Netforce TV movie, loosely based on a Tom Clancy (at least TC branded) novels has cybercrime police unit trying to foil a plot about a new browser that tracks and records all your online activity and sends it to the company that made it to do what they want with it.

To die in exile, let this be the judgment!” Anu was saying.
In amazement the judges at each other glanced. What Anu was saying they wondered.
“Neither on Earth nor on Nibiru shall the exiling be!” Anu was saying. “On the way there is the Lahmu planet, with waters and an atmosphere it is endowed.”
(he is referring here to Mars, which did indeed still possess water and an atmosphere at the time, although the atmosphere was thinning as the water continued it’s slow evaporation on most of the planet, while freezing at the poles)
Enki, as Ea, thereon made a pause; “of it as a way station have I been thinking. Its netforce is less than that of Earth forceful, an advantage in wisdom to be considered”
“In the celestial chariot Alalu shall be taken, on my departing from Earth he with me shall make the journey.” Anu then was saying. “Around the planet Lahmu we shall make circuits, to Alalu a sky chamber we shall provide, to the planet Lahmu in it he will be descended. Alone on a strange planet an exile he shall be, His days to his last day by himself to count!”
Thus did Anu words of judgment utter, in solemnity were the words intended.

#hacking #security #infosec #macosx #macosxsecurity #nsa #cia #fbi #cyberterrorism #tomclancynetforce #netforce you know, as I was blogging about microwave guns and such, as I was writing a good point I got an intense headache. I am sure it was when I wrote that YouTube is the new anarchist cookbook and needs to be regulated or maybe that hey, we need to be able to defend using those anarchist hacker techniques, against the anarchist hackers. https://youtu.be/7A13yAjekXY upping the power of https://youtu.be/YXzQSoNLRCo this. https://www.wired.com/2009/07/court-to-defendant-stop-blasting-that-mans-mind/ the problem with tweeting that hey, hackers, anarchists and communists and now I realize, alt-right Mormons and far right types too, is exposing them will piss them off, and copycats will get ideas. As we said as kids, monkey see, monkey do, I don't wanna look at you. Look on YouTube for the search terms, minus the quotes "microwave gun" and see what you see. That's just one way. Then pick up a copy of Tom Clancy's Net Force, one of my favorites and I dunno what happened to my Tom Clancy books. They seem to have disappeared. I still have a bad bad headache. Plus I think someone siphoned my gas as I sat and wrote my blog. Technology has its downsides. You know you can suscribe to a service, I forget the name, to be able to track someone, real time, live, via their smartphone? Anyone can subscribe. Scary. And I've been a smart ass to a lot of people. Lol I remember being told when I was homeless "welcome to the jungle" but they were a lot nicer, the Latinos /illegals than these gringos or whomever is messing around. And Christopher Walken is in one of these trailers!
Previously, on Throwback Thursday, we went back to 1986, watched a few commercials, a few movie trailers, laughed a little, enjoyed a beer commercial or two, and felt good about outselves.
Today, we’re moving forward to 1999 and away from the warm and fuzzies of the movie trailers of 1986. These are the opposite, and I’ve only heard of one of these movies.
But Christopher Walken is, in fact, involved here!
And so is James Woods….
And Ray Liotta, Anthony LaPaglia, and Anjelica Huston…
Tim Daly even stops by!  We love him on television, so why wouldn’t we love him in a movie?
Did I mention it was a Stephen King miniseries?
All of these trailers are contained within what I’m lead to believe is the 1999 Trimark Home Video print of Tom Clancy’s Netforce, which aired on ABC on February 1, 1999 (ironically, just two weeks before Storm of the Century, that aforementioned Stephen King miniseries Tim Daly starred in).  I happened to like both movies, however cheesy they both were.
Besides, Scott Bakula and Tim Daly having face time on the same VHS must mean worlds colliding or something.  It is pretty hot.  :-D
The video quality was a little iffy – it looked like it froze momentarily during the transfer, but otherwise is fine.  If you go ahead and click play, perhaps you’ll remember some of these movies.  Because other than Storm of the Century, I had no clue these other movies existed.
And be sure to visit Trimark on the World Wide Web…
Oh.
Well then.
There you have it folks, some movie trailers by a film company that no longer exists.  I guess when you put out movies people haven’t exactly heard of, then this is bound to happen.
I just found out that they’ve been defunct since 2000, and Lion’s Gate succeeded them.
Oh well.
On that depressing note, have a great Friday!
#FlashbackFriday Stars In This Movie! And Christopher Walken is in one of these trailers!

Just finished the first book in the #tomclancysnetforce series by Steve Perry. 🌸 I'm not to sure about this book. It's a cyber crime thriller which is set in 2011 but was written in 1998. So while I enjoyed the story in general it was very wired to read bc some very important things that are not just mentioned but are main parts of the story don't actually exist. Such as 'VietualReality' and Holographic Projection. After reading a few pages it is also quite obvious that this novel isn't actually written by Tom Clancy, which is all right as I already knew this but at some points the writing style was kinda problematic. Again in general the writing style was very similar to that of Tom Clancy and I really enjoyed it. But the way the author talked about women and sometimes even about race was pretty problematic in my opinion. As these problems are only very minor in this particular book and I still enjoyed reading it I gave this book a solid 3 stars. 🌸 #bookstagram #bookoftheday #booklover #booktube #bookaddict #tomclancy #netforce #steveperry
