Not sure of the girl band, but Nele appears to be definitely involved in music and especially theater, see this link

(for what it's worth: one of Flake's daughters was definitely in a 'girl band' (Pacs) for a while)

Someone said that Nele uses to play in a girl band in the early 2000s and actually uploaded some of her songs on youtube.

I would like to find it, any clues?

«Home Sweet Home» is the track from Lindemann's album Skills in Pills, often mentioned as being dedicated to Till's father Werner Lindemann, who died of cancer. In an interview with Helge Malchow, dedicated to the reissue of Werner's book "Mike Oldfield in a Rocking Chair. Notes from a Father", Till recalls this difficult period for him.

Till visited his father in the hospital and, although he was under the influence of morphine for most of the time, he tried to support him.

«As soon as you leave the hospital, you are operated on, irradiated, everything is great again, you think you are back on top, up and down. So a month passes, two, and then within two, three, four weeks it is all over. That was the case with him. But the visits to Flensburg to the hospital – that was a good, peaceful, calm time. We even laughed a lot.»

When Werner's condition worsened, Till and daughter Nele were in Venezuela, returned later than planned and learned that their relatives were looking for them. They immediately went to see their father. Two days later, he died.

Are there any photos of R guys with their parents? I think I've only seen Till's mom.

Indeed, there are a couple of Till with his mother Gitta, like this one (and ofcourse also daughter Nele)

And we have Paul with his parents Erika and Anton Hiersche (and sister Sabine)

For Schneider, i haven't found one *with* parents, but this is his dad Martin (photo from his obituary)

(Maybe interesting sidenote, the parents above were intellectuals, something pretty valued in the GDR:

Here she often touches the soul, for example when she describes the last hours of her husband's life, from whom she lived apart but to whom she was so close: 'We washed and dressed you. Your son tapped you on the chest - hey old man, he said, very despondent and we both cried. I couldn't watch them carry you away, so I cowardly sneaked into the garden.'"

With "Declaration of Love to My Son" the mother dedicates her own text to him, which shows the often martial-looking Rammstein frontman with his sensitive side, as a "family guardian", who picked up his grandmother, in a wheelchair for Christmas dinner and fed her in his Mecklenburg home, his "source of strength". 'If I didn't happen to be his mother, I would like to be friends with this man.'"

Till has a son????

I'm not a Till expert, but from what I gathered, he seems to have two daughters and two sons. Since it's widely known who the mothers of the daughters are (Mareike Lindemann for Nele, Anja Köseling for Marie-Louise), I have no idea if there's any information out there about his sons and their respective mothers.

Nele Lindemann is famous for being the child of Till Lindemann. Nele Lindemann is a celebrity child who gained recognition due to her father who is considered one of the best singers, songwriters, and poets in the Greman music industry.

PB: Where did you receive your welcome money? (special amount of Deutsch Mark given to the people of the GDR after the fall of the wall, which they could collect in West Germany)

Till: Near the border in Lübeck. And I spent it in a small shop on sweets, gummy bears, yoghurt gums. I said to myself: I’ll eat until I will burst! In the times before the opening of the border one package of Haribo from the Intershop had to last a whole year.

Nuremberg, October 1, 6 p.m. The Rammstein performance begins in just under three hours. Hectic activity backstage. Last meetings and checks for the bombastic show with its sophisticated pyro effects, in between a man. 1.92 tall, all in black, with scary burning eyes - Till Lindemann, the singer and face of Rammstein.

The time has come: The RE team is shown into the master’s dressing room. In the box hang black, bizarre jackets and coats, the legendary seven-tailed whip, leather boots in between. A strange feeling is spreading in the stomach area - what will we expect: Till, who never laughs. Till, who becomes an animal on stage and goes through all the agony of his lyrics himself ... then he is there, sits down, lights a cigarette and says friendly: “Hi, I'm Till!”

He tells us about his life before Rammstein: “I drummed in punk bands and sometimes Paul and Richard were there too.“ Richard soon after formed what is now today's cult band. The otherwise so serious Till cannot suppress a slight grin at this memory: “We also sang English songs - that sounded terrible! The harshness of the German language does not come across in English.“ This also applies to the very latest plans to conquer America: “Some of the things will be translated, but the most important things will remain German. Maybe people get curious and try to translate themselves!" Anyone who knows Rammstein has a burning question on their lips: "Which sick brain writes such texts?" But Till does not want to know anything about dark and bloodthirsty content: "I am forever accused of being misogynist, sexist, and hostile to relationships, but everyone only hears what they want to hear. I only write what others don't dare to say. Apparently there is a need for it - success proves it! My music is art!” And this art appeals to a wide variety of audiences: from the stylish manager in CK-Anzung to the herd-banging long-haired rocker.

Since Rammstein became a mega seller, a lot has changed for Till Lindemann as a private individual. The 34-year-old, who becomes an animal on stage, is a single father of a 12-year-old daughter: “Nele was always with me, but because of the many live acts I have almost no time left. Therefore she is with her mother during the tour. She is both proud and annoyed about the many fans. She always has to take things home from school to sign!” When asked about a girlfriend, Till initially said spontaneously: “Yes, there is someone." Then after a moment's thought: "But actually I'm at home to camp.“ Finally his final comment: “I don't have the time for a serious relationship!”

On the rare days when there are no appointments to be made, Till prefers to lie around and watch TV: “But most of the time I’m writing texts or develop new ideas for the show.” Till does not want to commit himself to a preferred style of music:  “I listen to everything - from classical to techno.”

The former top swimmer is still training because the intense shows require a well-toned body. “I don't like swimming, but if I haven't been in the water for two weeks, I notice it immediately!” Till is really enthusiastic about snowboarding though: “Last year I even took the opportunity to go up a glacier before a gig in Austria!”

And what does this friendly Till himself say about the transformation into the animal that lets out its primal urges on stage? “I am Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde! I stand on the stage, hear the first note and no longer know what is happening to me. After the show I'll be back to Citizen Lindemann!” - Till Lindemann in Rennbahn Express - November 1997

Malchow: Have you made your peace with him?

Lindemann: I visited him. He was on morphium all the time, and you start to unfurl some things. I had a new girlfriend at the time, who I dragged by the hospital. And the way it goes, then he could be at home once again. You come out of the hospital, you’ve had surgery, had radio therapy, you feel great again and you think it goes uphill again, back and forth. That goes on for about one, two months and then within two or three weeks it’s all over. It was like that for him too. But the visits in Flensburg at the hospital, that was a good, peaceful and quiet time. We even laughed a lot. Then he came home. He started working again. I wanted to go to Venezuela to surf over Christmas with Nele, my friend Matti and another friend and asked him if that was ok. I feel great, he said. So we flew down there between christmas and new years, layover in New York, and then onwards down to Venezuela. There was a bit of a revolution going on down there, a little civil war, fantastic. [I can genuinely not tell if he is being sarcastic. I think he isn’t, the way it’s phrased implies he relishes in the chaos which ... I love him, but Till? Can someone please research what was going on in Venezuela in the early 90s?] Three weeks later the vacation was supposed to be over already, so we just extended it by another three weeks. On we went to Brasil. To keep my job at the time at the «Gallery at Lake Schwerin», I got a doctors note in Venezuela for 20 dollars. After we came back I even had to go to a puplic health official doctor, because they didn’t believe the illness and Imade up just dreadful lies there. Nele was three weeks late for school, it was a huge drama. In the evening we sat at our favourite pub, the «Chagall» at Schönehauser Tor. Paul’s, our guitarist later with Rammstein, girlfriend at the time, worked there. She said immediately: «Your sister called, your father is dying, they have been looking for you since 2 weeks. You have to go right now.» I left with Nele right away and two days later he died. He really waited for us. Less so for me, but he wanted to see his grandchild one more time. My mother was there too when he fell asleep.

Malchow: Were your parents still together at that point?

Lindemann: Yes, they couldn’t do without each other, even though they drifted apart. The stark thing is, my mother never had a man again. She can’t let him go until today.

Malchow: So back to the book, to his language, which deeply impressed me. I think there are a fee similarities too. He has a unique, expressionist style in this, for exemple when he describes nature, about weather, the animals he observes, the landscape.

Lindemann: Like me, he started with writing poetry and that was were his strength was. For him, like for me, it’s alot more difficult to tell a story, to write narrative literature. I admire those who can do that. I think that is the most difficult. If you have that foundation of poetry like him, that rhythm, if you think in comparisons and images and then start to marrate, you can feel it. The poetic remains. That’s why it gets a little «flowery» in the text sometimes. It has it’s very own unique style. Remarkable!

From what I've read/seen they do a lot of things like that, but then I guess that they're genuinely family. Though Nele and Till and his kids prefer not to be shown on IG but I've seen candid photos of Till attending them. It's super cute to think of them having family time like that. Also apparently Flake's family spend a lot of time with The Lindemanns too including picnics, hiking and going on vacation together en masse

I've seen a few pictures of Till with Flakes kids out in the woods or something, I believe it. This is. So warming for the heart.

It makes a lot of sense that it's Flake and Richard, they seem the closest with Till. It's so sweet, knowing how much Till adores kids.

Oliver Riedel's wife was one of two people credited for Oliver's stage outfit from the 2023 tour leg (the other person was Sara Kittelmann). Marie also dressed up the band for their Rosenrot promo shoot with Kasskara Agentur (which I like to call "The Fashion Shoot").

Paul Landers's wife did hair and make-up for the band for their LIFAD promo shoot with P.R. Brown in 2010. Arielle also did Paul's hair and make-up for his signature guitar shoot with Erik Weiss for Gibson. Paul's daughter Lilli is the assistant of TwoColors, his son Emil's duo, that has made remixes of Radio and Angst.

Andrea Marino, boyfriend of Richard Kruspe's daughter, is a member of Emigrate, has made a remix of Adieu, and was assistant for Richard during the 2023 tour leg. He has also done a non-published remix of Du riechst so gut. Andrea and Khira Li each played a DJ set at the Emigrate pop-up event in the Rammstein Store in Berlin.

Two of Christoph Schneider's sons were in the Ausländer music video.

Till Lindemann's oldest daughter Nele was a production assistant for Thalia Theater in Hamburg, which is why Lindemann created six songs for the play Hänsel & Gretel. Those songs became the starting point for the Lindemann album F&M, which featured five of them.

I've a question but not as spicy as others 😁

Is any of the family involved or was involved with the band? Like I've read that Schneider's sister used to make their costumes in the 90s and I know Richard's daughter sometimes helps with promoting Emigrate -- that sort of thing.

Oh and what exactly does Joey Letz does during tour? I know he's involved in both Emigrate and Lindemann.

Oohh, love that question! Well, the list that i know is probably not complete, but we'll start here and let others add on.

Constance Schneider - Christoph's sister, and indeed, did costumes for the band in the past (not anymore afaik)

Jenny Rosemeyer - Flake's wife, did the whistling part on the song 'Roter Sand'

Khira-Li Lindemann - Richard's daughter, was the child's voice on the song 'Spieluhr' (she also features briefly on the 'Live in Berlin' DVD and indeed participated in promoting the latest Emigrate merch line, also DJ'ed at a couple of afterparties on the 2019 tour

Emil Reinke - Paul's son, member of the band Two Colors' featured with a RMX on the 'Angst' single.

Andrea Marino - Richard's daughter's boyfriend (and bandmate at Emigrate), featured with a RMX on the 'Adieu' single

Joe Letz has been friends with especially Till and Richard for a loooooong time

and they both like having him on tour, in this video you can hear Joe talking about how they called him and asked him to just come along, they'd find something for him to do 🥰

In 2019 Joe was sort of a PA for Richard, handing him his stuff, helping him switch outifts and generally supporting him, and being the resident DJ at the afterparties.

In 2022 Joe started out as Richard's PA again, somewhere around the middle of the European tour Joe left (Richard's PA from then on a lady, i think her name is Shelley). At the US part of the tour Joe was seen visiting the band again, and going to clubs with Till between concerts.

And ofcourse most importantly, Joe is a drummer on most of the Emigrate videos, and is a drummer for Till's new Till Lindemann band, where he joined Till on stage on several shows. Unfortunately until now they couldn't play a lot due to Covid, but i'm sure there's more to come 🌺
