New York: More Ghanian Immigrants Arrested, Stole $55M via COVID-19 Fraud, Romance Scams
This follows the arrest of a at least five Ghanian immigrant fraudsters in New York some who’ve also pleaded guilty.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wednesday, February 17, 2021
Six Defendants Arrested In Multiple States For Laundering Proceeds From Fraud Schemes Targeting Victims Across The United States Perpetrated By Ghana-Based Criminal Enterprise
Defendants Laundered Over $50 Million, Which Primarily Consisted of Proceeds of Fraud Schemes from Business Email Compromises, Romance Scams Targeting Elderly, and Fraudulent Small Business Loans for COVID-19 Relief
Audrey Strauss, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, William F. Sweeney Jr., Assistant Director-in-Charge of the New York Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), and Jonathan D. Larsen, Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Office of the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation (“IRS-CI”), announced the arrests of FAROUK APPIEDU, FRED ASANTE, CELVIN FREEMAN, LORD ANING, SADICK EDUSEI KISSI, and FAISAL ALI, a/k/a “Clarence Graveley,” for charges in connection with their roles in a fraud and money laundering conspiracy based in the Republic of Ghana (“Ghana”) involving the theft of tens of millions of dollars. FREEMAN and ALI were arrested earlier today in New Jersey and will be presented in Manhattan federal court later today. ASANTE and ANING were arrested earlier today in Virginia and will be presented in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in Alexandria, Virginia. APPIEDU was previously arrested in Queens, New York on October 18, 2020. KISSI was previously arrested in Fargo, North Dakota on February 5, 2020.
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said: “The fraud schemes alleged that these defendants facilitated were lucrative, diverse, and most of all, callous. As alleged, they engaged in email spoofing, duping elderly online daters into wiring them money, and applying for government-funded Coronavirus relief funds earmarked for the benefit of small businesses affected by the pandemic. Thanks to the determination of the IRS and FBI, these defendants face serious prison time, and their next online profiles could potentially appear in a place where they’ll be unable to catfish anymore – the website for the Bureau of Prisons.
According to allegations in the indictments filed against APPIEDU, ASANTE, FREEMAN, ANING, and KISSI, a criminal complaint filed against ALI, and other court documents [1]: From at least in or about 2013 through at least in or about 2020, the defendants were members of a criminal enterprise (the “Enterprise”) based in Ghana that committed a series of business email compromises and romance scams against individuals and businesses located across the United States, including in the Southern District of New York. The frauds perpetrated by the Enterprise have consisted of, among other frauds, business email compromises, romance scams, and fraud schemes related to the novel coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.
First, the objective of the Enterprise’s business email compromise fraud scheme was to trick and deceive businesses into wiring funds into accounts controlled by the Enterprise through the use of email accounts that “spoofed” or impersonated employees of a victim company or third parties engaged in business with a victim company. Second, the Enterprise conducted the romance scams by using electronic messages sent via email, text messaging, or online dating websites that deluded victims, many of whom were vulnerable older men and women who lived alone, into believing the victim was in a romantic relationship with a fake identity assumed by members of the Enterprise. Once members of the Enterprise had gained the trust of the victims using the fake identity, they used false pretenses to cause the victims to wire money to bank accounts the victims believed were controlled by their romantic interests, when in fact the bank accounts were controlled by members of the Enterprise. Finally, the Enterprise submitted fraudulent loan applications through a loan program of the United States Small Business Administration (the “SBA”) designed to provide relief to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (“EIDL”) Program. The Enterprise submitted fraudulent EIDL applications in the names of actual companies to the SBA and when an EIDL loan was approved, the funds were ultimately deposited in bank accounts controlled by members of the Enterprise, including certain of the defendants.
APPIEDU, ASANTE, FREEMAN, and ANING received fraud proceeds from victims of the Enterprise in dozens of business bank accounts that they controlled in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia. The business bank accounts were opened in the names of companies formed by the defendants that were purportedly involved in, among other things, automobile sales, food imports and exports, and freight trucking and shipping. Once APPIEDU, ASANTE, FREEMAN, and ANING received fraud proceeds in bank accounts under their control, they withdrew, transported, and laundered those fraud proceeds to other members of the Enterprise abroad. The defendants primarily laundered the fraud proceeds through their businesses by using the proceeds to purchase automobiles, food products, and other goods from U.S.-based suppliers and distributors of such products and shipping those products to Ghana and elsewhere. The defendants’ transactions had the appearance of legitimate business transactions when, in fact, the products had been purchased using the proceeds of fraud schemes. This trade-based money laundering scheme was designed to obscure the origin of the fraud proceeds as well as the identity of the ultimate beneficiaries of these schemes.
Collectively, from in or about 2013 through at least in or about 2020, APPIEDU, ASANTE, FREEMAN, and ANING controlled more than 45 bank accounts that had deposits that totaled over approximately $55 million during that time period. A vast majority of the deposits consisted of large wire transfers and check or cash deposits from various U.S.-based individuals and entities that were victims of fraud schemes of the Enterprise, or payments for vehicles, food products, and other goods sold by the defendants that were purchased using fraud proceeds. As part of the investigation of APPIEDU, the Government has seized and is seeking the forfeiture of four luxury cars purchased, at least in part, with fraud proceeds, including two 2019 Rolls Royce Cullinans, a 2020 Bentley Continental GT, and one 2020 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.
KISSI received fraud proceeds from victims of the Enterprise in bank accounts that he controlled that were located in the Bronx, New York and elsewhere. Once he received the fraud proceeds in bank accounts under his control, KISSI withdrew, transported, and laundered those fraud proceeds to other members of the Enterprise located in Ghana.
ALI received fraud proceeds from victims of the Enterprise into a series of at least thirteen bank accounts at six different banks, which ALI controlled in the Bronx, New York. ALI used the name and identity of another person to open several of these bank accounts in order to conceal the proceeds of the fraud scheme. Once ALI received the fraud proceeds in bank accounts under his control, he withdrew, transported, and laundered those fraud proceeds to other members of the Enterprise.
* * *
FAROUK APPIEDU, 35, of the Bronx, New York, FRED ASANTE, 35, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, CELVIN FREEMAN, 47, of East Orange, New Jersey, and LORD ANING, 28, of Woodbridge, Virginia, were each charged in Indictment No. 21 Cr. 88 with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, one count of wire fraud, and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, which each carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison; one count of conspiracy to receive stolen money, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison; and one count of receipt of stolen money, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. The case against APPIEDU, ASANTE, FREEMAN, and ANING is assigned to U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff.
SADICK EDUSEI KISSI, 24, of Dickinson, North Dakota, was charged in Indictment No. 21 Cr. 64 with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, which each carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison; one count of conspiracy to receive stolen money, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison; and one count of receipt of stolen money, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. The case against KISSI is assigned to U.S. District Judge Paul A. Crotty.
FAISAL ALI, a/k/a “Clarence Graveley,” 34, of Orange, New Jersey, was charged in a criminal complaint with one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison; one count of making false statements to a bank, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison; one count of conspiracy to receive stolen money, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison; and one count of aggravated identity theft, which carries a mandatory sentence of two years in prison to be served consecutively to any other sentence imposed.
---------------------------------------------
At least one of the defendants - in the U.S. illegally - was released by a judge AFTER fleeing from authorities that SAME morning!
via Inner City Press who was at the court hearing:
Man Who Fled Fraud Scheme Charge Down Fire Escape Is Ordered Released to Self-Install GPS
Assistant US Attorney: Mr. Freeman tried to flee from the agents this morning. They knew he was inside, but he refused to answer. After 5 minutes, they breached the door - and found a window open with blinds moving. He was on fire escape.
AUSA: Mr. Freeman was in his socks and tried to climb down the fire escape. He has no legal status here. He had another person's driver license and debit card. He said it belonged to his cousin, then to his biological brother. There is a risk of flight.
...
Pre-Trial Services chimes in to suggest that defendant be allowed to self-install his own GPS monitoring bracelet.
The U.S. has become a laughing stock, an actual banana republic.
Another of the defendant’s or someone of the same name is listed as a volunteer at a Ghana-based Islamic organization.

Car Week Reveals
Monterey Car Week is the premier North American car event as we have pointed out repeatedly and the world’s automakers certainly see it that way as Car Week often serves as the North American reveal of new models or special editions. This year will be no different as several special reveals will occur as well as celebrations of certain automotive milestones. We suspect that this list may grow in the coming days as more information starts to come out related to Car Week events.
Lamborghini
One of the featured classes of the Pebble Beach Concours will be a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Lamborhini Countach. Yes, hard to believe that the Countach was unveiled 50 years ago. Adding further celebration to this milestone Lamborghini will unveil a new hybrid Countach, the Countach LPI 800-4.
Aston Martin:
Aston Martin will be returning to Monterey Car Week to celebrate its 70th anniversary since the brand entered the American market. Aston Martin will host an event at the Pebble Beach. The Aston Martin Club 1913 located on the 18th Fairway of the Pebble Beach Gold Course will be open for guest to view a display that celebrates the return of Aston Martin to F1 and will celebrate its connection with the James Bond franchise. Aston Martin will also unveil the Aston Martin Valkyrie Roadster and as “debut a new product from the brand which extends the company’s performance credentials a step further.”
Pagani:
Pagani will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Huayra with the reveal of the Pacheco Tempesta package the Quail. The modifications increase engine power and add some minor design details.
BMW:
Bringing a strong contingent to Car Week, BMW will be bringing some heat. Expected to be revealed are the new BMW M5 CS, Alpina B8 Gran Coupe, I4 and iX. It will also serve as the world premiere of the M4 Competition conversation and the first M3 and M4 models with all-wheel drive.
At the Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion BMW will have the North American Premiere of the BMW M Motorsport M4 GT3 customer race car. Also at the reunion will be one of BMW Motorsports’ 2020 M4 DRTM cars. Additionally, BMW will run three historic M3 race cars piloted by John Edwards, Conner De Phillippi, and record holder for the most IMSA pole positions, Bill Auberlen. The M3 GTR and the two (E92) M3 GT will compete in the ‘Masters Endurance Legends’ class with two 40-minute races on Sunday.
Audi:
The four rings will debut a concept designed to convey their vision for the future known as the Sky Sphere. Details are minimal other than the name sounding like the next iteration of the James Bond franchise.
Pininfarina
The production-ready Pininfarina Battista electric hypercar that was first shown as a prototype at the 2019 Geneva International Motorshow will make its North American debut. The Battista is powered by a 1,877-hp from Rimac made up of four electric motors with a 0-60 time of under 2.0 seconds.
Bentley
The luxury brand will debut several development prototypes called the Blower Continuation Series and the Bently Mulliner Bacalar projects. Car Week will also host the public debuts of the new Bentayga S and the Continental GT Speed Convertible. Both the Bacalar and Blower Series are limited to 12 units each. The Blower model is the first to be produced by the factor since 1930. What does all of this mean? We have no idea, but it’s all the more reason to go check it out.

The Bentley Continental GT Coupe For Rent The Bentley Continental GT Speed is a higher performance kind of the British grand tourist. Bentley Continental GT For Rent Sportier looking and more powerful, it niches between the typical model and the range-topping Supers ports. The new-generation GT Speed, built on the latest Continental GT, is booked to reach in 2019 for the 2020 model year.Launched in 2017, the third-generation Bentley Continental GT is already in dealerships, but the British luxury car company has yet to offer all the usual differences, like a base V-8 model and higher-performance models of the W-12-powered coupe. But it appears the wait is almost ended, as the GT Speed was marked testing on public roads recently. Just like its predecessor, the Bentley Continental GT For Rent will arrive with slightly fitter looks, a few extras exclusive to the cabin, and a more powerful version of the company’s 6.0-liter W-12 engine.

Limited Edition Continental GT to Celebrate Pike’s Peak Record
Bentley has announced details of a striking Continental GT Limited Edition that celebrates a record-breaking automotive achievement from earlier in the British marque’s centenary year. The run of special coupes is restricted to just 15 examples and honors Bentley’s accomplishment at the demanding International Hill Climb event in the USA in June.
The world’s finest Grand Tourer shaved an impressive 8.4 seconds off the existing record for the 12.42-mile course in Colorado, making it the fastest production car ever at Pikes Peak. Driven by three-time champion, former ‘King of the Mountain’ Rhys Millen, the W12-powered Continental GT climbed almost 5,000 ft through 156 bends in just ten minutes, 18.4 seconds.
The new Limited Edition is distinguished by a carbon fiber body kit and eye-catching Radium by Mulliner paintwork, mirroring the color scheme used on the record-breaking car. Gloss black detailing has also been added to the front lower bumper inserts, roof panel, wing mirrors and rear surfaces.
Acid Green brake disc calipers, Pirelli P Zero Color Edition tires in Radium Finish and a Pikes Peak decal to the front bumper hint at the Limited Edition’s record-breaking lineage, while 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheels in Gloss Black are standard. An optional ‘100’ grille is a reminder that the Continental GT’s impressive hill climb achievement took place in Bentley’s centenary year.
Inside the cabin, Alcantara with contrasting Radium thread stitching adorns much of the soft trim areas, matched with Beluga secondary hide. The steering wheel features a honeycomb stitching design and a center stripe both in Radium, as per the Pikes Peak GT race car. Carbon fiber fascias and wasitrails are complemented by a Piano Black center console, all adding to the sporting theme. The passenger-side fascia features a graphic showing a section of the Pikes Peak track, with five different graphics being used across the 15-car run, along with the record-setting time of 10:18.488.
Pikes Peak embroidery to the seat headrests in Radium stitching, Pikes Peak treadplates and exclusive B&O speaker covers in Black Anodized and Radium finish further enhance the interior appeal. The Continental GT’s luxurious cabin includes the ground-breaking Bentley Rotating Display, deep pile overmats and Front Seat Comfort Specification.
Like the Continental GT that broke the Pikes Peak record earlier this year, this new model features the world’s most advanced 12-cylinder petrol engine in the twin-turbocharged Bentley W12. This mighty engine develops 626 bhp and 900 Nm of torque, effortlessly accelerating the Continental GT from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds (0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds), with a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
The celebratory model is available to order from December 2019.

THE BACKGROUND STORY
(tw: prostitution mentioned, tw: suicide mentioned, tw: crime, tw: weapons)
Cha Hyunah and Kuan Hyoyeon are fraternal twins that don’t share the same father. Their mother, a high-level prostitute (as she’d call herself), had sexual intercourse with two men in the same night - which resulted in her getting pregnant with twins. At the time, she already had a child aged three, Lyang Chaerin. The custody of the twins and Chaerin were given to Lyang Hoseok, a wealthy business man that lead a stable life in Seoul, South Korea. Despite not being the father of either twin, neither of the twins’ fathers stepped forward when it came to claiming their paternity, claiming it had been a one night thing with their mother. With barely any contact with their maternal figure, the custodial fight for the twins lasted for a few years, well into the twins’ early teenage years.
Growing up with their half-sister Chaerin and seeing her as someone they could rely on in a maternal way, the trio became very close from the very start, relying on each others when times got rough, when the twins’ mother would try to come take them away despite having no conditions to raise them, nor intention to leave behind the life of prostitution for a stable nine to five job. The custody fight ended with their mother eventually taking her own life. When Chaerin became of age, her father introduced her to a world she’d never seen, to a world no one thought he carried on his shoulders: the world of organised crime. Teaching Chaerin from a young age was just the beginning of a legacy. Upon the tragic incident that led to Hoseok’s passing, Chaerin took the twins on board - teaching them everything they needed to know about the life they were meant to carry on. She trained both twins differently: choosing to enhance Hyunah’s skills in edged weaponry and Hyoyeon’s in hand-to-hand combat.
It wasn’t long before crime took over the cities of Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, and so on. Little things from the start: shop lifting, street racing, theft but things quickly took off for the newly formed trio, now self-dubbed, LKC. Low crimes no longer phased them, South Korea didn’t hold an awful lot for them so they went on to pursue different careers among themselves: Chaerin as the mastermind of the trio opted to go straight down the criminal justice route focused on tainting it more than it already was to give her family the life they all deserved; Hyoyeon followed a personal interest and went into dancing, initially she specialized in contemporary but soon switched and remained in hip-hop which she still teaches around the world; Hyunah was always the trickiest of the three as she held no particular interest other than money and reputation, so she worked her way up to the top becoming the CEO and model of a fashion brand.
Nowadays the sisters work in a well-organised trio. Chaerin is the director of the CIA in the United States where she resides, Hyoyeon is a professional choreographer constantly travelling the world from edge to edge, and Hyunah is a wealthy CEO and model of a fashion brand. They are so widely known that one would think that is how they manage to build the empire they have, oh if only the world knew what lies within.

5 Best Cars for long distance travel
Welcome to the travel section of our lifestyle blog
Have you ever wanted to travel on a long distance and do not know the kin of car to use ? Reason is because not every car is well-suited to a long distance travel road trip. While a sports car may be great for a short blast or a canyon run, a long trip in a stiff-riding roadster could result in a wrenching backache for the driver and passenger. And just because a sedan may have a big back seat, that doesn’t mean that it will deliver efficiency and comfort.
I’ve put together this list of the best cars for long distance travel:
- Honda Accord 2018
The 2018 Honda Accord mid-size sedan has made frequent appearances on “best of” lists, and for good reason. Today's 10th-generation Accord is the best in a long line of excellent Honda vehicles, and it makes a great long-distance car. Select the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, and you have an efficient, smooth, quiet highway machine. The rear seat has plenty of room for two kids, and the 16.7-cubic-foot trunk can handle luggage like a full-size car. The Touring trim level starts at $33,800, and would not be out of place in the Acura lineup with such features as a head-up display, leather upholstery, and the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance systems. The Accord is a nice place to sit while you soak up the miles with your loved ones. 2. Lexus LC 500 2018
LC 500 is not only an amazing sports car — it’s also a Lexus. And that means that the 2018 Lexus LC (starting at $92,000) knows how to coddle its occupants, cocooning the driver and passenger in high-quality materials and luxury appointments. You're both nestled in a cabin that’s connected to a 471-horsepower naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine. Select “Comfort” mode, and the LC purrs like a kitten, calms down the revs, and softens the shocks, allowing you to enjoy the comfortable seats and quiet cabin. Order the $1,790 Touring Package, and you get a Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound System to create your own soundtrack. Include some Barry White, Maxwell, and Marvin Gaye, and you’ve created a romantic long-distance drive that can get sporty at any time. 3. Volkswagen Jet ta
If Volkswagen was shooting for an affordable car for long distances, the company nailed it with the redesigned 2019 Volkswagen Jetta compact sedan. It starts at just $18,545 ($200 less than the outgoing model) and is rated to achieve 30 mpg city/40 mpg highway with its 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The base S model comes with some very useful features, like LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and VW App Net Connect. The Jetta has been around since 1979, and now in its seventh generation, it is more refined and capable than ever before, and now rides on an all-new platform. You can expect a quiet, smooth, composed ride from the Jetta while you cover long distances, and you’ll have the additional benefit of knowing that you’re in one of the most attractive new cars available for under $20,000 — and that goes a long way. 4. Bentley Continental GT 2008
Pull up in a 2018 Bentley Continental GT (starting at $225,000) at your school reunion, and your old friends will know that you’ve arrived. Even after a 1,000-mile drive, you’ll feel fresh and relaxed, thanks to a sumptuous interior with available power-massaging seats. You will announce your arrival with the growl of a 582-hp 5.0-liter W12 engine, and when heads turn they’ll see one of the most beautiful two-doors on the planet. Feign nonchalance when you gently close the front door, step around the big bonnet, and polish the Flying B badge above the big grille, and enjoy the envy of your old frenemies until it’s time to drive away again to your fabulous life. 5. Rolls-Royce Wraith 2018
When money is not an issue but ultimate luxury is essential, Rolls-Royce has your solution for long-distance travel. The 2018 Rolls-Royce Wraith (starting at $320,500) is the company’s grand touring coupe. With a 624-hp V12 engine, the Wraith moves like a shark through the roadways, swallowing up the miles with grace and menace. Its stunning exterior features rear-hinged power side doors that facilitate entry into the cavernous front and rear seats, even in evening dress. Once inside, you’ll discover a feast for the senses, with amazing materials assembled with the highest level of craftsmanship and style. Other vehicles will move aside when they see the Wraith lurking behind the big signature Rolls-Royce grille and Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. You will never want your long-distance travel to end when you’re driving a Wraith. For more information and enquires, contact us Read the full article

Photos and words by Atif Kazmi for Por Homme
I’ve been to Portland a few times over the years but surprisingly enough, it’s never been to see hometown heroes like Nike or adidas. It’s usually to experience what the Pacific Northwest has to offer both inside and outside the confines of this bustling city. The evolution’s been fierce and just in the last five years, I’ve witnessed Portland turn into a destination for those looking for a sort of duality that very few places can offer.
And this explains why I was here this time with Bentley, a brand that prides itself on all the luxury and detailing that goes into each and every vehicle that comes out of Crewe and blending that effortlessly with performance numbers that will drive you insane. We talk about it often — this mix between luxury and sport — but there’s aspirational youth in the feeling you get behind the wheel of a Bentley. This also trends right into their SUV, the Bentayga. It takes all these native elements we’ve come to expect from their sedans and GT’s and puts into a beautiful and versatile SUV. It’s more nimble than you’d expect from a full-size SUV and the off-roading capabilities make it the perfect all-season companion. Of course, I’m speaking from experience.
The British automaker has now introduced the Bentayga V8, a smaller-engine variant to the highly successful SUV and one we had the opportunity to spend a good amount of time with in and around Portland. The main — and what feels like the only — difference between the top-shelf Bentayga and the Bentayga V8 is the power transplant. Bentley’s swapped the 600-hp, 664-lb-ft twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12 engine with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 which still churns out 542 horses and 568 lb-ft of torque. On paper, the variance is minimal but driving it around the winding roads surrounding Mt. Hood showed just how confident Bentley’s latest offering can be. The handling is tighter and given that it’s shed some pounds and is still mated to the same eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system you’d find in the W12 variant, the changes in acceleration and responsiveness aren’t even noticeable. What is noticeable is the Bentayga V8’s increased redline to 6,800 RPM and the exhaust note, one that burbles just perfectly right out the V8-specific’s dual twin-tip tailpipes.
Bentley constantly urges its customers to experience luxury with an unparalleled level of intimacy. From the bespoke options offered to customers when the vehicle’s being built to the eight driving modes you can pick from when driving the Bentayga on- and off-road, there isn’t a moment that isn’t tailored to you. And that’s really special.
For city dwellers, the Bentayga V8 might actually be the best of all worlds. We get the design and styling of the highly successful Bentayga in a more efficient powertrain that’s probably the better option for horrific stop-and-go traffic we probably won’t be able to escape. The interior refinements and tech updates here are the latest and greatest next to the all-new Continental GT’s.
The Bentayga V8 isn’t going to be taking away purchases from the top-shelf W-12. Instead, by sticking to their standards and creating a V8 variant that sits at $165K USD, what Bentley has done is made ultra-luxury more accessible.
The 2019 Bentley Bentayga V8 Doesn’t Sacrifice Ultra-Luxury, It Makes It More Accessible Photos and words by Atif Kazmi for Por Homme I’ve been to Portland a few times over the years but surprisingly enough, it’s never been to see hometown heroes like Nike or adidas.

First Look: The All-New Bentley Flying Spur
In the year Bentley Motors celebrates its 100th anniversary, the British creator of extraordinary Grand Touring cars is promising to once again set new standards of both driving enjoyment and luxury when it reveals the all-new, third generation Flying Spur Grand Touring Sedan at 11:00BST on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
This will be the very first Bentley to feature All-Wheel Steering enhancing both stability at cruising speeds and agility around town. During high-speed maneuvers, the electronic system steers the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels, making overtaking and lane-changes more assured. All-Wheel Steering also means no compromise between high speed confidence and low speed convenience.
Like every Flying Spur of recent times, the third incarnation features All-Wheel Drive for optimum traction. For the first time, drive is supplied only to the rear wheels in standard road conditions giving classic sports sedan handling characteristics. If any slip is detected, the system can instantly send drive to the front wheels providing active All-Wheel Drive, fully automatically.
Bentley Dynamic Ride is designed to further improve both handling and ride comfort. New to the Flying Spur, the innovative system changes suspension stiffness on demand to combat cornering forces and minimise body roll that might otherwise disturb occupants.
Like the recently launched Continental GT, the all-new Flying Spur is a ground up development that pushes the boundaries of both technology and craftsmanship to deliver segment-defining levels of performance and refinement. Owing only its historic name to the preceding model, the four-door sedan will deliver an unparalleled touring experience for the driver and passengers alike. Quite simply, the world’s leading luxury automotive company is intending to create the world’s best luxury Grand Touring sedan when the all-new Flying Spur is revealed in just a few weeks’ time.
