Redesigns/touch ups of various Neopet lore Characters with designs more accurate to their neospecies or complete species-rehauls all together. Full offense but I always hated how many actually important characters in Neopets were Lupes, Gelerts, Ixis, Kougras and Usuls. Too many of those guys all the time every time. I got sick of it. How are Altador and Sophie supposed to be hot wolf-king or snarky goat-witch when almost everyone else is already a wolf or goat?

-if you're wondering why Brynneth has wings, my redesign of her is that she was born in Fairyland to fairy-pet parents but retains her normal red-Kougra coloring regardless. I know that's not how paint brushes work in Neopets. I know; I think the tie in comics should have their own continuity and rules.-

I like how the Curse of Maraqua plot doesn't sanitize piracy as much as a lot of other media

Like, yeah, Garin is our main character...but he still robbed A WEDDING at swordpoint. And Isca is unable to convince him to leave piracy behind, to her frustration.

Come to think of it, a LOT of Neopets protagonists are or were thieves... Hanso, Nabile, Tomos, Garin...even King Skarl.

Background: Still dealing with Mr. Lemon Guy haunting me, I think, my Gods got involved and MAY have fixed it but we're waiting to see if it's a real fix or not (and I'm still gonna do the spells I planned for safety sake for protection for the future so this doesn't happen again! and in case he's not banished properly!) -- But I'm more just looking for a general "next move" even outside of this if that's what happens. If it happens to be about the haunting, it does, if it doesn't, it doesn't. I don't mind either way especially because I'm so uncertain on the resolution status of my situation.

It is hardened by what it has endured, and it is protected by its form. I think this card is a sign that your situation is resolved - or is, at least, close enough to resolved to count - and you're ready to move forward with everything you've learned from it.

But uh-oh! The Black Pawkeet is under attack! Captain Garin and First Mate Jacques are completely surrounded, but no one knows the ship better than they do, and their weapons are at the ready. This card refers to a self-defeating mindset, but there's more to this card than that. You might feel like you're trapped in your current situation and getting mired in all of the "should haves, would haves, could haves". You either need to change your perspective or understand that there was something you couldn't have done that resolved it. You did what you could, now it's time to move forward with what you have learned.

Well, that was an interesting reading! Ultimately, it was less actionable and more reassuring, but I have a feeling that's what you needed from this reading. As for something actionable... Though I think they were trying to make Garin and Isca a couple, but it seems it was one sided. Sorry Isca, Garin loves piracy too much to give it up for you

Does anyone ever think about the fact that of the three big Neopets canon couples, one featured the man coldly leaving the woman to die as she cried to him for help, one featured the man almost destroying the woman’s home city with black magic in an attempt to force marriage on another woman, and the last featured Hanso’s jokes. 

There ain’t no way Neopets is a kids site.
