Couple of my OCs

My initial off the top of my head wxs Pokémon partners match up would be

Nene - primarina/rotom/hatterene. Primarina is self explanatory, the rotom was originally rui’s but it possesses robonene so it’s hers now, and hatterene…

Emu - bewear/mr. mime/togekiss. Bewear is funny (& similar to the mascot bodyguard), Mr. Mime is self explanatory, togekiss is self explanatory wrt Pokédex entries.

Rui - porygon z/mimikyu/silvaly. I feel like all of these are pretty self explanatory.

Tsukasa - dragonite/sylveon/rapidash. Dragonite is a wxs world link reference, sylveon just fits, rapidash because there is no Pegasus pokemon.

Thinking abt pkmn Assignments and I've been avoiding because "what would their favorite pokemon be" "what pokemon would they be" and "what pokemon would they have" are all wildly different questions and then I realized I can just answer them all at once

BF: fave is snorunt (canonically), would be a nidorino, would have a squawkabilly

GF: fave changes frequently, would be a nidorina, would have an umbreon

Pico: fave is raichu (doesn't know much about pokemon), would be a torracat, would have a hydrapple

Nene: fave is spheal, would be a tinkaton, would have a mimikyu

Darnell: fave is charizard, would be a toxtricity (amped), would have a magmortar

Cassandra: fave is fennekin, would be a nicket, would have a delphox

Cyclops: thinks pkmn is lame, would be a galarian linoone, would have a mabosstiff

Alucard: also doesn't care, would be a meowstic, would have an alakazam

Hanzou: fave is gallade, would be a scyther, would have a greninja

Assuming this is a world where everyone is living... (because even though as ghosts, they have some access to modern tech etc., I still think the twins are out of touch with like, 'franchises'... I can't really picture either having much presence of mind to, like, own, pokemon brand things w.)

I actually imagine it'd be pretty innocuous, if Nene was fussing over having a tear in her underwear — I think she'd be saying this modestly, because it's embarrassing to tell a boy but, Tsukasa-kun is nice at least... and probably curious, asking.

He can be excitable about helping, and I think he'd simply offer her one of his or Amane's boxers. But I also think he could just as simply be told, no that's okay, and he'd be like. WAKKATA... In some cases Tsukasa 'stops' as fast as he 'starts', he's cute like that, like, GOT IT... OK! Asking Sakura to kiss, being told no. OKAE~

... I do like to think about TsuNene getting each other silly little gifts tho! In canon and in AUs... I feel like Nene-chan's taste in toys is perfectly compatible with Tsukasa. Looking at the things she brought in her lil backpack to the far shore is so delightful.

We got badminton in here. Dice, cards, jenga, a lil dolly, a notebook... Show Tsukasa games on the switch! (I guess I could picture her showing him pokemon actually, ww...)

And then the otamatone. It kills me Nene has such a thing. A-annoying,

One must imagine she saw clips of it online and. Saw it in stores and was like ahahaha yeahhhh. Gets this. I think her and Tsukasa would have a field day with this thing.

After all, Tsukasa ends up playing with that puzzle of hers. Similar taste!!! Haha.

I always admire the little glimpse we've seen of Nene's bedroom. The general 'design sense'... toys, trinkets, things on shelves... It's cute stuff. I really like to think about Nene pocketing things from her desk to show Tsukasa. Buying him things while at a dollar store, there's so many 'novelty' type things one can get at like a daiso, I can simulate it in my mind ah....

Yorishiro Tsukasa seems to be, stunted, not so different from his 4 yo self, in some crucial way. So I think his style of gift-giving is amusingly still like... finds marbles.

Accruing random objects around the school, or in boundaries. Often has a quality of, hands you pocket lint, but I think it's endearing, if you understand he really wants to show you it. Rat bones...

Nene-chan likes bones though. He'll get to her.

Rambling unnecessarily but, I think ~12 yo living Tsukasa has a certain air about him...

This one, I think could procure something thoughtful and personal for Nene, in a way that makes her fluster... See something in the store that makes him think of her. Poetically. [speaks in tongues] Akin to the Rasphard making Neige-sama those clover flower-crowns, or buying her a brooch... [sighs]

POKEMON THOUGH! Hm. Eeveelutions are hard to work with, I personally wouldn't make the 3 as eeveelutions! I guess I'd make Nene an eevee, mostly because I don't vibe anything else for her, and I at least think she'd be very pretty as an eevee...

Over a year ago, I thought of them all as pokemon. This is where I ended up!!

My favorite picks for Nene here are alolan vulpix and galarian ponyta. That kind of prettiness... hm hm... I see it for her...

Flor feels very Skeledirge to me (the marigolds, the ghostly motif, the bright colors and paint) or Blacephalon for the explicit clown imagery and the fire typing.

Vera (@junebluues) feels kind of like a Frogadier to me or maybe Galarian Corsola/Cursola for the vaguely plant symbolism as well as the white/ghostly air. Maybe Gossifleur for Ellie? Kricketune for Khoi because of the musical symbolism/violinist symbolism. I think Hisuian Samurott for Sai or maybe regular Sneasel/Weavile?

Zorua for Sirius, mayhaps. . . because of the two-faced nature. Sabyleye for Xael, I'm thinking, and Growlithe or Scraggy for Numa? Clodsire for Nene. For obvious reasons.

Low Key form of Toxtricity feels fitting for Kyo (@lookatmysillies) and Arcanine or Houndoom for Cas. Maybe Leavanny for Tallis, or Sawsbuck? I know that's not music related but there honestly aren't any harp-related pokemon. . . Tinkaton for Himei maybe or Lilligant (Hisuian form)? Eddy . . . I like Duraludon for it. Spiritomb for Yael and I like Mawile or Scizor for Naz. Halo and Light hmhmhm Rimbombee or Fidough for Halo and Type: Null for Light :D

Umbreon for Aurien (@apriciticreveries) for sure, for sure. Hattrene for Asahi, perhaps? Morpeko for Zero I think for the electric typing an half/half symbolism. Maybe Spoink or Grumpig for Zhuli because of the pearl?

I associate your oc yume with the pokemon munna and it's evolution musharna!! largely for the dreams aspect, as munna/musharna are known to consume dreams and are able to formulate certain images out of dream mist. they're able to make illusions and cause a bit of unreality confusion, which I think fits yume pretty well! there's also the fact that they produce dark mist when consuming nightmares, which reminds me of yume's dark hair.

I actually have a musharna on pokemon shield which I named after yume! ^^

oh oh oh this actually made me remember that scrapped pokemon au fanfic I was gonna write (yashiro and kou are trainers helping out tsuchigomori who's the professor, and hanako be like the champion who volunteers to help one day)

let's see uhhh (this is a shortened version of... like a LOT so I'm sparing y'all the pain of scrolling lol)

Nene would totally own at least... three Eevee

one of them would turn into Sylveon and the other would be Umbreon

The other one would remain an Eevee for a while

She'd be more into Pokemon Showcases/Contests than battling

But unfortunately, the universe decides she's more talented into battling

Kou would own a bunch of Electric-types

Like Manetric. Come on don't tell me that Pokemon doesn't scream "big Kou energy"

He'd constantly try to challenge Hanako into a battle

See him pull a shounen protagonist bit and be like "I'm gonna go to the Pokemon League! And I'm gonna win!"

Teru would be some sort of a gym leader

Using Electric-types too, of course

Mitsuba would rather go with the cute ones to match his aesthetic

A Milotic or an Altaria would suit his tastes, probably

Like Nene, he'd lean more on contests

But doesn't mind battling sometimes

Hanako would definitely use Ghost-types and Dark-types

And a Zoroark. Cuz he's as smooth as he claims (no basis)

Aoi would have either Water-types or Grass-types

Mostly just to care for the berry plants she owns in her garden to give to Trainers and Pokemon

She's more like a Pokemon Nurse or something similar

Akane would have Pyschic-types or Fighting-types

I actually had to clean up a bit because there was so many things on my desk dnfjeje but yeah that's where I always draw!! Its a mess of cables, I know... and the desk is actually super thin and fragile and I definitively have to get a new one because its getting really dangerous since its starting to break and,,,, i don't want to loose my stuff

Plus it actually is pretty small and doing traditional art is a pain because I have to move everything

There's also so wip of a map for a pokemon thing im making but its like barely started and barely a doodle too so I won't show it

Yes, a polar bear is holding my sticky notes that I use all the time because I can't remember ANYTHING and yes its next to random pokemon cards I found and its sitting on the thing I use to store my traditionnal art supplies!! Oh and you can see my stylus and pens a bit too

My desk is a mess really (and its clean right now so imagine is messy)

So I tried to draw a human quickly but it wouldn't cooperate so I drew the other thing I could do quickly, so I ended up drawing an Umbreon (yeah, pokemon again?? Im in a pokemon mood these days)

Hanako has a Greninja, fits with him being a dark type and weak to lightning. Yashiro has a Eevee, her other pokemon are either grass or fairy types.

Yeah! Greninja would be a good match for him! And Nene having an Eevee would be extremely fitting too, she would have some variants like Sylveon or Umbreon or even Leafeon
