many video game screenshots as possible, mostly from Gran Turismo 7, but also from The Crew 2 & Motorfest, and if possible, from NFS Heat & NFS Unbound as well.

I’ve been working on a Discord server for a while now, and if you’re interested, you can join, and I’ll send you a private invitation, as I don’t want everyone to join. This is my new server, as I had an old one, which was an epic failure in my own personal opinion, as I was only 15, meaning I sucked really bad back then. Anyway, if you want to join, text me via Discord or by the websites’ personal DMs. I do that for security and safety measures, as I don’t want random and unwanted lurkers and haters in my servers. 

Keep in mind that I might not be able to accomplish everything I have shared here, as I’m over 18 now, and I don’t know how much I might be able to accomplish. However, if you don’t see anything shared from what I’ve written here, don’t worry, I might be able to share them one day, just not immediately.

Finally, before you all ask, I know I haven’t done anything online in a very long time, I just went through a lot of personal and online issues. So if you see me being inactive, don’t worry, I’m still here, I just need time for myself.

"Speed Racer" (2008) - The Wachowskis wrote and directed this exciting and very original adaptation of Tatsuo Yoshida's late 1960s Manga animated series about a young American race car driver. Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci and Matthew Fox starred.

2. "The Love Bug" (1968) - Robert Stevenson directed this funny and first-rate adaptation of "Car, Boy, Girl", Gordon Buford's novel about a sentient Volkswagen Beetle named Herbie and his relationship with his driver, Jim Douglas. Dean Jones, Michele Lee, Buddy Hackett and David Tomlinson starred.

3. "Those Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies aka Monte Carlo or Bust" (1969) - Ken Annakin directed and co-wrote this all-star comedy about the European car rally , the Monte Carlo Rally. Tony Curtis, Susan Hampshire and Terry-Thomas starred.

4. "Rush" (2013) - Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl starred in this biopic about the rivalry between two drivers, the Briton James Hunt and the Austrian Niki Lauda, during the 1976 Formula One motor-racing season. Ron Howard directed.

5. "Ford v Ferrari" (2019) - James Mangold directed this biopic about automobile designer Carroll Shelby and racer Ken Miles, who were hired by the Ford Motor Company to lead a team to build a race car that would defeat the perennially dominant Italian racing team Scuderia Ferrari at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France. Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

6. "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" (2006) - Adam McKay wrote and directed this sports comedy about an immature yet successful NASCAR driver. Will Farrell starred.

7. "The Great Race" (1965) - Blake Edwards directed and co-wrote this comedic and fictionalized account of the 1908 New York to Paris Race. Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood starred.

8. "Grand Prix" (1966) - John Frankenheimer directed this story about the fate of four Formula One drivers through a fictionalized version of the 1966 Formula One season. James Garner, Eva Marie Saint and Yves Montand starred.

9. "Viva Las Vegas" (1964) - Elvis Presley and Ann-Margaret starred in this musical comedy about a romance between a race car driver competing in Las Vegas' first annual Grand Prix race and a hotel swimming instructor. George Sidney directed.

The whole complaint about there being too many comic book movies is weird when you think of it as a medium rather than a genre - it's like complaining about there being too many novel adaptations, or films based on a true story.

Actually, come to think of it, it does feel like we've had enough films based on video games or musical biopics recently, but that just means that comic book adaptations are hardly the problem. It's all unoriginal, just chasing trends and following certain formulae, all latching onto recognisably IP and milking it until it curdles.

Relative to an industry dominated by films based on toys and household objects and spun off of TV series, even cannibalising other films into unwanted remakes and reboots and sequels and prequels, somebody adapting an actual story, with new characters, that has not been previously adapted to film, is like a breath of fresh air.

Within that medium, there can still be great diversity of genre. It used to be that we could distinguish between film noir and heist capers, between space operas and spy thrillers, but now if they were originally comic books it's all the same. It feels like lumping The Shawshank Redemption and IT together as 'Stephen King movies', or Twilight and The Godfather as 'novel movies'.

Yes, there are a lot of Marvel stories being produced all at once, but that's because they have half a century of content to catch up with, with thousands of comic editions to sift through and adapt. It's no different to what they'd do with anything else, and if anything I think they're being more discerning than the way they drag out some of their other source material.

You think they wouldn't have made 30 Harry Potter films if there were enough books? They added some extra ones as it was, and now they want to do a TV series. They turned a couple of Jurassic Park books into six films and counting. The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings became twenty hours and a TV series. If the Marvel canon offers a whole untapped universe of hundreds of characters to explore, what do you expect them to do?

'There are too many Marvel movies', sure, but there are too many everything movies. Every single smidgeon of IP will get exploited until all of the flavour runs out. This year alone we have John Wick 4, Rocky 9, Scream 6, Fast and the Furious 10, Evil Dead 5, Magic Mike 3, Transformers 7, Indiana Jones 5, Insidious 5, Mission Impossible 7, The Equaliser 3, The Expendables 4, The Exorcist 6, Saw 10, Trolls 3, Hunger Games 5, and Ghostbusters 5.

At the same time, we have films based on Super Mario Bros. and D&D and Gran Turismo and Five Nights at Freddy's and Teen Wolf and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Paw Patrol, biopics about George Foreman and the origins of Tetris and Air Jordans, remakes of Children of the Corn and The Colour Purple and White Men Can't Jump and Haunted Mansion, live action adaptations of The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan and a Willy Wonka prequel for some reason.

I feel exhausted just reading through that list. How many of those films were actually needed, or even wanted? How many are an obvious cash grab from a studio bereft of any original ideas, a forced extension of a franchise which should have been left to rest where it was? I don't understand all of the criticism focusing on the fact that there are three MCU films, when surely they are no more tired than any of the alternatives?

If you ignore the cross-over events, and look at Guardians of the Galaxy 3 or Ant-Man 3 as the conclusion of a self-contained trilogy, resolving various character arcs and introducing an engaging villain which an established history and background in the source material and an actual plotline planned out and executed, I don't know how you can say they aren't stories at least as worth telling as the umpteenth phoned-in sequel being drawn out of every popular film, with no plan other than to try to copy what was good in the original, to increasingly diminishing returns.

Next year we're going to get Planet of the Apes 4 (itself a reboot of a reboot), Godzilla/Kong 5 (itself the latest in a long line of reboots) Mad Max 5, Kung-Fu Panda 4, Transformers 8, Mission Impossible 8, Despicable Me/Minions 6, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, a musical biopic of Bob Marley, a live action remake of Snow White, another Garfield film, a prequel to the Lion King remake, and sequels to Dirty Dancing, Gladiator, and Beetlejuice.

I'm not looking forward to Thunderbolts, Captain America 4 or the Blade remake, but I don't think they're less original than almost any other film being released, and I don't understand why people are acting like Marvel are doing something particularly boring or cynical when they are still largely adapting original material and still have untapped stories to tell, which is more than can be said for most of these zombie franchises staggering on long after they should have ended.
