So she vows to bring Itachi to justice and bring him back to the village, even if it means dying. In this AU, Sakura is much stronger than in the canon, having devoted herself to her training from an early age.

Of course, she is unaware that the Uchiha massacre was ordered by the village's higher-ups, and that Itachi is in fact a spy.
